Tecnica Zero G Scout Tour Boot – Women’s

As the stiffest women-specific offering in Tecnica’s touring-specific Zero G line, the Women’s Zero G Scout Tour Boot provides the performance you need to slay steep, technical descents, but doesn’t compromise a bit when it comes to the climb, either. With an impressive 55-degree cuff rotation in walk mode and Tecnica’s new Double Blocking Mobility Cuff System, a lever that engages at the cuff and lower part of the shell to reduce play and increase stability in ski mode, you’ll move efficiently on the climbs without any loss of efficiency on the descents. The boot’s medium last is generous enough to remain comfortable during long tours without compromising performance, while the stiff 115 flex is most suitable for hard-charging lady rippers who require reliable power transfer to maneuver their sticks.

The Grilamid shell keeps the Zero G Scout ultralight without sacrificing any of the boot’s necessary stiffness, and utilizes Tecnica’s Custom Adaptive Shape shell design, which is anatomically shaped to match your foot, featuring dimples on the shell that makes customization easier for your boot fitter. Inside the boot, the ultralight liner is equipped with laces so you can dial perfectly dial in the fit and the feel every time you step into the boot. To prevent wet, cold feet, the liner also boasts a waterproof, breathable membrane, keeping you out longer on days when the powder is deep. And, since it’s rare you’ll ever go a season without an icy bootpack to get to the soft, powdery goods, the rockered sole is outfitted with sticky, durable Vibram rubber to ensure you always have a secure grip.

  • Lightweight, touring-specific boot to access fresh lines
  • Stiff 115 flex is suitable for hard-charging lady shredders
  • 99-millimeter last blends performance and comfort
  • 55-degree range of motion ensures efficient uphill strides
  • Grilamid shell is lightweight but maintains stiffness
  • Shell can be customized for precise fit
  • Ultralight liner with laces snugly hugs foot for supportive comfort
  • Vibram rubber soles deliver reliable traction on icy bootpacks

  • When you’re touring and you flick this it’s amazing the range of motion obviously that you have without undoing. That top class so it’s very precise for. Where you want to put your foot but feels really freaked she’s good i guess if you can do this if you want and you loosen it rights up when you’re throwing to it makes it even easier the side. To side motion business and kind of see. Here it’s on an angle makes it better yeah i like that i just. Kind of want to see if snow entry is any. Issue with this it’s a mountaineering boot so times are gonna happen when you do get off your skis obviously and start. Postholing up there’s something nasty and big i don’t know if he’ll be full walk mode like this or not but likely so. You can see i mean that keeps a lot of the snow out which is really nice that tall boots all gator and then. There’s that cuff area so without doing. Anything to it i just clamp that yep. Clamps i don’t think i can feel it but it’s in. There it’s definitely in there so i. Don’t know yeah but other than that i. Mean boots sure does skin nice that’s very comfortable and free feeling and. Light and on off-camber type stuff it. Sure allows you to keep a full skin contact if you choose so yeah so far so. Good okay so now it’s time for the book. Review inside instead of in the rain so. There it is size 27 and there’s our weight pretty. Simple little scale one boot 1.3 6. Kilograms so super light obviously. Especially when you’re looking at something that is as strong as skiing boot as it is so that’s nice so good weight on the boot now, and we look at the liners you’ll see there are two liners that this boot is using this. Is the support liner the support liner. Are they’re stronger liner it’s nice just. A good flex motion in the back of flexes. Going in the back so you can get lots of easily easy angulation with this boot is. The cuff of the boot certainly allows it, so we don’t want the liner to restrict that different densities of foam nice. And stiff through the top and the tongue so lots of support through their nice moldable down through the bottom which is great and then obviously our character being a mountaineering company they’re thinking about using liners like this if you have to be drawing your liners you’re wearing them alone not in a boot you can see you’ve got a rubber. Bottom to that boot which is going to. Give you a lot better traction if necessary but just durability as well so. Into the actual boot itself the plastics this is where all the magic is in this boot a few things that i really. Like i love how dry this boot is with this. Zipper that does up from the front of the boot it keeps this entire structure. Quite watertight as you can see that you. Tough and that gator around the top it’s going to keep a lot of snow out so when you have that boot opened and you are in tour mode and a lot of other boots you. Collect a lot of snow through here through buckles and into the boot so you have a lot of water entry into this whole boot system that’s not the case with this. Which is really nice to see it’s in front of the boot as you can see has the rubber rand to it that’s a thermoformed. Rand it’s not going to pull away from that gives you much better durability. And some add its stickiness if you are. Climbing and using this boot from a mountaineering standpoint to have a hard. Plastic toe that can skate off is not a. Good scenario so having this is going to make a big difference for people its ultimate comfort when they are climbing and not using it with their skis and you. Can see it’s a very burly soul the soul that’s on there is not one of these super lightweight soles that’s going to. Disintegrate in one season of use that’s. A full proper vibrational go it’s a. Mountaineering sole great to see that. Obviously works with pins it’s what it’s made for it’s the only way it’s going to work but from a standpoint of moving in. The mountains it’s great to have that security on your feet so all in all i. Have to say that our caraxes nu pro kline. Boot walks as i would expect it to walk. And skis much better so i think it’s. Going to be it’s its definitely worthy of carrying the arc’teryx name hope you enjoy it.

Greetings from the drezna hut we’re high up in the stew buyouts weren’t we’re just here for a few days testing the new arc’teryx pro klein carbon light ski tour okay first acquaintance it’s a. Funny-looking thing it’s got fully dinner fit compatible pin binding. Inserts I’ve gone for a vibram rubber on there so it’s got a plastic shell but the upper this is actually the shell here this is just a nylon cuff really lightweight cup but unzips to reveal the. Aligner inside this is the light liner. This is the most sort of agile. Compromise between lightweight flexibility and ski touring and ability uphill from ounce an earring but also giving enough support for the downhill performance you can get a support liner that’s a much beefier thing with a much more supportive tongue to upgrade the. Skiing characteristics of the boot most. Amazing thing about this boot is this carbon cuff it’s absolutely incredibly high-tech feature they put a very cunning bushing. Between here and the aramid shall the other thing is that the cuff is an integral part of the water-ski mechanism, so we’ll see later on when we get on the slopes the incredible skinning and cramp on in capability of. This boot but when we want to lock it down into ski mode it’s simply locates. These lugs with one single click. The amazing thing about these boots is. That when you pull them into walk mode. And they release you don’t have to. Bother undoing all the rest of the boot when we’re skinning on i see Travis is when we scramble up rocks or when. We’re come putting on hard i see slopes, but we can keep it beautifully tightly. Done up so the foot stays solid in the boot ordinarily in a ski touring boot. You only get flexibility for a raft but with this incredible cuff design you get a little bit of flexibility side to side we’re actually able to roll the skis a. Little bit over onto their side like that now that’s great of course both. When we’re skinning on an icy Travis to get a better grip with the skins it’s also great when we crump on him being able to get the points of our crampons into the slope course what you really. No using flexibility where suddenly. When you’re skinning your really only. Limited by the flex in your ankle not flexing the boot at all. This week we’ve skied absolutely icp. Star-crossed trod which gets a really. Beautiful soft snow the biggest compliment i can give these boots is that they’re utterly forgettable I’ve never once had to think about what i had on my feet now actually given the challenging conditions we’ve had that really is a complement indeed now i ski. This size of boot in just about every other brand but putting these on the first thing that strikes me is just how small and precise they are now around the heel that’s a really good thing because it means there’s absolutely no lift no slippage and no rubbing when you’re skinning but across the front of the boot it just means that they’re really super tight now if they fit the shape of your firm that will be fantastic, and they really are a precise fitting boot so if you were going to buy a pair of these boots buy them from a really good quality boot fitter get a shell that fits you nice as snug and make sure they fit them out properly for you arc’teryx if you’re going to make a boot this narrow and this much of a precision fit can we have a wide version please.

Tecnica Zero G Tour Alpine Touring Boot – Women’s

Technica’s Women’s Zero G Tour Alpine Touring Boot is re-designed and ready to rock on long ascents, but won’t leave you floundering on steep, technical descents, either. Coming in at just over three pounds per boot, it will barely add to the weight of your setup as you suffer up steep skinners. A boot this stiff handles your most proud lines like a champ, from narrow, remote chutes to wide-open bowls of pristine powder. Tecnica built this boot on a mid-sized 99-millimeter last that offers a performance fit for standard-width feet.

Different from the previous versions of the Zero G, this rendition is more of a true backcountry boot, with a slightly lighter weight, an impressive 55-degree range of motion in walk mode and double-blocking system that increases stability in ski mode, rockered Vibram rubber soles for impressive grip on slick bootpacks, and extra-light buckles that stay latched when you’re skinning to reduce in-boot friction that can lead to blisters. The boot’s shell uses Tecnica’s C.A.S. system, which employs a dimple structure to make heating and punching faster and more effective for bootfitters. Practically a roadmap for bootfitters, C.A.S. identifies your foot’s hot spots and pressure points with ease, and paired with the Ultrafit Pro Light liner, you’ll stay comfortable, even after you hours on the skintrack.

  • Hey my name’s carter brown I’m here with technical we’re an outdoor retailer with back country skiing canada I’m gonna talk to you guys about the new zero-g guide throw this is our new back country. Touring specific ski boot we decided to. Build this boot and come up with this ski boot we’re an alpine brand we wanted. To really build a boot that truly performed on the town that was really a four buckle traditional overlap high-performance yet come in at a weight. Range with a range of motion and all the options that are really, so we’ve got a. New ninety-nine millimeter last really low volume in the heel and ankle great fit 44 degrees range of motion coming in. At about fifteen hundred and forty grams. Fully interchangeable solos allows you come with a rockered 18 so allows you. To add in seoul on the bottom really. There’s nothing else out there that’s like if there’s nothing else out there that hits this range of motion. This weight that allows you to put ad insole on to have four buckles into the traditional overlap construction. We’re really pumped about it we feel it really provides true downhill skiing experience but at a really unbelievably. Kind of lightweight. We also have kind of the little brother. Called the code the zero-g guide that. Comes in out of the 110 flex right around sixteen hundred and fifty grams same basic food is this yorgi guide pro. Just a little bit heavier a little softer plastic yeah you know and a. Little bit lower price point great for that person that really doesn’t want to spend a ton of money wants a great performing a great skiing. Series of boots we think it’s going to be a unique offering out there’s a. Lot of people that are really looking for this type of boot maybe coming from an alpine background that want the fit and feel and function of their ski boots we want something that’s gonna be really liked and allowed to use tech bindings yeah it’s so really going to perform like they’re out on booze.

Hey it’s brad from back country skiing. Canada calm today we’re gonna talk about the technical zero-g guide pro boot this. Is a new boot from technical it weighs in at 1524 grams are three point three six pounds and that’s for the size twenty-six and a half so a relatively lightweight boot considering it’s a four buckle overlap construction boot comes in different sizes twenty-two and a half to thirty and a half in half sizing all the way up and it’s got a. Really respectable cuff rotation of 44 degrees given that it is an overlap construction boot the flex is rated at. 130 feels more like a 120 when you’re skiing in the boot however and it’s built on a ninety-nine millimeter laughs so the special things about the new. Zero-g guide pro are cas shell you can. See in the shell along the front here. And the side as well as the other side in two locations as well that it’s got these dimples built into the shell basically these are the location of problem areas for people when their boot fitting so with this the dimples in the shell you’ve got less surface tension so it’s easier punch out for the boot fitters the shell is made out of a by. Injected triax 3 which is said to be 30%. Thinner than traditional materials 18%. Lighter and two and a half times stiffer and this is a fairly stiff boot at 120. Considering that it’s a alpine slash touring boot the liner itself is a heat. Foldable blue liner and it’s got some. Good shin support there’s actually a velcro add-on that you can add in that i ski with and it’s got minimal seams as. Well it’s also very light a very warm liner I’ve been skiing this. Boot in the last few weeks it’s been -20 at the hill and my toes were getting. Cold but not as cold as i should have given the temperatures so it’s very thick comfortable liner and almost too warm on warm days but nice on the colder days the cuff is made out of a light. Grid triax 3 and it’s got strategic. Cutouts in the cuff itself so it will be the power strap get in here and have a. Look at it. So you can see these strategic cutouts here in the cuff and that again lightens. Up the shell overall the other thing to. Note about the zero-g guide pro is it’s. Got replaceable sol blocks it’s also got. Tech fittings so you can use them with tech bindings for touring and one of the coolest features that i love is the lift lock buckles so when you’re buckling. Your boot unbuckling your boot traditionally these get relaxed on always when you’re trying. To take the boot off but if you just pull the buckles back you can see that they flip back and out of the way and then when you’re ready to buckle up again you just pull them in and away you go so lots of cool little features overall. I’ve been skiing this boot for the last few weeks and I’ve been skiing at the. Resort it’s a great resort boot fairly light nice walk mode on the back here to go to walk and ski mode very easy to do. So you can walk around the resort and also to go touring in it you know it’s not the lightest touring boat out there but it can tour and it really does well at the resort so it’s kind of crossover boot for both aspects of skiing and I’ve been skiing this for a few weeks and been really happy with it the fit in the comfort nice stiff boot for the hill and it can still tour which is a good feature so gives you that versatility of skiing half-day the resort half-day in the back country it. Also comes in a zero-g guide the non pro. Version that comes in a 110 flex and it’s 1700 grams so a little bit lighter but it’s also a little bit cheaper at $660 and it also is available for women. So this version the pro version the zero. G guide pro is $900 u.s. so a little bit. More expensive than the non pro version but you will have some weight savings so. Overall great fitting boot nice warm liners stiff good for resort skiing and. • This is the otter box cross rider 2020. Litre bag, and they’ve made lots of updates compared to previous years it’s. Got everything in there that i could want to go touring with, and so we’ll just take time to go through each. Of the features so first of all in our. Front pocket we have a deep pocket. Including a zippered one for all. Valuables included in there is a helmet. Net as well this is for when you’ve got. So many things in your bag you can attach your helmet onto the outside which will save space and mean that it’s out the way in my main pocket we have. Access to the main space there’s a space. For shovel and a probe and it’s as well. Compatible with a water hydration system there’s a hole at the top and cleverly. They’ve also added an insulated shoulder tube which should make sure that your water isn’t going to freeze if you are miles away from civilization this main. Pocket can also be accessed from the. Back meaning it’s a lot quicker to. Access any of the tools that you might need there’s another little compartment. Here for any other important bits that you don’t want to get lost in the main pocket when we talk about straps it’s. Got the across the chest strap with a whistle it’s also got a really strong. Waist strap with a really handy pocket. Here for quick access once you’re touring and at the front we have all of these as well so if you’ve not got a lot in your backpack it’s gonna help. Bring it nice and tight which makes it easier for walking obviously the. Attachment for the helmet can go on here as well there’s also a strap here for ice axes, and they’ve also included both. A diagonal and a vertical and ski strap. Holders so depending on whether you. Prefer to have them diagonal not complete personal preference but you’re not limited to one way with this backpack comes in at just. 850 grams so it’s on its own with plenty of space it still. Shouldn’t be too heavy by the time you filled it’s a very comfortable backpack thanks to the padding that you. Can see on the back and on the side straps and on the shoulder straps so if. You are going quite far away it’s going to be a really comfortable backpack it’s available from many retailers including. Snow and rock in seven different colors at the price point of one hundred pounds.

This is a quick review of auto boxes free-rider 26 back country backpack which. I’m having to return to the supplier after only two days use due to been dissatisfied with the quality and having safety concerns the first problem comes. With how you secure the snowboard. Vertically using these upper and lower. Fastening straps its difficult to cinch. Tight these straps once they are. Fastened you have rather you have to put. The snowboard on attach the straps then. If there’s any slack undo the straps take your best guess on how tight they should be reattached them hopefully by the third time the board will be secure. Enough but that’s kind of redundant. Because after only 20 minutes whether you’re just walking or hiking the board. Those straps start to come loose and the. Board starts swaying left and right the. Second problem i found was with the helmet net once the board is secured. Vertically you can then you then have the option of securing the helmet net above that the problem lies in two areas. The first is with these brittle plastic. Clips on each corner of the net that. Used to go into the upper and lower. Loops with the snowboard in place these loops sits inset beneath the snowboard. So these clips have to stretch around. And attach into those loops which puts a. Lot of pressure on this inferior plastic. And then the second problem is with the. Lower loop material themselves they. Don’t seem to have taken into account that snowboards have edges sharp edges at that and already after only a few. Hours hiking this material has already started to fray and will eventually fail. I imagine on the second day of my hike i. Was about thirty minutes from the peak. Suddenly i hear my snowboard helmet falling down into a bowl beneath me. Because one of these clips broke i then. Had to get on my snowboard to take a line i didn’t particularly want to take to retrieve the helmet which was. Something i would consider unsafe the. Third problem was with the stitching. Already on day to the left the right. Hand strap lower strap used to secure. The snowboard the stitching has already. Started to come away it hasn’t happened on the opposite side yet but I’m sure it’s just a matter of time other than that the navigate compartment is nice and roomy roomier than other packs I’ve. Reviewed the spine protector. Although adequate could really be extended beneath and above to it to. Protect other parts of the spine the. Waist chest and arm straps are all very. Good but i wouldn’t really recommend buying this pack as it just doesn’t seem to have been field-tested or despite the. High price bracket and the various. Endorsements and reviews thanks.

The free rider 26 abs mass pack the only. Bag on them are removable abs system so put the pack and. You’ve got your storage for you shovel probe open up into there it is the same. System same kind of step just attach red. Strip. Kind of top. There it is and then you’ve also got man. To carry sack just to keep this safe when you’re using the backpack of the conventional backpack pack itself is. Around sooner half kilos. Spock spock another benefit the free rider pack comes with its own detachable spine guard that you can use on its own. Without that same system. So essentially you get in a 75-pound spying yard that you can use on its own.

Mr. simmons and I’m here at the order box free-rider 22 women in this is. A pack for the hard chargers out there. People who are seeing really hard may be doing some jumps and just a couple features and make this packing and as you can see there’s piping on reinforced. That signifies in an issue where you need to get your shovel or your probes you can get to it really quickly another interesting feature about the free-rider 22 is a removable sign. Protection system you see right here you. Open the straps outlet you can pull a. Foldable spine protection pad out of the. Pack as you can see it’ll fit right to your back conform to what you’re doing you can also use the straps here and just wear it by itself either just looking for a little bit of extra spine attack down here as you’ll see if you take it out it lets you know danger no. Hi I’m pat from avalanche safety solutions and this is the order box free. Router 26 liter at lodge airbag pack. Okay so let’s take a look at the front of the pack we have straps here and in this. Compartment here are the top straps that are used for attaching your skis or. Snowboards in either a diagonal or cross. Ski or vertical carry for the snowboards. The front compartment of the pack it’s. Quite small but good for storing your keys or whatnot in there’s some. Extra straps in here for the protection. Spine protection system if you want to stand alone we’ll talk about that a minute and then there’s the helmet strap. Which goes on the outside of carrier helmet if you’re doing a boot packer hiking uphill you want a cool head. Inside the main compartment a bit more. Storage space in there and we also have. Fleece-lined goggle pouch and kind of. Near this goggle pouch is actually removable you can just slide it out of the pack take the entire piece right out. Or clip it back in take it with you. This is the safety compartment of the. Bag sleeves here for probe and shovel. Handle and then the shovel slides in there and behind that we have our. Modular airbag safety system that. Installs right there on this particular. Bag the free ride pack it also has this. Spine protector in there so this as well. Can be removed if you wanted to just take it for a day we just need to unclip it from the back and with the straps. That come with the bag you can wear it under your clothing without the pack and. Just have that extra spine protection. Okay we’ve got the pack on their’s some really neat features in this cat could make it super comfortable and handy for phreatic so don’t forget about the spine protection that’s back there a little bit of peace of mind when you’re free riding it’s got this really nice wide. Hips trap buckle that you can secure and. That’s really good because it can kind of keep the pack touch to your hips so. It’s not bouncing up and down if you’re hit pillow lines or other cliffs that kind of thing and of course the leg loop that goes along with that it’s as well. Going to need feature here with this the way the strapping system for the shoulders is developed contingent in it. Comes from the two points here and again. It’s an effort to reduce the pack bouncing around on your back when you’re riding and it feels really secure and snug on there on the back when those are smoked in and then again you got a little pocket here on the hip for little items so that is the order box free. • Hey it’s brad from back country skiing canada calm and today we’re going to talk about the last sport team of specter 2.0 alpine touring boot this. Replaces the original spectrum boot which we reviewed a few years back that can be found over here this is still the. Lightest 4 buckle boots on the market it weighs in at 1400 45 grams or about. Three pounds three ounces that’s four half pair size 27 and a half sizing. Comes in from 25 all the way to 35 sorry 31.5 in half sizes the boot is a little. But stiffer this year it’s got a 115 flex rating which is about five percent stiffer than previous version the shell. Is made of grille made and the cuff is p back so that’s what makes this boot so light again it’s four buckles so it’s a pretty light boot considering it’s a four buckle boot it’s also now compatible with alpine bindings tech. Bindings and tr2 bindings so that’s a new feature as well what is the same on. This boot is the low profile Pegasus. Buckles really simple easy cam device to use they don’t pop out when you’re using the boot takes a little bit of getting used to using them because they are so innovative but once you get used to using them they’re pretty easy to use. On a day-to-day basis thermo moldable. Easy liner is the same as well and also the 60-degree cuff rotation so a really huge range of motion in walk mode and. What i love about the less marked eva’s in the original version in this version is you don’t have to unbuckle the boot to get that range of motion i keep the boot totally buckled up i might open this one up just to get the blood flow again but in fully buckled mode you can. Get that sixty degrees which is pretty incredible the sole on the 2.0 is a. Vibrant sole it’s got the harder the. Harder sole in the yellow locations and the softer soul in the black location so that you can grip on a rock better and not wear down the tip and toe what is. New is well in the 2.0 version is a roomier toe box the last sport team has always had a really roomy toe box this time it’s even roomier I’ve had to put an insert in to take up some of that room because it was just so much room for me but nice feature because you can. Wheel the toes keep them warm the pivot point as well it used to be removable with an allen key now it’s built-in it’s fixed which is great because i did lose the pivot point once at a lodge which was not the most opportune time so now that’s a solid feature which is great color scheme is. New as well I’m digging it i think it’s. A great color scheme for the boot nice and vibrant and lots of fun to wear it’s also 5% stiffer as i said before. And you can definitely feel that when. Ski touring and it’s a nice feature price on this is 779 canadian 679 us so. It’s a pretty reasonably priced boot considering it’s such a lightweight boot and it’s got all these great features and yet it still skis the hill so I’ve. Ski turret in this the previous version the last 14 is spectre original promote. Two and a half three years i think now on the version 2.0 and it’s a I’d say better than the last version they’ve they’ve improved some features but you can tour in this you can ski the hill and it kind of does it also it’s one of my favorite boots that I’ve ever toured in or skied in period the women’s. Version is the sparkle and it’s got a nice color colorway as well if you’re. Looking for a really light boot and you. Don’t want to compromise anything on the down you want a good fit you want huge. Flex range you want a lightweight boot and optimal performance then I’d highly recommend the last sportive spectre and the last 14 of spectre 2.0 which is the new version so highly recommend this boot check it out if you’re in the market for an 80 boot that you also wanna ski the resort and occasionally for more bug reviews go to. Dynafit TLT7 Expedition CR Ski Boot – Women’s

You don’t wake up at 4:30 a.m. on dark winter days to lollygag, and neither does the Dynafit Women’s TLT7 Expedition CR Ski Boot. Traditionally, weight savings and performance in skimo boots have stemmed from removable tongues, walk-mode switches, softer plastics, and other frillery and frippery—such is not the case with the super-stiff Grilamid and carbon fiber combo Lambda shell and UltraLock 3.0 system. You can flip the boot from the generous 60-degree range of cuff mobility to fully tightened, locked, and loaded with the single top buckle, and if your forefoot needs a little TLC, the micro-adjustable lower strap provides even more customization.

Everything about the TLT7 Expedition CR boot has been streamlined for speed, so much so that one might mistake it for a snow leopard when you zoom by others in a blur on the skin track. The all-new Speed Nose bids adieu to the toe bail and Snowdynamic contour shape does away protruding buckles and components, thus dramatically reducing resistance when ascending and skiing down. Stepping into tech bindings is easier than ever with the new Master Step inserts, which utilize improved channels to guide pins in for precision and security. Even if you’re obsessed with summiting, a little comfort never hurts on long days in the alpine, so Dynafit added an extra cushy heat-moldable liner for a customized fit.

  • Hi it’s andrew from back country skiing. Canada.com we’re here at boulder hut adventures you can see the hut behind us here. Just wrapping up a week of fun ski touring and want to talk to you about the tour one waner 112 we’ve been. Checking out for the weekend for. Most of the season actually the tour one. Is one of three constructions options. Offered by dps you also have a pure. Three which is a stiffer somewhat heavier ski and a hybrid which is has. Some carbon but more traditional construction as well this is new this year I’d have to say the most remarkable thing about the thing about it is its weight the weight for the tour one is. Only one thousand five hundred and. Fifty grams and that’s for 184 ski this. Is the 184 ski that we have here let’s remarkably light especially with a benefit binding as we have them here just saying a little bit about the dimensions 141 at the tip 112 here and. 126 excuse me 128 here we’ve also reviewed. The regular construction of the winter. 112 if you’d like to see that review check it out right here so what’s. Different about the tour one construction is its it’s also a prep reg. Carbon glass fiber laminate construction. Unlike the regular winter 112 there’s a. Full cap here you can see here and there’s a balsa core and textured. Polymide talk is what the top sheet is. And also like many dps skis they call. This paddle tech which means it’s wider. At this point here so we’ve had a. Variety of conditions here at boulder. Hut over the week and this is a perfect. Ski for good conditions it’s outstanding. On the up track because it’s remarkably light like way lighter than anything. That i personally have ever skied. But when you get into hard pack. Conditions or gender. You know breakable cross stuff like that it might not be the ski to go with but. In the powder that we’ve had this week it was awesome and it’s a great. All-around ski so again this is the dps. Winner 112 tours one and just saying now. It comes in a 168 a 184 and a 190 cm i. Wouldn’t recommend this as a one quiver. Ski its kind of specialty ski because. It’s its so lightweight it’s not really. You can’t really ski it very effectively on the area but it’s the perfect tool. For good conditions back country missions. Especially long ones that’s it. Andrew from back country skiing canada if you’d like to see more reviews and read trip reports and read the forum’s go to. With a lightweight construction that will fly up steep skintracks like you’re on an escalator and a fun-having progressive shape, this ultralight offering from La Sportiva will keep a smile plastered on your face whether you’re skinning to the base of a steep couloir or making hop turns down a line you’ve been dreaming about skiing all season.

    Arc’teryx Procline Lite Boot – Women’s

With the ability to climb like a mountaineering boot and navigate technical ski mountaineering descents, the Arc’teryx Women’s Procline Lite Boot is a true alpine workhorse that will move up granite-strewn ridges and glacial ice with ease and remain rigid when you’re laying turns down a hanging snow field or narrow couloir. It’s clear at first glance that the Procline isn’t your standard AT boot—its split cuff, uniquely shaped shell, and integrated boot gaiter all indicate that this boot loves to ascend. In fact, the Procline brings a whole new level of uphill performance to the table with 360 degrees of cuff mobility (75 degrees fore and aft and 35 degrees laterally) to deliver an unsurpassed feel while skinning, bootpacking, or climbing sections of vertical rock and ice. And if that wasn’t enough, the Procline gets an extra bit of help on the up thanks to a lugged Vibram sole and reinforced toe cap to protect the shell from shrapnel when front pointing.

The construction of the Procline consists of a Grilamid shell more akin to a traditional AT boot to give the boot the solid downhill performance necessary for skiing and a split Grilamid cuff to save weight and enhance climbing mobility. Where the Procline really sets itself apart, though, is with its integrated corder gaiter, which is durable and waterproof to ensure reliable coverage in high alpine environs. Beneath the attached gaiter is a heat-moldable EVA liner with optional lace closure to ensure a precise and comfortable fit. The buckle system of the Procline consists of two aluminum latches and a cam-locking power strap that can be quickly secured without having to deal with traditional hook-and-loop straps during transitions.

  • A women’s-specific boot for ski mountaineering
  • Split cuff delivers 360 degrees of articulation
  • Attached corder gaiter resists wear and is waterproof
  • Procline Lite liner is heat moldable for a precise fit
  • Two adjustable buckles lie flat to reduce catching on pants
  • Cam-locking power strap ensures a quick and secure fit
  • Lugged Vibram sole climbs well on rock and packed snow
  • Rubber toe cap enhances durability when front pointing

    I. So new from aldoses here we’ve got the pro klein boots first line about turks actually brought out a ski boot and its really visible to what three or four. Years it’s taken two actually but it’s been 2 into the market they’ve actually. Jumped strains the market and done something that no other manufacturer has done so far, and they’ve allowed a boot to have side words lean as well as forwards and backwards when you’re in work mode quite a few bonuses to this primarily really it’s for traversing and. Any sort of sliding i see areas they might be coming across when you’re touring but once the boot is locked into. Skiing position it’s as rigid as you’ll find any other touring boot on the market most of that is down to the carbon cough they got going down the back of the boot another big bonus to this boot is the completely sealed and. Waterproof gator you go on it any sort of spring skiing you’ll probably encounter puddles and wet snow it’s a. Highly breathable fully watertight gator. On here which will protect you from any sort of moisture leakage all the up to your car so it’s real adventurous boot at the end of the day if you pan could do any sort of back country access more expedition base stuff as well really great choice what’s really. Moaning surprised by it is the ability to control wider the fattest key to this kind of boot as well expected usually. Third people will be on quite thin narrow short end skis but i think on. Test starts pretty happy to control a good one 21 20 mil wide sky and. Absolutely rip it down the piste as well so that was the arc’teryx procon bit come see us at skibob let’s try it on give it a go I’m sure be able to prove. To you that a real touring boot back contractors boot can feel really comfortable as well. You.

Hi every country in canada my name is radhika I’m the photo line manager for artery scooter we’re here at auto. Retailer for launching our new which is. Called a proc line it’s quite of an interesting design i think pretty innovative in the industry and it’s go. Back to you when we started the super process for a telex really decided to target our core consumers all our outreach them guys enjoy the mountains. To design footwear for them obviously we. Couldn’t forget that during winter all. These people are skiing and climbing during winter condition with snow, so we. Really wanted to offer them as well boot which was a design particularly for their activity to deliver the best level of climbing asking for the technique of the most technical environment arrived when we came back to the design concept. Of this boot idea was like what’s the main missing thing today in the ski boot. Industry there is one thing this is physically something which is able to climb very hard without the need of. Compromising with a climbing performance those two surfaces why because today and I’ve finished which you want to climb something very technical in winter it. Has to take ski boots and skis to approach the face to climb that i think the roots to do and if you want to have the best level of talent performances he has to take a second pair of alpine climbing which became 12 best in terms. Of climbing all he has to climb with his advice move through these touring boots which is obviously a compromise in terms of climbing and any performances so here we wanted ready to make to close this gap we solve this problem, and we really try to design an i braid in between an alpine climbing boots and a ski touring the first issue the first problem we try. To solve is really clear very simple is on that the way a boot walks compared to. A class from alpine canyon boots and the first issue is obviously on their on. Their own the cat design because you know every ski through a moose t-they works in this way, so we have a. Vertical rotation while an alpine climbing boot as a post off total ankle. Mobility which is really key to use crampons in environments so that’s actually the first cuff design which allows for a. Vertical and the lateral rotation to. Have really the best in terms of climbing and skinning your students it’s. A potential design which is really nobody it’s a double it’s a split car. Design two parts cuff with aria spoiler which engage mechanical you need to make this very solid this design obviously as. I said is designed for improving the climbing performances so for having really way perfect use of crampons and. Climbing the most technical routes in winter but obviously this is also a feature which delivers amazing dynasty for everybody in every country because this speed cap design the rotation on the calf allow for very natural walking in any condition obviously also it skins. So on your skin in that feel that the leave us for incredible the skin bein serious especially those thick traverses thus allows you for using and. Controlling the whisky and the skins was better than any other ski touring boots names so it’s a very big improvement for everybody in the background the second problem wants to solve goes. Really back on the protection so every technical alpine climbing boots for winter today has a gator to float that from snow and water and here we wear so basically made the first ski boot with a full gator which the rivers are full. Snow and water protection again it’s a snow proof system and some water resistant design with the zipper to act. To access to be extra step realistic again it’s a first in order to design a. Full gator boot or full gator scheme. The third the design solution which you really tackle which is also very important i will say it’s on the back of the back of the side we want to design the backer for our shell which was basically totally protected so there is. No lateral exposure again for protection. Obviously while climbing and also while skimming on deep snow tracks who don’t have their unwanted releases of the back. Of this battle is also a potential design is an i braid between a bar code system and a closure cable system such. As a bar iv the benefit of both designs why first of all we have the can o’clock. The fully aluminum bar code which with. A very strong mechanic lock on the heat for the helos for the ski performances but also thanks to the cable which is sliding inside the buckle so basically but when you close the bar code you also tighten the cable and tighten the force. So it’s basically working as a cable design systems there’s a bar but with the full benefit on buckle design we. Also have a third battery design here in the booth which is on the power strap the power strap is a very important. Element for the ski performances it allows for a very you know high locking points and for a very diatribes mission of the power wall scheme the power strap are all most of them are with the biker base and it’s a very big problem sometimes for your times in your doing you don’t wanna have these on one have digraph sticky on your pants and damaged in them so here we design a power subsystem which won’t the cam design so basically it’s a pool. System you just physically release it by pulling and pull the tab to close it. Very efficient very fast in transition and a very efficient closure design thanks to the same stress ball forward enforcement fear which really adapts the gun it has also really released hook for. Isis the penis the power turns of. Matthias we have state of the art of matthias food.we lamichael for very high level of rigidity and durable and you. No rigidity and performance at all temperature we have carbon fiber calf. With over ejection of green man for. Protection on the pivot point a carbon fiber charge the gorilla mean the spoiler for really strong rigidity we have also rubber toe cap which is designed for protection of the calf and if you’re climbing on rocks without crampons to give a certain amount of greater perfection these ball mounts all. Designed for mountaineering a lot of rabbles of our ability on the toe very high level of grip and performance is meant for climbing with a very short so length to 35 millimeters for the 27.5. Mundo points or one of the shortest in the industry and that’s we offer the. Boots in two different option that’s a proclaim carbon so the top of the end which comes with the carbon fiber calf which retails about i think one thousand. Us dollars not sure about the canadian dollars we have a version as well with the three limit cap, so we have the carbon fiber which retails at under fifty us dollar we offer the moon with. Two different option of liners a support liner which is a little heavier but hannah graham cider than the other ones with a bit more supportive cap design for you by the ski performances, and we have altered lies with the light liner which is lighter and has a little bit less durability professionally the boot. Waits for the proline carbone with light liner is about 1 kilo 100 grams 4% 1/5. And about what you know to android for the support driver on the compilation thank you very much have a great day.
