Why as a street cop in steubenville ohio. Or pocket LOL oh ho. Or Tallahassee should. Ibe interested in the first light liberator mainly it’s the ease of use. And the rewards that I’m going to gain with a minimal amount of training that’s not enough why am. Igoing to want to spend money on the first light lets going to save my life why it’s going to increase my shooting ability it’s going to increase my hands on ability. And it’s going to light up things. Inever would a little bit up before alright let’s expand upon. That why is it different. And why is it unique oh the form factor is the difference with a tube light you’ll have in your hands a lot of times. And other times you’re going to put. This can stay with you the whole time. And you’ll forget about. It’s just going to be. Another part of the body form light meaning what exactly the construction. And the form itself. We have with this particular light an ability to put. It on the hand and leave.

It on the hand with no interference. Where a tube light you’ve got to make a conscious effort to do. Something with it every time. You want to put hands on. Somebody or go into a flashlight ated shooting technique so the idea there is. It on your hand and leave. You don’t have to worry can. It on my end in virtually. Any sort of scenario absolutely the only two restrictions again are going into a pocket. You need to hold onto. Something tight like a fast rope large-diameter not. You can’t hold on to things. You can climb ladders jumping over fences putting hands on people. Imean that’s another perfect reason to have the Liberator there’s just very. Few limitations it looks funny. It looks funny and for some cups taking a look at. This for the first time they’re going to say well. How much can I manipulate. That comes the question as. We actually start to put. This light on and the very first time.

It on your thinking point that’s just a little uncomfortable but after about 10 minutes. It disappears and there’s actually a couple of different tactics. Or techniques we use a utility position. That comes out of the holster. You can use it just like. Any other flashlight with just a little thumb pressure. We do have those bottom three fingers loose there. Ican look under the tables. And do my searching with. Ithought something was coming I’d go from the utility right away to the tactical position. It on the back of your hand. And give it a little twist here to put. Wherever you want and then. This thumb pressure on the top of the hand. And from a standpoint of putting things in your hand oh that’s the idea of. You put a pistol in your hand into a two-handed grip. Whether it’s a magazine. You want to do a reload. We can drop them out to attack full reload. And stick them back in just your slacking and racking all those other little things.

You do after 15 minutes andI’m using. That term generically here but it’s a very short period of time. You forget even have. It on there you want to go into. That pocket we do the hands-on techniques we’re talking high goosenecks rear risks likes. All your hand cutting techniques speed cuffing pressure points. It actually adds a little bit of a tool. Ijust use a cubit on. All the time this actually helps with pressure points. Because it’s there but. You shouldn’t forget. And there’s really no issue with the comfort. And with the ability to keep a grasp on folks. You had indicated earlier. We were chatting or was a Jeremy. That the use of the first light in your research. And opinion will carve off two to three second yes in the overall evolution of a critical incident response correct.

That be hands on whether a guy is going to attack. Me for physically with his hands. That be with any type of weapon. Ihave to go to the pissed. We always talk about deadly force. And using a firearm but the same thing goes with an ass for any other tool. Imay have available to. We look at firearms. Because that’s a critical incident so. We talk about just the grip. And being able to keep the grip as we’re shooting you know. You just don’t lose the grip. More like in the past. Where the hands would split. And then the idea I don’t have to do. Anything with the light. Or try to do that magazine change with. Something in my hand. Ican do my smacking my rackin. Ican lock the slides back. Ican manipulate these put them. Iwant to and not have to worry about a control factor. You do with tube-like. And that’s what we see.

Most in our scenario training is. That tube lights tend to fall around. And fall to the floor. When you’re doing any type of weapons manipulation. That be with the pistol. Or with the carbine with the long gun tell. Me about situations you’ve experienced in the past as a younger top. You look back and say jeez. Iwish I’d had the first life Liberator well it’s just about every time. Iused a tube light that was the case every time. Igo into a building search every time. Iput hands on somebody every time. Ido a DUI stop and have to demonstrate. Something I’d have to put a light under my arm in my mouth which is kind of hard in the wintertime there gets stuck every. Once in a while so. We want to we want to get. It off the body into a place. Whereas long as I can release. It I’m good to go almost every situation. It is opening a door climbing jumping over getting in the car getting something out of the trunk charging and clearing your weapon.

You know just from a standpoint I’m getting ready to do a building search. Iwant to come up and do a fresh check. Iwant to drop a magazine to see. Many rounds it can be done without putting the light someplace else so actually. This little device we’re looking at is revolutionary no thanks very much looking for yes. It is yeah it’s again in the form factor itself. And the issues of being able to have. It on your person and forget about. It instead of making a conscious effort every time. Iget out of the car. Igot to take a light. Iused to have SAT pockets in my pants, so I’d have a place to stow them. That was pretty easy. Icould get it out of but again certain situations. It wouldn’t work building searches. And then especially. It comes time to put hands on. Somebody you still need a light it’s critical. You have or able to release. And not lose where the first light a could have saved officers from serious bodily injury.

And B could have saved officers lives oh absolutely. And a lot of the tapes. We see on your program from a standpoint of car cams. Where guys have flashlights in their hand tube lights. It stops them from doing things. They should and then causes them to do things. They shouldn’t you hear him talk about the darkness. And daylight I would have had. That light I had released. It in the interviews after the fact the form lighter the tube light has been a formed problem for a lot of years, but we’ve just lived with. Because that’s all of a sudden. We have a shin and every technique. Or tactic that that officer has to do is improved by having this form instead of the tube.

Hi I’m Stuart and welcome to Sonic television we’ve dropped down into the hallway here in the bowels of sign up television to take a look at a brand-new product from Streetlight in my hand here happens to be a poly steer from Streetlight it’s been around for many years is a great product nice and bright. This is the new stair LH LED. It is an incredibly bright light. And of course why should. You take my word for it as. They say in France let’s turn out the lights so. This is the standard Paulie Stinger as. What they might say. That cause it has a halogen bulb I’m going to illuminate the saira net logo. We have down here in the hallway in question, so I’m turned. This off and let the camera get. All nice and dark you can’t see. Me it’s probably a pretty scary thought. And then turn you can see the difference is essentially night. And day so let me just flick. It upside down like. This so again you can kind of get.

And silhouette now again we’re gonna take. This outside of course. It is a little darker it’s somewhat daylight here in the Pacific Northwest but. Ikeep my finger on the button. It just has dropped the intensity down. It again it will drop. Even lower you can clearly see. That there I do a double-click I’m. All of a sudden a discotheque but again. All in seriousness involved. This is an incredibly bright flashlight. And it’s definitely. Something worth taking a look at. If you’re involved in law enforcement. Or involved in the emergency services in general. You just want to have. Something really great at home to illuminate the backyard. Or to take out on a field trip so it’s definitely.

Something worth having a look at let’s get a closer look at the light. Now again you can clearly see the exit sign so you’ll have to live with. That for a second but I’m gonna turn on the standard poly. You can see their bad guy coming through door turn. This off and then turn on the daylight version. If someone’s coming through. That door they think is a freight train coming at them so again you’re looking at the pure intensity of 640 lumens. Now the light itself in high-output will put out 640 lumens that’s essentially 22000 peak candle beams so it’s pretty darn intense. That has a range of about two hundred. And ninety-seven meters. That will run for roughly about. One hour twenty-five minutes give. Or take in the medium of course it’ll run longer there but the output is different it’s three hundred. And forty lumens in the medium range. And in low power it’s a hundred. And seventy lumens and again. All the full tech specs are on the website.

It also has that strobe effect. That can run up to three hours on the strobe effect the light itself is made from aircraft aluminum so it’s nice and robust. It is also shot tested. It is impact resistant from respective going into water. You have an IP X for water resistance on. This particular light. It does come with the relevant hardware so. It will come with a charger unit. That will allow it to charge in the vehicle. You decide you want to also have a charged in the house there is an optional charger to allow. You to run at 110 so really a really cool light of course the model number is a seven five four three two that’s the string light seven five four three two it’s available here on siren net go check. It out so if you’re a burglar breaking into a house the last thing you want is. This coming at you sorry camera crew otherwise I’m Stuart. Many thanks for watching so net television.

You need that everyday carry light for enough lumens to do. All those little tasks. Whether it’s looking under the seat in the car for one of my kids gloves. Or maybe in the back of the garage. Where the lights not quite shining and. You need to look for something it’s their really handy really small compact package really nice and. It worked but it lack is. That 1% albeit crucial 1% of everyday carry light ie. Ineed a light that is gonna throw beam far enough. And be bright enough in the event of concealed carry. Where actually have to identify a threat.

And address that threat to. That end I find the stream light protac 1 l1 double-a to be much better in. That capacity throws a much better beam much brighter. And to the name 1 l1 double-a it’s a dual fuel flashlight. That means is either put my rechargeable doublea’s which is really handy especially. When my kids decide. They want to borrow. This light I don’t know play around in the closet. Something or I can also throw a cr123 battery in there. What that’s going to do for me is give. Me two Max bright settings. One with the double-a being about 150 lumens gonna throw a beam a little over a hundred meters. Or with the cr123 having. That extra power in there it’s going to give. Me 350 lumens and throw a beam about 350 yards. Both of those are great honestly. Iusually the double-a just. That 150 lumens to do fine for me.

And on top of that it’s a lot easier for me to go ahead. And just charge up these batteries continue to swap them out. Than burn through fairly expensive cr123 s. Iget a lot of the stream lights. This has their tint app technology basically. You have this tail cap. You can tap it ten times. And cycle through different modes but way example. This has a strobe setting I don’t really have. Any use for a strobe setting aside from like an impromptu rave but don’t really use. That it’s consequently. Idon’t have that setting turn on. You can also have where there’s the high low being 40 lumens personally. Ithink 40 lumens is a little bit high don’t really need. That much light for most of those kind of 99% of your everyday tasks but it’s there. And burn time for that usually get between 7 & 14 hours depending on what kind of battery speaking of burn time. You have it on the max setting you’re gonna get anywhere from usually the hour.

And a half at the cr123. And depending on the type of double-a battery anywhere from like an hour. And a half to four hours with like a lithium ultimately. Though a lot of features built in. This package and with. That tin tap technology. Ibasically have it on the setting where. Idepress this it’s on full that’s. It there’s no in-between there’s no swapping through settings. Because as every day carry light. Idon’t find it convenient to have to try. And cycle through settings. Ineed a lot of light granted it’s. That 1% time going back to concealed carry but. Idon’t want to mess with. It so consequently I just keep. It on the highest setting all the time as. Imentioned the switch on. This tail cap you depress. It lightly halfway or so it’s gonna turn on press. All the way it’ll click at which point they’ll stay on otherwise.

You can press and get momentary on. And off the way this is pretty much regardless of the pants I’m wearing I’ll have. This clipped in over on my left side my off hand side. And its small enough unobtrusive doesn’t get in the way but it’s always there. It speak to that 1% of the time. You need that everyday carry light then conceal carry depending on the weather. You might not be able to conceal a weapon mounted light at which point. This is going to be invaluable. Both in identifying the threat. And assisting you in dealing with. That potential threat to. That end you are relatively limited with the surefire lights in the number of other lights. They have basically a ring around here which in effect allows. You to hold your weapon here. And pretty easily depress. While maintaining a pretty natural grip. This doesn’t have that in albeit. You can kind of make. What I find usually does a better job. He is just indexing it here being able to point out threats.

Or basically kind of modified here. Where maila create some tension use my weapon light move. It with my pistol as. Ineed too ultimately. It does a pretty good job at night throwing to being far enough illuminating enough to identify those threats. And break those shots. This is 150 lumens with the single double-a at 10 yards. This is 350 lumens with the cr123 at 10 yards the target here is illuminated at 25 yards with a single double-a battery at 150 lumens the targets at 25 yards illuminated with 350 lumens from a single cr123 battery. And here’s the target straight out in front 50 yards illuminated with 150 lumens from a single double a honestly.

This is further I would shoot especially with having a flashlight in my support hand. This is the target illuminated at 50 yards with a single cr123 battery at 350 lumens again further. Iwould comfortably shoot. Another thing I really like about. This flashlight with respect to the design is the clip. It allows me to obviously pretty much every day. And keep this clipped in my pocket but. If I’m out and I’m somewhere. Both hands than biting down on. This thing having it in my mouth about time. You wear a hat I can use the same clip. It onto the bill in my hat which point turn. This guy on I basically have an impromptu headlamp. And headlamps gonna win out. Any day of the week. You actually have a task. That requires both hands. It comes to everyday carry light. This stream light protac 1 l1 double-a has a lot of good stuff going for it especially with. That duel fuel think about traveling abroad overseas who knows. What kind of batteries are available pretty handy being able to throw.

Either a double-a or cr123 in there. If you’re looking for everyday carry light. You pick one up let. It does for your best place. Ifound price-wise amazon can find them for about 38 bucks but as always thanks for joining us at Kipp adhikam look forward to seeing you next time

This is Stephanie with bright guy I’m here today to demonstrate the Streetlight Stinger LED HL flashlight the Streetlight stinger LED HL flashlight is the high lumen model of the Stinger LED family. All the great features. And functionality of a stinger flashlight with an incredible 640 lumen output. And high it measures eight point 401 inches long which is the same size as the traditional Stinger LED flashlight. It has a durable machined aluminum body with a non-slip rubber grip built right in. It has a really nice push-button switch on the body of the light which. You can use to access. All three brightness levels. And strobe press and hold the button from one to access the lower brightness levels. Or click the switch twice fast for a strobe the only difference in the body design between the Stinger LED HL. And the regular stinger LED is right at the top of the light near the lens so. This is the traditional Stinger LED. And it’s got a rubber grip near the lens. This is the HL model. Some heatsink functionality here at the lens instead of the rubber grip the Stinger LED HL comes with a three point six volt rechargeable nickel metal hydride battery that’s good for up to 1000 charges which saves. You a lot of money over traditional batteries the HL model uses the same snap in chargers as the rest of the stinger series so. You have existing stinger Chargers the HL will fit into them the stinger led HL has a very balanced beam pattern with a 974-foot beam range.

One for up to one hour in a high of 640 lumens comparing the HL model to the 350 lumen traditional stinger LED. You can see that the LED HL has a much wider center hotspot with brighter spill light. And then comparing the HL model to the 390 lumen stinger classic LED. You can see that the classic has a much wider diffused beam. Then the HL model thanks for watching today make sure. You visit bright DICOM to view the Streetlight Stinger LED HL. And our full product line of over 500 different types of flashlights.

Sometimes Blood it sets my teeth on edge other times. It helps control the chaos tonight’s the night. And it’s gonna happen again. And again it has to happen. What has to happen is. Another product review today. Ilike to do a product review of a flashlight. That is straight out of Dexter Morgan’s forensic EDC briefcase. This is the stream light five. One zero twin task 3c 9 inch UV flashlights that’s right. This isn’t just any normal flashlight. This is an ultraviolet flashlight. What you saw in the intro was not blood. It was just laundry detergent. Ipicked up using the ultraviolet light so. What I’d like to do for this product review is go over to an overview of the features we’ll also talk a little bit about ultraviolet light. What kind of items glow under ultraviolet light. And we’ll do a some testing of those items. And we’ll talk about the pros. And cons of this flashlight so let’s get started with. This review of the Streetlight twin task ultraviolet flashlight the Streetlight twin task ultraviolet flashlight includes an ultra bright Zeon bulb plus six ultraviolet LEDs for UV detection. It is made of an anodized machine aluminum alloy body. And has enhanced knurled grip similar to the grip. You see on the four sevens quark Mini double a-squared. It has a lens that is advertised as being unbreakable. And scratch resistant. It is a ring sealed. And has a water resistance IPX rating of four which basically protects.

It against splashing water. It comes with the lanyard. It has a limited lifetime warranty. It cost around $40 on amazon com. It is run by three C batteries ultraviolet light is electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength shorter. That of visible light but longer. Then x-rays so within the range of 10 to 400 nanometers the typical eye response to wavelengths from around 390 to 750 nanometers. And a nanometer is one billionth of a meter so very small so. Igot its name basically. Because the spectrum consists of electromagnetic waves with frequencies higher. That of the color violet so then. They call it ultraviolet so. These frequencies are invisible to humans but.

They are visible to a number of insects. And birds they are indirectly visible by causing fluorescent materials to glow with visible light so let’s go over the items. That are visible and glow under ultraviolet light here’s a list of items. That will glow under ultraviolet light in no particular order. You have the US $20 bill different body fluids such as blood urine. And semen antifreeze. They add fluorescent compounds into antifreeze to help detect radiator leaks. You also have the emperor scorpion laundry detergents tooth whiteners postage stamps jellyfish tomato worms cocaine highlighters. Most state driver’s license. And ID’s teeth white paper as. We see here and petroleum jelly so a long list of items. That will glow under ultraviolet light. You may be curious on what makes materials glow under black. Or ultraviolet light so let. Me try to explain, so I’ll draw a little flashlight over here. And then this is the object. That we’re going to be shining the flashlight on so basically a black light gives off a highly energetic ultraviolet light.

You cannot see this part of the spectrum right which is why they call. It a black light so fluorescent substances absorb the ultraviolet light. And then they Rhian. It I’m almost instantaneously but. Some energy gets lost in. This process here so the emitted light has a longer wavelength. Than the absorbed radiation. What makes the light visible. And causes the materials to appear to glow. Most people probably don’t have a need to own an ultraviolet flashlight but here’s a list of people. That would find it very beneficial so forensic investigators similar to Dexter Morgan our favorite blood splatter analyst auto technicians for looking for radiator leaks fraud departments house cleaners. And janitors for places like at hotels. Or maybe adult movie theaters security guards bouncers. This would be a great backup billy club due to the weight of. It scorpion hunters gardeners. And then general neat freaks so overly clean leave people. That want to make sure the bathroom is perfectly clean could use.

And that’s a list of the people. That would find the Streetlight twin task ultraviolet flashlight very useful let’s talk about the bulbs of. This flashlight so this flashlight is operated using a push button to cycle through. All the different modes so. You press it the first time that’s on low mode with ultraviolet setting you have high mode on ultraviolet. And then you have a xenon bulb so with the Z on. You get a run time of five hours. You go back to the low setting you get a hundred. And sixty hours run time with the three LEDs. And then with all six LEDs. You get a run time of a hundred hours so with the Z on bulb. This has an output of 57 lumens so just as a comparison a flashlight like the fenix e05. This house output of 27 lumens so the Z is about twice as much.

And that’s a quick overview of the bulbs let’s go over the size. And weight of the Streetlight twin task ultraviolet flashlight. Now the overall length of the flashlight is nine point zero two inches which is twenty-two point nine. One centimeters so it’s almost exactly nine inches the diameter of the body is. One point two six inches which is three point two centimeters. And the diameter of the head is. One point six eight inches which is four point two seven centimeters. Now the weight of the swatch light with the batteries is almost exactly. One pounds to be exact it’s zero point nine eight nine pounds. Or four hundred and fifty-three point six grams. And that’s almost all battery weights so. This is actually a very nice flashlight. You want to have it as a backup weapon. Because it’s a you know packs a punch. And those are the dimensions. And the weight of the flashlight.

What I’d like to do. Now is gone in the other room. And run through a few test scenarios using the ultraviolet flashlights. And gonna shine some materials. We know should glow under ultraviolet light so let’s get. Any other room and get started let’s test out. How the Streetlight twin task 3c performs with. Some items that are supposed to glow under ultraviolet light the first item. We have is some tide the next item. We have is some antifreeze third that’s right. Some urine it has the fourth item. We have is a $20 bill so let’s turn off the lights. What we find to start off. This test this go with the low setting first.

And then we’ll go to the high setting so. We turned our too low turn off the headlamp. And we’ll shine it on the tide see it’s glowing a nice bright blue let’s move on to the antifreeze so. You get the camera focus it’s bright neon green move on to the urban prep. Or urine not as bright is. And then lastly let’s look at the $20 bill okay. And there’s that neon line. That we’re looking for let’s move on to high setting okay so here’s the tide back over to the antifreeze Bourbon prep rearing and back to the $20 bill so as. You can see the stuff. That is supposed to glow does glow. What I like to do now is test out the 57 lumens beam of the Zeon light we’re gonna shine.

It up against the wall at around Ted feet. And then we’re gonna do a beam comparison of. That flashlight with the 36 lumens of the four sevens quark mini double a squared on medium setting just to give. You a little bit of a beam comparison so let’s turn off the lights. And get started let’s start off first with a stream light twin task as. You can see it has a very centered beam to. It’s not the most evenly circular beam. You could see has a little dimple in. It actually it’s very yellow. It doesn’t really spread. It off she’s highly centered. And focused and let’s compare. Now with the cork mini double a squared. This is a much nicer beam in my opinion it’s.

More a blue in color. Icould put this on 180 lumens but. This is on medium setting right. Now back to the stream link the cork. And here’s the two of them together. That is the beam comparison of the stream light between task versus the cork mini EE squared let’s go over the pros. And cons of the stream light twin task ultraviolet flashlights we’ll start first with the pros so. This flashlight is very durable it’s great construction quality on. It’s made from a reputable manufacturer which. You know it’s not good. Idon’t think the splash it’s gonna break with just normal use on. Ireally like the knurled grip on. It were to get wet though it’s only ipx4 rated.

You know you’re not your hands not gonna slip on. Ido like several modes on. Or a handful of modes. It also gives you the option of having just a normal flashlight as well the lander is a nice feature. Ireally like the strength of the land here it’s a nice length as well. Ireally also enjoy the size of. This thing you know especially. If you’re you know a bouncer. Or a security guard. You need to check someone’s ID. You know I really like. That it’s kind of like a little billy club. Ithink it’s pretty cool. Anything else it has a great warranty on. It so that’s another plus for it. And that’s what I have listed for the pros of. This flashlight now let’s go over the cons of. This flashlight I don’t have too. Many so the number I have with. It is the push button operation. Ireally don’t like. You have to cycle through.

All three modes just to get to the off state so. You go from low mode to high to the xenon bulb. And then to off they had option for once. You did a full press on. They could do a little half presses to cycle through the different modes similar to. What other flashlights. Ihave to offer the next comm. And a half of this flashlight. That it’s kind of heavy for EDC purposes so. Unless you’re a security guard you’re not gonna really want to have. You know tie it on your bill it’s pretty big. And bulky for you know it’d be kind of cool. It came in a real small form-factor similar to the four sevens cork mini double-a squared. Although know that kind of capabilities of the. You know the six LED lights in. This small of a flashlight so that’s not a real con but just. You know you’re not gonna want to carry.

This with all times. Unless you’re in a specific field the third con. Ihad with that the Zeon flashlight. You know it’s kind of the beam it’s not the greatest beam in the world. You know the most of the other flashlights. You have are gonna be better. You know it’s kind of you’re buying this flashlight for the ultraviolet LEDs not really for the Zeon so. And that’s I really have listed for the cons I’m not gonna really knock. It too much for only being ipx4 rated. You know most of the flashlights. Ihave are ipx8 but you’re really not gonna be by too. Many swimming pools with. This ultraviolet flashlight so. Iwon’t hold it against. And that’s I have listed for the cons that’s gonna do. It for this product review of the Streetlight twin task 3c ultraviolet flashlight in summary. This is a very cool.

And unique flashlight to own. Most people probably aren’t. Even ever gonna think. They should have an ultraviolet flashlight but. You have it you’re going to show. It off to all your friends we’ve been taking it out to different people’s houses. And testing out their toilets to see. You know how clean. They really are it’s just kind of fun good thing to show with people so it’d make a great gift for any of your friends. Or family that are real neat freaks. You know they want to make sure. That their house is spotless it’s message would be a cool gift to give them so let’s wrap up. This video of the Streetlight twin task ultraviolet flashlight. You enjoyed watching this product review of the Streetlight twin task ultraviolet flashlight. You decide to pick you will definitely unleash your inner forensic detective please feel free to leave.
