Piss piss piss up. Oh, it’s a monster bass. It’s a monster! Oh good! One I do a lot of spinner bait fishing, spinner bait, spinner, bait, spinner bait! It’s been amazing, alright guys so today, I have a little bit of a different video planned I’m, actually going to be doing an unboxing and first look at this new reel that I bought. This is the pissy fun flame mm. It features 10 bearings, so 9 plus 1, like your ratio of 5 2 to 1 retrieve per turn, is 25 point.

2 inches actually never heard that spec before maximum drag is 13 point 2 pounds yeah the weight of the reel itself is 8 5 ounces, the mono capacity is 5 pounds at 330 yards and the brain capacity is 12 pounds at 400 yards. Maybe putting much of your braid in that on this yeah, exceptionally smooth ultra light, the piece of fun flame mm all right. So let’s get this baby open up, see what we got now the reel itself and gonna actually come back to that.

We got sticker for the app awesome and owner’s manual in six different languages. You lock in handle style using anti reverse Loffler Mulla and has a breakout views. You can see all the different parts part numbers I’ll come back to that when I break the tank right sticker for the app done with that. So let’s get to the real itself. Oh yeah, all right! That’s got a nice weight to it, so it has a full graphite body, as a lot of reels are starting to do these days, anti reverse switch, it’s actually a matte black with a glossy red, aluminum spool, which looks really nice.

On that black looks super sharp and I bet you it won’t. You know a lot of my other glossy reels. They get a little bit dirty and then they just don’t look good, but I bet you this one really well. Another thing you can kind of look at for quality is the gauge of the bail wire here and it’s a really thick one um very snappy mechanism there, which is always great to see it’s. You know nice snappy, sound um, like I, said an aluminum spool, which is really nice.

I’ll be my trade right there, and that is just exceptionally smooth. Like I said, it’s got, 10 bearings I, believe nine plus one yep, and you can really just feel it there and if I get it going, it just keeps going and going that looks awesome and graphite body. It feels a lot more sturdy than other reels have used in the past good handle. It looks like it has a hinge here, so you can for transport.

Yeah I mean it’s a spinning, no there’s not too much else to it. So one thing when I was picking out this reel on Amazon I was kind of concerned about the size, because I’ve ordered reels before online, and it’s really hard to tell what the size is because they have like you know like dimensions, but it’s kind of hard to picture it until you get it in your hands. So just for some scale. This is a mm sighs.

So this is I’ll start smaller. This is the real I was using at the beginning of this year. David actually gave us to me. This is a Shakespeare navigator. I just got one ball bearing, and it’s made out of plastic gets kind of cheaper, as you could see in my last video actually when I coach them caught that northern it was kind of struggling, so I’m like I, should probably upgrade the citizen that wasn’t working very well anyway, so this is actually a very similar size, and this is what I would call a smaller real, not quite like ice fishing or anything, but you can kind of see it to scale with me.

It’s a smaller reel. This is the mistake that I made last time: I ordered online. This is a cast King summer 4000, so I actually got this or river fishing, and for that it works. Well, it’s like basically a cat fishing reel. The thing is huge again. This is a 4000 model, so I got it forever. Fishing that works great, but again I did not want to speak of real-life marketing, so I’m gonna be using this one, obviously for bass, fishing, a northern fishing and honestly I think this is like the perfect size.

I thought it was gonna, be a little bit bigger and I. Actually didn’t want it to be so this should work out just perfectly yeah. So obviously, I can’t comment on long-term durability right now, but I will definitely do a whole review after I use this for quite a bit, and it’s just really solidly built I can feel that what they grabbed the graphite bodies, I’m really really a fan of these the knob is really solid.

It kind of has like a little rubber handle very solid, very smooth, I’m gonna be pairing this with my six foot, six ugly, stick: two-piece, spinning rod; yes, it’ll be ugly 60 X to six and a half foot, spinning rod which I want to get a new rod, but I’m, actually gonna wait till I get 200 subscribers and then I’m going to buy a new rod. That’s a seven foot! Six I already have a picked out, but it’s a little more pricey, so I’m gonna wait a little bit and use this for a while.

But yeah I’m really excited to use this, but what’s crazy about this real, if I got this for only $23 on e on the side and I’ve seen other reels at Walmart and other places that have looked and felt like this kind of quality that have cost it, you know double or triple this. So I think this is fantastic deal. Obviously, I haven’t fished with it. Yet my next video when I go out the kayak in the next couple days.

I will be testing it out and, like I said, I’ll follow up with a review, but first impressions of this reel I am super impressed by how smooth and how well it works all righty. So I got it all spooled up blind and Bates all rigged up with my snap I should get some difficult brain, so it matches, but you know that’ll happen want to get money. Yeah that’ll never happen so I’m gonna go. Do some practice cast with this right now and see how it works.

Alright, so today we got an unboxing, it’s a real unboxing for my finesse bass. Fishing I got this Pisgah fun flame. It’s a three thousand exceptionally smooth ultra light, and then here are all the specs on the box, something over here. So bearings. We have ten gear ratio. It’s a 5-2 to one retrieve per turn is 21 inches at point. 6 inches where’d I get 21 from max drag, is fourteen point: three supreme high drag weight, 8 9, it’s somewhat light Pasties for mono.

We have 11 pounds 195 yards and you know there was 11 pound test braid at 25 pounds. It’s 290 yards I’ll, probably want to use a backing on their parade open. This thing up here it gives us a little booklet. Here, it’s fun fish with family. It gives you just Amazon search things like aspirin, exploded view and some parts breakdowns. Yet I’ll shut it I’m, gonna, clean it, keep it clean and then, of course see which is the real thing that is pretty on there.

Alright. So we have, let’s see that’s graph, I, don’t know! That’s plastic, yeah! Well, closer! Look there much much closer! Look already so first impressions. It is extremely smooth actually look at that. That is nice very nice. It has a braid little abrasion thing on there for the braid to help you spool up braid, which is really nice. It’s a little small for a three thousand, but I think that ties into that ultralight.

So it is a smaller body which I do like I hate when you get that huge ginormous reel and you’re trying to lug it around everything, but everything seems to it seems to work exceptionally well, very nice I’m thinking it almost seems like it’s a graphite instead of plastic, but I’m not positive on that, but so far first impressions I really really really liking it. It should look really good on my what is it it’s a Field & Stream inferno, a flaming inferno, I’ll go good together and yeah.

So for 24 bucks, I, don’t yeah I could have gone wrong. I will make a part two to this video later on in the year after using it a few times to you know, see how it performs in the world. You know get a little dirty see if it still works just as well or if even holds up, because if some of you guys might know my finesse rods kind of holding up very well. My last one first, the rod broke got a new rod. Then the real broke so kind of laughter.

Oh, that is some serious, drag peeling action today. I want to show you why I love the new cast king megatron reel. We recently picked up the new megatron spinning wheel from kastkings. We wanted a very versatile heavy duty reel, especially when it comes to bigger fish in fresher salt water, such as pike, bass, musky or in salt water. When you’re talking tuna, bonito halibut flounder, all sorts of big game fish. The first thing I noticed about this reel that I loved was that the main frame of the reel is actually made out of aerospace aluminum, which makes this a very rigid reel.

It also has aluminum handle an aluminum spool and a giant bale wire to make sure when you’re fighting, bigger fish or small fish. The body of this is not going to flex or break megatron, also comes with a braid ready spool, which means that you can use monoline or braided line. When you use braid, you need to have a special kind of spool so that under tension, the braid doesn’t actually spin on the spool itself, and this spool will prevent that because it’s braid ready, depending on the size reel you get you’ll, have up to 46 pounds of drag.

Not only do these pack a ton of drag, but it’s a triple disc carbon drag, which means a very smooth drag when you’re fighting a big fish or you’re on light line when the fish pulls or shakes its head, it’s going to pull, drag, smooth, meaning you’ll lose less fish. These reels come from 2 000 to 6 000 size and the biggest size holds 300 yards of 80 pound braided line. That means you could take that offshore. A really really large game fish to make sure that drag and everything’s running smooth this reel also comes with eight plus one bearings.

What that means is eight double shielded: stainless steel bearings inside the reel and one anti-reverse bearing so when you’re reeling in and you stop that drag is set. You’re not gonna have any backlash when you’re cranking in the number. One reason why we love this new reel, so much is because of its extreme versatility and how heavy duty this reel is to put this reel to the ultimate test. I recently took the smaller 3000 size, offshore fishing for bonito and yellowtail, and if you don’t know what a bonito is, it’s remember the tuna family.

It is a very, very hard fighting fish. We were able to land 8 to 10 pound bonito, which is insane for this size reel. We also have used this in short, salt, water for halibut fishing and it handled that fantastic, and we also plan on doing lots of fresh water bass and pike and muskie fishing too. Not only is it super versatile guys, but it is super, affordable, anyways until next time, fish on so so.

Are going to talk about the new Shimano Sienna 2500, this is an updated model, came out in 2016. This has their new compact m body, but I think it just means a gear is closer to the rods just to make it more balanced. We’ve got a nice black color, but again to the side. 2500 F II, the all one I believe is FB. Is it it has. So this new one has 5 to 1 gear ratio and about in weighs about just over 9 ounce and has a track power of 9 pounds.

2 ball bearings of one gear ball bearing on one roller ball bearing, but it’s still pretty smooth as with most Romano reels, and it has one crank- has 28 inches of a line retrieve now the thing I want to say about this reel of because people ask me a lot. You know what is a good reel for surf fishing, and this is one way right here. This is 2500. The new Sienna is only I believe is around $30, so it’s pretty cheap, it’s well within most people’s budget.

Can you use it for saltwater? Of course, the most important thing is you just want to make sure you rinse it out really well, you know spray with a garden hose for about 15-20 seconds after each trip to the serve or just any salt water, because salt water is very corrosive if you do use it. For sir fishing I suggest about 15 pound braid, it’s perfect again drag power about 9 9 pounds drag is very smooth.

That’s just you know it’s just a Shimano quality drag it just you know, they’re known for their nice smooth drags. This has infinite anti reverse and the switch is right down here on the bottom right there. Okay, with these kind of reels when you before you guys use it before you, take it out to the field. You always want to make sure you tighten the handle nut really really well, so that way it doesn’t come loose in the field.

The handle is it’s a kind of a hard plastic. It’s got a smooth surface, it’s not a rubbery feel like the strata Klein or their higher-end. Models like the these Sedona or the Sahara. This is a smoother. Is a hard plastic, so it’s a little bit more slippery bail. Flip is nice and crisp, it does have automatic trip and you got your line capacity right there. Overall, it’s a pretty nice reel for surf fishing.

Definitely a really good one, not sure what else I want to say, but you know if you’re just looking for a reliable, dependable reel. That’s you know around $30. This one is it for this. One is brand new. I spool it with it I believe it’s a 15 pound braid! This is brand new, so what I will do is I’m going to give this reel away at the next surf fishing tournament. I haven’t decided on a date yet but I’m looking at around Memorial Day weekend for that surf fishing tournament of 2017, there’s only going to be two this year.

The first one will its tentative, but it will be around Memorial Day weekend and this new reel, the Shimano three no 25 on EFI will be given away at the tournament. To dinner this one there you go fish on first trout of the day, tiny finally got one on the little countdown there we go. You just put the little countdown minnow, probably about an eight incher there. He goes another one. I better fish this time on the pause. Okay, there he goes people better, much better fish. Unless I hooked him funny. Oh yeah, it’s a good one! Oh yeah! Look at that guy! That’s a good fish! You just swallowed that thing.

It’s just gone that might be like the uh second biggest fish I’ve caught out of here, but on the countdown minnow. Hopefully he swims off fine. He got hooked pretty deep. So, while I’m out here, I thought, it’d be the perfect time to do a little review of my uh spinning reel here. It’s a shimano, sienna 2500, not 2500, 1000, right there focus but yeah. This is my current trout reel on my setup, which is a fenwick fenwick hmx, and that is a uh six foot light moderate, fast action.

It’s pretty much! The perfect trout set up, but uh yeah nice cork handle it’s pretty. Whippy can cast pretty far with this thing and then got on a six pound power pro with a four pound monofilament leader and then the bait I’ve been using today was just the uh poly countdown minnow in a small brown trout pattern. So that’s what was having them bite, but as far as this reel goes, I would highly recommend it’s only about 30 35, but this is hands down the best, spinning wheel.

You can buy for that price point. I’m predominantly a shimano spinning reel guy, so I’ve fished with this sienna. I have the sahara on another trout rod. I’ve used the spyrix, the stratic different versions of the stratoc um, a bunch of different shimano reels over the years and um. While you do get what you pay for, unlike the stratix, if you go with this you’re, really not going to notice that much of a difference honestly 250 versus 30 dollars, I would definitely go for this every time.

Yeah. The drag super smooth, um, nice and clicky sounds pretty similar to the more expensive shimano reels and uh. As far as smoothness and like the bale clicking, I don’t know it’s super smooth as much as I would ask for in a reel. I have not used this ice fishing at all, which I know this is a very popular ice fishing reel also, but I would expect it to perform super well as long as you don’t get snow and ice up inside of it, but I would definitely highly recommend this reel for people looking at getting into fishing or even anybody.

That’s just looking for another setup, but yeah definitely a great reel to fish with perfect for trout, perfect for panfish, but um definitely would recommend the shimano sienna and 1000 size or any other size for that matter. Well, I’m wrapping it up here. For the day it’s getting pretty dark had a good time fishing with the uh shimano sienna performed beautifully on the couple trout that I caught, especially that big one um and would definitely recommend this reel for trout fishing.

Hi I’m Glen from golden eagle outdoors, the Shimano Sienna 500 FG, spinning reel this is a smaller real meant for smaller fish, such as pan fish, crappie perch and their freshwater fish of that size. So the manufacturer of this reel says the Seattle model is a well-balanced high performance built real, an amazingly, affordable price. Now this model retails for around $29 99 on most online retail sites. This reel is rated for a line capacity of monofilament line of two pound test for 190 yards or 4 pound test of a hundred yards.

The weight of the reel is six point: three ounces and the bearings there are three ball bearings and one roller bearing the gear ratio, as stated on, the Shimano website is five point zero to one, but on the package here it says five point six to one and that equates to 27 inches of line that you’re cranking in per turn of the crank. Shimano says that they specially designed the school for longer, casts and reduce twin knots, and this model also has an instant anti reverse with no back play and the maximum drag on this model is four pounds and it has a front drag on it.

So here you see, you can see it the reel in the package. Here’s the front! Here’s the back I’m trying to zoom in on important stuff, seeing and see it. Okay! So now we’ll open this up and get this real out of here, I already pre-cut it. So you gonna have to wait for me to fight to get this thing out of here. Yeah, that’s just part of the crank crank is down here: nice-looking, one crank, okay, so I’m a righty and I usually use this side like this goes in the other side and it screws in just like that.

So this is how we put it together. Okay, nice and tighten so right now is set where you can crank it reverse or lower. The crank is smooth. You can see, there’s no jerking or anything as I crank it around. So then the anti reverse lever is here on the other side, so I turn that on goes that way, and then it will not go backwards at all forward. Try to go backwards, it won’t do it okay and we got our bail, which that flips smoothly very good. It’s tight to do that. If you do it that way, otherwise many people recommend just doing it by hand all right.

Let’s see what the Dragons like, so the drag is very light right now. You just pray turn it in to make the drag tougher. So you can hear the clicking on the drag. Then it goes in the other direction. You have a line keeper right there, so that’s! That’s it I’ll, give you a close-up, look of the real as I turn it around here. So the real perform smoothly without any flaws, then I can see of so I would be I’m very happy with this purchase and I look forward to using this reel.
