Snowboarding Boot Review – The Best 25

A correctly chosen pair of snowboard boots can be the deciding point between an exciting day on the hill or a disappointing experience.

A perfect fit for a pair of boots should be a tight, stable fit over the top of your foot and around your upper ankle. They must allow comfortable range of motion without pressure points but it’s ok if they will resist when you lean forward. The heel cup of the boot must hold your heel tightly and toe box must have some room inside. Keep in mind that a proper pair of snowboarding socks can define your comfort while trying on boots and riding.

This TOP-list was created to inform you how to buy snowboard boots that are best for your foot and your riding style.

Salomon dialogue review

What’s going on, guys? Jeff Richards. We’re here at Milo Sport in Salt Lake City, Utah. Here I got the 2015 Salomon Dialogue snowboard boot. This is an awesome boot. Its kind of you know your do everything boots somebody that likes to ride the whole mountain maybe someone that goes up every weekend or something there rides a lot. It’s a really good medium flex all-terrain freestyle snowboard boot.

This thing here is packed full of features. Some of the ones I’ve explained to you today are we got the outsole contra grip here so this is a premium outsole really grippy really. Lasts a long time and then it has the EVA foam in between just a reduced weight keep the boob nice and soft there in the outsole.

This also has a premium. Two zone lacing system from Salomon so. You’ve got this one here on the outside that’s gonna do up your whole bottom zone and then you’ve got this here on the top that’ll do up your top zone the Sherlock system just really making it so that you can customize your you know your fitter your boot the way that you like to have it so that’s that’s the awesome shall here for this solid snowboard boot, and then we got the liner which is also a premium Sherlock lacing system here on the liner which is really good, really holds your foot in there well.

Something cool about Salomon that I like that’s pretty unique if they do what’s called the cat’s tongue here on the inside so really premium heel hold. There so you don’t get any heel slip, and then they have what’s a what’s called a cat’s tongue where it almost has a material that goes you know it can go down and then it catches as you go up so it really locks your heels down in there this is an amazing boot like i said.

I’d recommend this boot any riders that you know like to read the whole mountain it’s a really good freestyle boot for those of you electro in part but it also has a nice response for you know. Charging big mountain lines and kind of doing whatever you like to do on the mountain on Salomon scale it is rated a 6 out of a 10 which was kind of that mid flex boot really high in an amazing. It’s available here at my low score in salt lake city and also available on our website at.

Vans HI-Standard Snowboard Boot – Men’s

You won’t always find the best product in the highest price bracket. The minds and feet behind the Vans Hi-Standard Snowboard Boot apparently didn’t feel it was necessary to charge extra for almost 20 years of innovation and time-proven performance. The Hi-Standard meets the standards of the 100-day riders, resort parking lot attendants, and aspiring rippers looking to get their feet wet (not literally, though). The traditional lacing system features double-posted gripping lace hooks that prevent the snowboarding laces from slipping so your boots stay tight from first run to last.

A heat-moldable V1 UltraCush liner gives nailed-in heel hold and the cushy feel of soft interior cushioning foam. An internal web harness keeps your heel locked down for superior response and less fatigue, and a heat-retaining temperature shield that reflects body heat back to your feet for extra warmth without added weight. The V1 UltraCush footbed features high-rebound impact relief pads at both the forefoot and heel to absorb harsh impacts and smooth out vibrations in choppy terrain. It’s finished off with a Reverse Waffle outsole that’s made with EVA to reduce weight while improving cushioning, and strategically-placed rubber in the most high-wear area ensures long-lasting durability and traction.

What’s up this is Jordan with Tactics. Right now you were checking on all new boot for 2019 this is the advanced high standard liner list dx as you can see on. The outside of the boot traditional laces up the front features a soft flex rating and it’s going to be geared towards your intermediate to advanced level rider who was looking for a soft and forgiving boot to ride the park in on the outside of the boot it features a power cuff strap on the top right here it allows you to really crank that thing down and get your calf planted in the top of the boot on the outsole of the boot it features a reverse waffle outsole really grippy pattern on here.

Just gonna allow this boot to be you know really good to hike around you know in the back country set up a street spot you’re not going to worry about slipping around in these boots as the name suggests it doesn’t feature a liner so pretty unique construction on this boot it’s just gonna allow it to feel really natural not like a bulky snowboard boot so you’re gonna have a lot of freedom in this thing.

You’ve probably seen my crab rocking these things but these are going to be a definite freestyle boot with a lot of flexibility to tweak grabs and press and slide rails if you have any. More questions or comments make sure to drop those in the box below or check these boots out at tactical

What’s up this is Jordan with tactics right now you were checking out the 2019 high standard pro boot from vans this is a team favorite in the vans line that features a five to six flex rating it’s a very versatile boot and is great for any level rider you know it’s gonna be great for someone who likes to ride strictly the resort but it’s a good boot to take in the streets as well like i said it features a five to six flex rating and has traditional laces up the front so you can really dial in your fit it does feature this nice strap here on. The tongue of the boot which is velcro. And you just cinch that down and you just hugs your calf back in the boot and really plants your heel in the back of the boot just not going to get heel lift it does feature vans v2 waffle flex. Outsold so a rubber and evi a hybrid. It’s gonna allow the boot to be really lightweight but still pack a ton of grip thanks to the tread pattern on it this boot features a v2 ultra cush liner. Which is heat moldable so get that heat molded and get your fit even more dialed i’ve ridden this boot a couple times and. It’s just basic standard boot nice traditional laces up the front can’t go wrong with it really good in the park but also great all-mountain if you have any more questions or comments make sure to drop those in the box below or check this boot out at tactics calm.

What’s up this is Jordan with tactics right now you were checking out the 2019 high standard oh gee this boot features. A medium to soft flex and is gonna be a great option for any level of rider primarily freestyle oriented this boot. Is definitely something that’s going to perform really well in the park but i wouldn’t be afraid to take this thing across the whole mountain take a look at the outside of the boot it features traditional laces up the front for a tried-and-true fit and also vans instep lace lockout system which are these two eyelets on the outside of the boot and on the inside what this system does is. Allows you when you tighten down the laces it just gets really secure on your foot and you’re not gonna have to worry about heel lifts or having the laces loosen up throughout the day taking a look at the outsole the boot it features a v1 waffle outsole so really grippy tread pattern on this boot not gonna have to worry about slipping around your hiking around on the parking lot streets stuff like that just looking at. The outside of this boot it features a really traditional look you know kind of vans classic vans skate shoe style on. The outside with this kind of extruded foxing tape just really classic looking. Boot from vans the liner of the boot is a v1 ultra push liner so it’s going to be heat moldable so get this thing heat molded just dial in your fit even more the shell the boot features a v1 liner. Harness so pretty standard liner harness. On here cinch this cable down and just get the liner planted back in the heel of the boot for a really nice secure fit but like i said before the high standard. Og is something that any level of a rider can hop in from beginner all the way up to advanced the soft flex rating is really gonna benefit beginners and the overall flexibility and just kind of. Added range of motion this boot provides is really gonna benefit you know more advanced freestyle riders who are riding in the park if you have any more questions or comments make sure to drop those in the box below or check out the high standard odia tactics calm. You

This is the new 2015 bands by standard. Really iconic model from bands I’ve been. In the line for a long time extremely comfortable all-mountain freestyle kind. Of park orientated who uses a soft and. Flexible flex and also a traditional. Lace so you can really customize the. Flex of this boot Trina thermal liner is. A dual density liner it is heat moldable. Now we can do that for you in store if you want to come by or if you’re buying. These online the boot liner. Will mold to your foot after a day or two anyway so it’ll be nice and comfortable also uses a classic light. Outsold which is injection molded which is extremely light and also uses the. Waffle grip classic vans waffle grip underneath otra cosa footbed anti-odor. And also again uses gl density eba so. That will just give you loads of arch support and also give you a ton of shock. Absorption on heavy landings great for. All abilities this it’s a really good bet for people are starting out or like. Likewise, if you’re kind of bit more. Seasoned you want a really good boot for jib on this is gonna be excellent not so. Great for free riders or more aggressive. Kind of styles this is going to probably be a bit too soft for you that’s the all. New 2015 vans high standard. I’m.

Here I’ve got the 2016 bands high standard boot this is a rad all-mountain. Freestyle boot it’s quite soft and quite flexible uses traditional laces so quick. Easy juice for pressure points and i. Think a lot of people get them really well with these this is actually the traditional lace version of their encore boot which is really popular and if you’ve ridden that before and you fancied something a little bit different this could be a really great option for you it uses a v2 ultra cush light footbed. This is a dual density footbed and it’s. Got relief pads under the forefoot and under the heel so that’s going to help if you come down off of a big heavy hit. It’s going to help take some of that out and just soften the blow it’s got a 3d. Molded anatomical shape as well so that’s going to give you a more comfortable fit distribute your weight better but it’s also going to keep your foot nice and supported in there as well it’s got the tri fit x liner so this is. The liner in here this has dual density heat moldable foam now if you want to. Heat mold that install we can pop she pop by we can do that for you it also has ultra cushioning layer inside as. Well so it gives even more comfort and a more tailored fit it also has an asymmetric x cage so it’s structured to. Give you more support in one direction and the other inside and that’s really going to lock your heel in and keep it in place as well vans use their classic light out of soreness here you can see it the injection molded ultra cush and special. Rubber compound that makes this so lightweight durable and incredibly comfortable this is pretty much great for any rider you can’t really go wrong if you’re looking for something great for freestyle or just cruising all mountain you get really well with this boot probably won’t recommend it for free ride but other than that can’t say a bad word about it this is the vans high standard for 2016. Yeah.

Hello I’m matt guff from the house calm and these are my boots these are the. Manors high standard and all on freestyle boot that’s a little bit softer than average i believe vans rates them it has a three on the flex rating scale but I’d say they’re about four I’ve got about 40 days on these things. And they’re holding up really well they have a synthetic upper of. Course nice of a pleasure cuff on back that isn’t harsh on the back of your calf and a traditional laces what didn’t. Like about the lacing system that was like this kind of independent ice day that allows you foods to have like separate tensions in upper and lower. Zones and they’re actually really lightweight and that’s because of that. Classic light source it onto a coach kind of material there’s a little bit of rubber there for that for the high abrasion area and the rest is pretty. Much just that kind of ultra light material have a little bit of wear in that heal in a lateral heel area but. Other than that these things are holding up really well the synthetic upper looks. Like damn, you’re brand-new still enough I’ve rolled these things a lot inside of. This is gonna be like a webbing harness for that try fit x line or not this is a. Dual density liner there’s a custom heat. Foldable and has a nice little like mid step support which is really good it doesn’t allow your foot to get cramping right out of the box which is really nice isn’t there’s that like kind of foam x support around your ankles or. Didn’t like a body is that the upper section of the liner seems to be just a little bit softer but there’s still enough supporting your mako so like you’re not gonna blow out your ankle if you get crazy but you can still tweak out your tricks pretty hard and then there’s that neoprene toe box and a wool light bottom inside of the tribe phoenix. It is going to be a v2 ultra cushion. Footed it’s a dual density has a little bit of extra padding in the heel and the ball your foot area nice 8r support to this is the vans high. Standard this is my boot they look pretty much brand-new for having about 40 days on them make sure to check them out at the house.

Hello I’m matt guf mouska and this is a. Fair of 2019 vans high standard pro. Boots this is a boot that is it kind of came to be from the v66 it’s one of a. Couple of boots within the vans line that’s part of the high standard series. And collection they have the pro for the kenai the top end they have the og for everyone else in between and then for those really young gp kids they have the line of this dx but this is the pro this. Is a team favorite it’s design driven by innovation of course function, and they’re actually really comfortable there for almost restyle use you can. Ride side country you ride groomers and be in the parks and you can really fall in love with these things or heat multiple and for anyone for basically intermediate to advanced level and ability because of the flex rating now I’d say they’re a. Little bit stiffer than your average but of course they’ll break in but you’ll probably give them out of five six style feel but then a couple of things that. Make them feel and be a little bit more. Supportive and of course more responsive now this is a traditional lace style. Boot you can actually separate the lower and upper zone style attentions with the. Tongue tension system that you find on this kind of 3d shape full flexing tongue a cool part about this tonga it. Has features are a tongue lock down too. So on the inside of the tongue there’s a. Little loop so when you tighten that mid step that actually forces the tongues. Mid step section or in stuff into that. Heel area to lock your heels into the heel pocket now that’s a big one big problem that a lot of stores get to a toe side edge we’re getting heel lift bands combats that with that heel or. Lock down style system there’s no really like flex notches in the boot, but they. Did have a nice little plush style or pleasure cuff well on that backside so there’s not like a harsh bite but there still is a good amount of support with those double back stays another great thing about the boot is the power strap. You’ll see that across the front of the. Tongue now the one great thing about or another good thing about the design of this power strap is that you don’t have to wear it on outside of your boot you can actually just wear on the inside across the front. Of the liner or you could just cut it off if you like — i didn’t tend to like my boots to be super tight up on top so. When i ride the g or the pro i actually. Put it all on the top side you know I’d like to have this lower section kind of loose for better circulation with my feet another cool thing about the boot. Is actually the heat retention layer they’ve actually updated it for this year to actually encapsulate the toe box. So not only is the key potentially under your feet but it’s also around your toes that keeps the heat inside and the cold outside the tongue is great you know like i said it has a kind of 3d style shape it’s little bit firmer style flexing has a nice little pull tab for pulling them on and off and then there’s of course internal gussets but the. Fabric on this colorway is pretty cool it’s kinda like a i think this is actually genuine leather i don’t think this is a synthetic leather there’s a. Blue stick style a nylon of course um i think the black colorway it just has like a synthetic sound material on the outside instead of this what i think is actually you learn and then of course is the mid in the outsole this is what’s. Called the v2 waffle flex outsole it has. Auto code auto cushion the mid step so it absorbs lots of impact but it still. Has rubber in those high abrasion areas with a inverse waffle style of saw tread. So you can still grip around but for the most part they actually kind of reduce the amount of rubber in the boot keep it just a little bit more lightweight inside this bad boy is a v2 style. Harness now the harness system which is kind of hard to see here actually wraps. Around the v2 liner but you know it does. Have a lock down system so it’s not going. To become loose and there’s a nice little loop in there to get those to those hard-to-reach section but then v2 harness wraps wrong you know this v2 ultra cush liner this is a dual density liner it has internal j-bars it’s heat moldable has a pleasure cuff along the topside for better comfort the comfort flex style toe box so you know you’ve. Land deep in the basement you’re not gonna blow out your boots there’s a little comfort notch to keep the pressure distributed across the top of your foot with your ankush up and then there’s this ex cage. Now this ex cage is kind of cool because you can kind of adjust where you want it. To be if you have a little weird pressure points inside so this actually stiff in the boot up just slightly but if you want to take it off to make it boot just a little bit a more little bit softer because you’re going to be in the park you can actually definitely do that and then of course there’s gonna be yes this is a v2 footbed it’s a dual. Density eba has a moisture wicking style. Top it’s ultra cool style material it. Has a little bit of a heel and arch support there to quite a bit more it feels a little firmer and then what you find in the v1 but this is a really. Cool kind like series of boots from bands within the high standard they have. Like again the lioness og that or the. Line on this dx the high standard oh gee. And then of course there’s the high standard pro this is kind of the top end of the high standard series that was once the v66 you can change the comfort. And how it feels there’s a team favorite again driven by innovation and of course function make sure checking off the house comm i select the link below in the description leave a comment or question let me know what do you think of this thing here also let me know how many times i said a cool part about this. I always tend to say that garbage and. More there check it more if it’s there hopefully see you guys.

What’s up everyone? This is Straitjacket Technology from Solomon. Straight jacket technology is a fit feature. We utilize it on our boots to ensure that your foot does not lift or slide around throughout your snowboard day.

The way that it works is with this handle lace and lock and this harness. Right here all you have to do to get in or out of the boot is brought it to the toe lift up on this harness step right. In then when you want to tighten the boot down make sure the harness is lined up. Pull up, slide it to the back this clip will holster it right here on the side of the boot to complete the lacing process just finish closing up the outside of the boot that’s straight jacket technology you can find it at your favorite retailer.

Hello I’m matt guff from house comm and this is jesse paul i know jesse good good jesse ah is a professional. Snowboarder you could pay to snowboard how does that feel i get paid to snowboard it feels pretty. Great it feels pretty good okay and when. You ride these boots users of salomon high fives yeah i know someone makes a lot of great boots and the people out there who are watching channel who rides Solomon product whether it be boar boots or bindings know that everything they make is really good the boot. Marketplace is tough making boots is really different anybody can make me lord but not very many can make a boot. That is designed well fits well and performs well and Solomon is one of very few companies that do that with their boots why do you ride the high. Five i rather high five because it’s. It’s a boot that is loaded with all the. Feature or all the features it’s definitely on the higher end and it’ll. It lasts crazy long longest lasting boot. I’ve ever had but it is on the looser. Side okay and I’m a big fan of having. Looser boots i hate stiff boots i hate new boots. Absolutely i hate stiff boots i can’t stand them like hard fact yeah and these. Are high-performance boots that aren’t stiff which sometimes high performance. Is stiff it means stiff exactly and. So this is a beautiful complement to. Both if you want a really good boot but you don’t necessarily want it to be rock hard which is where i am this is. The boot awesome now it has a kind of. Lovely traditional lace but it’s not this is Solomon’s kind of proprietary speed or. Lacing style system yeah how does this work it looks like there’s an upper and lower zone yeah, so we so. You know you’re in there and i typically. Tighten up the bottom first which is on. This side okay and you just pull it and then you know pull that back and that’s locked in and you get it locked in right. There and then this one you pull that tight. And this has got a nifty little like the side locking mechanism thing there which. Actually holds super well and that’s it. Just to pulse and you’re laced up it’s the quickest quick click this fast. System I’ve ever had and taking them off. Is even better you just you know like. Just go like this boom that’s released. And then you undo that and then you’re. Out of their so but it being super easy yeah it kind of looks to like these lace. Loops if you didn’t want to use the speed lace system oh yeah you can cut them out and put traditional laces in if you wanted yeah you totally could right and i like the shell panels along the side has like this kind of rubberized toe box just does this help to help for. Your toe strap to stay on your toes more. Why do you think it’s rubberized so much wrong in that front side well i think there’s a couple reasons first of all it. Definitely helps with waterproofing right you know that’s one of the places. That’s gonna be exposed to all the snow on the front of your board and my toes. Never get wet it’s a little bit stiffer. Than just having fabric along this whole. Area and i think that helps partially with torsional flex and really getting. The crank on the toe strap right and yeah also the grippy rubber i think each. Part of holding the toe strap off you know i never have problems with my toe strap falling off or anything like that it’s alright now do you ever like if you ever find yourself would be like in a street spot like trying to kick out snow does this just help kind of like i think yeah actually i you know you can kick. Pretty hard with these things and you’re not like smashing your toe which is actually really nice and strange situations like when you’re trying to kick snow otherwise alright yeah you’re right though like you said it perfectly a lot of people make that connection with like usually most high-end or. Expensive snowboard boots tend to be really stiff but this is just a kind of higher price point but a little bit softer you could be a jibber you could write you know surf pal. Maybe want a loose kind of server feeling they have forgiven me shall panelist i like how they had like these independent ice stays and wrap over the top that has articulation that said yeah upper lower zones that articulation i think huge. Reason why it has that softer feel which. I really appreciate like when I’m when I’m tweaking or you know just getting my. Too 70s like all these crazy technical. Rail tricks the fact that i can bend over and there’s that separate articulation even i mean when it’s tighten but still i think it just allows for a more intuitive feel the boots oh right and you were kind of seen to that they last for a long time you know they’re what’s crazy about actually this. If for those who can’t see it’s basically see-through right here this is what the liner out but this is like a. Plasticy rubbery plasticky material and. It flexes the exact same from the day. You get it 200 days later i swear like i. Mean breaking it in obviously breaking. In any boots the first couple days is gonna be pretty stiff but once it’s. Broken in it doesn’t change the flex it doesn’t deteriorate because it’s this hard plastic and that helps to make it. Last so long it’s crazy cuz that doesn’t you know it’s not like fabric that’s gonna start ripping at the seams and this is the part that’s flexing the most rights just solid now under foot. It has a good amount of feels likes a. Couple different barometer ratings of the chemic or like i suppose this is like rubber and this is kind like a soft foam stout gel this is how does it feel like it wouldn’t absorb impact along. With the bindings you know foot beds yeah it’s insane i can jump off a building like. Really i have a problem with landing. Really heavy footed okay and in the past. I have kind of gotten heel bruises but. With the combo of these boots and the in the new padding on the district bindings it is so cushy but it’s not it’s its. Cushy but it’s not mushy you know i sit still you feel solid and i don’t feel like it’s so soft that I’m. Moving all over the place where it’s gots just the different densities of. Foam like you said it’s a little bit a little bit harder and then it’s a little softer on the bottom it just all compresses in a really comfortable way it’s like walking on clouds right now another thing too is. Like these liners here this looks. Like a really high-tech liner and then you notice like the air hole ventilation they actually had that integrated into the shell too so you get a little bit more breath ability with this liner do. You like it to have the integrated liner. Lacing system what do you think of this thing yeah i mean i think it’s its it. Works perfectly it does its job well you know i don’t think about it too much just because it’s the liner but i tighten it down super easy and good ever comes undone i definitely feel like it. Really grabs around my whole foot which. You know the separate material connected to the laces throughout the whole thing you know it really grabs you down and it’s its super. Comfortable so i got it does you attend to your heel area do you feel like you have. Like a narrow heel of wider heel or do you ever get heel lifts with the high fives um i have always kind of. Had problem with heel lifts in any boot that I’ve tried and i get just a tiny. But but actually when i first got. Started riding these boots i put some inserts in to mitigate the heel lift. Right but i realized that i actually prefer to have a little just like a. Little bit of heel lip okay because i think it helps with just the i like to. Have my feet kind of looser and be able to move around a little bit okay and. So yeah i mean i get a tiny bit but i actually prefer it it’s its hard to. It’s a lot of boots have you get a. Little heel lift yeah but you know like it’s a problem when you go on your toe side edge and then like your heels three inches off yeah you don’t want that there’s a little bit that’s that’s pretty common yes and it’s not like i said it’s its preferable to me and it’s. It’s yeah I’m not getting I’m not lifting up an inch by foot isn’t coming out of my food it doesn’t feel like that at all but it just feels like i can move around a little bit inside the boot which it’s. Just for me it helps for like tweaking. Things and even when i land specifically when i land really hard you. Now my feet are in a weird position my. Foot can kind of like flex a little bit and when i didn’t have the inserts to have my heel lock down there were some times that i would land in like this really weird position and it would i would like crank on my heel i was like. Oh actually maybe i want that to move a little bit so that’s that’s my relationship that know when you take new liner and your exterior laces you tend to have them super tight kind. Of loser how do you like to separate the pressure yeah i like to have the liner. As tight as it can be without cutting off circulation yeah so just get that. Really lock down and then the boots i. Pull tight enough where I’m pulling with. Pressure but I’m not like yanking on it because it is can cut off circulation. With that as well but then you know i really tightened down this bottom one and then this one i give less of a you. No less of a pull still get it tight rights but i like just a tiny bit of play there as well which also helps with just a little bit looser feel right especially on my back foot the leg that. I broke i like to have it is a little. But more flexible and back so i actually am even a little looser on my back foot i don’t like it i don’t like it being all restricted back there it’s. Funny you mention that and yeah it all comes down to personal preference i feel like a loser Brittany laughs one of our. Other guys aren’t on it on the team he likes super stud boots and super strict bindings of my huh which is totally weird to me like yeah that cranks on them and yet like one of the stiffest boots out there for riding street and. For view wow yeah i know I’ve talked to people who. Are like i love really stiff. Boots or they’re like all the first couple days that you have a boot and I’m like oh my god i hate riding new routes. So much that the boots that i broke my. Leg that had dried up blood in them i rode. Those for like a couple months before i. Moved to these is because i was dreading breaking in the new book so that’s how. Strong i feel about that yeah i wish i. Could i wish somebody could break in my boots for me do you do anything specific to break your boots in you have trouble with your card i don’t do that. But i pretty much throw them on the ground and stomp on them as hard as i. Can just like smash smash my. Feet just and i you now and then i do. This sometimes I’d like get into the parts that i feel like okay that’s kind of stiff part you know like go inch by inch and really try to like just get. Things moving a little bit but i mean nothing replaces actually just. Riding him for a couple days but that’s usually before i put him on I’ll do that just try to you know beat him up a little bit right and then uh this footbed is this the footbed that. Comes in the boots yep so it’s like common different densities worth of light airs tell me about the footbed here yeah well i know that’s antimicrobial so it can help a little bit with you know bacteria and it’s not. So bad and yeah it’s its actually. They’ve improved these over the years and it’s super comfortable so comfortable that i actually had some extra inserts that i would wear in other. Boots but i put them in these and i. Was like actually i like the ones that just came with the boots, and so they’re. They’ve even got like a little bit of memory foam miss to them so yeah they’re. Really great super comfortable it adds. To the whole cushioning of everything from the bindings all the way up to your foot so good now who’d you see the hi-fi’s canna. Built for what kind of what kind of rider what kind of skill yeah so i would. Say it’s definitely built for first of all for somebody who doesn’t like to buy. Boots often it will last you a very long. Time and somebody who likes. The softer boot like it definitely is a softer boot and there are people that don’t like this boot because it’s too soft for them it’s absolutely perfect for me because i. Don’t have to ride a low-end boot to get. The flex that i want right um but you know if you’re if you’re a person who really likes rigidity out of their boots these simply aren’t for you but if you. Like some flex but still like a really solid boot unbelievably comfortable in. One that’ll last long time because that’s another thing there’s a lot of times the softer boots be kind of they’re soft because they deteriorate, and they get softer and softer and softer this they’re soft, and then they. Just they stay like soft, but they’re not gonna their not gonna crumble into dust right so yeah that’s that’s. What i would say you like to tweak you like to have my ankle mobility i like to. Have my ankles move around when I’m on a snowboard i know some people you know just like to move kind of from the boots up right I’m more of an ankle guy yep. Yeah that’s right that’s sweet well jesse thanks for being here man of course yeah thank you guys for watching leave any comments or questions let us know what you think of the salomon high five boots i love the concept of a high end. Boot that’s softer and flex because just like you said like a lot of soft boots tend to be like entry price point and. They don’t wear as long so definitely. Check out the high fives subscribe the channel over here if you haven’t done that check out more vids over there hopefully we’ll see you guys on snow.

SnoPlanks Asym Fish Snowboard – Men’s

Based out of Oregon, SnoPlanks have been making quite the name for themselves in the board-building world lately, and the Asym Fish Snowboard is an excellent example of why that may be. With a design inspired by surfboard shapers, the Asym Fish uses a medium flex and huge rockered nose and swallowtail to plane over and surf through the deepest pow.

Beyond surfability, the unique outline utilizes varying edge lengths and sidecuts to assist in turn initiations and hold. On the toe side, the longer edge towards the tail and nose give more edgehold on long drawn-out bottom turns, which puts more force and speed into your heelside turns without any effort thanks to the deeper sidecut and shorter contact points. Essentially, all of that means that while this board truly thrives on deep powder days, the fun shape allows for aggressive bottom turns and powerful pop off side hits and windlips when there hasn’t been much new snow lately. A large rockered nose plows over thigh-deep snow without skipping a beat, while the medium flex, poppy core, and sintered base keep you charging with confidence over choppy or hardpack conditions.

  • Asym swallowtail powder board racking up acclaim;
  • Large, rockered nose with swallowtail surfs through deep snow;
  • Medium flex keeps the feel lively underfoot;
  • Carbon and bamboo core offers powerful response;
  • Sintered base maintains high speeds through slow conditions;

  • Item #SNV0004.

Actually rated radical shapers choice all the shapers from the other brands were super hyped on this board.

It’s just a unique board and the way that it flows and transitions from toe. Side to heel side it’s got a great powder nose on it not too much taper to the tail it’s. Still got a pretty wide tail so you can really carve on this board it’s not gonna wash out it really wants to drive through turns and especially on that toe. Whoa hello I’m at custom house calm and. This is a 2017 aroma powder division. Pigtail snowboard pow deck design for inter me to advanced level riders this is a cool shape a board has an awesome profile in a directional style appeal. Without setback stance of 30 millimeters this is for riding pow and has a little. Bit of a taper of 16 mils and nice little. Pin tail that drops in the deep snow it keeps that big nose of float it has a cool profile shape called powder s rucker but basically the back half of. The board is cambered it’s nice because you can like step on that camera it kind of lifts up the nodes just a little bit more the front half the board has a 3d. Rockered style shape that definitely stays above deep snow but the cool part. About this shape is that the nose really. Doesn’t rock up too drastically has a nice gradual kind of 3d arc to it now. Surprisingly enough the powder of powder. Division pintail will have a feel and flex rating of a 5 but the nose as something that keeps it nice and stable it’s actually a turbo rod it’s a single. Barrel of carbon that starts near the contact point and went straight down the middle of the board that gives the board’s no just a little bit more structure so doesn’t like flop around a bunch inside as you can see the top is a. Popular style wood core with by axe fiberglass it’s said to be that the bias. Glass actually has carbon on it as well or in a woven in it but i don’t see it on the top so let’s just be on the bottom speaking the bottom we have a. Wintered true base this is a base that’s extremely fast i believe it’s a factor who acts by when wax works but you want. To make sure you keep it well maintained seasoned by waxing it up lastly is a 260. Rep standard steel edge with a radial side cut um this is a rad style board if. You’re looking for a power deck to get down and dirty on you can check this one out this is the rome pottery division pintail snowboard you can see it at the. House calm thanks for watching leave a comment or a question below and remember to subscribe to the house board shop youtube channel right now.

Hello I’m matt guff from the house come in this is a 2017 in rome powder. Division moon tail so board this is a. Powder deck designed for intermediate to advanced level riders that want to get into some deep snow it’s part of the deep collection features a two-year warranty and a factory wax by wend waxworks there’re three boards within the. Powder division line for 2017 from rome they have swallowtail with the moon to help this one they also have a pintail this is kind of cross between the. Swallow tail and the pin tail it’s a. Combination and i say that because you can still ride into some really tricky tight spots like trees you can still put. This thing in wide open spaces and send it like a bullet does feature a flexion feel rating of about a 5 and yeah again. Directional style shape stands to setback 3 centimeters of 30 millimeters and it features a really cool profile shape great for powder riding color the powder s 3d profile basically need that. Back half of the board is camber the. Front half of the board is a 3d rocker. I’m meaning that those rails have been kind of like raised up so it’s a catch free ride of course but it also like just floats across the top snow i like. This shape too because it doesn’t have like a really harsh like rock up to it’s actually really smooth it’s designed if you don’t keep that tail down but keep that no just kind of floating above the top of snow there’s a. Great board really yes it’s fun to ride ki riding on the hardpack yeah you can. But it’s a powder stabbed board how does it ride on hardpack well there’s camera enough wondering that back foot which helps you to like really grip down but that no one’s gonna. Feel a little bit you know a little bit surfeit because of that 3d rockered. Styled shape and features are pop wood core poplar matrix wood core that’s wrapped in a straight by axe glass but. It also has a carbon that runs at 90 degrees from tip to tail i give it a little bit more strength and pop also features a turbo rod in the nose a big. Sweeping style noses tend of course when. You go in fast and pow to kind of like the turbo rod is a glass or. Carbine barrel that basically run independent of each of itself starts at the contact point that runs right down. Through the center of those insert packs that barrel actually hollow has a carbon. Rod that runs kind of with inside itself this is a great riding board of course it’s gonna be ultra fast if you keep it latched up this is a wintered true style. Base again it’s been factored you asked by one ball j so let me get it to your house you know put your bindings on people take a rip there’s a 360 wraps standard. Steel ledge this is a cool deck again it’s kind of hybrid between a swallowtail and the pintail from the powder division. This is called the moon tail you can check it out at the house calm thanks. For watching leave a comment or question below and remember to subscribe to the channel.

Hello I’m matt guff from house kahneman. This is a room powder division swallowtail snowboard it’s designed for powder riding for those intermediate to advanced level riders the swallowtail is actually one of my top flung shaped boards of 2016 and 17 it’s a directional. Shaped board that you can ride anywhere but really excels in the powder it has a set back stance of 16 millimeters this. Tail kicked around really fast there’s basically cambered underneath the front foot all the way to the tail contact point the profile shape is called powder s3d just outside that. Front insert pack the board will start to like gradually rocker up but as you. See it really doesn’t rocker up too much but it does have a 3d profile to it on the nose meaning that you can really float over the top of the powder not billow through the center of it with. That it’s gonna be a pretty average fluctuating of 5 so not too stiff not. Too soft, and they do that with a popcorn matrix wood cork as a poplar wood core. Finger jointed you can’t see that through the top sheet near and then it’s been wrapped in the by ak style fiberglass the only other additional laminate that the swallowtail has is a. Turtle rot it’s one single rod that’s actually in the nose or the board it’s gonna be kind of mailed out in the center of the board from the contact or the insert packs to the contact points and makes the board’s nose just a little bit more stable it’s not as chattery but. It doesn’t cause a lot of torsional stiffening another cool thing about the. Swallow tail though is the overall shaping to a church order sure it’s a little bit wider but how it rides is pretty unique with the radial side cut and that’s what really stands out for me for this deck is that instead of because. Of the unique shape instead of actually bringing the contact point of the radio side cut like a knife back a lot towards. Like your front foot it’s actually still way up here so when you’re riding on you. No hard packing groomers you’re not like you know flipping around and washing out a bunch you still have like. Direct contact pretty much with this almost entire edge in combination. Of course with that camera that you find underneath your front foot to the tail it still provides a lot of stability there’s a center true base is a basin. Absorbs tons of lacks ultra-fast and then a standard 360 wraps steel edge. This is a really rad board it’s called. The roma putter division a swallowtail a. Board that you can check out the house comm make sure you subscribe to the channel check out some more videos that we have feel free to leave a comment below and thanks for watching I’ll see you guys I’m hill.

Burton Imperial Snowboard Boot – Men’s

Assert regal authority over an alpine kingdom of fresh glades, stacked pillows, and steep chutes with the Burton Imperial Snowboard Boot. Fine-tuned with a highly responsive flex, the Imperial offers the stability and precise board control desired for charging down intimidating faces and tight tree runs. Taking design cues from Burton’s top-flight SLX Boot, the Imperial’s S4 shell panels resist breakdown for a consistent flex throughout the course of the season.

The Imprint 3 liner maintains high levels of support, ensuring a dialed fit from first chair ’til last. This thermo-moldable liner offers a truly custom fit by conforming to the shape of your foot for superb comfort. The Focus Cuff hugs the sweet spot around your ankle, preventing dreaded heel lift from sapping energy transmission to your board. For lasting freshness, the Aegis antimicrobial finish prevents the growth of funky microbes after long days on the mountain.

Looking to the boot’s midsole, EST Optimized tech provides a low-profile feel for increased sensory feedback when you’re driving into carves and blasting off natural drops. To compensate for the thinner midsole, B3 gel cushioning soaks up heavy landings and excess vibration from fatiguing your lower body. And because it’s meant for off-piste exploration, the Vibram EcoStep sole features rubber Ice Spikes for sure-footed grip across sketchy snow and treacherous terrain.

What happens contacted sports shop right. Here looking at the 2017 imperial. Snowboard boot from burton snowboards this one is going to be really similar to that ruler we looked at it’s gonna be kind of little bit beefed up a little. But stiffer of a boot as well it’s still. Gonna feature that speed lacing system with that nice new england ropes these ropes right here are pretty much indestructible lifetime warranty on these guys so if you manage to just catch it weird and somehow break it burton will take care of you a cool. Think about this speed lacing system is for one it does kind of like dual zone. So this is right here it’s gonna just the top part of the boot and the other side is gonna adjust the bottom so if. You are riding and you’re like ah man it’s a little loose right there you can just adjust that part without having to take off the whole boot completely unlace it and worry about kind of like. Readjusting like you do with traditional laces another thing i like about this one is when you are taking the boot off. And you pull this part down it makes like a clicking noise just so you can fully tell that it is released and you know you can pull this out pull the tongue out get your foot in there a really nice feature i liken that with other speed lacing boots I’ve had it doesn’t have that and sometimes you think it’s done you go to pull your foot out and you’re still kind of trapped in their i know just a personal preference thing and then the most important thing. With boots for me which this boot has is. Kind of this inner heel harness right here so this is what is gonna be it’s. Gonna be your biggest friend as far as getting rid of heel lifts so if you’ve been riding and your boots remove too big or maybe your boots were just too worn out and you’re getting a lot of heels lift having this inner harness in your boot is really gonna keep that foot down keep your heel locked and loaded keep your ankles nice and supported and this one especially like this thing is. Really long it goes all the way down to the bottom it’s even got like this little fuzzy extra grip right there just to keep that liner down there hold really tight really cool heel. Harness on that guy it also has a vibrant rubber on the bottom so really grippy really durable gonna be great for walking around a parking lot it’s great for hiking when it’s icy good first note. Will be linked to if you do like to ride a sled around a lot of just like the evie a foam on the bottom of boots can just get eaten up by those pegs this rubber is gonna be nice and strong really durable there now this one is gonna feature the imprint three liners so really soft. Really kind of like a little bit stiffer of a liner most liners don’t have a lot. Of structure to them this one right here has got kind of nice like stiffness to. It so I’m gonna give you some added support little added durability and. Stability they’re not gonna pack out too much and then also it’s got this kind of like messy little material that’s gonna do is just kind of like wick moisture wick sweat you know when your feet get sweaty or your boots get wet that’s kind of what’s gonna get your sock wagging your feet cold this is just gonna keep that moisture away just to keep you a little bit warmer got a nice little. Articulating cuff right there just to keep your Achilles nice and locked in give you good support not getting he listen again you know that’s pretty much. It for the imperial you know really good really durable boot great for all mountain riding great for aggressive riding nice stiff tongue nice stiff back. Really great solid do you have any. Questions about this boots or any of the other burton boots feel free to drop a comment the box below or check out the specs on tactics calm.

Hi I’m miked and I’m here to show you the. Imperial boot new for 2011 so on the. Imperial boot we have an esd optimized. Soul which is just a thinner ev a foam soul that give you better feel to your board and also this boot comes with a. Veeram rubber technology that’s just better for hiking and there’s also b3. Gel throughout the bottom of the sole just giving you a cushy feel on the side. Panel we have the s4 shell technology. Which is just to make your she’ll last longer and not break in and then go into. The lacing system we have the latest. Protector on the bottom so you’re not cutting your lace with your board edge then you also have dual zone lacing. Taking on each side, and then we have a pool top for easy release to get out of your boot the imperial boot from 2011. Has an ev a key moldable liner that. Comes with the rad pad to stop your. License from bunching up on the inside and also has aegis antimicrobial coating. So you feed them fit all stinky so that was the imperial boot for 2011 coming in. At 279 95 and it is the new boot. You.

Hi I’m jenna this is the bergen imperial boot this woods great for your advanced. Aggressive all-mountain freestyle rider who’s looking for a lot of performance and a lot of features out of their boot so to start off let’s talk about the liner that’s in this boot what we have here is the imprint three liners which is. Fully heat moldable so you can take it into your shop and of course mold it to your foot which gives you a very customized fit as well as keeps your feet very comfortable throughout your day writing that’s what we’ve got on. This is we’ve got these what’s called rad pads so right under here there’s. Some kind of rubber pieces that are very durable and a little bit thicker and kind of sit on top of the liner which when you’re tightening up your boots when you’re tightening up the lacing a lot of times you really crank down right here and in flexing the boots you kind of create some pressure and a little bit of a pressure point on top of your foot right there this actually absorbs that. And stop that from happening so it makes for a little bit more comfortable with it next we’ve got what’s called a. Focused cop he’ll hold in this boot and what that does is within the boot it actually really locks your foot into place and gives you a little bit more response out of the liner keeps your ankles from moving around and keeps you transferring your energy as. Effective as possible what’s pretty cool. In this and hard to see it here but this liner features were called stock black and it’s a material down here that when you slide your foot in makes it actually easier for you to get your foot into the boot but it’s a directional material so. When you go to pull your foot out or when you’re riding your foots not going to move around it’s locked into place it’s its not moving so it’s more. Effectively transferring that energy and you’re not losing that energy due to your foot one around in the liner but again it makes it so it’s very easy to get your boob or to get your foot into the liner now you’ll notice that you don’t have a drawstring here which you’ll find out some of the boots and this is because this has been replaced. Then in the imprint three liners by some. Velcro what this does is it allows you. To really still get that tight feel from. The tummy your liner but by taking that. Drawstring off it’s cutting down a lot more on weight so it’s making for a more performance-oriented boo while still giving you the ability to really lock. Your foot into place and really give you that comfort last what you’ve got on this boot is some lightweight power panels and what that does is that makes it so the liner itself can be flexi can. Be very comfortable but you still have some added support on the outside of the liner keeps your peeps your heel locked. In place and keeps you transferring the energy as effectively as possible to. Your binding to your board so let’s go. Back to the shoulders now what we have. Is on the imperial booting you burton. Uses their shrinkage technology so what. That means is that if you’re riding a size 10 in this boot your footprints. Actually more that of a size 9 this is great if you’re riding any boots over an. 11 because you know you riding some wider boards and instead of an 11 having. The footprint of 11 now in 11 haves a footprint up a 10 so you don’t need to ride that water board in a lot of cases so that’s great that they feature that. On the imperial as well um lastly on. This boot we can talk about the cushioning underfoot we’ve got a barroom. Outsold on this boot and what and we. Also have what’s called the est. Optimized mid sole so if you’re writing this boot with an est binding which is. Used for the burton ics boards those. Those bindings are designed to give you the maximum fee of your board through. Those bindings it’s supposed to give you the best contact from your bindings to your board again to maximize that feel so this boot the outsole is actually. Designed to do the same thing it’s a lower profile very lightweight outsole and what that does is it again. Allows you to have that feel of your. Board while still effectively transferring that energy as well it lowers your center near your center of gravity and then improve that maximum. Connection between your boot and your binding you also have what’s called b3. Cushioning in this in the mid sole this. Boon what that is its a very squishy material in the tone the anchor in the heel of the boot that allows to absorb a. Little bit of impact as well as vibration so again on what you do get a. Little bit more aggressive on it absorbs that vibration absorbs that shocks makes for a little bit smoother of a ride and then last we’ve got what’s called the rubber ice spikes what these. Do is win engage they’re actually a. Little bit more grippy they give you a little bit more traction on ice and heart attacks no so you’re not slipping and again you know have that extra. Traction so this is the burton imperial. Boot pretty awesome goof for the value. It’s definitely your advanced all-mountain freestyle rider looking for. A higher end performance boo.

Hi I’m jenna and this is the burton imperial boot this boot is great for your advanced aggressive all-mountain freestyle rider who’s looking for a lot. Of performance and a lot of features out of their boot so to start off let’s talk about the liner that’s in this boot what we have here is the imprint 3 liners which is fully capable so you can take it into your shop and of course mold it to your foot which gives you a very customized fit as well as keeps your. Feet very comfortable throughout your day of riding and that’s what we’ve got. On this is we’ve got these what’s called rad pad so right under here there’s some. Kind of rubber pieces that are very durable and a little bit thicker and kind of sit on top of the liner which when you’re tightening up your boots when you’re tightening up the lacing a lot of times you really crank down right here and in flexing the boots you kind of create some pressure and a little bit. Of a pressure point on top of your foot right there this actually absorbs it and stops it. From happening so it makes for a little bit more comfortable fit next we’ve got. What’s called a focus cup he’ll hold in this boot and what that does is within the boot it actually really locks your foot into place and gives you a little bit more response out of the liner keeps. Your ankles from moving around and keeps you transferring your energy. As effective as possible what’s pretty. Cool in this and hard to see it here but this liner features what’s called the stock lock and it’s a material down here. That when you slide your foot in makes it actually easier for you to get your foot into the boot but it’s a directional material so when you go to pull your foot out or when you’re riding your foots not going to move around it’s locked into place it’s its not moving. So it’s more effectively transferring that energy and you’re not losing that energy due to your foot moving around in the liner but again it makes it so it’s very easy to get your boot to get your foot into the liner now you’ll notice that you don’t have a drawstring here which you’ll find out some of those boots and this is because this has been replaced on the imprint. Three liner by some vocal what this does. Is it allows you to really still get that tight feel from tummy your liner. But by taking that drawstring off its. Cutting down a lot more on weight so it’s making for a more performance oriented boot while still giving you the ability to really lock your foot into. Place and really give you that comfort last what you’ve got on this boot is some lightweight power panels and what that does is it makes it so the liner itself can be flexing can be very comfortable but you still have some added support on the outside of the liner keeps your heel locked. Into place and keeps you transferring the energy as effectively as possible to. To your binding to your board so let’s. Go back to the shoulders now what we. Have is on the imperial blue the new. Burton uses their shrinkage technology. So what that means is that if you’re riding a size ten in this boot your footprints actually more that of a size nine this is great if you’re riding any. Boots over an eleven because you know. You’re riding some wider boards and instead of an 11 having the footprint of. 11 now an 11 has a footprint up at 10 so. You don’t need to ride that wider board in a lot of cases so that’s great that. They feature that on the imperial as well lastly on this boot we can talk. About the christening underfoot we’ve got a barb am outsole on this boot and. What and we also have what’s called the. Est optimized mid sole so if you’re riding this boot with an est binding which is used for the burton ics boards. Those bindings are designed to. Give you the maximum fee of your board. Through those bindings it’s supposed to. Give you the best contact from your bindings to your board again to maximize that feel so this boot the outsole is. Actually designed to do the same thing it’s a lower profile very lightweight. Outsold and what that does is it again allows you to have that feel of your. Board while still effectively transferring that energy as well it lowers your center of gravity and then improve that maximum. Connection between your boot and your binding you also have what’s called b3. Cushioning in this in the mid sole of this boot and what that is its a very squishy material in the tone the anchor and the heel of the boot that allows to absorb a little bit of impact. As well as vibration so again on if you. Do get a little bit more aggressive on it absorbs that vibration absorbs. That shocks and makes for a little bit smoother of a ride and then last we’ve got what’s called the rubber ice bikes what these do is win engage they’re. Actually a little bit more grippy they. Give you a little bit more traction on ice and harder packed snow so you’re not slipping and again you know have that. Extra traction so this is the bern. Imperial boot pretty awesome boot for. The value it’s definitely your advanced. All-mountain freestyle rider looking for. A higher end performance boot.

Hello my name is clarissa fink’s and I’m. The senior product manager in boots here at burton and I’m gonna run you through some of the key things that we love about the imperial so little backstory. On the imperial in 2009 we came out with a boot called the sarah didn’t last very. Long one season ended up getting cancelled and moving over to japan. Specific model as soon as we told the. Rest of the world they couldn’t have it and only japan could everybody wanted. They wanted a great riding all-mountain. Has all the bells and whistles you need and none of the extra stuff you don’t need that pretty much can do everything so after a couple of seasons of hearing. About it over and over and over we brought back not the cerro but the new imperial the flex of it is a little softer than an ion so it still is a very. High performance boot and the guy who’s out riding card is gonna like it but if. You’re looking for something a little more mellow and flex that you can take on big steeps but also play around in. The park this is a great boot for you. See update that we did and something worth mentioning is the beaver melt so whole idea behind this boot is keeping. It super functional but pretty lightweight having to be from traction in key areas with a taller lug height allowed us to keep the boot nice and light. Nice and easy riding but still provide really great traction so the imperial. Solid performing boot you see sollers this is their go to this. This is the boot they want to ride all the time they used to be on ion but that was a little too stiff so this boot has been a perfect flex really does everything that. They like to do whether they’re in the park out in the back country this has. Been the food of choice so that’s the imperial for 2014 it’s solid all-around. All-mountain freestyle free ride whatever. You need this thing to do the materials up for the challenge.

Hello I’m matt guff from house.com and. This is a pair of 2019 burton imperial. Snowboard boots this is a boot that a lot of people have really enjoyed who like free riding it’s an all-mountain boot for intermediate to advanced level rider so generally a stay kind of like on the ground or maybe do you a little bit of hiking maybe do some skinning it’s a well-rounded boot with a stiffer style flex and a shrinkage footprint reduction technology this size-11 boot. Has a imprint on the snow besides 10 that’s great for anyone with size 11 feet in larger because they give you less toe and heel drag the imperial well. He has one lacing option this is a speed zone there’s an upper and lower zone that you can tighten with new england ropes i have a lifetime warranty i like the ability to tighten the upper or lower zones independently because i like wearing my upper sections a little more tighten my lower sections a little bit more loose for better circulation the. Shall panels actually feature some s4 paneling which actually doesn’t break down as fast as other synthetics down materials there’s a nice a super high sniffers back stay but still it on the. Backside it doesn’t give you that high back bite because an upper section is just a little bit softer so you’re leaning on that toe side edge you’re not gonna get that harsh feel from the high back jamming into the back of your boot and then of course underneath your foot is my sleeping bag a reflective foil. That actually reflects your heat back towards your body it doesn’t feature that rebounce kind of. Like foot bad technology above that because this is a little bit more of a kind of like a free riding boot and you. Don’t need as much you know impact absorption for when you’re hitting big jumps because most people just kind of cruise around in the imperial and then. Of course there’s a little bit of the b3 gel to make up for some of those negative vibrations that you may get there’s est optimized mid sole and then a. Vibram eco step out so that uses 30% rubber so you’ll see there’s actually quite a bit of like kind of rugged tread this tread is designed for people who. Like hiking who like kind of like getting out of the ordinary spots that most people are like riding it still has. A good amount of board field because of that est style mid sole and then of. Course in sizes focus now cuff the focus. Cuff features a little bit so if you want external j-bars we’re tighter he’ll hold you can definitely add those in of course there’s a locking lace system um then there’s this. Right here this was the imprint 3 a well. Done liner that kind of really kind of sets the bar for a high-end liner across the industry it’s extremely lightweight has lightweight support panels of course double velcro on the time to keep it nice and centered and then a dry ride heat cycle on the inside that kind of regulates the heat with inside your boot internal j-bars which. Are really nice and a wonderful shaping that gives your toes room to breathe in whip around and then instead of that is. That level 2 foot that has an ess support shank and tied mike microbial. Microbial ha-ha I’ve coating and then. There’s a little bit of moisture wicking material on top with perforations too so this is a really rad boot if you tend to kind of i just carve around you maybe do a little bit of hiking um the inferior. Imperialist have a really great one it has an awesome tread your firm flexing style rebounce done and of course you can check it out at the house comm leave a comment or question um you know and you think I’m this thing here subscribe to the channel their agenda out more vids there and hopefully I’ll see you on snow.

Hello I’m matt guff from house.com and this is a pair of 2018 burton imperial. Snowboard boots designed with great board feel and an appeal for. Intermediate to advanced level riders who like riding groomers and maybe dive into the back country this is a great boot where lots of key technology to make it on the best kind of all-mountain big mountain boots around for its price point it features a feeling flex rating of a six it’s stiffer than your average boot and it has shrinkage footprint reduction. Technology this size 9 actually leaves. An imprint on the suit snow of a size 8 so if your size 11 you’re gonna have less toe and heel drag which is always a good thing for big-footed riders overall the disco’s really relevant features speed zone lacing system you can customize how these things fit with two different zones there’s an upper and a. Lower zone that you tighten with these new england rope style pull handles i like tightening the upper section really tight in the lower section have a little bit loose so i can have more circulation in my feet so it doesn’t cut off ya circulation but overall these. Things are gonna wear really well, and they’re gonna stand up to the test of time because they do feature s for. Support and she’ll style panels material. That’s gonna break down a lot slower than traditional like faux leather nylon. Etc there’s a nice sort of support style back stay that isn’t too stiff but still provides enough comfort and it does feature kind of little bit of a for natural for lean underneath your. Foot is going to be a great vibram outsole no this is actually rubber and then also features the low-profile est. Optimized outsole so it has like the big. Chunky ruggedness of ihram sole but it still has the low-profile kind of. Feel inboard feel of an est out saw with b3 gel along with that is going to be a. Sleeping bag reflective photo and you can’t see that on the inside reflective foil that actually keeps the heat inside. Of your boot instead of having your body heat we kind of lost through the bottom of the liner or the sole inside of this. Thing is going to be a heat moldable imprint 3 style liners there has. External style supports internal j-bars double velcro a centering tongue of. Course and then a big opening now that’s. Another great thing about the imperials. That they’re easy to get in and out of you know the shell or actually opens up. Quite a bit there’s some firm flexing tongue it’s you know even though it’s firm you can still actually you know loosen it up quite a bit and then just get inside another great thing is how. Well they really fit you know the heel pockets are nice and snug the top box toe pockets are nice and squared you can see that with this level two footbeds. Notice how wide it isn’t kind of like blunted off you know there’s so many board company or boot companies out there that make these triangular style toe boxes that squeeze your toes together and you basically lose your circulation not that’s not the case for the imperials but this footbed is actually a huge step up from the level one it features a eta molded that kind. Of ess support shank for support in the. Arch and in that heel cradle it’s actually really nice um but overall the. Imperials gave me a great boot especially if you kinda liked hiking if you like riding groomers this is gonna. Be a really good one and it features that speed zone lacing system with new england ropes there’s an awesome piece that you can check out at the house comm i select in the link below leave a comment or a question let us know what do you think of the imperials subscribe to the channel right there watch some more vids right there and hopefully I’ll see you on snow.

Hello I’m matt guff from house comm and this is a 2019 burton ruler wide a wide. Snowboard boot designed for all hmong freestyle used for beginning to advanced level riders the ruler has been within. The burton i bet for 20-plus years i remember growing up i actually had this boot but not in the wide version i think. This is one of the first boots within snowboarding that kind of added in a. Wide option this one is actually 3e and. With so about a quarter inch wider than. Then most and it also features a liner that has a little bit of give on both the lateral and medial side so any anyone with a wide style foot that wants. More comfort check out the wide versions. Although the ruler comes in a couple different lace options the wide only comes with a spasm which I’m okay with because i like it there’s two different. Zones that you can tighten both upper and lower with two different pull handles that have a lifetime warranty with new england ropes i prefer speed zone because i can tighten my upper section and keep my lower section just a little bit loose for better circulation and it’s really easy to tighten and of course loosen them the ruler has a lot more support. Panels than what you find some of the other boots below it has flex notches in. The instep that allows flexing over the top about a lot of the material pinching and a grip light style back side that. Helps to kind of grip along the backside of your high back other 3d molded. Power-up tong has just a little bit more energy and life to it there’re gussets of course and then the outsole is a pretty dang rad to such a kind of combination of both it’s an est kind of like mid sole with b3 gel in the heel area and then. There’s rubber placed in the high wear. Areas and surprising enough you know those rubber sections have a pretty good tread and you know having that lightweight est is gives a great amount. Of board field because that that soul is. Actually pretty thin so if you’re like feeling your board underneath your feet you don’t want like ultra rugged stuff underneath it the ruler actually gives a. Great board field back to you another great thing that it does is provide a lot of warmth underneath your liners actually some of the cargo a sleeping. Bag reflective foil that reflects back towards your body also inside is. That lockup style cuff system with a. Internal locking lace that cuff actually. Wraps around this liner now this is a. Special line of course to the burton ruler wide again it has like these kind of like external panels that can like separate now it’s almost like a neoprene. Style material that you won’t find in any other imprint to style liner and. Thus, it’s a wide version style boot as. You see there’s a support panels along the lateral and medial side they don’t go all the way up to the top but it does provide a good amount of support runner ankle and these work in conjunction with the internal j-bars that kind of hook. Around your ankles that give you better heel hold and heel support there’s a. Kind of man for up on top double velcro to keep the tongue centered out and these things are actually heated moldable — or thermo heat moldable so you don’t actually need a heat molar to. Make the fit perfect on your foot your body heat can actually activate that and. It’s also it also features 3m insulate. So it’s gonna be just a little bit warmer than regular kind of like a synthetic style fill then there’s this footbed it’s amazing enough i tried to. Match the wide version ruler footbed. This one with the other ruler both size 11 they actually are the same width so that’s kind of interesting but i know by. Matching up the liners at the liner and of course this also is just a touch. Wider um these are great boots so for anyone with size anyone who has like a. Wider foot who can fit into that got a. 3e with through their’s gonna be a great. Option again here multiple minor speed low speeds only thing is the mid sole b3g. On the heel area there’s a rad boot it is comfortable it is supportive it has a medium style flex so it’s gonna be more supportive than what you find in that rampant the moto and of course the invader make sure to check these things out at the house calm last year we sold our pretty fast so that means that people with wide feet want them so get them when you can. Because they’re not gonna be here for long subscribe my channel in their check out more vids there and hopefully I’ll see you on snow peas.

Hello I’m matt guf in house comm and this is a pair of 2018 burton slx all-mountain free ride a. Backcountry style snowboard boots designed for intermediate to advanced level riders i want a great amount of board feel a lightweight boot a comfortable firm style flex and shrinkage footprint reduction technology these size 11s actually have a size 10. Imprint on the snow the sl x boots are. Kind of like the top tier boot from burton that feature fluctuating about seven a little bit stiffer than your average boot but not overly aggressive like the driver x features of course new. England ropes with the speed zone pull handles there’re two zones and you can tighten the upper and lower zone and i usually we’re gonna ride the sol axis i have this extremely tight this is a little bit more loose so i can get better circulation in my feet the upper has actually been upgraded this season 2018 for sl x with the new ultra weave. Shall this is the same shell or similar show to what you’ll find in the old mighty boot except where this has a more tight style weave it’s actually really light to a touch and of course it has it reduces overall month weights that burden has in a manufacturing process with an ultra weave and also as i nice little grippy style back stain with little nubs then really keep the heel pocket like locked in against the back of the boot underneath your foot is. Actually an awesome outsole this is a veer am x wing style also extra kind of. Hard style rubber in those much-needed areas they still have a lightweight va. Styled mid sole and then inside is actually a rebounce cushioning that helps to absorb negative. Vibrations and impact and sleeping bag. Reflective foil that reflects heat back toward your body instead of it being lost throughout the under section of the boot another cool thing about what can. Happen on the inside of the boot is are these heel inserts now these heel inserts do two things the first one it helps to absorb a little bit more shock in landings if you’re like doing cliff jumps or whatever but also provide just. A little bit of tilt and I’ve written boots to have like what’s called drop where you know it’s a couple millimeter drop in the toe area or it feels like you’re kind of anger a little bit i kind of like that especially for free riding because it gives a little bit more of like a for a natural style forward lean so that’s a. Kind of cool little additional piece to the slx that i don’t think any other boots within the line have also on the. Inside is going to be a great tough cuff now this cuff system actually wrapped around this life liner it’s a little bit taller a little bit firmer support and goes well past the ankle and then of. Course this is the next big thing this is the life liner the liner was i. Believe upgraded or introduced to the burton line two years ago it’s very breathable and has external style support panels velcro closures with the. Tongue centered and then dry ride heat cyclic technology that regulates where the heat is in your boot so you don’t get cold or hot spots and then inside of. That of course it’s going to be a level 3 footbeds now this is a big step up from the level 2 it still has the ess support. Shank a little bit more structure for support underneath your arch and of course a heel cradle and then a dual density style padding to absorb a little bit more impact um these are comfortable boots again they’re not too. Stiff you know they’re about a 7 on that flex rating scale they have the ultra we’ve new shell fabric and an awesome life liner and of course their heat moldable this is an awesome boob slx. Basically if you see someone riding this they really know what’s going on it’s snowboarding hopefully they can have the skills to kind of match up to how great these boots are this is the 2018 burton. Slx an awesome boot that you can find at the house calm i select in the link below leave a comment or question let us know what do you think of these awesome things i think they look pretty sweet actually and subscribe the channel there. And watch more videos their thanks for watching and hopefully I’ll see you guys on snow.

Hello I’m matt guf from the house comm and this is a pair of 2018 burton ruler snowboard boots designed for all-mountain use for beginner to advanced level riders anyone can ride them to feature a little bit stiffer than average of a flex rating of a six out of one to ten scale and it has shrinkage footprint reduction technology. Which allows this size nine to have a size eight imprint on the snow it has a. Good amount of board feel and it’s just really well-rounded not only doesn’t look good it rides really well yeah that. Six on the flex rating scale is great because it’s a little bit more supportive than average so anyone who may have ankle problems or anyone who wants a little bit more like quicker reaction is gonna love the ruler you can. See this boot in the park you can see it in the back country it does everything really well and it has a speed zone lacing system there’s actually two different zones that are controlled by two different pull handles one controls upper section the other of course controls the lower section so you can. Get an optimized fit however you’d like that separates the lower and the upper. Zones in these ropes feature lifetime warranty they’re actually made by new england ropes, so they’re gonna last a really long time the shell doesn’t really feature any articulation there is like slight flex notches but overall with the medium flexing tongue it’s going to be a little bit more support, or we’re about top of that towards that edge there is a nice grip light style. Backs tape and has their own texture to it to a state it’s gonna stay locked into that heel pocket and it gets that. High back it’s not going to be a lot of movement overall the soul is actually. Pretty great it’s kind of upgraded from some of the other est out outsourced. Because features reinforce down rubber in the toe and the heel area but that. Est saw is actually quite a bit lower. Profile so you get a good amount of. Board feel it also has a b3 gel in the heel area you can’t see it but it’s inside of course and then also is a. Sleeping bag reflective foil reflective. Foil that actually keeps the heat inside. Of your boot instead of having it loose having a spread out from underneath your. Foot the liner is the imprint — this is. A custom heat moldable liner external j-bars as you see as what’s. Called man a man first I’ll hop it’s actually really soft to the touch and i and i like it because you can really open it up the liner and the shell to. Slide your foot it’s easy to get burton boots on that has intro style j bars. Tight little heel pocket which is great and it also has a level 1-foot bed now. This foot bed is a 3d molded it’s a it. Has a little bit of support underneath that arch around that heel cradle but not as much as i say in love with 2 foot. Bed that burden offers in some other boots but overall it’s definitely a huge step up from a classic kind of like laser-cut flat style footbed that you see in a lot of boots of this similar price point then you may ask yourself. Why is there no lacing system on the liner well there’s actually internal style locking cuff system it’s easy. To use of course but it gives a nice like stark style fit the liner doesn’t move around on the inside of the shell this is a really great boot the ruler and where the first time i rolled by a pair of ruler so probably in like 97 it’s so good that it’s so great that they’ve been they stayed within the line. For such a long time it’s well-rounded it’s at a really good price point you can ride in the park you can write another umar’s and of course you can ride it in the back country with a little bit more of an aggressive kind of tread this is the burton ruler an awesome boot for 2018 that you can check out at the house comm by selecting the link below feel free to leave a comment question let us know what you think of these and if you’ve ever ridden them subscribe to the channel right there and check out some more of the videos right there thanks again for watching and hopefully see you guys on snow peace.

Hello I’m matt guf from the house car. And this is a burton imperial snowboard. Boot this is one of the best all-mountain freestyle all-mountain all-terrain boots available to the. Market it has shrinkage footprint. Reduction technology which means that my. Size 11 boot actually fits and leaves an. Imprint on the snow like a size 10 so if. You have large feet it’s actually pretty great because you get a lot less toe and heel drag it also has total comfort construction this boot is gonna feel the. Same on day 100 as it does on day one imperial has a flex rating or support. Rating of a seven so it’s a little bit stiffer of a boot but it feels a little. But less stiff than the sle x which as well. Has a support rating of a seven now the. Shoulder boots pretty fancy there’s. For support panels of course there is a. Power up for flex thin profile 3d molded. Tongue it’s a dual density tongue is already like kind of formed around the shin or formed around the liner there’s. A seamless power spine back stay of course and the outsole is pretty. Impressive it’s a vibram outsole there’s rugged truck tread rubber ice spikes of course. And the mid sole is actually an est optimized mitt so it’s a little bit thinner you can feel the board underneath your feet it’s great for bindings featuring est and channel. System bores but you can also use this boot of course with regular disc. Bindings as well there’s also b3 gel in. The heel area inside you’ll find the. Focus cuff which is a little bit higher than most of the internal liner cuffs. That usually have the lacing system for. The liners this is the imprint 3 liners it’s a completely heat moldable there’s. Lightweight power panels that have kind of been beefed up around the heel area there’s a nice heel j-bars that keep your heel locked into the heel pocket and there’s also rad pads kind. Of just disperse the pressure that. You get from releases and from your ankle strap in addition to that there’s velcro closures. That keeps its tongue nice and centered on your boot the last thing that you want when you’re riding is a tongue aligner tongue that can like move is off. To the side and it cuts off your circulation that’s always bad but it’s a pretty amazing little liner and inside. Of the imprint 3 liners is going to be a level ii v a molded footbed with an. Ess support shank which offers a little. But more support under the arch of your foot and around the heel area so there you have it this is probably one of the most bang for your buck boots that you. Can get you know I’ve been debating. Whether what kind of boots i should get the season and really thinking about getting these bad boys these are the burton imperial snowboard boots and you can find them at the house calm.

Hello I’m matt guf for the house comm. And i am here with eric mini shred, and he is the boots product manager here at. Byrne snowboard she makes all the burden boots look amazing anna we’re the greatest. Boot size burton has ever had is the burton imperial snowboard boot is a. Little bit different than the ambush a little bit more beefy um tell us a. Little bit about the imperial snowboard boot and the imperial is your. Ultimate kind of resort billy goating. Guide food so if you’re ripping around groomers but you sometimes want to go off-piste and start going on a little hike into the side country this imperial outsole is going to give you incredible traction and incredible durability for any of those little off-piste missions that you want to go on but the overall package of this boot it’s going to be about a six out of ten in the flex scale so a little bit stiffer than the ambush. A little bit more supportive and responsive, and then we’ve got s4 shell. Paneling so start start strong stay strong is what that stands for is. To clear up the s4 thing and that’s just going to increase durability wear your straps cause the most wear so this boot. It’s great for a guy that’s just ripping around groomers just like the ambush but this guy wants to go in the trees more or you want to do a little side country hiking and just like all of. Our boots this year it’s upgraded with total warmth with sleeping bag foil strobel so really similar the 2014. Imperial that just tried-and-true awesome boot if you love the imperial you’re still gonna love it now you’re gonna be totally warm that’s right check it out and the house come check out all the burton snowboard boots there and specifically check out those imperials thanks guys.

Also go on today guys today we’re talking about the burton imperial 2011. Boot this food is one of the higher-end. Boots that burton does in their line so. It’s got a lot of take homes for ya just a really nice high quality boot as well as just being loaded with a lot of. Features on there some of the biggest ones are gonna be hearing at the speedway system so it’s a nice fast light system that comes for you. Guys its nice and quick all you have to do is pretty much give it a tug you have a lower and an upper zone here that. Workout nice thing to do with this one because it’s on the higher end they give you a little more of a handle so you can get a little bit more of a tug on there you not to worry about it as much as well. One of the things that we’re going to hear this boot is going to be more of a mid flex boot it comes sport level it’s. About a six so it’s going to be on the stiffer side of things for those who are looking for that and it does that because it’s got a nice spine all the way at the front here as well as having these order called the s4 panels that. Run through to give it a little bit stiffer edge also along this line you’re. Going to have the shrinks footbed so. What it has is you know if you wear traditional a size 10 that is going to. Be shrunk at least about sighs and a half so it comes in about eight nine depending on what you have with that. Also you’re going to have the est mid sole system what that means is you. Can just feel the base of the board it works best with the channel system for the boards as well as the est on the binding so that you really get that total feel of being able to feel the. Board underneath your feet and really find out what’s going on also you’re going to get a vibram mid sole just. Really you know high quality foot soles. On there for you and also going to have nice i specs in there so you get a lot of stability and traction when you need. It on top of that and in terms of the. Liner you’re going to get a the imprint three liners which is one of the probably. The second highest maybe third highest line is it burton does it’s going to be a nice line as it custom molds right to your foot you know and especially within. Salomon Snowboards Malamute Snowboard Boot – Men’s

The Salomon Malamute Snowboard Boot is the go-to choice for aggressive riders charging everything from the craggy peaks of Wyoming’s Tetons to the no-fall lines of Alaska’s Chugach. As the stiffest boot in Salomon’s line, the Malamute’s earned a renowned status among freeriders bombing steeps at cheek-wobbling speeds and sending 30-foot cliffs into fluffy powder.

Salomon’s PowerLock speedlace system ensures a powerfully tight fit in seconds, with the laces securing in place with a criss-cross locker situated atop the tongue. Then, the Power Frame shell is RPU-reinforced to retain its stiff flex throughout the course of multiple seasons, and the rubberized outer shell prevents premature wear that usually results from the boot rubbing against the binding’s heelcup.

Cushioning big drops and hard landings, an Ortholite C3 footbed smooths out potentially painful impacts and chatter at high speeds. Energizer H-bars attach underneath the shell for a stiffer, more responsive feel, while the Platinum liner with Custom Fit Pro Foam conforms to the unique contours of your feet, with its multi-density structure retaining a high degree of stiffness without packing out. A rugged Trek EC+ outsole grips treacherous icy terrain when unstrapped, and adds impact-absorbing protection when you’re back on the board.

These are really the entry-level boots from 32 so if you’re looking for your first pair this is going to be a great starting point they’re all mountain freestyle, so they’re good for anything you want to do, and they sort of medium-soft dis flex so that means that they’re not going to be too twitchy they’re going to be really nice when you want them to be and. Just great for sort progressing the skills in any area on the mountain level one outsole so use a dual density outsole which is tough and durable and uses a level 14-foot bed as well which. Again uses EVA sort of dampen any ride. And make your snowboarding nice and smooth the level one. Liner is also heat-foldable.

We do that in store. However, it will mold to your foot if you’re buying these on the internet and you can’t get downstairs or multi or foot after a few days to don’t worry it’s not a necessity. We have really good for like i said any. Sort of entry level but if you are on a budget and you are sort of moss of experienced rider these going to be great for you too so don’t don’t rule it out if they is you are sort of bit. More experienced the things they’re not. Ideal for is aggressive free riding i. Mean we would say go for a certificate if you wanted more free ride orientate boot and likewise if you were just a pure jibber riding in the domes a lot we. Would probably say to go for something maybe slightly softer but apart from. That 32 exit is a great choice for any entry-level rider or intermediate riders on the budget.

Hey guys michelle here from the house comm and today I’m talking about the 20 1832 exit women’s snowboard boot the. The Softest boot in the 32 and lineup it is. A very soft boot it has two at a ten on the flex scale so it’s absolutely great for an entry-level rider who’s just starting out or an advanced rider who just wants a super playful feel now you’ll notice it does have that traditional lace-up system which i guarantee is just a no fuss no muss it’s. Always easy to replace just a classic traditional lace now the liner in these are super comfortable they have a comfy padded tongue and it’s really dedicated to just an all-day wear they are heat moldable so you can bring it to your local shop and have it heats molded to your foot for a super custom fit or you can just have it keeps mold naturally to your body with your body heat while you’re writing and it will have that same custom fit for you in the end so it also features grip and rip heel hold and that really securely locks you into your binding now if you have any problems with the boot there is a one-year warranty through 32 so you can contact them with any issues that you might have now you can find the twenty eighteen thirty-two exit womens it’s no more boot at the house calm.

Hello I’m matt guff from house common this is a pair of two thousand 1932. Exits no more boots this is kind of. Where it all starts 432 within the line before beginning to intermediate level riders that want something with the traditional lace and a low price point with a comfortable out-of-the-box fit that’s extremely lightweight out of all. Of those kind of categories 32 does a. Really good job at checking off the box of each of those um it is an extremely lightweight boot and if you’re a freestyle rider on a budget and you want. Something that is shock absorption or has a shock absorption this is actually a really good boot it hasn’t felt and flex of a two on the one-to-ten fluctuating scale it’s gonna be quite a bit softer of a mood as you see and it will be part of the comfort fit style series so right again right out of the box is going to feel good, but they do have custom heat moldable liners there’re traditional laces it’s easy to lace up you know the separation system right between the mid step generally i like my uppers tight my lowers just a little bit looser this the shell panels you know. Our support along that backside is kind of it has a little bit of a back state but it’s not overly like aggressive it doesn’t have a lot of forward lean to it on the tongue is what’s called a comfort tongue it’s like kind of 3d style shaped it does have gussets to keep some of the elements out and the special part is actually what’s directly underneath your foot this is the sti evolution outsole. Foam this evolution foam is a new upgrade to the thirty-two exit for this season um it hasn’t had it before and this is one of the things that makes it so lightweight the liner is actually integrated has an integrated lacing. System with a locking tab which is really nice and the liner is actually. A dual density style foam it’s intuition its proprietary to 32 only 32 can use. This style of intuition foam there’re other brands that have intuition, but they don’t have this kind as integrated. Again lacing system and there’s a grip and rip kind of back stay along this section this is just velcro that kind of. Keeps the heel lock down just a little bit more inside of the liner so you don’t get me a heel lift but one thing i love about 32 boots is that they. Have good heel hold and with that dual-density there’s good harder foam and there’s a softer foam it’s a good combination of both but you don’t really need to heat mold easy if you don’t want to you can just put them pull them out of the box and your body heat will actually activate the molding properties your foot rests upon this thing this is a comfort footbed single density va has. Kind of moisture wicking style top there’s a little bit of 3d or contours to it but there’s not really much support with it overall though if you. Ride you know a couple times a season or your someone whose kind of on a budget that wants a really great lightweight boot with the traditional lace that’s soft the exits gonna be the one for you can check it out at the house comm i select the link below in the description feel free to leave a comment or a question let me know what you think of this thing here subscribe to the channel better check out more visit and hopefully I’ll see you want snow.

Hello I’m matt guff from house command this is a pair of two thousand 1932 s tw. Boa snowboard boots designed for almonte freestyle use for beginner to advanced level riders that want that convenience and ease of a boa coiler system that’s. Right the lacing system is a ball but it’s not just a regular ball it’s the lifetime warranty boa coiler. Actually feeds the cables back into it so you don’t have to dial it so much the se w is actually has a little bit. Softer of flex and feel than most boots. About a three on the one-to-ten flex rating scale and it’s part of the comfort collection that means that it’s gonna be comfortable right out of the box the upper section has a lot of extra. Kind of support panels on this these are. Called overmold overlays you’ll see that darker section there just a little bit more durable and harder material, and they do feed it also features the independent eye states and i really like the independent isis because it wraps over the top your boot it doesn’t just push all the material together when you’re tightening you know with the bullet dial there’s a 3d style molded. Tongue that conforms well around the shape of the liner and then a wonderful. One to one lasting that means that the shells shape or size is the exact size. Of the liner there’s some boot manufacturers out there that make like a nine and a half liner, and they just put it in ten sighs shall that’s. Not what 32 does it all and they do a. Really good job the feeling flex of the scw boas give me a smooth and consistent there is little flex notches that allow. It to bend over the top of your toe side edge without a lot of material pinching underneath your ankle strap the soul is. What keeps these things extra lightweight this is the sti evolution outsole foam you know rubber is one of. The components of a boot that gives it a lot of weight scw bone has just only. Foam sure it’s gonna absorb a lot of shock but it also will wear out if you walk around like parking lots a lot you. No spend your time strapping your bindings you won’t have to worry about that the liner inside the svw bow is. Going to be a dual density intuition foam it’s custom heat moldable but you don’t need a custom heat holder to heat these because your body heat actually activate the molding process there’s an integrated locking lace. System which is easy to use and then a wonderful grip and riff he’ll hold area. This little area surprisingly enough is just velcro and it doesn’t really surprise me a really good job at keeping the heel locked down inside the shell. There’s internal j-bars that seem to be. Kind of exaggerated in size and big you. Really don’t have a lot of heels lift when you ride the stw boas then inside. Of that is this wonderful little footbed there’s a comfort molded footbed single density eba there’s moisture wicking style top there’s a little bit of 3d contours to it but it doesn’t have a lot of support to it this is a really great booth you know it’s its kind of big step up from the binary order not the. Exit board uh whatever the other bill is. Called the single ball but for the most part if you’re looking for a price point conscious boot that does everything law from riding the parks to the powder and. You want convenience and ease of a boa. Coiler system the stw is a really good. One to check out make sure to check it out at the house calm my selecting the link below in the description feel free to leave a comment or question let me know what you think of these things here subscribe to the channel there check out more vids there and hopefully I’ll see you want snow.

Hello I’m matt guff from house comm and. This is a pair of two thousand 1932 last snowboard boots one of the most well-rounded boots within the 32 line therefore all mont freestyle use from the peaks to the parks powder and. Everything in between and anyone can actually ride them from beginners to advanced level abilities can really enjoy the lash now the lashed has been. Within 32 for i think gosh almost two. Decades it’s gone through a long different changes and i think this may be one of the best lasts today it has a. Feeling flex rating of a six a little bit stiffer than your average booting is part of that team fit collection as you see this one actually features a. Traditional lacing system there’s a lot. Of different last for this before this year there’s a crab grab there’s a santa cruz there’s a premium there’s a double boa and this is kind of the traditional one and you know 32 has done that because a lot of people follow the last bay, but they want some little stuff well. There’s some different things about it but this is connected the tried-and-true one this is the one that everyone kind of has always fallen in love with but it’s a little bit stiffer than average now with that six feeling flex there’s a. Performance style back stays a little stiffer on that back side but it’s still. Soft along that top so you’re not gonna get that boot or hide back bite when you’re on your heel side edge there’s also articulation that separates both upper and lower zone sweetie you’re bending over the top of that toe side edge in combination with a 3d molded even flexing tongue you’re gonna get a nice even consistent style flex it’s not gonna like flex out odd and then lastly in the upper section there’s a those independent eye stays it’s a wrapping material over the top of your boot instead of just like squishing all the material together when you tighten those laces now the another cool part about it is there’s a bration resistant style toe and then that that back say again is a. Little bit thicker over like a rubbery style material a little bit more abrasion resistance so when you’re getting in and out your boots if you’re hiking yeah it’s gonna be less likely to. Wear out a bunch another great thing about the 32 lashed is that it has a 1 to 1 last which means that if this is a. Size 9 and a half liner it’s gonna fit into a nine and a half shall not a size. 10 shall so a 32 does that with the lash and that’s a great thing because you get the best performance and the best fit underneath your foot is going to be this thing this is a sti evolution outsole foam sole its super lightweight it has lots. Of rugged tread and it’s its not gonna last as long as trub. But that’s a kind of price you pay for having a super lightweight style boot and then inside of this is a an. Integrated team lacing system so notice. That the liner doesn’t have a lacing system or on it there’s an internal style harness that has a locking kind of. Lace handle to it only goes up about halfway so the top section the boots could need a little bit softer than the lower section especially with something. Stuffed that happens inside of here this is the team liner it’s a dual intuition. Style foam custom heat moldable you don’t have to keep molded because your body heat will actually activate the molding process which is great there is a support panels on the lateral and medial side of power strap up on top so you can crank that down which is nice and then one of my favorite things is actually the heel hold kit there’s actually little pockets on the lateral and medial side where you can place these little rings this is a five millimeter thick ring and this one is a. Three millimeter thick ring if you have an odd c foot and you want better heel hold you can just slip these inside. Those little pockets for a better fit the boots do feature a kind of exaggerated style size j bars on the inside which is nice and a neoprene style toe box so there’s a little give there so you don’t just smash in your foot into your toe box your foot rests. Upon and desks this is a team foot bit i. Do a density there’s a heel create a little bit of arch support with a moisture beginning style top this is a rad boot you know one of my favorite. Things about it is the heel hold if you have a problem with your heel is kind of lifting up of 32 laughs doesn’t really. Good job at holding it down this is. Awesome boot coming in a bunch of different colorways there’s a bunch of different leasing options and sole options and you. Can check them all out at the house comm i select them the link below in the description of course leave a comment or question i know one of you 29,000 people. Out there that subscribe to our channel have ridden one of these let me know. What you think subscribe to the channel there we’re almost to actually 30,000 subscribers which is pretty metal trigger more visit. Then and hopefully I’ll see you guys on snow peace.

Hello I’m matt guff from house calm and. This is a thirty to exit a snowboard boot it’s designed for all-mountain use for beginner to intermediate level shredders it actually made my top five beginners. Boots for 2017 it’s extremely. Lightweight it fits well and of course has a heat moldable liner overall the. Exit will have a softer flex rating of a three there’s no flex notches but there. Is can like a deep groove cut between the upper and lower section in that mid step there’re traditional laces nice little eyelets on the side there’s only two not three the boot does seem to fit just a little bit lower and one of my favorite things about this synthetic kind of shell is the upper section on that backside is nice and soft so when you’re getting on that heel side edge not getting a lot of that he’ll bite of. Along with that it’s like a nice soft plush tongue now the tongue isn’t 3d. Molded its 3d contoured and works well with this intuition level one line. Another level one liner of course heat moldable but you don’t need to heat molded it is a body heat activated as. Well there’s an integrated lacing system with lock down pad internal j-bars of. Course it just works really well with the shell a great thing about 32 they do one-to-one lasting in their boots and another great thing about the edges is. The hard rubber there’s rugged and aggressive style tread along that bottom side and these boots are actually built. To last more than a couple of seasons, and they’ve proven that through the test of time and everything they do at 32 and. Then lastly is a level 1-foot bed it’s. Kind of like a Sherpa style a soft top die cut av a pretty simple not very much. Support underneath your arch but it is nice and plush it’s part of the comfort fit series from 32 this is called the 32. Exit a great all mountain snowboard boot for beginner to intermediate level riders against part of my top 5 beginners. Boots of 2017 make sure to check out. More vids from 32 by subscribing to our channel thanks for watching and hopefully I’ll see you on snow.

Hello I’m matt guf from the house comm. And this is a thirty to exit snowboard boot a well-rounded boot designed for anyone out there that wants a soft a fluctuating overall it will have a flex rating of a two on the one to ten scale. It’s pretty darn soft yeah it’s a good-looking boot though let me tell you that for anyone just kind of getting into snowboarding or even if you’re an intermediate level rider that wants a lot of comfort well you can have it here because the exit boots have 100% heat. Foldable intuition ultra long liner so. That’s right there heat moldable they custom mold to your foot there’s traditional laces a 3d molded tongue nice panels of support on both of the. Sides and of course there’s gonna be a rubber deep tread out so now this. All sort of course is gonna grip down on any kind of conditions whether it be ice or you know fluffy snow of course — but i like because it’s really deep now inside this awesome look at jump is going to be that a heat moldable liner it has integrated lacing system on it’s actually a level it’s got a level one liner one thing that a lot of people miss out and can i bypass when they’re. Looking at the exit and the level one liner is actually this piece of velcro. On the back side there’s another of course piece on the inside of the shell that helps reduce the amount of heel lift that you get i know it sounds kind of crazy like that’s not really gonna work actually it really does there’s great support panels on the inside or the called g bars that wrap around your ankle and keep your heel into that heel pocket area and you your. Foots gonna be sitting on this laser-cut piece of plush top footbed it’s called a. Level one footbed this is the thirty-two exits an awesome boot for anyone like really wanting to advance their skills on the snowboard and look good at the same time check it out at the house calm.

Hello I’m matt guf for the house command this is a thirty to exit snowboard boot this is a well-rounded most bang for your buck boot out there from 32 ifs. You’re a beginner to intermediate level rider that really enjoys riding and wants to like learn a little bit more and step up your game this is gonna be an awesome boot for you it does have a flex rating of a three it’s gonna be quite a bit softer even if you were. Maybe a more advanced jibber or if we. Saw a guy you want to kind of have a really soft boot at a really awesome price point you can probably get into the thirty to exit and really enjoy. It now the shell is pretty simple of course. It does have enough support to keep you upright if there’s a 3d molded tongue and then there’s a traditional lacing system I’ve always been a fan of traditional laces will stay around forever there’s a rubber outsole with nice grippy tread and inside is going to be a nice smooth transition zone to get that level one liner inside now this is a well-rounded. Level one liner it does have integrated. Lacing system which is lockable of course it does have internal j-bars a 3d molded tongue and this is 100% heat. Foldable that’s one of the greatest things about these intuition liners from 32 is that their heat moldable and even if you don’t want to heat mold them you can wear them, and they’re gonna mold to your foot over a little bit of time now one of the greatest things about this. Boot is actually this plush top-level one footbed it’s so nice it’s so soft when you put your foot inside this thing after you heat mold it and then you put your foot on top of this thing it feels like heaven it really does this is the thirty-two exit snowboard boot and you can check it out at the house calm.

In this video, we’re gonna talk about the ventures Zelix. Their quiver of one board. If you will from their lineup it’s got a slight setback and a slight taper to it. But not enough that it’s overwhelming or you’re drastically gonna notice this is a board that you go from the peak to the park although I really wouldn’t recommend going in the park of this board and everything in between this is a board that is their quiver of one, and they cater more to a niche market they cater to that guide that’s going to be out there chase and pow that one that’s you know weekend warrior trying to get in as many laps as they can.

The person that’s just out there regardless of conditions and that’s where the zeal extends its that board for that guy that can only have one board, but they have more of a focus on freeride or putter chasing this board features ventures. Straight-line rocker which is a flat in. The rocker so outside the insert packs there’s a mellow rocker in. The tip and the tail which gives this board stability underfoot better floating pout and easier turn initiation. Seelix comes in with just above. Middle-of-the-road all-mountain freestyle flex to it you’ve. Got play in the tips and you’ve got a decent amount of torsional flex by-and-large this board is very stable especially underfoot there’s a little bit of chatter and the tip in the tail but it doesn’t resonate back underfoot.

This is due in part to the rocker profile it’s a slightly stiffer than middle-of-the-road all mountain freestyle flex that’s stable the sweet spot that’s in the tail is minuscule and. I mean minuscule you’ve got to know where it is to properly engage it but. When you do this board will lock into a. Butter it will lock into a press you can. Play around with it that if you don’t. It’s gonna be really soggy and you’re not gonna like it’s just how it is. The one thing I really liked about this board was how well it laid a trench when. I was driving it through a carve this is a board that just is super quick to engage super snappy and you can drive aggressively or be laid back on it does what you needed to do.

It’s very damp underfoot you don’t get bucked around you don’t notice any chatter on edge it plows through everything with ease this. Is a board for the resort rider that’s searching out pow and taking freestyle to it someone that’s sending it off a cliff dropping off a cornice is buttering. And deep fresh snow someone that’s really out there just pushing it to the. Limit and going for it.

It’s one of those boards for the guy that’s transitioning from being a park rider to a powder rider someone that just wants to go out and spin into fresh snow. So what other boards are out there like the see lix from venture let’s take a look the ride timeless the rome saw tooth. The arbor sin hombre, the Capita Navigator, the Endeavor Maverick. Hello I’m Matt Guff from House com. And this is a 2000 1832 Zephyr Jones. Snowboard boot. This is Jeremy Jones is come like in resort and in bounds boot that he likes riding with his kids. It’s an all-mountain boot. The Zephyr also comes in a regular Zephyr that doesn’t have the lace gator and you could ride these basically anywhere. If you want to take them in the park you probably could but I consider this to be a little bit softer of an all-mountain. Just kind of cruising boot for beginner to advanced level rider.

Sure, Jeremy Jones is one of the most epic big mountain riders in the world but if you want a comfortable soft boot with traditional laces and you’re a beginner you could you can definitely ride this thing it does feature traditional laces down the front and. It’s part of the team fit collection so there’s gonna be a little bit more performance in this than you would you find in the comfort fit collection but overall that’s a feeling flex rating of a for a little bit softer than your average boot and that has a lot to do with get a limited amount of access panels on the lateral medial side of the upper section with shell and articulation that means that this upper section actually gonna flex independently of the lower zone because there are these little zones so there’s less material pinching directly underneath your ankle strap.

Another cool part about but does that for Jones is that well there’s this lace gear. There’s like this abrasion resistant style material that covers those laces, so they don’t get iced up. There’s a little boot gator or a pant gator loop there so you. Can connect that to your pants which is actually really nice too and then basically kind of throughout is this abrasion resistant material on this lower section so if you’re in and out of your bindings a lot you’re not you’re gonna get a lot less wear and tear from your bindings new boots rubbing against each other there’s a 3d molded tongue even flexing tongue so when you over-the-top your toeside edge you’re not gonna get like these weird kinks in the flex and then of course is this. Outsold this is a sti evolution outsole.

I’m kind of surprised that they you know 30 to put the evolution also a foam sold. On this one it’s a super lightweight which i absolutely love it absorbs tons. Of impact in shock but it does wear out a little bit faster than what you find in regular rubber that happens to get boots a lot of you know like it makes me heavier but if you. Want your boots and be ultra lightweight you have a good amount of board feel you put this on and that’s what the jones zephyr has one thing that 32 is well known for is their liners this is a dual density intuition foam liner it’s. Custom heat moldable but your body heat can activate it to you if you don’t have access to a custom heat moldable liner this is a team fit liner another cool. Part about is that the upper sections of both the liner and the shell are a little bit softer so you don’t get that high back or boot bite when you’re on that heel side edge it just adds a little bit more comfort to the ride.

The liner does feature a heel hold kit on both the lateral and medial side there’s actually sections of the liner around her ankles where you can add in different thicknesses of these he’ll hold kits each boot comes with these and. This one’s five-millimeter sick this one’s three millimeters thick so if you have odd shape anko’s if you have ankle problems or issues and you want better heel hold you just slide one of those babies into that little pocket one. Of our team riders Kyle Kennedy puts the heel hold kits in his. Only his right ankle because he has a right ankle problem but overall. This is a really nice liner it does have upper support panels on both the lateral media side too so a little bit more supportive but overall the flex over the top of that toeside edge on this effort is gonna be just a little bit softer this thing also features this is a. Teen footbed it’s a dual density there’s a 3d molded can nae arch support moisture-wicking style top.

It’s just a big actually a pretty big step up from the standard evm older that you find in the comfort fit from 32 this is a rad boot you know if you’re a dad or a guy who. Just likes cruising around in bounds maybe dips to the trees a little bit below its something that has a little bit softer reflects with a traditional ace this is some really good mom that’s are the 32 is that for Jones came up one. Of the pro model boots that Jones has from 32 that you can check out at the house comm by selecting the link below in the description leave a comment or a question let me know what do you think of this thing here i think it looks good you know this is a nice sort of colorway to subscribe to the channel there check out more vince air, and we all see on stone.

Burton Chopper Snowboard – Boys’

The key to getting kids hooked on riding is to make it as easy and painless as possible, that way they’re continuously stoked on progressing. Realizing this, the Burton Kids’ Chopper Snowboard gets them up and riding with effortless mobility and catch-free turns. The Chopper starts young shredders on the right foot, with a ultra-soft flex pattern for easier turn initiation. This softer flex is essential for lighter kids rapidly progressing from linking first turns down the bunny hill to ripping up blue squares.

The twin shape of the Chopper allows for bi-directional balance when they’re mastering falling leaf before transitioning to heel-to-toe carving. It’s also a great choice when they’re unaware of their preferred riding direction, as regular and goofy will feel identical due to the board’s symmetrical geometry. Burton’s Flat profile offers predictable tracking and reliable edge hold without the overly aggressive feel of a traditional camber profile. Another progression-friendly feature are Easy Rider uplifted base edges. This means they’ll link turns without the repercussions of snagging an edge. And for towing the smallest of riders alongside the bunny hill, Burton includes a Riglet Reel on Choppers ranging from 80 to 120-centimeters in length.

  • Beginner snowboard focused on helping little ones succeed;
  • Flat Top profile prevents edge catches while encouraging edging;
  • Twin shape allows them to try regular or goofy in the same run;
  • Super soft flex encourages manipulation and control of the board;
  • Uplifted edges are forgiving when the board goes sideways;
  • Extruded bases can take impacts so that one board lasts a long time;
  • 80-120cm boards feature a riglet feature for learning before bindings;
  • Item #BUR02IQ.

Whoa hello I’m matt guff from house comm. This is 2016 burton chopper snowboard. And I’m on freestyle deck for those young riders beginner to advanced level inability that one board that does it all you can ride powder you can go into trees rip the park and learn how to carve on groomers with a chopper it’s. One of the industry’s long it’s kind of standing young kids boards it has a true. Twin shape that knows the tale of the exact same and the board will feel and ride the same way this direction as it does this way have a flat top profile. Shape that’s stable at high speeds but not overly aggressive or surfy underneath it in between the feet the board is flat with a slight rocker rise here those contact points to make the board a little more catch-free features. A very soft flex rating probably about a well to on the one-to-ten flex rating. Scale one thing of course very soft with that true — in stance you can ride. This board everywhere that’s one of the great things about the choppers that with that true twin shape even if. You don’t know or even if the rider doesn’t know what they can if they prefer to go this way they still have the ability to explore both options in size a fly core it’s a wood core that. Has both a by axe fiberglass on top and. On bottom and it kind of like a convex style of shaving so it’s a little bit more you know catch free than most young kid decks and a wonderful extruded. Styled base its extruded base of course is very little maintenance has a good amount of structure and it’s pretty darn fast features a 360 wrap standard steel edging in easy rider technology again. That makes the board a little more catch free this is a rad jacket it’s kind of burton chopper a lot of kids ride it you could probably ride it to make sure you check it out at the house calm thanks for watching remember to subscribe to the hospital shop youtube channel and leave a comment or a question below.

Whoa hello I’m at custom house calvin. This is a 2013 burton shoppers snowboard. And I’ll mountain freestyle deck design for those young bucks out there anyone with us beginner to advanced level skill. And just happens to be kid you’re going to love this deck it’s a limited edition chopper colorway with of course the toy. Story graphic so true twin style boards the nose and the tail are the exact same shape and it’s going to ride the same destruction as it does this way because. Of that twin shaping as a centered style stance a twin style flexing a feel and flex rating of a 3 on that 1 to 10 scale. It’s quite a bit softer than your average board because everyone’s going to riding is probably going to be pretty lightweight has a very awesome and stable profile shape called flat top. When you set the board on a flat snow it’s going to be flat underneath and in between the feet with a little bit of rise to lift up those contact points to. Make you more cash free inside is a very soft fly core that has both a by x. Fiberglass on bottom and on top that vioxx grass gives the board very consistent and smooth feel throughout its life it has a an extruded style base. With great structure or keep the board. Fast and very little maintenance but it’s a 360 wrap standard steel edge and. An easy rider edge 2 meaning that can be. Less likely for your sons or daughters to catch an edge when they learn how to rip on the chopper make sure to check it. Out at the house dot-com thanks for watching leave a comment or a question below and remember to subscribe to the house for chopped youtube channel right now.

So this is our kids chopper snowboard this is a great board to get all the. Little kids out on the snow it makes. Learning to snowboard super easy it is flat top which is very stable but it. Also has easy bevel so what that does is. It makes it much harder to catch an edge so as the little kids are learning to turn this board is going to make it really easy really catch free and just a. Fun forgiving ride another great thing. About this board you may notice it has these pads on it the reason for these pads is we made this snowboard thinner than our adult snowboards what these. Pads do is they just add a little bit extra cushioning underfoot but because the board is so thin it just evens out the binding to the screws so just an. Added little benefit to make snowboarding super easy.

Hello matt guff from mouse com this is a. Burden chopper snowboard it’s a board that a lot of riders started on it’s a. Twin shape has flat top technology meaning that the board is literally flat. And a very soft flex rating all the burton gras more you sports have a fluctuating between a one and a three being on the step stiff end of the scale one being the softest this is a one the flex rating is a one it’s. Super soft it has a twin flex now. Inside this 110 chopper is a fly core now just make a note that all the boards. Better 110 and above in the chopper series have a fly core all the boards and chava series that are size 100 and below have an unreal core now those. Cores are wrapped in a by ax fiberglass, and they have extruded base the base is. Going to stay fast you’re not going to really need to wax it at all and the. Pretty much the best piece of technology is actually the easy rider convex base. When riders are learning how to do falling leafs back and forth down the. Hill they literally will never catch. Their most downhill edge so there you have it this is the burton chopper this. Is the 110 old boards in the chopper series that are size 100 and below come. With a wriggly to pull option so. Riders can learn to stand under board on a flat surface and have their parents or guardians pull them along the way anyway. This isn’t burton chopper awesome board for those riders that have never done it before thanks for watching from the house comm.

Hello I’m matt guff from house.com and. This is a 2019 burton chopper snowboard. It’s a youth deck design for beginner to it’s a intermediate level young riders. Could have advanced level youth rather beyond it of course it’s just gonna be just a little bit softer and maybe not have as much performance as a like more. Aggressive rider would watch but this is a board where a lot of people start snowboarding this is the board that they ride it so it’s a true twin board it has. A twin style flex some nose and the tail or the exact same shape when you’re riding this way it’s gonna feel the same way when you ride it this way that’s why so many people that can like jump on this board first it’s really pliable and you can ride it any way that you really. Want to without it being too catchy now the chopper features a profile shape. Called flat top basically when you sit the board on flat snow or a table the board’s gonna be generally it’s gonna be flat it’s not rocker it’s not cambered. It’s kind of combination of both that flat still provides stability but still a little bit looser than the camber style feel but then there’s rockered on the contact point so lift up those contact points to make them a little less sketchy another great thing about the chopper board is that there’s an easy edge bevel so along the rails the. Depth or the base of the board near each. Rail or each edge the board is actually. Beveled up so it actually has a little. Bit of a kind of like a convex style shape to it so it’s even less likely to. Catch when you’re kind of like cruising down the hill learning to fall leaves now the board is very soft as you see i can flex I’m just by standing or sitting here it has a fly. Style core it’s a certified wood core it has by acts of fiberglass on top and. Vioxx fiberglass on bottom to give the board a very smooth and consistent style feel without making it too torsion ally. Rigid for young riders who don’t really happen to weigh much and as you see burton does a really good job at engineering their boards and do great graphics and stuff but the engineered. These decks in a way that’s very specific to the youth they don’t just take an adult board and just make it smaller on this board as you see is actually very thin it’s pliable it’s easy to maneuver and because it’s so thin the board actually has to have these mats on it because the. Insert packs need to be a certain depth to keep the bindings in place so these mats are there to accommodate the board’s thickness that helps the board. Ride better for young rider it’s actually pretty great that burton like goes this far into their youth boards they can’t care that much i want they want kids to have a really good time when they first start because you know. I’d rather have people spend money on their kids with snow or goodman and not on phone so why not make it the best. That they could be the basic is it very low maintenance it’s an extruded salvation really won’t have to do anything to it you don’t really have to lapse it throughout the season oh just be the way that it is and then there’s that 360 wrapped standard steel edge but again this is a very pliable style board any young rider who’s just learning how to ride can fall in love with it and any kind of intermediate to advanced level you spire can still have a lot of fun it’s a little bit softer a little bit more jiggy four of the park but you can take it anywhere from riding groomers to the parks even riding some deeper snow if you’d like this is the chopper from burton for 2019 you can see it at the. House calm i select in the link below in the description feel free to leave a comment a question check out more channel videos over there and subscribe right there and hopefully I’ll see you guys on snow peace.

Hello I’m matt guff from house.com and this is a 2018 burton chopper snowboard. A great I’m on freestyle deck design for a beginner to intermediate level riders who maybe just are getting into snowboarding for the first time or maybe they already know how to carve just a little bit but this is a like one of the best-selling like kind of first and beginner boards in the whole marketplace the burton chopper has a feeling flex of about a two it’s really soft on the one-to-ten flex rating scale one of course being very soft ten being very stiff um to makes this board very. Pliable for anyone who’s really lightweight and wants to be able to steer the board with their feet it’s a true twin deck the nose of the tail have. An identical style of shape you can ride a dis direction in this direction it’s gonna feel the exact same has a centered stance and a flat top profile basically. From contact point to contact point the board is flat there’s no camber there’s no rocker it’s. A combination of both but it’s a little bit easier to ride because of the easy edge bevel figure out the edges on the. Rail so the board is actually kind of like beveled up just a little bit so. It’s a lot less likely to catch your. Edge and that’s a good thing because when you first start to ride that’s the first things that happens you catch your head you fall and you stop snowboarding so this helps people ride snowboarding longer it helps them to learn a lot easier and then of course inside the board is not sfc certified. Wood core it’s got the fly core and that. Has a blocked glass on bottom and on top which gives the board a very smooth and consistent style ride and then one thing you may notice is are these little pads here that are near where the 3d holds. Patterns are those pads are there actually because the inserts need to be. A certain thickness to hold the bindings but the woods core is actually really think it’s been milled to benefit a young. And lightweight style rider, so they can bend the board in the shape that you need to start carving around the base. Of course is extruded this is a very. Low-maintenance base that’s gonna be the fat of fast on day one as it is on date one hundred romanians makes it easy for. Parents who have kids who snowboard and then lastly is a 360 wraps standard co edge with a radial side cut which makes perfect for riding the entire mountain this is an awesome little deck called the burton chopper that you can check out at the house dot-com at selecting the link below leave a comment or question let us know what do you think of this deck subscribe to the channel thereby smashing that red button and the check. Our more videos their thanks for watching hopefully I’ll see you guys on snow peace.

Dave here at the house talking about the. The Lightest weight snowboard i have in the shop because it’s short this is a burton. Chopper for the little boys this is my. Favorite board for them in the shop for a number of reasons first off it’s a. Burton’s really the only company. That has an active kids pro team doing. R&d; on their stuff and actually you know. You shouldn’t get scared away by the burton name these boards come in at a really good price point especially after you hear all the tech that I’m going to mention that goes into this board first off you got a cap. Construction on this one it’s going to. Be very light it’s also going to be torsion ally very forgiving with that type of construction the coolest. Technology i think on this one would be the base technology it bows ever so. Slightly like this when they go flat you. Can see the edge actually sits off of the table here what that’s going to do is it’s going to keep those kids from catching their edges which is definitely the most frustrating thing when you’re just getting into the board in my daughter has its the chiclet which I’m gonna do a before in a second here same kind of board same kind of technology it’s just amazing how well it works and. How you know less frustrated they are. They’re not catching their edge all the time from there even on they’re less. Expensive kids boards they’ll have a full tip to tail wood core which is very. Very nice flex on this one obviously it’s gonna be really soft which is nice. You want to you don’t want to be hard for the kids a flex or maneuver it’s got. An extruded base really good clarity to. It you’re not gonna have to wax this one as much it’s easier to repair if they abused their stuff which they always do but just a really durable easy to. Take care of construction the edge comes. Retuned from the factory so you have to. Worry about doing that this board is ready to rock right out of the bag for. Sure twin shape twin flex teaches them how to. Ride you can they also can take it and. The park and do the tricks with it as they advance quickly which they all especially with this board these shorter. Lengths will include this foam pad just because with the curvature of the board on the smaller lengths they have to have. This so that the binding has a stable platform to set on or sit on and it doesn’t push the board flat negating that technology other than that comes. With the go snowboarding sticker these things are awesome you sign up online after you buy the board you get a free learning to ride lesson at a burton authorized center and a free lift ticket so you know combined to those that can. Be you know up to the price of the board itself in a freebie so that’s really cool you also have this year the. Ability to attach the rig lit super cool. If you’re teaching them at like a little you know a hill at the golf course or something like that it’s basically a leash that you can attach onto the nose of the board and you can pull them up the hill or if you’re following them from behind you can control their speed making sure they don’t get out of control like i said definitely super. Good value in the kids board probably the most tech i have in any of the boards of the sides in the shop by far so check it out burton chopper super rad.

In this video, we’re gonna talk about the United Shapes pioneer part of their explorer line of boards. It’s a 156 and it’s one of those boards that’s versatile enough to ride the whole mountain. Whether you’re going in the park or your chased and pout and believe me I chased pow on this thing. Overall it’s fun. It’s forgiving, it’s not gonna kill you and you can ride it just about anywhere.

This board does have like a setback camber to it but it’s more like a camber 2.0 and you actually look at the profile of it instead of just having it arcs it like kind of comes up flattens comes down hits that rocker. In the nose so when you do load it up. You get pop and snap but it’s very easy to engage it doesn’t fight you and this. Board just wants to pop off anything in its path overall the pioneer comes in with one of. Those middle of the road flexes you got play in the tips you got a lot of torsional flex to it yet it’s still stable it’s very lively.

It’s a board that you can go up and go fast with and not worry about the chatter. But you can still play butter when you need to overall it’s playful that’s what you need to know about this board alright so. This board has cambered and that means it’s gonna pop you do have to load it up and when you do it snaps this board can. Handle jumps that’s all you need to know you look at the shape on this thing and you think it’s a powder board it’s not you can go out you can hit jumps and yet. Don’t have to worry about it the tips of this board are super playful and you can really get your weight out. Over them and just press into it that knows what that setback in that rocker is amazing you can pop 180 lock it in hold.

It snaps right back out and continue. On your way this board swivels and sizzles when you want to butter with it. And if you want a jib fuck it go jib. With it i did i know you will so that’s all you need to know you want to get sideways that camber profile is gonna hug the rail you wanna nose your tail press go for it. Don’t worry about it the side cut on. This board is quick and nimble it engages its edge hold and it stays locked in and it drives all the way. Through the car this is a board that when you see where you want to go and you get it on edge forget it’s on autopilot.

It’s just gonna cruise right over there and do what you needed to do. This is a board that it fucking rocks at. Carbon that’s all you need to know about it I’d recommend this board for anyone. That wants to buck the conventions of normality and ride something different. Go out slash have fun spray just play. Around on the whole mouth it’s great that’s that’s really who this is for so what boards are comparable to the Explorer from United Shapes.

Hi everyone! My name is Hunter. We’re here at the K2 boots and this is the Taro to my snow surfer. This boot is the culmination of more than two years of work. A couple trips to japan which was really fun for us in our developers but working hand-in-hand with Taro to by the snow surf and snowboard legend from Japan from Hokkaido a little town called Masako where he hand makes his own snowboards. He goes all around the Backcountry snowboarding fly-fishing and just kind of living the dream that we all kind of aspire to and look as he’s sort of master of snowboarding. And that clean fluid surfy style that is coming into popularity in the rest of the world.

So two years ago we struck a partnership with him to develop a boot that would perform the way. He’d always envisioned and to complement the boards that he makes himself. So this is the Snowsurfer. Some of the key technologies are really deep articulated. Cuff in these neoprene areas because the. Surfy style is really about knee angulation and mobility so wanted 360. Degree in mobility but still retain your heel and your ankle and have a nice comfortable waterproof fit at the bottom, so we’ve got a gusseted lower i stay for. Waterproof is a space heater liner which. Is new and featured on some of our other boots.

It’s a silver metallic material that reflects heat back at your foot just stay warm and also heavy asymmetry. To the point where we call this a directional flex. This boot flexes a lot more to the inside than the outside so that you can really drive your knee in and get that angulation whether you’re on a groomer and carving really hard or you’re you’re blasting through powder.

Correct knee position is super important to a nice clean flowing style and correct force direction into your board so Taro is really happy with it we’re really happy with it. As well we’ve been playing with these final revision samples for the last few months and just can’t believe how much it opens and you’re riding their boots shouldn’t hold you back they should let you do what you want move freely some a lot of. Our freestyle guys love them too because you can tweak and poke and really reach out on your board and butter in new ways so the snow surfer is an amazing project that we’re super excited to launch an essay a this year, and we. Look forward to working more with taro and making more radical stuff and. Having a reason to go to Japan every year so thanks for listening taro to my snow surfer subscribe. Subscribe and subscribe seriously right. Now, what are you waiting for?

What’s up, guys? Kevin here from Snowboard pro camp and in this video I’m reviewing the 2017 Burton Ion snowboard boot. The Ion is one of Britain’s most popular boots for a good reason. The reason that I picked up this boot is first in the store trying this boot on I really noticed that it held my heel in place very well which is really going to turn into performance on the mountain. The more heel hold. You have the more that will transfer into your snowboard whether your beginner or advanced so that was the first thing that really captured my attention then taking this boot up onto the mountain.

The thing I know is performance. Wise is that there I could really feel my snowboard performing under my feet so the sole of. This boot is got some cushion to relieve some of the impacts but it’s also thin enough so that you can really feel your board performing under your feet comfort wise. This boot was very comfortable to ride the liner is designed to keep your feet warm and dry at the same time so. Keeping the warmth in but then breathe the bowls to release the moisture so you don’t your feet aren’t getting wet.

The ion is also very convenient and quick to get in and out of because of the lacing system. It’s got the speed zone lacing so you can tighten it up in a few seconds. The one issue with that is I’ve had two laces break but there’s a lifetime warranty on the laces so both times my laces broke I took it into the shop and they replace the laces that day. So some good and bad there one thing that sometimes overlooked on snowboard boots is that the soul on this one and it’s got some hard rubber grips which is great if you’re doing any kind of climbing or hiking in your snowboard boots.

There were a few times last winter where I had to do some short and steep hikes on some slippery surfaces and this kept me from you know slipping and. Sliding down the mountain so that was really great the profile this boot is also designed to be a bit smaller. Then your boot size so if you have say size 11 or 12 feet it’s going to help. You to minimize the amount of toe or. Heel drag because the profile of the boot is designed to be a bit smaller than your shoe size the flex on the ion is an 8. Out of 10 which is good for all-mountain. It’s really going to be good for carving and getting performance out of your turns but I also found that this was soft enough for the terrain park so if we’re doing butters and tricks I really felt like it was still soft enough that I could get my body into position before doing those butters or tricks.

So great all-around boot and comfort performance and feel. I really recommend this boot if you want to check it out. I’ll put a link to it down in the description if you own the Burton Ion it’d be great to hear from you in the comments what are some of the pros and cons that you think or if you have a different boot you can tell us what you think of it and why you’d recommend that boot I’ll put a link to the snowboard gear playlist if you want to get more reviews and gear tips thanks for watching guys and I’ll see you in the next video soon

What up this is calm tactics boardshop. Right here looking at the 2017 burton. Ruler snowboard boot so this right here. Is gonna be kind of the boot for the. Resort rider so this is kind of prepared. To take you on the entire mountain it’s there for that pow day it’s gonna be a good park mood as well but really gonna. Kind of excel on those side hits on those groomers when you’re carving it kind of has like medium stiff flex like. You know it’s kind of hard to flex a boot but it when i put it on and like it. If felt didn’t feel like too stiff where like stabs you or like you feel kind of like stuck in this big boot but it definitely you know have like a little bit of support with also having just a little bit of five right there so it does have a dual zone speed lacing system so if you do like speed laced boots this is one of the best systems out on the market one thing that makes. These so great is that these new england ropes right here are virtually indestructible really strong really durable, and they also do have a lifetime warranty so if you do somehow manage to catch it on something and break it burton will go ahead and take care of you there the system is kind of like so. This top part right here is gonna adjust the top part of the boot and then this other side right here is gonna just the bottom so if you are on the mountain you don’t want to take your boot fully off you can just go ahead and just crank on that just adjust the area that’s feeling. Loose kind of micro adjust right there always good to have that’s one thing that traditional lacing systems do not have another cool thing about this. System that i like is when you are like letting go and loosening the boot this part right here like it kind of like makes a clicking noise so you know when it’s actually like loose and ready to pull on this cuz kind of sucks when you think it’s not locked in but it is and you’d like try to pull your foot out kind of you know can hurt your ankle or just kind of tweak you weird on the. Inside of this boot it’s gonna feature. Kind of this it’s its not like a full. Like harness like you see in some of the. Other burton boots or other boots but it does have that harness area right there. So it will keep that ankle down keep. Your heel lift from happening and just kind of keep you more secure more abell you know just feeling locked into. Your boot and then also down here you have this kind of like shiny aluminum foil like thing that’s gonna be burden sleeping bag technology just gonna work like a space blanket gonna kind of reflect heat keep that heat in the boot keep the cold out of the boot just keep you warm so your feet aren’t getting too cold up on the hill this boot is gonna. Feature in imprint 2 liners so what that is gonna feature your burtons insulate so burns insulate is basically a type of insulation that’s gonna be twice as warm as other installations of the same thickness so even though it’s a little thing right here on the side it’s still gonna be super warm keep you warm throughout the entire day mix with that space flake and on the bottom of the liner you’re gonna be staying kind of cozy in these it has. Velcro on the tongue right here which is another like necessity that i like to. Have in a snowboard boot i don’t like it when my tongues like doing this halfway through the day having this nice strong velcro right there what’s gonna keep that secure not gonna be sliding around too much on ya this one is also gonna feature the grip light back say so a. Really lightweight kind of like gripping right here so that’s gonna nice stay nice and grippy on your high back so you’re not getting popping out of there. Another thing about this boot is its firstly i know some i picked it up is it’s actually really lightweight this is a very feels very light especially for. Being a big old snowboard boot one last cool thing about this boot is it is gonna feature burton’s shrinkage technology so even though this boot is a. Size 9 it’s gonna have a footprint of a. Size 8 so it’s not gonna feel too big and clunky it’s gonna be really low-profile feel really good on your foot and not feel like you’re walking around a huge nowhere boot if you have any questions about this boot or any of the other burton boots feel free to drop a comment box below or check out the specs on tactics calm. You.

Hello matt guf from the house comm and. This is a 2019 burton ruler boa. Snowboard boot designer all my freestyle. Used for beginner to advanced level riders this is a great boot the ruler. Has been within the line for a lot 20-plus years and for good reason is that a lower price point and it has lots of key technology and now of course. There’s a couple different lease options this one is the double boa system there’s an upper and lower zone both the. One on the side controls the lower zone the one on the tongue controls the upper zone and it’s actually a boar coiler on. The tongue so it actually kind of goes in towards itself and then features new england ropes which feature a lifetime warranty now the bow I’d wheels are easy. To use you can tighten this upper section you can tighten the lower section generally i like my upper section a little bit more tight than my lower section for better circulation the support patterns that you kind of see throughout the upper shelf there’s actually kind of more of. Then than some of the other boots like the rampant the moto and of course the. Invader there’s a grip light style backside that has a kind of textured style material that helps you grip along the backside of that high back to your boot stays kind of in place a little bit. More there’s also a little bit of articulation or a little bit of flex match so that when you’re bending over that top of that toe side edge there’s less material pinching underneath your ankle strap underneath your foot there’s. A there’s a sleeping bag reflective. Phone that helps to keep heat inside your boots it actually reflects heat back towards your body there’s also b3 gel in that heel area. That helps to absorb impact inside of the est mid sole this mid sole is actually. Ultra thin as you kind of see you know it’s like not very thick at all but it still has the comforts of b3 and. Allows you to have better board feel because of how thin it is there’s also rubber in those high wear areas with a good amount of tread but again they’re not it’s not gigantic tread that kind of like loses board feel. This is the rulers have actually a really good board feel I’m also in size a locked up style cuff that you see it’s an integrated liner lacing. System that wraps around this entry to. This is a kind of thermal form style liner it’s heat moldable but you don’t need to heat mold it for it to kind of shape around your foot there’s external. Support panels in j-bars you know it’s the upper section doesn’t have a number section in the boots just a little bit softer that’s the same thing along this account backside there’s not as many support panel so you don’t get that high back style bite another cool thing about the boots is a feature shrinkage footprint reduction technology that gives us size 11 boot. You know an imprint on the snow of a. Size 10 so anyone besides you know 11 feet larger they generally tend to like. Boots that have that attack but well going back to this liner yeah there’s internal sustad j-bars to. That really help your heels lock into a heel pocket double velcro on their tongue to keep it centered and then man for up on top that’s kind it’s nice to the touch and then inside of that is this very easy and kind of simple. Footed it has a little bit of 3d contours for our support, and he’ll create on its one density it’s a little firmer perforations for breath ability and then a moisture wicking style top overall though the boa system for the. Ruler is easy it’s simple to get in and. Out of and you can control both upper and lower zones heat moldable liner this thing is like a showstopper if you let cruising the whole mountain of course this is gonna be a really good option at an awesome price point with tons of tech feel free to leave a comment or question let me know what you think of these things heater subscribe to the channel. There checking more vids that hopefully of course I’ll see you guys on snow

Hello I’m matt guff from house.com and. These are burton snowboard boots these. Ones are the bridge rulers those two are the burton moto’s and I’m gonna walk you. Through their similarities and there are differences and hopefully by the end of the video you be able to determine which boot is better for you and gaseous start. Out both a minute within the line for a. Long time the motorist is the number one selling snowboard boot in the world the ruler has been in a line for like 20 plus years, and they’re both for all-mountain freestyle use now the. Mottos could be said before like beginner to enemy level riders whereas the rulers kind of jump into the beginner to the advanced level ability. Because there’s just a little bit more tack now for like the $30.00 i think price spread you get a lot more in the. Ruler than you do of course in that mode. Of there’re similarities kind of fall. Kind of throughout the whole boot the biggest thing right away of course is gonna be that sleeping bag reflective foil that pushes heat back towards your body keeps your feet nice and warm they also have the shrinkage footprint reduction technology that puts this size-11 boot. Down to a full size to a size 10 both of. Then feature that so anyone with size 11 feet larger kind of likes that they don’t necessarily always need to go into account a wide style boot and then of. Course is the heat moldable liner so despite their differences they both have. The heat moldable ability so you can custom heat maldis but you don’t need a heat mulder for them to be a body. Heat activated you can just wear them, and they’re gonna mold to your feet both. Boots actually feature speed zone lacing systems that control both upper and lower zones and then there’s the boa. Lacing system too now the difference. Between that bela though is that the. Mojo actually has one boa coiler that tightens both the upper and lower zones whereas the bola on the ruler there’s. Two of them separate the upper and lower zones you can tighten them independently which is a really nice thing all the the laces that you see or the ropes are actually from new england ropes that have a lifetime warranty the models. Tongue just gonna be a little bit softer whereas the rulers tongue has it or it’s. Called like a power up tongue so it has a little bit of rebounds or a little bit of bounce back to you so if you’re over that top that toe side edge you once i can’t push back into the shape that it’s originally style formed you’ll notice to that the support panels on both. Which is just a little bit different there’s less support on the upper section on the medial lateral side of the moto and there’s no flex notches in. That mid step area whereas the ruler has a more supportive panel on the upside there’s a taller style back stay it. Actually has a actually has a grip light. Back say to sew the material is just a little bit more grippy and should stick to the back of your high back so then there’s also those flex notches in that mid step that allows the upper section that kind of fold over the top of the toe side edge without a lot of material pinching underneath your ankle strap then also inside of this thing so. This is a lock up style cuff on the. Ruler it actually wraps around this the. Slider whereas the modos integrated. Liner lacing system is actually on that heat moldable liner, and then we kind of move down into you like the outsole in the mid sauce and the model of course is. Extremely likely this is a dynamite style hood so there’s only just a little bit of rubber like right in the middle of the boot it’s lightweight but the tread will wear out just a little bit more it still gives you great board feel and then the ruler features an est kind. Of mid sole with b3 gel in the heel area. So it’s gonna absorb more impact from landings but it also has a little bit of rubber and those high wear areas it’s gonna last in just a little bit longer but because that est mid sole it’s ultra. Thin and gives you a lot of boards feel. And then there’re the liners again they’re both heat moldable the imprint. One that’s uh the emperor one skinny the imprint 1 + that you find in the moto. Again has a innovated liner lacing. System but both have like about the same amount of like support panels along the lateral media side they both have internal j-bars, and they both feature this footbed this. Is a kind of single density footbed a little bit of arch support and keel cradle perforations for breath ability and then a moisture wicking kind of like. Top sheet there but i actually prefer to. Have the infant tube because of that. Lock in cuff because the locking cuff is. I integrated into the internal part of the shell it helps like grip and keep. Your heel more in that back stay in that. Heel pocket area the ruler also features. A 3m insulate insulation that’s just gonna be a little bit warmer but again for like a thirty bucks difference you get a lot more technology. In that ruler than you’ll find at the motor however you know that the modal at. The price point is definitely unbeatable um both are great boots of. Course they can check out the house comm yeah if you’re looking to step if you’ve been in the moto you’re looking to step it up you know step it up into the ruler that’s a really good plate place to go you can take these in you anywhere from like free ride laps and to kind of park. Stuff again the rulers can be just a little bit more supportive in the medium flex rangerettes moto it’s gonna be in that softer flex range check them both out again at the house com leave a comment question let me know if you’ve ridden either of these and why you’ve done that subscribe to the channel check. Our more vids there hopefully i see on snow.

Hello I’m matt guf from the house comm and this is a burton ruler snowboard. Boot it’s the boot that pretty much can go from the peak to the park with no problems whatsoever it’s a high-tech boot that offers tons of support and. Tons of performance it’s part of the. Shrinkage footbed reduction technology. Boot line um my size 11 boot actually. Puts an imprint on the snow of a size 10. And it has total comfort construction meaning that this boot actually will ride the same on day 100 as it does on. Day 1 now the ruler has been around for. A long time I’ve rolled multiple rulers. In my days and it really is a well. Rounded boot that that pretty much does everything it doesn’t matter if you’re a free shot rider or a just a free rider this is a great boot the support rating is a little bit stiffer than average it’s rated as a six on the one-to-ten. Scale now of course you’ll see the. Lacing system is the speed zone lacing system for total zonal comfort there’s. Two different pull tabs one that tightens a lower section and one that tightens the upper section it’s great if you want to you know just kind of mix it. Up i tend to ride my boots loose down here and then super tight up here now the show the boot is great because. Well there’s some the power spine back. Stay of course there’s flex notches throughout and there’s the new power up. Medium flex thin profile 3d molded. Tongue so it’s a mouthful if the tongue is just a little bit beefier I’m not beefed your as in volume. But a little bit more it’s a little bit stiffer than traditional medium flex. Tongues and of course you’ll notice the. Lightweight 3 to 70 degree airbags that’s. On the outsole is has. Actually been kind of beefed up as well there’re rubber reinforcements in the heel and the toe area it’s a comfortable. Boom when you have those harsh landings that 270 airbag is going to help you. Absorb a little bit more of the impact. Now inside is going to be the imprint liner it’s a fully heat-moldable there’s a power panels on the side there’s. Manfor which is nice too soft and a locking velcro closure as well a lot of. Times people miss the nice j bars that. Burton puts in their liner so like there’s some of my favorite j bars because it really locks your heel into. The heel cup area of the boot now inside. Of this imprint 2 liners can be a level. One molded evie a foot bed now if you’re looking for a well-rounded boot like i said the burton ruler has been doing it. For a really long time and it probably will never stop check them out at the house com.

Hello everyone this is cameron tactics with the 2018 burton ruler step on snowboard boot through features single. Boa it’s a softer flexing boot good for your part guy intermediate rider just. Anybody that wants to have a good time and not take it too seriously i wrote this boot personally and really enjoyed it boots features an imprint 2 liners that is heat moldable so you can. Rock this for a few days and I’ll mold to your foot just fine that’s good also features three points that will anchor your boot and your binding you have one there and. Then also one on your heel and Achilles that’ll lock into the binding at first. Does a little skeptical about the system didn’t know how would feel but once i was actually in the boot and the binding didn’t really notice a difference it was really responsive just a good overall feel so i personally wrote this one in. The burton step on binding and it was a softer boot but with this different binding it kind of even everything out i made it just kind of mid stiffness once again this is camera tactics if you have any questions or comments feel free to drop them in the box below or just go to tactics calm and check it out. ThirtyTwo TM-Three Timberline Lace Snowboard Boot – Men’s ThirtyTwo boots

Renowned for its dialed terrain parks and long, summer shred days, it’s no wonder why ThirtyTwo wanted to pay tribute to Timberline Lodge with its own version of the TM-Three Timberline Lace Snowboard Boot. This boot provides locked-in support and a highly customizable feel for everything from waist-deep pow to park booters and double-kink rails. Its medium-level response is customizable with Recoil Flex Inserts, which provide additional support and stiffness when necessary, while the Exo Armor shell’s rugged construction refuses to break down over the course of the season.

This armored shell employs Storm Shield technology to prevent moisture from permeating through when you’re out in the backcountry for long periods of time. Perhaps its most noticeable feature is the newest Elite liner by ThirtyTwo, which brings a premium fit and feel usually reserved for high-end freeride boots. The Elite liner features Energy foam panels, combined with heat-moldable Intuition foam to masterfully conform to the shape of your foot and shin. It’s built a bit taller with a special harness system to really lock down your heel and ankle, as to prevent heel lift when you’re ripping around the mountain at high speeds.

  • Premium all-terrain boot inspired by Timberline Lodge;
  • Medium flex with Recoil inserts add support;
  • Traditional laces with Heel Hold System for locked-down fit;
  • EXO Armor shell prevents breakdown over the entire season;

  • Beginner snowboard focused on helping little ones succeed;
  • Flat Top profile prevents edge catches while encouraging edging;
  • Twin shape allows them to try regular or goofy in the same run;
  • Super soft flex encourages manipulation and control of the board;
  • Uplifted edges are forgiving when the board goes sideways;
  • Extruded bases can take impacts so that one board lasts a long time;
  • 80-120cm boards feature a riglet feature for learning before bindings;
  • Similar to Burton custom snowboard;
  • Item #BUR02IQ.

Yo! Matt Guff here for the House Snowboard Shop. This is the Burton Chopper who needs a pizza woods where you can have the whole pie and you can have the whole pie with this thing because you can master balance and control with this snowboard. It’s part of the double chair package and has the easy rider convex bend shape.

That’s right, it’s convex on the bottom that I just actually lift up off the snow so if you’re a router looking to get a little bit better or learn how to snowboard this is going to be a great entry-level snowboard into the sport of snowboarding. The duty cube shape is going to be playful and fun. You can ride both directions but the board has a twin shape and twin flex as well. Other spots raining or the feel rating is of one it’s gonna be the softest board or one. Of the stops of sports and the Burton youth board line. Now, the difference in wood core is go to fly core eventually forced into from rail to rail in the. Sizes 110 to 130 but in the size of 80. To 100 there is the unreal synthetic core now these cores are wrapped in by Axe fiberglass that one in two to the directions at 90 degrees and at zero degrees of ix5 degrees is going to allow a junior lightweight rider then to flex in the board with a lot of ease.

The extruded base shows a lot of color pop, as you can see, and it’s gonna be low maintenance. You’re not gonna have to wax this thing all the time you won’t have to bring it to the shop to get it maintained because this thing is gonna be durable it can be fast all season long the round the top sidewalls. I’m gonna be durable, or they’re gonna be you’re gonna have no problems with them basically the cool grab at the slimy little monster graphic was done by a guy named Matthew skip this is the burton. Chopper you can do anything with this board at the entry level you can learn. To master snowboarding with this check. It out burton chowder. You.

Its medium-level response is customizable with Recoil Flex Inserts, which provide additional support and stiffness when necessary, while the Exo Armor shell’s rugged construction refuses to break down over the course of the season.

The Elite liner features Energy foam panels, combined with heat-moldable Intuition foam to masterfully conform to the shape of your foot and shin. I am not informed listen i bought stock idk I’m just going to e3 2016 30 t. Lashed this is the bradshaw colorway the. Last is the most popular beat from 30. I’m definitely with good reason it comes. In just over 200 pounds and it’s got. Like a lot of going on and for that price, so we’ve got the traditional. Lacing on the front say you know looks. Really good works well easy to replace. Should you get an issue with it with the last it’s a mid flexing boot and so I’d. Say mid kind of going towards the soft. End of the range we’ve got a couple of nice features in terms of the flex one. Of them is this kind of cutout on here. So we’ve got an articulated cuff well that means is that when the boot flexes okay actually allows the two. Parts of the boot to kind of rub past. Each other rather than pushing outwards I’m so mean she maintained a really good. Hill holding the ankle even when you’re kind of flexing forward. On your beat we’re so nice about this. Year’s model it’s the back stay on here say quite rigid that’s that’s helping. Gives you know some stiffness to the beat and also it’s got a really nice kind of rubber finish to it so that’s. Great when it’s up against the back of your binding and in terms of durability. With the sole we’ve got the evolution. Foam sole so incredibly lightweight and. Really good at absorbing shock you know. Overall it’s very lightweight boot and. Inside we’ve got our level 2 liners from. 32 so we’ll just show you the inside of. The boot as well talk about the liner so. When you go up to a level 2 liners from a level 1 with 30 one of the features is. That you have the lacing system inside. The boot rather than being attached to the liner. Ok so that you have a piece of mesh around here so when you do your liner up. It weird in cases around your ankles so again just really increase the support and it holds the liner firmly in the buuut as well say just increases the. Response that you get as well from that. And sea level to liner is again. Intuition foam from 30 t so that is heat moldable which we can do in store at no. Extra charge we’ve also got a neoprene. Toe cap here and so what that means. Are you can get a nice close-fitting boot but your toes aren’t banging against the. End of the liner okay, so he just decreases the chance of kind of getting any discomfort allowing you to keep it a. Nice good fitting boot and I’ll say. Inside the footbed on the level t is. Again upgraded from a level one and so. To show you the comparison here you’ve. Got your level one foot bed from the 30 tb and say fairly thin piece of foam and. You can see here had the level 2 footbeds. You’ve got the hill shank got a bit more support in that as well obviously you can swap these out and get. A custom insole or something and. Aftermarket but it’s just another nice thing that comes with the boot has an upgrade see the last again is i would. Say 30 call it a medium flex I’d say. It’s medium to soft say really does suit. A large variety of riders some days. Looking for a boot that’s nice and flexible but you know it gives you. Enough back enough in terms of fit and nothing terms of flex to ride the whole mountain so i wrote the 30 lashed all of last. Season so yeah really good beer and i. Definitely recommend it, and we’re loving the bradshaw colorway for this year so that’s the 2016 30 t lashed.

Hello I’m matt guff from house.com and. This is a pair of two thousand 1932 last. Crab grab collab snowboard boots they’re. Designed for all mon freestyle use for a basically beginner to advanced level riders this is a really cool collab that. Has been going on for quite some time now this boot is part of the last. Collection there’s regular lash the double boa the santa cruz and of course the last premium this is just like i don’t want to say just another one but this is another one that resembles a lot. The regular last that has traditional laces but there’s a few key differences there articulations a little bit different there’s a double i stay. Instead of a single i say that happens to be a little bit larger than the other one but overall this may be one of my favorite looking boots for from 32 for. The 2019 season its part of the routine. Fit collection it has a little bit more performance than what you find in the comfort fit and it has a feel and flex rating of a six which is stiffer than your average boot and that’s what kind of makes it so great for all-mountain use like most people have thought of the. Lash as being just like a very freestyle oriented boot but you can write. Goose with it you can ride you know like side country if you’d like and you’re gonna have something that’s gonna be supportive and well-rounded it has of course traditional laces it has a 3d molded tongue with gussets has a very even style flexing here over the top of that toe side edge because of the articulation on the lateral and medial sides of the upper section however i. Feel like the articulation is just a little smaller than what you’ll find in. The other lashed and then the independent ice stays are actually double there’s a little crab that has a. Independence and then there’s a good double loop there the reason that the 32. Does that independent i see it actually just wraps over the top of your foot better instead of just like smashing all the material together you get a better wrapped style fits a little bit more snug and secure and then of course ya with that traditional lace you could still have independent zones of tightness so you can have a persona that’s tight in a lower zone that happens to be just a little bit loose and there’s also this wonderful performance style backstage notice how it can rapture on the lateral media sides a little bit but it still has a soft top so you don’t get that boot or high backbite when you’re on your heel side edge and another kind of cool. Think about it is that they have that abrasion resistant style toe box too so if you’re like kicking around you’re hiking a bunch you’ll be less likely to kind of wear through a synthetic leather or man-made material or another and uh. And this one just seems to be just a little bit more abrasion resistant it’s kind of grippy too so if you have like a toe strap that goes on the front. Near taos, it’s a meat grip just a little bit better cuz it just feels like its kind of tacky almost um one thing that. You should know definitely about the last crab grab is that it has a one torn. Last that means that the liner size. Matches perfectly up with the shell size. Some manufacturers put a nine and a half boot inside of a ten liner thirty-two. Doesn’t do that with the crab grab which is nice because you get the best fit you possibly can underneath your foot in the last grab is this sole this is the evolution the sei evolution also has. Lots of great like tread to it but it’s film so it’s extremely lightweight but. It’s gonna wear out just a little bit faster than traditional rubber but that’s the price you pay for having a really lightweight boot sometimes you have to make some sacrifices inside of this thing or that thing is gonna be this is a dual density intuition. Foam heat moldable liner you don’t need to heat mold it your body heat will actually activate the molding process has like a neoprene toe box you don’t like spread out and then of course there’s a heel hold kit which is really nice so if you get is you get a lot of heels lift within your boots which you probably won’t with the team liner. Because it has exaggerated internal j-bars but if you do each boot comes with these. These are the heel hold kits of 5 million 5 millimeter thick foam or ring. And this is a three known they’re thick or ring you can place those wherever you’d like for a better and more customizable style fit so you will. Literally not have any heel lift in a thirty-two boot if you use these appropriately which is nice there’s a power strap up on top and of course it’s gonna be a little bit softer along the backside perimeter to match up with that shall shape and feel and then of course there’s this is the team foot bit. A dual density kind of heel cradle and. Arch support a little bit but it still you probably mash out but it has a motion weakening style of top and 3d kind of contour overall though this. Again is one of my favorite looking boots from the 32 line for this year grab-grab does some great things bring it back to stomp pads and lots of other stuff i dig this thing. Two thumbs up you can check it out the house comm by selecting the link below. In the description this is a really great boot subscribe to the channel there check out more vids there and remember to leave a comment peace.

Hello I’m matt guff from house.com and. This is a 2000 1932 santa cruz lashed. Snowboard boot designed for almonte freestyle use for beginner to advanced level riders this is a really cool cold. Out between santa cruz and a 32 inch. Boot as you see it has a different graphic to it has a skate style feel. When you’re riding him in a team fit and. Performance overall though the santa cruz lash will have a feeling fluctuating of a six little bit stiffer than your average boot that’s why these do really well basically all over the mountain, but they’re gonna feel more like a freestyle boot than an all-mountain boot because of this performance rubber style up sole that has zero drop there’s a traditional. Lacing system it’s of course easy to use it’s just like lacing up your shoes and then there’s a lot of stuff happening with the shell of the santa cruz lashed the first one is actually this performance style back states again this rubber abrasion resistance style material that kind of wraps around those upper sections that gives you a good amount of performance when you’re leaning back on that heel side edge but it’s surprisingly enough it’s gonna be a little bit softer along the top section so you don’t get boot and high back bite on your calf there’s also articulation. Just a little bit of articulation that separates upper zones from the lower zone so when you’re flexing over the top of that toe side edge the upper zone will flex independently of that lower zone and there’s also that 3d molded even flexing tongue it’s very consistent style feel when you’re over the top of the toe side edge with the santa cruz lash which is nice because it’s not like getting to a flex point and then just kind of gives out it actually can support you and brings you all the way back when you need to bring you back there’s also independent ices. Independent kind of like wrap wrapping around the forefront of your foot that actually feels like a really snug feeling so I’m just smashing a bunch of material together underneath your foot. Is actually yes this is pretty great this is a performance rubber outsole it’s roberts gonna be a little heavier than what you’ll find some of the other last series boots like the sti evolution. Outsold foam outsole but it’ll give you. A little bit more if a sturdy style feel directly underneath your foot while also giving you great board feel because. They’re actually pretty vinh now inside this show is a team. Style harness this harness features a integrated liner lacing system and the. Harness actually only goes up about halfway throughout that shall the upper zones are gonna be just a little bit softer there then it features this. Is that the team dual density intuition. Liner now this thing is pretty special. Because even though other brands have intuition foam they don’t have the same stuff that 32 has its custom heat. Foldable of course but you don’t need to heat molded for you to have a perfect. Fit your body heat gradually mold its. Shape as a neoprene style toe box which is nice support panels along the lateral and medial side a power strap up on top. Internal like exaggerated the large j. Bars which i really like for heel hold and then of course the heel hold kit now. This these little pockets on the lateral and medial side of the liner feature. Opportunity to put these little rings inside this is five millimeters thick. This is three millimeters thick and you can customize the fit of that heel area. In ankle area in size the santa cruz lash which is really great because if you have ankle problems if you have small or big ankles you can customize how this thing is going to fit to you but I’d have to say keep molding first. And then probably add in these uh these. He’ll hold kits later as you kind of feel out the ride of the santa cruz boot and then there’s this thing this is the team footbed moisture wicking style top. Do a density a little bit of a heel create an arch support just a little bit not too much but overall this is a well. Rounded boot it does extremely well in the parks because of that footbed but you can still take it all over the mountain because of the you know firmer flex rating of a six this is a rad boot. Looks really cool performs great this is a 32 santa cruz lashed and you can check. It out at the house comm i select the link below in the description leave a comment or a question let me know what do you think of these things here subscribe to the channel there we’re about to like just past 31 I’m almost. 30,000 subscribers which is a huge thing so thanks so much for doing that and then of course check out all the other videos there peace out. Obviously on snow.

Hello I’m matt guf house.com and this is. A great boot called the 2000 1932 laughs. Double boa it’s a high performance boot that anyone can ride basically anywhere. It’s for all on freestyle use from the parks to the powder from beginners to advanced level riders whoever rides them. It’s gonna have a good time actually fit really well to have custom heat inaudible liners and of course this double boa system overall though the. Last double blow will have a feeling flex rating of a six so a little bit stiffer than your average boot because of the upper support panels and of course this team style liner is part of the team fit collection so there’s gonna be a little bit more performance in it and it’s gonna be a little more performance driven the lacing system is. Double blow off the side dial it tightens one section the one on the tongue tightens the other one which is actually a bullock oiler on the tongue it actually feeds the housing in the. Cable of the easier if you want convenience of getting it out of your boots really fast the double bow system is nice and you get the opportunity to. Tighten independent zone so if you like this section super tight like i do you can have it tight and you can have this section loose or a little bit you know. What kind of softer if you’d like to know the blued features something called storm shield it’s actually a seal in all. Of those seams so the weather is gonna actually stay out there would be normally sure getting inside of the boot also features articulation so there’s a actually flex notches that separate the upper and lower zones on the lateral and medial sides of the boot so when you bend over that top of that toe side edge you know i can get a lot of material bunchy underneath your ankle strap and makes the boot flex better and you know just a little bit more comfortable there’s independent ice stays which is a great thing the 32 is one of the first. Boots to kind of do that they have material that kind of wraps around the forefront of the boot and kind of hugs. The boot instead of pushing all the material came together when you tighten it and then of course there’s gonna be a performance style back stay its give me a little bit stiffer of a back then what you find in any of the other like price point boots from 32 but still. Enough there’s going to be a soft section in that top back area so. When you’re on that heel side edge it’s. Not gonna it’s not hurt it’s not gonna pinch then there’s that you know that 3d molded tongue it’s even flex or you over that tops the. Toe side edge with that articulation it has a nice smooth and consistent style flex the sole on the double blast is. Actually a sti evolution outsole foam. It’s super lightweight and i really like. That 32 does not it’s really shock. Absorption absorbent and uh it has a. Good amount of tread to it but it will wear down a little quicker then of course rubber will but that’s the price. You pay for having a super light boot like the double boa now inside of this. Shell is the team style harness now it’s. A lacing system that wraps around the. Team liner it goes up about half-way inside of the shell so it has a little bit more free-flowing feel along those. Upper sections the tee fin liner is great. It has a power strap up on top is. A dual density evh style foam of their’s. A lot of brands that have intuition style phone, but they don’t have this dual density kind that 32 does this is. Exclusive only to 32 there’s he’ll he’ll. Hold system which is pretty cool to each. Boot actually comes with he’ll a he’ll hold kits this is like five millimeter thick pads this is a three millimeter. Thick pad so if you get feels like. Really narrow ankles if you don’t like the way the ankle area hold your foot in. You can add these into those little. Pockets for a more customized style fit it’s actually pretty awesome and protect i don’t think there’s really anyone else doing this extensive of that kind of enhancement for a liner like in all of. Then basically all of their boots inside. Of this liner is this team footbed it’s a dual density there’s a little bit of arch support inner heel credo not too much 3d molding in a moisture wicking style top overall though if you want to. Keep mold these bad boys you can do that but you don’t need to because the intuition heat normal liners are actually body heat activated tube if you like these things you like the convenience of a double bowl in a lightweight kind of show with a little bit more performance you can get it in this thing this is the lash double boa part of the last series there’s a couple other ones there’s a santa cruz one crab grab and there’s a premium there’s a lot of boots within the last collection now and you know it’s kind of good thing because this is a really great all-mountain freestyle. Boot that anyone can wear check it out at the house calm eye selecting the link below in the description leave a comment or a question let me know what you think of this subscribe to the channel there check out more vids there and hopefully I’ll see you on snow peas.

Hey! I’m Harry from Deeluxe. I’m in charge of the development at Deeluxe and I go show you the new backcountry line for next season. I start with the Explorer. It’s the model that’s new to the line. After the feedback from a lot of riders we decided that we want to bring an old working combination that everybody’s in love with which is the traditional lacing that’s unbeatable.

That’s easy to replace and combine it with a boa for the anchor so the Explorer comes in the C3 construction for foot ankle and top are separated. The anchor part can be. laced with the boar system so you can keep it loose by you hike up. You don’t lose in comfort and then you close the lace for the weight order.

It also features the ice trek Vibram outsole that’s ultra-resistant and got a good trip on ice. We still have the back well so you can use semi-automatic tramp. We have a rubber protection toke app and then the rubber print all around to keep your boot lasting for a long time.

The Explorer comes in different line of setups. We recommend that you go to your shop and mall got a custom fit that will help to be blister free and have a good season so it’s the new model in the line – Explorer.

How to choose the best freeride snowboard boots?

Here the factors which define proper boots for freeriding or freestyle snowboard boots:

  • Flexibility/stiffness;

Most freeriders prefer stiff or medium-stiff boots. They are marked as 7/10 – 10/10 on a stiffness scale.

  • Response;

Freeriding demands the ability to turn sharply at one moment. That’s why boot’s response is an essential feature.

  • Heel hold;

Firm heel hold provides predictability of movement and your safety while riding. Also, it influences the response and can slow it down if your heel isn’t held securely.
