Alright guys so the first accessory we’re gonna go over today is the Lifeline system the lifeline system will attach at the top of your tree. And the Rope will run down. What this is really good for is. When you’re getting ready to climb up to your stand. Whether it’s a ladder. Or hang on in your climbing on sticks. You simply take your hook clip in. This thing goes right up the tree with. You just slide it up the best part about. This is if you’re climbing and you’re hooked in. And your ladder gives way. Or your sticks break. Something happens this is still gonna catch. And not let you fall. And hit the ground this is a. This is a great accessory the hunters safety system came out with definitely a life saver, so I’m gonna go ahead. And climb up the sand show. This works alright guys. How easy that not slid right up the tree with the lifeline. What I was talking about. It can act as your safety strap to is. When you’re climbing up you’re strapped in the whole way. You get up here to the tree. You have your knot just like.

You would on the quick-connect rope. Anything like that it’s going to keep. You safe up here anyways so really. You combine the lifeline. We like to use hang on. More we’re using a ladder stand today but. We really like them for hang on. And it’ll cut down on basically. What you’re gonna have to buy so. This right here serves as your lifeline. And as your safety strap for your tree the next accessory we’re gonna talk about is the Quick Connect the Rope style safety strap. Ialways keep in my pack. This is good for your really big trees maybe a tree that’s got. Some junk on it I’m gonna go ahead. And show this goes around very easy to put on. You get to the stands take off. You leave and just keep. One in your pack at. All time all right as. You can see this trees got a lot of junk on. It up here so when you’re trying to get your safety strap on here sometimes it’s a little hard to do but.

This is very quiet very easy to do. You do is you take a carabiner clip. And you’re good to go the. One thing I do recommend with. These is we try to get your safety strap as high up in the tree as possible so. That way you would happen to fall out of your stand you’ll be able to climb right back up into your stand. Icouldn’t get Jordan to come out here. And fall out of the tree. And show he wouldn’t do. Itried but he wouldn’t do. It but yeah so just make sure it’s up high. That way you fall you can be able to climb right back into your stand. And get out of it the last accessory we’re going to talk about today is the Quick Connect strap not the rope but the strap.

One here we leave in a lot of our tree stands. All season long so that way. You climb up you can simply come up clip in sit down. And you’re good to go, so I’m gonna go ahead. And show this works. And just like that it’s done. We like to leave these in our trees. All hunting season so. That way we walk in. We clip right in, and we’re good to go. All right guys that’s gonna wrap. It up today for a hunter safety system don’t put a price tag on your life. These vests are not. That expensive they’re 99 bucks. They got plenty of accessories to help. You out so you want to stop on into the bone shed check out the harnesses check out the accessories ask. Any questions don’t forget to watch. Loser man who hunt and fish Scout look wither. You hunt from a tree stand. You have to wear a harness. And use a lifeline so you’re attached from the ground up end of story so. That said one of my favorite harnesses right. Now is the HSS that’s hunter safety system ultralight flex harness the reason. This harness so much is. Because it’s very minimalist in its design. It weighs only 2 pounds. You have even under a bunch of layers of clothing you forget. That it’s even there. And also when you’re thinking about ascent control perspective there’s a lot less material on. This harness to collect harmful games spooking odors it’s. Another big plus of. This overall I’m kind of minimalist myself so the ultralight flex is really a perfect fit for me HSS has about nine different harnesses so.

They really have something for everybody. And for different parts of the season. Some of their harnesses have marva a vest type feel so. You get a little bit extra added insulation. And warmth you just like the minimalist approach. If you’re hunting an early season. When it’s a lot warmer out. It really makes for a great harness. All of the hunter safety system harnesses come with the same accessories. You get the carabiner. You get the tree strap. You get the lineman’s climbing belt. You can get an instructional DVD. You were to fall it comes with. That safety relief strap. You can step on so that you’re not going to cut off blood flow to your limbs the ultralight flex sells for about a hundred bucks so. Whether you’re getting this harness. Any other one just make sure you’re wearing something and stay safe out there.

It is the weekend before opening day of Kentucky’s bow season that’ll be September first opening day. You can see I am absolutely filthy sweaty nasty. Istink I’ve been out here hanging tree stands. You know you follow. This blogging at you know Hanson. Idon’t pull any punches. We do our own scouting and hang our own stands. And has I’m hanging these stands. It was just a good opportunity to talk a little bit about tree stand safety. You know it still amazes. This day many hunting buddies. Ihave that’ll climb up in a stand without putting on a full safety harness there’s no good reason at. All to do that I’ve had friends. That have fallen out of stands gotten seriously injured like. Most stands today are going to come with a harness. And they’ll work just fine but. Some of those harnesses are a little bit difficult to put on. Me it’s worth a few extra bucks to spend a little extra money. And get a good you know easy to use safety harness.

Some of my favorites come from hunter safety systems the. That I’m wearing here. You can see it through. All the bark and the sweat is their new hybrid vest. And very easy vest to put on. It weighs like two and a half pounds. And it’s one of my favorite features of. It is full of pockets. You know a lot of the older vests we’re not only thicker. And heavier one Burton. You know making a little harder but. They lack the pockets on the side of. Icouldn’t put my rangefinder. Icouldn’t drop a book. You know pocket knife flashlight things like. That down in there you know. This just makes it a handy hunting tool in addition to a top-notch safety tool. You know you pair this up I’ve got. You know I’m putting up a lock-on stand here. Ipaired this up with hunter safety systems lifeline system. You know if you’re hunting out of a lock-on. Or a ladder stand this is a must-have deal it’s a heavy climbing rope.

You know I can pull myself up on. That rope it’s not going to go anywhere. And it’s got a prusik nut. It slides up and down. All you’re gonna do just clip yourself onto. That harness screw that d root D loop down tight. And then as you start climbing just slide. It up with your belted in from the time. You leave the ground till the time. You get up in the stand. You know studies show. That the vast majority of tree stand accidents. And tree stand fatalities don’t happen. While you’re sitting in the stand. They happen while you’re climbing in. While you’re climbing out with the lifeline. You don’t have to worry about. That you’re safe from the time. You leave the ground to the time. You climb back down to pull your bloody arrow out of a graph.

Hi I’m John okay today. Iwant to talk to you about the new hunter safety system ultralight flex. This is a great safety harness there’s absolutely zero reason why you should not have. Some type of harness but regardless of what it is just make sure. You have if you’re in the hunt for a new safety harness give the new ultralight flex a look. Because it’s a great harness I’ve used a lot of different brands a lot of different models over the years. This right here is the best harness I’ve ever used. It comes with three easy buckles easy on Easy Off. You have a buckle across your stomach too for your legs. And then these shoulder straps they’re very comfortable they’re padded I’ve hunted with. Both in the early season. And the late season it’s a very good very comfortable harness the great thing about. This harness too is. It comes with sleeves. That we’ll go over some of the buckles. Some metal contact points on your harness. This helps to quieten. Than a lot of other harnesses. That are on the market so that’s a definitely a very big plus as well you.

Hi I’m Jerry why drew with hunter safety system. And welcome to the 2015 ATA show. Iwant to show one of our newest products it’s the hybrid with. Now flex technologies. What we’ve done with. This hybrid unit is added. This flecked technology which is a series of hexagons. That move independently of. Another which helps to make. This not only lightweight but extremely comfortable. And very pliable. This particular unit has the vinyl straps you’ve got six convenient pockets easy snap buckles easy on Easy Off. Everything is adjustable so. You decide to put on. Some layering of clothing you’re able to put. That down adjust the hardest directly to. It’s called the hunter safety system hybrid with flex technology.

You are aware they’ve had the Lifeline out for several years. Now but they’ve taken. This to a whole new level with a bunch of new features the first feature. We want to talk about. What the reflective lifeline is the new cowbell. And we’ve had a lot of customers tell. You know what we love the carabiner system. It works its easy to use but it’s metal. It can make a lot of noise climbing up. And down your stand so. What we’ve done is pretty simple here we’ve created. This rubber sheet now covers. This carabiner making this lifeline completely silent as. You climb up and down your stand the next feature. We want to talk to you about. What the reflective lifeline is just. That it’s reflective. You good afternoon sitting here in Missouri we’re taking down. Some of them are millennium tree stands. Iwant to show you guys the hanger harness from Hunter safety system. This thing has got some pretty nice pocket. You can put all your storage in a bow hanger. You know I’ve gotta always carry a wicked tree gear. Isaw there a thing comes in pretty handy. You know trimming up trees. Everything but the way. This thing you’ve got your. All your Lyman belt there. That goes around the tree. And you’ve got two straps on. Both sides there you know got the tightener. What it comes with I also buy a separate lifeline just a smaller. One not too full you know the full. That would go all the way down to the tree the. Ican just use the hang the tree stand to take the trees hands back but. This was what I do to take a tree stand down. This aisle undoes the lifeline there at the bottom of the tree. And just let it dangle. And then you know I’ll just bring it up just like as. Iwas to hunt and then. Iget up here I’ll place my line belt on. And then I’ll go ahead. And also put my separate lifeline. Iuse just for the hanger harness on as well. And then attach that way I’m. All the time at any point in time I’m always attached to the tree. You know big safety concerns. You know once seen Bay get hurt for sure but that’s. And then once I’m ready. Ijust detach the actual lifeline from here.

That way I’m still connected. And then I am ready to take down my lifeline. And then I’ll begin to climb down the tree. And then at that point in time. Ican start taking down the tree stand so here in a. Few minutes I get down a little bit further I’ll show. You guys a different angle. All right II will I’ve. Now got in position to actually take down the tree stand we’ve got the Millennium m25 here. And then I’ve got the straps. And the chain he’ll wrap around there so yeah. You know again you’ve got your Lyman belt. That goes all the way around the tree there. And then it’ll connect on the other side. And then you’ve also got high of a title. Irecommend you know at least using. That smaller lifeline as well. Another key feature. Iuse on these is like. When I’m doing me when I’m doing my hanging hunt so with the like sticks hang on sticks a lot of times. That way I run into is I’ve got trees with branches. You know going all over. Ireally want to cut them out.

You know that gives. Me cover so it’s kind of hard to get up there with. These hanger system so. Iactually used one as a dual so. All do is you know climb up as far as. Ican with the one that’s. Provided with the hunters the hanger harness. And then I’ll also use. This guy it’s got the same concept. That you’ve got your two carabiner hooks. You can use what I’ll do is I’ll get above. That branch and then I’ll actually attach. These to my actual alignment belt there so. It takes away your actual lifeline above. You but you’re still attached to the tree. And the concepts still the same, so we’ll get. This tree stand down. All show you guys the different. All righty it looks like. He was about a minute.

You know that’s a key feature with. This safety taking down. And putting up tree stands is just hunter safety system the hanger harness the setup up guy gives the hunter safety system hanger harness as well as. Ibought the additional small lifeline. You can also use these like in your climbers. And stuff moving up. And down but I can’t say enough about. You know I’ve been hunting a little over 20 years. And I’ve used this thing I think for the last three. Or four years and just cannot say enough about. These safety wise so I’ve had. Some near falls it can happen. Anybody can happen any point in time. You know I hate to see. You know any kind of. Anybody get hurt but. You know it’s worth the investment to get. You can use these for several years.

You know this is a lot cheaper. You know a hospital bill for sure so. You guys got any questions definitely post a comment. You know or just follow. Us on Valium outdoors for some. More video so hopefully. You guys enjoyed the video. And have a great week.

That are a very first step. If you loosen this up. And then I will get. This thing around that tree get. That straight there. And then take that next parachute clamp there. And make sure you tighten those things up. That way you’re always attached to. That tree and then my next step. And I’ll try to keep. It about like this. You know that way I’m fairly tight against. That tree and with. This will allow me to do. Once I get up there I’ll actually be hands-free. When it’s prepared to get. That tree stand hung so the next step is I’ll take my lifeline a smaller lifeline get. It around the tree there so. That way I’m connected. And then I take this so pick the. One that’s got the I love. It and then go ahead. And call it and the new set up there but. What this does is it will actually attach to the back of my harness here. And that way I’ve got in the middle of my body covered.

And the top that way. If I do fall and then I’m. Iam now caught I’m right here with. This as well as right here so. This thing works phenomenal. And I’ll try to get up here. And show you guys but. You just keep you just keep going up like. This it works really well. Ilike to I like to use. These kind of steps but. If you’ve got any kind of steps. You can you know I like to keep. This around the center of. That just works really well. Ikind of gets it out of my way. And everything and then as. Imove up I’ll just continuously move. This up to the next. One and then I’ll move here. And as you gain height on the tree you’ll want to make sure your midsection strap you’re staying you know staying tight. Now that tree should get smaller the higher. You go but you keep moving up like. That works out really well. And you know it’s a it’s a hanging hands free very safe way of hanging the tree stand so. Once we get the tree stand that’s there show. You guys the view, and we’ll move on to the next step.

Loser man who hunt and fish Scout look wither. You hunt from a tree stand. You have to wear a harness. And use a lifeline so you’re attached from the ground up end of story so.
