Permatex is known for providing a wide selection of cutting edge products for many mechanicals. And general assembly applications At Gregg’s. We provide a wide selection of Permatex products including sealants gasket makers cleaners. And a bunch more! In. This video we’re going to be talking about threadlockers can be used on. Most metals and alloys in a range of different temperatures These products cure in the absence of air They do not dry As seen here typically there is a 15% metal contact vs 85% airspace leaving fasteners open to the damaging effects of leakage. And corrosion Permatex Threadlockers fill. This airspace and cure to a hard substance to create a single unitized assembly The hard substance remains in a solid form until force. Or direct heat is applied At. This point you may be wondering why a thread locker would be used? Here’s why! The number. One reason for unexpected failure to equipment is fastener failure If used thread lockers will prevent damage to fasteners a bond is created which prevents dirt. And moisture from entering when used the thread locker will seal air gaps which eliminates movement preventing loosening due to vibration As well thread lockers lubricate the fittings prior to curing Now. That we’ve covered the benefits of thread lockers lets find out which product is right for you! High Strength RED: This is a great product for locking threaded fasteners High Temperature RED: This is a perfect product for use on new engines requiring extreme temperature applications Large Diameter Threadlike RED: This is a great product for bolts.
Or studs one inch in diameter. Or larger Permanent Strength RED: This will withstand heavy shock vibrations. And extreme conditions Medium Strength BLUE: Is good for nuts. And bolts a quarter of an inch to three quarters of. And inch Low Strength PURPLE: This is used with fasteners under a quarter of an inch. Or fine threads needing occasional adjustments And lastly its the penetrating GREEN grade: This is to be used on nuts. And bolts up to half of an inch Once you’ve determined. What thread locker is needed you’re ready for application There are three different methods depending on your application It’s also important to note. That regardless of the application. You should always be sure to clean. All of your parts first For through hole applications apply a.
Few drops at the threaded engagement location then tighten to the recommended torque strength Your vehicle can. Now return to service Next up is the blind hole application First. You want to apply a. Few drops directly into the holes The air pressure created forces thread locker to fill in the air gaps Now tighten to recommended torque strength. And your vehicle can resume to use And lastly with a post assembly application. You need to use the wicking green grade Simply apply a. Few drops just below the head of the fastener The low viscosity will help the thread lockers "wick" down on the threads This will help thread lockers fill. Any air gaps completely Finally the vehicle can return to its normal use The Permatex thread locker line.

We will be arrr matey. This is the captain speaking I mean skin guys Kimmel guns here freedom. Iam Frankenstein at least that’s. What I feel like I have to use. These at the range these are traditional scope covers the stringy springy crappy kind. They get lost very easily. And they’re cumbersome. And they’re just a joke so. Ibought something different. Ibought Butler Creek yeah that’s right. Ibought the flip-open scope covers the springy kind. Ireally like they were cheap $699 is. Ipaid for them I took my scope in. Ifitted them myself bought. Each end and loved them. These on my Smith and Wesson M&P; 15-22 scope. Ijust bought a cheap NC star scope from ebay. Ireally like what these do. These eliminate the losing scope cover problem. And not to mention those stringy springy things. They drive you crazy anyway so having these able to flick your thumb. And have them pop up such a nice thing oh yeah. Iwant to show what it looks like here. We have just a seemingly ordinary Smith & Wesson M&P; 15-22 with scope the scope has been outfitted with the Butler Creek flip-open scope covers.
What I like most about. These scope covers is the fact. You don’t have to worry about losing them. You can simply flip them closed. When you’re done with them. And don’t worry about losing them they’re pretty rugged. You could drop your gun. Even worry about breaking these. Idon’t think they feel like a rubberized polymer. Or plastic I think they’re plastic. And rubber and a little bit of. Everything mixed in but. They are supposed to be waterproof. And it’s supposed to be quiet. You open them let’s see. We can hear anything when. You open them something so they’re not. That quiet, but they are pretty cool the scope covers have been tested from 120 degrees to negative 40 degrees Fahrenheit so.
Iguess that’s by the factory. And apparently they work. They close one mounted on the scope. And best thing is you can use them. If you’re right or left-handed. They have the either side yeah click. And bolt them up so. You just split them up with your thumbs. They spring open, and they’re supposed to be fast. And quiet but I really like them like said for 6 bucks aside. You spend like $14 per side they’re cheap. And effective not too bad. You guys like my videos please like subscribe share in my channel. Ireally appreciate. It leaves comments down below in the comment section. And I’ll see you in my next video thanks for watching and have a great day.
Welcome, Texas gunsmith here today. Some new toys in so. Ithought I’d share. One of really my best surprises was. This optic male from vortex it’s a cantilever ring male 30 millimeter rings would a 2-inch offset. This is the box in the part number. Ireally had no intention of making a video on. Iopened the box and saw the craftsmanship of. Ithought the machining was really nice and. It felt really heavy. And solid I thought. You know what it’s its really nice and. Iought to do a little video. And share with anybody who might be interested. It is a little bit heavyweight wise at 67 ounces but. It feels like a good heavy it’s its really solid. Ithink you’ll probably break multiple scopes before. You ever hurt this optic male it’s not quick-release which may be a minus for some but. Ibought it to mount on an a K. And for an a K I don’t need a quick-release on the scope mount. Because a Kay’s I already have the quick-release on their side mount optic mounts so. Iwanted something. That was going to flex. More firmly I thought. This would do the trick. And also I thought the price point was right the two-inch offset from vortex comes in at about 89 dollars depending on where. You shop they also make a three-inch offset which. Ithink falls in about ninety-nine dollars. This would be the offset, so I’m two inches offset here at a three inch would come out.
More so in just looking at the pictures. II wasn’t sure I trusted. That three inch and after feel neces I’m sure it’s probably good but at. Any rate I thought the two-inch would work for my eye relief anyway. Ithought I’d give it a shot. And boy what a pleasant surprise. Istill need to mount. And shoot a rifle and things like. That but just taking a real close look at. Ithought you know boy it’s really nice and it’s solid so. When mounted on the router rings take. You 159 above the rail. And our dimensions between the Rings are two. And a half inches like. Isaid the weight is a touch heavy at a six point seven but. It feels really solid. Iexpect us to last well past probably the life of.
Any of the scopes I’m going to put in. It so oh hopefully not but. You know what I mean so it’s I’m going to take. Some take this optical off. And mount it up after. We pause for a moment let. You see but you could mount. It anywhere on there the. One thing I don’t like about. It is the hardware takes Torx head screws so. Ireally would prefer allen screws but. These are Torx bits so. It comes with it Torx bit in the. It comes with it in the box so you’re fine there. Ijust find Allen’s are a little bit. Easier to use, and we’re a little bit easier to have around. And Torx bet drivers so. That would have been nice but aside from. Idon’t really have. Any complaints I’m going to pause for a moment.
And we’ll take a look at what it looks like mounted up on a rifle. All right what we look like so the optic. Igot is a vortex Viper PST. One two four by 24, and we’re mounted on the RS regulate side optic mount there. It looks pretty good so my cheek weld still works my eye relief is pretty good right here. You like I should also mention. That the optic mount also comes with the vortexes VIP warranty which pretty much regardless of why it’s damaged. You can send it back they’ll fix. Or replace it for you so that’s pretty handy at. Any rate what it looks like hope. You liked it Texas gunsmith out.
The last tubers peppermints. Ibought did not climb properly on a rail the reason for this is a manufacturing defect. One had a quick-detach lever. That worked properly. That didn’t I contacted burst. They instantly assumed. Iwas doing something wrong. Some companies forever warranty doesn’t mean much. Isuppose anyway the purpose of. This video is to show. How to quickly fix the defect in the Burris mount. And also avoid wasting your time. And money on not so forever warranty. And maybe consider a company whose warranty is rock-solid okay I’ve taken. One of the mounts apart. And it’s kind of hard to see but I’ll put them side-by-side here with the arm side by side. You can see that the shoulder links their machine differently. Idon’t know you can see. That properly one on the left is a lot shorter. Than the one on the right. It sits between $2500030. It makes a huge difference. That causes that pin to hook so. One solution you can file the corners down just allow to travel forward further so. It doesn’t hook that Indian. That pin another solution is to just take. And grind one of the pins down a little bit. You know like I said it’s only about a thirty-third difference but. It makes it a pain in the rear end to try. And adjust so it’s probably the easiest to just grind the pin down. You mess with the coating on the arms. You might run into a corrosion issues things like. That so anyway that helps. And maybe consider buying something different.
Hey guys some equipment at bait for you for a little piece to gear it’s. Igo on my m4 it comes to mounting optics to your ear AR. Any rifle there’s a lot of choices out there specifically I’m. This is going to mostly deal with the ARS generally. Us prefer to run optics on our guns nowadays there’s. Some people who still like to use iron sights but like T’s. Is like to see some kind of optic specialist in surprises Bridey optics have dropped a lot. Anything from a scope to a red-dot is pretty common to see on. Most ar-15s nowadays. Iwanted to show one as a inexpensive but pretty nice alternative to. Some high-end mounts out there. Most common mount STM for. Either end points or scopes. Some eight cogs is a little remove quick detach mounts. Ilike the remotes one on my LWR sees. You guys have seen from a red dot. However they’re not cheap they’re high-quality, but they’re pretty expensive so. Iwould chop around for a high-quality mount. That wasn’t quite so expensive. Iran across this burse AR p PEP our proper eye position ready Burris 30 millimeter. It repa mount I really liked. It for mother reviews ever. Ithought I’d really like a family reviews I’ve read so. Iwant to order it out on my own. Now there’re two versions of. This is the standard version. And there is a quick detach version so for every out there who’s like oh. Ican’t deal with I got a quick catch my backup iron sights well don’t worry about. They got a quick detach version too so let’s open. It up let’s check it out alright so here’s a close-up look at the verse a sight it’s very heavy-duty.
You can see how thick. That the metal is on. Ibelieve this is aluminum it’s a really heavy-duty really a well-built. It is made in China so for you people who want to support. You know the old America business idea. This may not be for you. It is the Chinese made mount for me. It doesn’t really matter as long as. It works I don’t care who makes. It but uh yeah it’s really well-built. Some unique features on. Ikind of liked you notice the top. This Pirating rail built on top. Now bursts I believe the burst speed dot red dot will actually fit. And just over the oversize for these mounts. And probably other red dots out there too so. This is pretty neat. You want to mount like an observation scope. Or a small red dot to. Something you have to think a. While but I want to a red dot to a scope well. You have a rifle scope a lot of people attach a red dot to. It for CQB in fact there’s a couple a cogs out there.
That are sold as the ACOG. And in the red dot attached to the top so it’s not uncommon it’s a it’s been used before so that’s pretty neat but. You don’t want to do. They do have the standard tops to them, so they’re nice and smooth. You want to do that option so let’s produce I’m gonna install on the rifle. And then we’ll see it goes alright well like. All scope mounts its pretty easy to install just needed a decent size wrench. Or ratchet be careful. When you’re installing this. These are aluminum they’re really heavy-duty aluminum. You don’t want to work. Or over torque them. Iwould actually recommend. If you’ve got one to use a torque wrench. Ican’t remember the setting is its on Bursa site but just don’t go crazy. When you’re torquing it down. You can pretty you can strip. You overdo it but yeah. You can see it has really good clearance over the mag pull back up polymer iron sights. When the column, so I’m thinking this will work quite well.
It says it’s designed specifically for an AR moves the scope out-of-the-way gets. You good eye relief. And looking forward to trying it out with my optic. Now your first probably asking me well. You know that’s awesome look. What optic are you going to eat as well. You probably know what this is. And I’ll do a review for it in a couple days. And tell what I think about. And you’ll just have to wait till then.

This great hey guys. And welcome gauzy reviews well don’t check out the Ruger American rim fire rifle in 22lr. This rifle here comes in different calibers. You can get it in 1:7 HMO. And also in 22 Magnums but the. One I’ve got here is the 22lr. And it’s in the standard length akane. You can get this rifle in two different lengths the standard. And the compact so basically the difference is. And I’ll go into this just before. We look at their specs up place with the rifle the standard rifle has a 22-inch barrel. And the compact has an 18-inch barrel also — you’ll find. That you’ve got these extra stock modules have come with the Ruger American rim fire. These are completely interchangeable so with the standard ones they’re a little bit longer. And the compact ones obviously a bit shorter so. You want something I guess a rifle for say a youngster for example then the compact. One would probably be my preference in. That regard you are an adult. You just want something it is a little bit lighter weight a bit. More compact then you can go for one of them as well the good thing is doesn’t matter. What stock module you have so.
If you’ve got saying these which is the standard length of pull stock module. These will fit even a compact rifle okay. You can buy the extras from shop bruger comm so really good so. You don’t have to be sort of. Iguess restricted to. You know compact or standard model. You can sort of interchange. These stock module past, so I’ll go into. This in just a bit more detail a bit further in the review so as for the overall length of. It basically you know the standard model is 41 inches. Or 104 centimeters and the compact model is 35 point seven five inches. Or 91 centimeters now as for the weight the standard model is about six pounds so 27 kilos. And the compact model is five point three eight pounds okay. Or 24 kilos so a little bit of a difference here so guys there’s a. Few options and you’ll see. Now — I’ve seen a couple of like dealer exclusive models coming out here in Australia so you’ve got.
That are basically in like a ghillie tan model so threaded barrels. That sort of stuff, so they’ve really gone into. And quite a big way here which is just fantastic to see so. You get the manual that comes with the rifle as well. One thing I’ll touch on guys. Because it’ll probably take. Me too long to actually take apart is. Iwant to show you in here just briefly about the trigger on. This rifle comes with an adjustable trigger okay from three to five pounds line is an absolutely brilliant crisp trigger. You pull it out of the stock there okay you’ll see at the top is basically just a allen screw. You want to increase the trigger pull. You do is your turn. That clockwise you want a decrease of trigger pull just turn in. Any clockwise okay so. Ithought I’d touch on. Than having to take the rifle out of the stock. And sort of take up a bit. More time on the review so absolutely brilliant so the trigger on. Iabsolutely love you’ve got a trigger safety in the middle here so a little bit like the Savage a cute trigger really.
You pull both sides of. It won’t go off it won’t fire. You must depress the trigger safety in the middle for it to fire. Now give you a run boy the rifle so. You can have a look at. It up close so you can see there the stock module back I’ve got the raised cheek piece. And just overall this rifle. It really is built for taking some hard knocks on the farm. And that’s what my purpose is for it just um is going to be an all-round great rifle plinking a bit of hunting. That sort of thing now. These stock modules I’ll go into. This just before we go on guys. Iwant to cover this very straightforward. You want to use a scope on there. You might want just a straight stock module there okay. You want to use the open sights. You may not want to use the raised cheap piece stock module okay so do change. It very straightforward okay at the back of the stock obviously you’ve got your sling stud.
You need to do is just simply screw. It anti-clockwise if it’s pretty tight like. You do just get a punch okay just put. It in there and just lever until. It loosens up and then that’s loose enough to turn by hand okay so just turn. It anti-clockwise okay screw. It comes out now the module may be a bit tight to get off to start with okay like there. Imean I’m fairly pulling on. That just get yourself a rubber mallet. And then just snap it at the back. And then you’ll see. It comes off okay so the changeover will just straight. You need to do is just line. It up push it in just give it a bit of a push. You should hear it click maybe not on.
These Murphys Law isn’t. It so anyhow that should be tight enough. And usually you’ll see at the bottom in the hole. That the hole is lined up. All the way in which. You probably won’t see on the camera but that’s. What you’ve got to do then just simply put. That sling stud back in turn. It clockwise okays we’ve got turned out there is our trusty punch again. And then we can tighten. It rights up okay so that’s. Imean absolutely fantastic isn’t. Ijust think it’s a great idea. Now on the topic of the stock as well. One thing I really like about. It too is I love the red Ruger logo at the bottom of. Ijust really find that quite nice you’ve got. Some nice grip panels of the rear here. And also at the front of the stock. Now the stock is a heavy-duty black composite stock okay so. Imean great for taking the knocks on the farm it’s certainly not going to. You know damage easily. It is the basically it’s an extremely tough polymer.
Now the trigger is just fantastic like. Isay we’ll grab the bolt here. Now the bolt in combination. It just is a great system. And so I’ll just explain. That real quick the bolt here has only a 60 degree throws very quick for cycling and. You know obviously reloading now. Iabsolutely love this over the Ruger 77 22. And the reason is why it’s. This is only 60 degrees as opposed to the route of 77 which was 90 degrees. You saw the review I did on the 77 22 Magnums. That was my one negative. Ihad was with the scope. Ifound the bolt came up very close to. You can catch your hand on. Idon’t have any problems with the Ruger American rim fire. This 60 degree throw is just absolutely beautiful so the trigger as. You can see here you can’t fire. Ican less you depress. That trigger safety there on the rear as well you’ve got a tang safety so. You can see the red F which designates. It can be fired just pull back. And then you’ll engage a safety from there so no matter. How much you put on the trigger it’s not going to fire.
You can still cycle the ball to K doesn’t lock the bolt. When the Safety’s on okay so put the safety off there. And just have a listen to. This trigger look at. That just so crisp really lightweight. And just I can’t believe from. You know a factory trigger especially from Ruger. Many Ruger reviews Ismail done guys wear. Ialways complain about the trigger pull not so much with. This rifle at some definitely exceptional trigger. Now for the magazine you’ve got the standard 1022 extended mag release okay so just forward. And the magazine will just drop out okay it’s a standard 10 round rotary magazines from the Ruger 10/22. These are just time-tested very tough ultra reliable there’s not much. You can say about them.
You can actually put the higher capacity magazines in as well so. If you’ve got any other bx 25. If you’ve got the ones of the limited ten rounds. It doesn’t matter they’ll still fit. And we’ll show that later in. This review now the receiver here OK’s it’s got a 3/8 of an inch rim fire scope base machined into. It is drilled and tapped for weaver number 12 basis, so I’ve got a head. And millet rings on top. And to sort of keep with the budget line of the theme of. This review I’ve got. And got the red field two to seven by 34 tack twenty-two scope okay so that’s pretty cheap really it’s about three hundred dollars here in Australia so it’s not like a super expensive Skype so. Ithought well we’ll see. All performs you know as a complete package.
Now the barrel here are 22 inches as. It is the standard version of God so you’ve got the rear v-notch leaf folding sights okay. These are straight off the 10/22. And absolutely perfect. Because imagine I wasn’t able to fold them down. Iwouldn’t be able to get the scope clearance here. Ineed the barrel is basically a satin bloom but honestly. It does look black you’d have to look at. It very hard on the light to really see the blue in. It at the front you’ve got a Williams Humvee’s green front sight. Ijust find that really nice to come up to the eye. Ijust like the open sides of the 1022 in general. This is no exception. Imean the Ruger American rim fire is really modeled so much off the 10/22 in. That regard you’ve also got to a target crown. Now I’ll try to get just the right line on. You can see that guys should be able to see. It there okays so finished off really nicely as well.
Now you’ve got the sling studs as. Itouched briefly on you’ve got the. One at the rear and you’ve also got. One at the front there naturally. Now the other thing. Ireally like about. This rifle too is remembered with I’ll bring. That up safely you should be able to see. Now remember with the 77 22. You have to get your thumbnail in. And push down to be able to release the bolt okay not so much with. One Ruger have just got a button in there just push nice and easy. And then the bulb just slides straight out so. Ireally really like. That feature it just seems. That a lot of things on. This Ruger American are just very user-friendly. Imean the barrel as well as fuller is a fully floated barrel kein that’s Judah rugers integral bedding block system. That they’ve got on the rifle so. Imean there is so much. That has been just jam packed into. This rifle so I’ve got quite hot. You know high hopes of.
It really alright guys we’ll look. Iwait to sort of talk anymore about the features you’ve pretty much seen. Everything here on the desktop part so let’s get out on the farm. This rifle through its paces okay guys, so we’ve got a fair variety of ammo to get through with. This review, so I’ve selected hyper velocity high velocity standards. And subsonics okay so. We really want to put. This little Ruger American rim fire through its paces so to start with we’re going to start off with the CCI velociter then we’ll move on to CCOs standard then CCI mini mag. Now the actual mini Mac I’ve got here is the 36 grain mini mag not the 40 grain then I’ll go on to see CIA stingers then SK high-velocity then we’ll move down to federal gold medal then the Winchester 42 grain subsonic then I’ve really splurged I’ve got.
Some lap your whore Lapua. You want to say it Midas + ammunition so that’s a really high quality math grade ammo then we’ll have a look at the American Eagle 40 grain ammo. And then last of all we’ll just use the cheap blinking round the Remington golden bullet. Or bucket of bullets okay, so we’ll start off with the CCI velocity’. And let’s get through. This marathon of testing alright guys let’s have a look at the first round of the groupings of the Ruger American rim fire first. One here the seesaw of the laaser I’d did okay but then. We had those couple of Flyers there but. Once again it’s a bit of a pain on the buff. You get the windy days like. This but that’s used in real conditions isn’t. It so the other bad thing that’s happened is we’ve run out of batteries on my electronic calipers here but the good thing is.
We can still measure. It manually I can show. You the measurement there on film so let’s have a look at the CCI velociter, so we’ve got pretty much just on an inch group here at 50 so not too bad definitely capable of better accuracy so then. We come down to the CCI standards. Once again eight shots really nicely there, but then we’ve had two Flyers. That will measure, and we’ve got 08 of an inch there so really nice group size there. And I’m sure we had better conditions. We could bring it down to about half an inch then. We came down to the ccoet mini mags. Now that’s sort of spread a bit didn’t. It not to impress with. That but we’ll measure. And we’ve got about. And a half inches exactly there so. Once again not around I’d probably recommend through the Ruger American. This is quite interesting when. We came up the top here.
We were using the CCI stingers. Iwas aiming dead center the first shot went off way to the right. And hi there so what I did was. Ijust so we can actually get. It on paper I bought the point of aim back to the corner here but then. It was shooting up really high there, so I’d say we’d probably have about a two-inch spread there. Iknow maybe and a half yeah belt 16 17 so yeah it’s very mixed results. Ifind with the ccoet stingers being a hyper velocity round a bit temperamental. Ifind coming down here. Though to the escalade high-velocity completely different story have a look at. This is a sort of accuracy.
Iam used to when using SK high-velocity it’s just a great round overall, so we’ve got about with. That about 09 of an inch exactly so. Imean definitely capable of a bit. More we’ve got one nice cluster there, but then we’ve got a little bit of a flyer higher there but still very good. Imean from a rifle like the Ruger American there’s. Some promising accuracy here so let’s get. Another target up, and we’ll get into the next set of shooting and see. We go okay so the last part of our testing here guys. Idare say just by looking at. This in general because we’ve got. You know a reasonable amount of wind on the farm today. Anything that standard velocity. Or subsonic seems to be getting blown around a bit so that’s pretty evident here so. We take a look at the federal gold medal. You know that’s terrible. What could I say it’s a you’d expect a lot. More from the round. That but any help we will measure. It the way it really is.
And we’ve got just on 18 inch group there then. We come down to the Winchester 42 grain subsonics start to cluster but honestly I’m not happy with. That’s not good enough for me measure. That it’s a little bit tighter. And we’ve got just on 14 inch group there then. We come down to the Lapua Midas plus. You know you really expect hole through hole with. That ammo we’ve got the nice cluster there, but we’ve had a flyer there so. Whether that’s the wind but look. Idoubt it’s the mo. This time I was extremely consistent especially. You pay the price you do for it so. If it’s we’re measuring all of. It we’ve got about a 13-inch group but. We take the main cluster we’ve got just a tad over 07 of an inch there at 50 so. That would be more like the accuracy. You would get with this combination of rifle. That ammo then we came up here to the federal American Eagle.
Now we’ve had a fair bit of spread there too as. You can see look at the wind it’s actually blowing the target there’s. That much of, and we’ve got 19 inches there then. We come down to the bottom. You know just the Remington golden bullet the bucket of bullets. And then look they’ve just gone everywhere really haven’t. What more can I say like they’re really around. You just want to have a bit of fun plinking with they’re definitely not a serious. You know hunting round, but we’ll have a look there. And we’ve got yep just on two inches there okay so. Idare say guys my favorite. Once again is that sk high-velocity. It just is very consistent so. That would probably be my preference through the Ruger American rim fire so. Imight just take a couple of quick adjustments off camera to bring. That a little bit more central. And then we’ll have a little bit of fun like. We always do with the rifle guys I’ll just show.
How to load the mag. Now the Ruger standard 22 rotary magazines is really time-tested it’s been around for a long time. And it’s just ultra reliable so the round slip in very easily. And feeding is just not an issue there’s just no malfunctions. That I’ve ever had with. These banks so really quite good for the price especially ok guys so. What I’ve got here is the Ruger bx 25 magazines. You can see loading with. This is fairly straightforward it’s. Another ultra reliable magazine from Ruger. It does function perfectly with the Ruger American rim fire also works naturally with the Ruger 10/22. Or the 1022 charge of the pistol there but also the PWS series of rifles so no dramas in functioning there, but we’re just going to run.
It through the American rim fire just to show. That there aren’t no issues with the mag so loading the bx 25 in the Ruger American no problem at. All just clips in really nicely just holds very well feeding is not an issue it’s just ultra reliable so. Ijust run a few rounds through. You can see for yourself definitely works with. This rifle, and we’re clear so absolutely no problem at. You do like these mags. Me personally I do like an extended magazine. If I’m out hunting the only reason for. That is especially of a nighttime. You don’t have any small magazines. You can lose you can really grip on them so. You want to do a quick mag change it’s very straightforward so that’s just my personal preference anyway alright guys I’ll do my usual wrap up on the Ruger American rim fire in 22 honestly.
Ireally makes me wonder. How the health Ruger did. This for the price I mean the features in. This rifle I mean from the Humvee’s front sight you’ve got the flip rear sight there from the 1022 my view anyway. Imuch prefer the angle of. This bolt over the normal 77 22. You just don’t get it caught on the scope. When you’re cycling the bolt it’s really good you’ve got the extended mag release at the bottom takes a 10 22 magazines as well as the bx 25 as. You can saw on the review there’s just so much about the rifle. Iflew love I mean short Bobby could be. More accurate but really for the price. When the dollar was strong for $390. You go wrong for such a nice great little 22 the scope on top look as. Isaid guys in the intro it’s not a very expensive scope the Redfield TAC 22 but it’s. Than enough to get out there. And have a lot of fun blinking like you’ve seen. Me do today so overall. Ican’t really see this rifle being beaten for the money.
Idon’t know of many other rifles out on the market. You can get for this price. And especially have the reliability. And the accuracy this has with particular 22 ammo so. That guys that’s — do. You point on you enjoyed the review so til next time we’ll catch.
