Budget AR15 Red Dot Review

You can never have enough of those believe me. They go bad, quick for a guy who wears glasses. I know, oh by the way, these suck I’ve already used these ones up bad enough, so prove my point.

All right, there’s a battery there, an allen wrench, nothing more there to the meat of the mata. All right here we go. This is how it comes right here, a little adjustment there, a little brightness adjustment there, I’m assuming that’s the bottom. There go ahead and put on your little rails, pull that off comes right off, like that. Oh check that out nice and it’s a very expensive uh, it’s very inexpensive as well. So that’s it! This is a review on the CV life red dot. If you have been in the game for a while with your ARS, then this is a okay blinking scope. I mean I, wouldn’t necessarily say that it’s by any means the best, but if you’re, just starting off in the game of a ARS building, ARS or whatever, you can spend a lot of money on sights and not have enough money to actually buy the AR. So I went ahead and bought a semi life reflex scope for mine I’m, not spending a ton of money on all the options.

Quite yet because I’m just getting better and better at it. You know, and if you’re, not in the military or if you’re, not an operator, I mean it doesn’t really make sense to spend a ton of money on items when you’re not really going to be using it a lot. So the thing that I did spend more money on is the muzzle break, but I’m gonna review that in a different video. But this CV life is pretty good. I mean I’ve, taken it to the range I’ve shot it its zeros, pretty good.

It keeps it zero really. Well, you know, I’ve been to the range a few times with it so probably put about a couple hundred rounds through this and this site, and it’s really clear and it’s got different settings on it. It’s got a green, of course in a red and I’ll just go ahead and show you that red, so you can see that alright and then here’s the green. Of course. These are the brightest settings, so you can dim that quite a bit, you can change that, of course, to dot.

You can change it to just the kind of crosshair like that. Let’s see this one is the circle kind of see that and then the dot is the last one there. So you barely see that dot, which the dots good I mean it works really well, and I usually zero on the dot and then also back over to the more reflux. You know first option so anyway. This is a really really good starter for only 26 bucks I mean it’s kind of a no-brainer on Amazon, so check it out. I’ll put a link in my description of the CV life scope, so you can go check it out.

Now you guys have seen this red dot sight in a couple of my other videos, so today we’re going to go ahead and give it a proper full review. Today we’re going to be reviewing the cv, life red dot sight. Now for all my battlefield fans out there. I think the last game it was in was battlefield, 4 or whatever uh yeah, the coyote rds, my favorite red dot sight in the game kicked a lot of ass with it.

One day I decided that uh, hey, I’m gonna order a red outside. Of course, I wanted to keep you know it uh budget friendly. So we ordered this bad boy here and uh. You know pretty nostalgic. My first red dot sight been using iron, sights for a long time, so uh yeah we’re gonna review this bad boy. So let’s go ahead and get into it. Gonna get to uh the contents in the box. Of course, you always have your wipes for your lens.

You have your instructions here which we won’t be needing. You have the actual red dot sight with the cover on it. For now take this bad boy off of all my battlefield fans out there, man, that’s that coyote rds baby love that damn thing we have. We also have our screws there’s another one in here, but it fell down. We go for adjusting, so we have everything here: let’s go get our weapon and uh. Let’s see how she looks all right, everyone we’re back.

We have our weapon here, our good old trusty, mp15 sport ii, um, of course, rockin iron sights here, as always, but we’re going to go ahead and put this red dot sight on here and see how she looks see how it works screw this bad boom, all right there you go, give you guys a uh view down site, so you can see how it looks for yourself all right. Everyone, we’re gonna, aim down the sights here. That’s how it looks it has several different, um rectangles.

It has up to four. This is the one that I like the most so yeah pretty neat. Obviously it’s not zero. Alright guys that’s going to conclude our review of the cv life read that site, like I said man, great budget, uh red dot sight. I would definitely recommend it for anyone, that’s looking to get into putting sites on their weapon. As a second amendment enthusiast, I highly recommend this thing. Um, obviously, um limited aim uh, it’s just awesome so to anyone out there.

Hey guys welcome back to pro gun today, I’m going to be doing a review of the cv life red green reflex sight. I want to thank cv life for sending me this product to review. It comes in a nice box with foam padding you get a cleaning wipe along with two allen, wrenches one of them to site in and the other one to attach it to your picatinny rail. It’s got a nice rubber protective case now.

The first thing you’ll notice is the quality of this thing is just phenomenal for a budget priced item under 40 bucks. This is made out of aircraft aluminum instead of cheesy plastic. It even comes with the battery. It’s got a very generous glass lens, that’s very easy to see through it’s extremely clear, it’s clearer than my television and what I like about this. The reflex sights enable you to have very quick target acquisition.

The reason for that is because you only have one focal point: you put the dot on the target and you pull the trigger, so it also allows you to shoot, naturally, with both eyes open when you’re using sights and you’re aligning the front and the rear sight. People have a tendency to squint or use one eye uh. This eliminates that and, like I said, uh being you’re only focusing on the dot on the target um.

It’s amazing how quickly you can find your target with this so um. This has green and red dot and it’s got uh four different site modes. It’s got a dot, it’s got a circle and it’s got two different crosshairs now I’ll I’ll. Try to see if you can see this uh may be difficult because of the reflection, but we’ll try it anyway. So I have this mounted on my ar-15 permanently.

Now hope you could see it. It’s the green dot very clear. Like I said it’s also available in red. It’s got five intensity levels, it’s got a dot, it’s got a circle and two different cross hairs, both in red and green uh. You can see what I mean now as far as the focal point. You just point that dot and pull the trigger nothing to line up. There’s no uh, you know multiple points between the front and the rear sight, and you know having the front of the gun tipped up high enough to see through the sights.

You just point and shoot. Target acquisition is just instantaneous with this and the best part about it is that it trains you to shoot the way you’re supposed to shoot with both eyes open um. I was using this expensive sight and it’s worthless. I can’t stand it so I mounted this on my ar-15 and this will be my permanent sight. Cv. Life makes a a bunch of great products for your rifles.

This is it I mean when I first put this on my ar-15. I thought you know what this is a good site um, you know for the money after shooting two magazines. I came to the conclusion. This is a great site for the money.

You will not find anything in this price range matter of fact. If you spend 200 you’re, probably not going to get anything much better than this, it’s that good of a product so go check them out. This is CV life, one by 22 by 33, red green dot, gun sight, scope, $18 for plus reading that twelve twelve hundred twelve hundred and eighty-five swings that’s good. So this was the inside instructions, yeah Aaron wrench.

It looks very well protected nicely padded, here’s! Yes, you can cover plastic cover for the lens. If it’s very well looks very well made it’s made of aluminum or derisively called chinese IAM. Of course it’s made in China, but it has a have two quality. It feels good. It does come with a battery, so I’m gonna put it around and see what it looks like Harris looks pretty damn good.

You can change you to read. Also I, can you can change the two different kinds of radical looks good. Where do you go where they go so I chained to a dot in a circle looks good, so listen. This is where you can change the radical and you can move the top from right to left and up and down adjust it you it’s made for picatiny rail, 20, millimeter, Wow nice for 18, lousy bucks.

What’s there not to like now, if I’m, special, ops or maybe feel I mean invest in a 500 dollar one but I’m just a weekend blinker. And how can you lose with with this since wealth made very solid I’m sure you will work, I have a plenty of CV life stuff and they all worked with. Let me put this on my 300 blackout or my 458 SOCOM nice I’m impressed.

You really need read that system for now this is I, think third product already from Fiocchi that I reviewed so far I have been a fan of the brand so far their products been good. So, let’s see what this product is about, I had a chance to test it three times already on the ranch to see how it holds with the recoil and everything we will talk all about about it later. So this is a new product from piache and it is very similar if you have watched the video where I have reviewed a bunch of budget read bad systems, it’s very similar to the dagger defense.

Now, if you remember, if you watch, if you haven’t watched the video just check it out, because I reviewed a bunch of very popular reddit systems on Amazon and I compared all of them in one video and the to me, the winner of that video was the cheapest one, the dagger defense, because of the design because of the features, the ease of use and this this system right here, this red dot system is very similar to it. It’s very similar to it. I am a fan of this low profile radar system that does not make your you know rifle look and feel bulkier and heavier I like the system, and you know if you, if you watched any of my reviews on red bath systems, I like the ease of operation and stuff, like that too, so a little bit about the system really quickly just to go over.

It is currently $43 $43 99 on Amazon. The link is in the description below. If you were to check it out, it’s extra wide, 40, millimeter objective. The lens does feel a little bit of fragile, but you know again for $43. Don’t expect it to be super heavy-duty, although it does feature the scratch resistant material and you know more or less shockproof lens, but you know I wouldn’t be too, although you know, if you do break it again, it’s not like you spent. You know an hour. Man alike, like a professional overall I would say it’s a good system, for you know your range days.

You know if you, if you practice on the range a lot and especially if it’s an outdoors range, we all know how how damaging that can be to whatever you have to the optics on your rifles and your rifles of course themselves. So I do have a cheaper rifle for my range days and I do have a bunch of cheaper scopes for those days where you know it takes the beating a few other things now. The turn on turn off button here is on the right side of the scope, and it is very easy operation. All we have to do is press it once and you’re read that comes on and then in order to turn it off.

You press and hold it about two three seconds, and it turns off. I really do like this button operation compared to some other systems that are out there, where there is a combination of several buttons that you need to press or where there is, you know, they’re they’re, different, there’s a spinning wheel, which I kind of like – so another feature here is that it does feature several different reticles. As you can see, there’s 1 2, 3 4, 4 radicals pretty good. So let’s take a look turn it on and, as you can see there is this one.

There is a simple dot red bat right. It’s like it’s actually very sharp and clear, not sure how you can see it here in the video, but it is pretty sharp and clear, for you know on the budget red that systems compared to a few other, much more expensive systems that I have reviewed where the reticle was appearing washed out and just too much. You know this one is precise. It’s clear there is this option right here, which is a simple cross and I’m, not sure. If you can see it clearly or let me try to focus it in and see if it shows up a little better.

Not really. My camera does not do the justice to the scope and of course there is this one as well. There are several different brightness options and to change the brightness all you need to do is you need to press the button once and as you can see, it gets brighter and brighter and brighter, and then it turns off, and then this is the lowest brightness setting and further in the video I will show you how it all looks in the dark in the dark room. You know. So there are 1 2, 3, 4, 5, 5 brighten settings, which I think is good I, keep it on a 3.

This is my optimal one. It’s pretty good in the dark, and it’s pretty good on the bright Bay as well. I think 5 settings is good. I have reviewed some read that systems where there were 11, different, brightness settings and I I. Think it’s. You know it’s a little bit overkill. It’s a little bit too much so a little bit more about the overall design features the batteries are here now, let’s see if I can open it with just my fingers. Yes, I can, over time you might need a flathead screwdriver in order to open up, because it probably will get a little bit too too tight and, as you can see, it features three LR for 4h batteries and it’s three of them.

It’s they’re just attached with you, know a plastic piece, but this are just your regular small batteries that you can get anywhere in Walmart or Home Depot, wherever you shop, pretty simple. So this is where the batteries are yeah. We talked about the red dot control in general. Now the windage and elevation adjustments are here as well. You can see the windage adjustment is right here or, and they do feel a juice, and actually they do send another pack of batteries, which is very nice, I think you know it’s really nice to have some extra batteries and they do send some tools in order to make the adjustments the windage and elevation adjustments.

This is this is a tool for windage and elevation, and this is a smaller tool to you know place it on your rifle. You’re gonna need that as well, which we’re gonna talk a little bit about later. Let’s see so this is really one tiny little con. That I wanted to mention here is that right out of the box, I did have to adjust it’s it’s a minimum con really really minimal, because you do whenever you buy a brand new red that system you do need to adjust it and zero it anyway on the range. So it’s really had that big of a deal I would have done it anyway, but this was pretty off.

It was really off. You know, so it’s not like fiacci does any zeroing before sending this product out, and that would be a really small recommendation for faaaace guys. If you want to step up your game, do zero it out before sending it, because that would be. That would be really really nice. So, like I said, this is the windage adjustment right here labeled as AR, and the elevation is right here. You can see it says up yep, so, let’s actually move on to the we talked about the you know, overall quality and build, and some design features.

Let’s actually talk a little bit about the installation, and the installation is very, very simple, like I said they do include the tool and all you have to do is unscrew this two screws right here and I’m using looks like I’m using the wrong tool. Let’s see so this one and this two right here and what that allows is for this thing to slide out a little bit more. There we go, and now we can mount this rifle and a really good recommendation from one of my viewers which I have not I’m, not you know I’ve never heard about before, but it is a really really good recommendation and really makes sense whenever you’re mounting your read that system make sure, because you know how it bubbles, because obviously this screw right here is a little thinner than the groove on your Picatinny rail.

Whenever you’re mounting it make sure to slide it backwards right backwards. No, you know what backwards to this way so so forward. Whenever you put it make sure you move it forward and then you screw it in. So what that allows for is that force whenever it pushes back whenever the rifle pushes back with the recoil? It’s not gonna, because if you, if you, if you mount it, you know on this side of the groove, it might keep pushing it a little bit forward forward every time there is a recoil every time you’re shooting, but this this sort of mounting it allows to be already all the groove.

So with the recoil, it’s not gonna push it back, because there is no way back to go so I hope that makes sense because it was all over the place. So, as you can see, the mounting the installation really takes about 30 seconds. I don’t know, I was I was talking while I was doing this, but this is exactly what I was talking about. As you can see the you know the profile of the rifle didn’t really change. It still is very agile. It’s not it’s not bulky, it’s not heavy, and and that’s what I really like about this, you know read that system.

Another cool thing: if you are wondering you, you can use that read that system with your flip up sides, it’s gonna align perfectly with you know, with your read up. Obviously it should that’s the way to go and it should align with this side. Groove right here, which you can see. I know if the camera is doing you justice, but yes, yes, you can see it right here that the side now whenever it comes to the recoil, as I said, I was able to test the three times already on the range probably about 500 rounds went with this red bass system.

It did stay on the zero, which is very nice. This is really old. That is enough for me, because I do like to redo it and recheck it. You know make sure that it is zero out before every range day that I have so as long as it stays through one rest day. It’s good for me, but so far you know in order to test so far, I have not received it since the very since the day, one and you know 500 rounds and it’s been zeroed. So it is, you know it is really good. Whatever it comes to the reviews on faaaace, you know Amazon page for this product.

Again it’s a Fiat GRS 30 readout system. There are no negative reviews so far, which is very nice only 38 reviews. So far, but again, like I said this isn’t their new product, so you know they’re gonna be they’re, gonna, be picking it up, because it’s very nice whenever it comes to the dimensions a little bit to mention here. The site is about three and a half inches in length. The total length, not nada. You know not the Mount but the whole thing, and about 2 3 inches tall again from the mound to the very top of the site.

So, like I said it is very. It is very small. It is very, very, very light as well with the weight. I could not find a weight anywhere on the product, but I think it is about eight ounces. Eight ounces. You know weight of off this side, which is you know, which is super light, because you know your typical. You know typical reddit system, you know with the full mount and everything would probably be running at about twenty 30 ounces, so like double or triple the weight of this site, and that’s really that’s really all I can say about the site so far, I do love it like I said this is my everyday side.

Now it is, you know, I, don’t even have to remove it to store this right, because it is so low profile and does not make the rifle bulky. I think this is my favorite part and, of course, the price at $43. You really cannot go wrong. You know for your everyday set. The controls are very easy. The quality feels good. So the only like I said, the only small complaint that I have about this side really is that it does need to be adjusted right out of the box. You know when you get it like.

I said you would want to do it anyway with your brand new radar system, but you know just a little recommendation for piache. If you guys could zero it out before sending it out would have been absolutely amazing. A few other things that do come in the box. Besides, the tool is the your no just keep that way, just cleaning towel and, of course, a little manual where they do explain little things here and there I wonder if they did explain. Oh by the way. Yes, it does have a three year warranty, which is really nice.

This is something fiacci does offer on all of their product, so this is. This is really cool. They do not. Another thing I would recommend to Fiat is attach the instructions on how to zero the site. It would be very helpful and doesn’t really cost anything extra just to print out, and people in the gun community would really appreciate it. So thank you very much guys for watching this review. Hello, everyone welcome it’s converse. Actually, special. Welcome back to the channel I was sent for some testing and evaluation. A you know by Fiocchi I ate one of their one inch, red dots or micro, red dot, I guess as they referred to it, and it came with a riser. You know to be used primarily on a AR platform. Something I need to I need to get my a are out and take the scope off of in throw this on and test that a little bit, although it seems like it’s made pretty well off the materials of it seem pretty solid.

You know a nice machined aluminum base rubber caps, you know for covering the lenses it does have there. You go there’s the back of this for windage and elevation ops. You can know so you can’t adjust it and eleven different brightness settings. Now it does. You know one order to turn it off. You do have to come all the way back around to zero. There is no option for off between settings.

You can’t, if you want to use it on, say nine. You have to turn all the way to nine and then all the way back again, you know versus some that would have you know brightness off of brightness off of brightness off. Let’s say zero would be off than one off two off three off this one doesn’t have that you have to turn away back around the zero, not a deal-breaker for me, you know, might be a good excuse.

You know to pick up a new upper for my AR. That’s right! The only one I’ve got right now is chambering in my 20s, my one team bring twenty five forty five sharps and it’s really a hand loader around I need to pick up something at five, five, six or two to three wild, so I can have just a it comes with two of the coin type batteries. You know the lithium cr2032 batteries, so I already have one in the in except no, they used to test now.

I haven’t shot it with it yet, but just standing outside with it being able to you know even and broaden you know a bright sunny day. I can turn it up and you can still see the dot in full daylight, so good indication it comes with a screwdriver haven’t I’m, guessing that’s, probably to adjust the windage and elevation haven’t pulled these off yet so this is a first for all of us yeah.

That screwdriver would be for adjusting your windage and elevation knobs, so they are I capped knob, which is nice for out a gun. That’s going out going afield exposed hurts like a target turret great for a bench but easily gets bumped and can throw off your zero. If you’re carrying a firearm around a lot, it has the name, an allen wrench for the for the to mount screws on the base on the riser to go to your.

You know. You know Picatinny rail, this as well as the eel. If that’s true that locks the sight down to the riser itself, so it’s nice that it comes with the correct tools for you: you’re not having to scrounge for them as well as it comes with a lens cloth. Bob just got his box from Amazon today, I’m pretty sure this thing, I ordered it’s a fiancée, RDS, 2025, red dot sight for $29 just ordered yesterday now is here today: let’s opened up and see yep, that’s what it is. Of course it’s made in China I have no problem with Chinese made stuff. They put a craft on the far side of the Moon already so I’m sure they can make a okay red dot sight. So here are the stuff that come with it instruction manual lens cap: it comes the two battery I start one.

It has some tools, Aaron, wrench and screw to install the scope. It has a one inch riser Weaver type of month, and this is made of aluminum feels very quality made and sturdy supposed to be. Waterproof and shockproof has real good reviews. Four and a half out of five stars. 137 now I have turned on its a red dye red. That’s very thin: I prolong highest 11. You can increase intensity from 0 to 11. Suppose we should be able to make a green I, don’t know how to do it. Yet if cool looks pretty pretty, damn good looks feels very sturdy coated, Lin’s cousin, my fingerprint on it.

Okay, good morning, what we’re looking at sight, this comes with a one inch riser mount, which is great. You see my cat chappie in the background too. We’re going to do is we’re gonna, take this from taking it out of the box, putting it together and then mounting it on to my weapon and we’ll see what it looks like okay package, pretty well, as most things from shipping purchaser will see, I got this through Amazon Prime.

What we have here- okay shipping document, as you can see, it’s well packaged in there. Let me get you a good view. Okay got the actual box here, let’s take a look there we go. Let me get that into view. At the actual box side see, we need to do to open this box up right here. It’s gonna be a flip open, okay, alright, so we opened the box. What do we have inside looks like I have a screwdriver? Okay, that’s going to be my riser mount right there.

It’s like they’re, giving us two batteries: cleaning cloth and the instruction booklet; okay, right there, okay, the instruction booklet! If you open it up, it’s gonna have technical, specs, physical specs, environmental, specs and, of course, the instructions on the back on where to put the batteries. How to do the adjustments? Okay, I used to in here right now and then go ahead and put this guy together all right.

It’s also got a silicone gel pack, packed in there to help prevent moisture, and we got the riser right here now. This riser is nice, and let me tell you why, if you out use including the riser with this, and what that does, is that automatically saves you about twenty bucks or more because just a riser? If you look online, it’s gonna cost you right about twenty dollars or more for a good riser.

We also got two batteries comes with it. So, let’s take a quick look. All right, the red dot sight got that looks like 11. Adjustments for brightness comes with cover on it on both sides, which is nice and you’ve, got your windage and elevation adjustments right here and the way these work normally. Is you unscrew the cap as you unscrew the cap, then you have. If you can see right there, it’s a flat tip, which is what you’d use the screwdriver for then, to make your adjustments.

You would just come over here and move it. However, many clicks for windage and for elevation to make those adjustments. We’re gonna, put the cap back on there to keep everything nice clean and secure. Now, let’s pop some batteries in this thing, so you just unscrew the top off of the adjuster here boom right. There looks like it’s gonna take one battery, so I’m gonna use the flat tip screwdriver here, because what I want to try to do is make everything done without using any tools that didn’t come with the package and what that’s gonna do is going to tell me how well the manufacturer thinks of the consumer.

If I’m gonna give you everything, you need to put my product together and put it into use or if you’re gonna have to use some of your own tools. Okay, so now we got the battery gonna place, the battery inside all right, facedown, positive side up we’re gonna screw the top back in these are usually a little gentle and tricky. Try to get that on there all right there we go, then, of course we got to hope.

We put the batteries in the right way. Okay, so I’m gonna put that extra battery back in the box a little bit screwdriver in the box cause I’m, not gonna, need that right now, okay, so take the cover off and what I’m gonna do right now is see. If the red dot comes on, yeah, look it and there we go okay, I’m gonna, see if I can get this use this as a background here, I’m gonna try to aim it through here, which is a hard part.

Okay, you see that red dot there, that’s the red dot for the sight right there, so coming out of the gate, we’re looking pretty good. I’m gonna turn this up to the most high setting, which will be 11. Try to see if I can aim it down here again there. It is you see that brightness there, alright so coming out of the box. This thing is working like a champ so far, which is great.

The price of this thing is incredible: when you compare it to other full price models and stuff, the other thing about Fiocchi is what makes a company customer service. Customer service is what’s going to make or the company, and let me tell you something about Fiocchi. These guys are incredible. They are customer service is right on point. If you have any issues they get right on top of it.

What more could you ask for from the company? So now, what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna install this on to the riser, so this is a Picatinny rail setup, okay, so I’m going to take the riser now the rise are on the pick on they’re on to the site. Let’s get that sucker in there okay! Now, as you see, it’s got the screw. That goes all the way across. You want to make sure that goes into the rail setting for the pic rail so that you get a nice good, secure, lock in alright we’re going to tighten this thing down.

I, don’t know if it’s required or not a lot of times when I do my final set up onto my weapon, I’m going to use some Loctite or something like that, but I, don’t know if there’s a front where are backwards for this because I don’t know if the covers are on or the same size, it’s a lens front lens, but it seems to fit. It seems to fit better that way. So, okay, so you get this tightened down on the rail I’m, not gonna, really crank it down.

Yet what I’m gonna do now put a black mat on here, because my weapon is tan, so good background, so that you can see what’s going on. One second set that to the side. Okay, here we go now we’re gonna mount the site along to the weapon, using just again the tools that we have so I’m going to take my site and where I normally put it for me, measuring I’m, taking my other light off here and everything is I, go about four and a half spaces in to do my setup, so I’m gonna measure this.

Let me first make sure it’s gonna be loose enough to go ahead and fit on there. Again. It’s got a indent here and I. Don’t know if you can won’t. Let me I’m down there. It’s got an indent here and I, don’t know if you can see that or not, but let that indent is for is to set inside of the pick rail so that it doesn’t slide back and forth when your fire, okay, so I’m gonna. Take this we’re gonna go for in one two, three four and a half and that’s about where I have mine setting so about right.

There is where I lock mine in okay, so I’m going to set it down and we’re gonna, lock it in again all I’m using these tools that came in the box, so basically right out of the box. What we’ve done is we’ve installed the battery we’ve put on the riser. We’ve checked this to make sure that the red dot comes on I, checked, setting 1, which is the lowest setting and setting 11, which is the highest setting just to make sure both are done working properly and also want to point out for safety purposes.

If you look, I got a chamber block right there, the block that the weapon is empty, the webinar on faith, something you want to make sure again, I- would normally use once I get my setup. The way I want it. I would use some Loctite just to help keep those screws locked in there right where I want those okay. So now we have it set up here. I’m gonna take the cover off. Okay. Now, let’s see what we have here got to set up pretty tight nice on the weapon.

Okay, nice setup also looks really nice on there. The reason why, on this type of weapon, the riser is important is because, when I pull out my stock on this particular model, my cheek is gonna, be on this bar and in order to bring the weapon up to a perfect sight picture where I’m not having to bring my head down to the site. This riser becomes very important. Okay and that’s why I have a riser installed on this.

If I installed the red dot right on the pick rail, then, when I bring the weapon up to fire, I’m gonna have to dip my head down in order to look through the sight picture. Okay, so I’m going to just put it on the left. Just put this guy on 11 and we’re gonna see if I could see that red dot there I’m gonna try to show it to you again using this black mat and let’s see, if I can do that.

Okay, it’s just a bunch of angle in here, see if I can do it, you can see the red light in there now when you actually look through it. It’s just a straight flat red dot. Let me try it on the lower settings. Try it on one and that might be a little bit easier to see just hard to line it up here with the camera. But there you go see that red dot right there, that’s what you’re looking for so there you go turn it off, so we don’t burn out the battery right and then the next thing I’m gonna do is put the cover on to make sure we protect the lenses and that’s it.

This is what I’ll be using I, don’t know how well it’ll last I know: I’ve got one similar to this. On my ak-47, the rattling from that loosens that screw right there, the one that goes straight down into it so that loosens up and it just becomes useless, and then it also loosens all the sights on it. So I’m not expecting a whole lot, but this is a shotgun you don’t really need a sight on a shotgun anyways.

My friend was talking to me about this, like. Why are you getting a site on your shotgun and I said? Why not? It seems like a proper answer. Everyone should have a site on a shotgun, especially one is cool-looking as this with all its rails in that sort, so that screws right off screws right on it does unscrew that and then put this on for, like I, said quick and easy access.

Should you choose to do it that way, of course, right over here he has a battery compartment for the scope itself, so we’re not gonna deal with that right now, guys are familiar with how batteries and stuff work and how much of a pain them. Okay, you know what our opinion about the put on. So, let’s just do once there you happy now there we go screws right on just like that.

It’s beautiful that is a very tough knob to turn. Well, it’s loosening up now, but it wasn’t that tough knob to turn and as you turned it, it turned on and then gets brighter and brighter or darker and darker, depending on ones when you turn it on, it’s nifty kick and then, since I have this off I’ll just pop these into as batteries it to be so small. So it’s pain, one down latch, of course, the linear backwards.

Doesn’t it always always happen? Yeah first, try! Okay! Second, one don’t come out there. We go these little tiny screen. Batteries are such a pain and, of course, of course, we’ll get to it all right next, one, if you know of an easier quicker way to put these in, let me know they’re going to stack them on top of each other and then slip them in at a 90 degree angle to the grounds and then, of course it has a stupid spring on it, which is helpful and at the same time, Wow.

Well, putting this on is way harder than I expected. Yes, sometimes there are I was right there and I fell out. You think you’d be watching a scope, video and seeing just how difficult it is. The stupid screw in first try Lego Batman 2. Is it I have to do it? Leave a red dot. A button doesn’t work. What’s the point of having in the bottom there’s abundance, I gotta work has to be loosened or something I gets loose, I, don’t know what I was expecting.

This was inexpensive, so I guess don’t screw it in all the way, all right so inexpensive scope. That’s the consequences, your gifts, all right so now about this bad boy. So what you need to do is loosen these two screws right here, which, let’s try the big one. First tool came with: it simply loosen same air symbol, loosen whoa, too loose I. Think the scope is gonna. Give me issues I.

Think it’s gonna fight me every step of the way, but that’s okay. It was an expensive get what you paid for it all right and then just line it run it on I know. I should be coming from the other side, but you don’t know put this since I suspect. This thing is gonna fight me every step of the way. I am gonna, put it forward more than anything else. Does this be honest? This is a sight I’m, a shotgun.

How necessary is a sight on a shotgun I love. You do a really really far shooting a lot, however, we’re just gonna be doing a little bit of shooting like I, am and using your long-range stuff for your aka or your or your AR, or something like that, which is a lot more logical and you don’t anything more fancy than that. Tada there we go. There’s my SDS import least 12 shotgun, with inexpensive sight for plinking with that’s about it all right.

Hello: everyone, my name is Kenny Carmindy from the airgun channel, my gun reviews, and today we are reviewing a red-dot reflex sight from CV life. It’s their one by 22 by 33, millimeter reflex sight with red and green for reticle dot sight and also with a red laser. It sells for $35 of an inch long is powered by a 3, volt lithium ion coin battery number 2032, which is about the most common claimed battery out there.

It has a 15 point, 8 meter field of view at a hundred meters or that equals to about 52 feet at 100 meters. The sight is probably excused on like a ar-15 type rifle the assault type rifle. You know we gonna sight in on something that might be moving and get a wider angle of view to select your target. I did not think it was really a real good fit for an air rifle until I tried it.

I did a review on a hot Sun, 125 and I decided to try out the a CB life rifle scope. There 6 to 24, buy a 50 millimeter adjustable objective, illuminated reticle scope, and that was only $39, 99 and I thought it was just a fantastic Buy and apparently CV life saw my review and they can’t with me and asked me to review some of their products, and this is what they sent me. All I could say, is I’m impressed.

I mounted it on the smallest shortest pellet rifle that I have with a weaver mount on it, which is the Ruger silent, hawk I, didn’t think it was going to be a real good fit, but you know at 12 yards, you know for hunting her, for probably the best use would be somebody trying to call rabbits and squirrels out of their garden and away from the bird feeder. I quick access I printed out some squirrel targets and decided to give it a try.

I put a black shootin C dot on the head of the squirrel and on the body of the squirrel, were one would shoot at 12 yards I cannot see those dots but I figured they would. Let me know you know how I was doing and I was very impressed. So let’s take a quick look at this accuracy test using the reflex sight on this thing at 12 yards okay, it took five shots, adjusted the sight down.

Just a little bit took another five shots and, as you can see, the quarter will cover everything. So I’m gonna make one more adjustment down and left a little bit and see what we can do with that bull’s eye. Remember: this is zero magnification one power, 33 millimeter 12 yards shining, a basically the I’m using the crosshair sight, which the crosshairs at all yards basically covers that circle.

That’s what I’m using the center it red dot sights are not meant for match grade target. Shooting they’re meant for a quick acquisition and a quick kill. So I’m gonna just a little bit more and see we get it a little bit closer to the bullseye and then we’re gonna shoot some squirrel targets. Okay, I gave the red dot sight, a quarter turn down and quarter turn left, and obviously that was too much so I’m gonna.

Take half of that back and I’m going to switch to a hunting pellet, the H and in Terminator it makes more of a wad cutter tech cut in the paper target. So on we’re shooting squirrel we’ll be able to see better word hit. Okay, I think I’ve got it sighted in pretty good with the hmn Terminator 7 25 green, so we’re gonna just take a couple of shots at the head and a couple of shots at the body.

You can see the black dots I won’t be able to see those black dots at twelve yards. I will only see the squirrel silhouette, so I’m shooting at the head and shooting at the body, and those shootin see, should tell me how close I got well holiday. They do two headshots on the money and, if I’m not mistaken, I got two shots through the same hole. Yeah like I said I could not see this.

Not that’s. Actually, amazing for the damn red dot sight. Absolutely amazing, hey I, know I put two through that and yep. That is two holes. Two holes in the same damn spot right there, where I put that dot now I’m going to show you what it looks like from where I was shooting I’m, not sure how this is going to show up okay- and this also comes with a laser and so I once I had the head dot sight sighted in I used that to reference to sight the laser in and then I did a little target shoot up that same squirrel, uh I, first shot at a wipe top that I put on there and then check where I shot and then I put a red dot on there.

So I could really hit that dot with the laser and I. Once again, I was impressed. So, let’s take a look at laser accuracy. Test, okay after I, went to sight in the laser I first shot at this in the direction of this black dot. I can’t really see it and two shots hit right down here. So I figured really get the laser sighted in I. Put this red dot on here and I took three shots using the laser to hit the corner and one hit right here, so even with the laser, it’s a very, very accurate sight, excellent sight for the money.

Okay! Next, why don’t we take a close-up of this red dot sight? Okay, on this side, we have your wheel for your the color of your reticle and power, and your battery sits underneath this cover right here. That’s where your coin batter is look at the front of the site and laser and here’s your laser you can see on top here is your elevation adjustment and your windage adjustment and on the side down here is your reticle windage adjustment and your elevation adjustment is right in here.

They you have Allen wrenches for your reticle and you have different size, allen, wrench that comes with it, for your laser sight and back here is where you select arete achill. Okay. Now why don’t we take a look at what the reticle looks like I had a little difficulty with this video camera, but I think I got some pretty decent shots. You’re gonna on the brighter settings, you’ll see a shadow, but when you’re just looking through the site with your eyeball, you don’t see those shadows.

So let’s take a look at that. Okay, I think I have found a way to get a good shot of the reticle on this gun. I know we are it’s the red dot, that is the dot in the circle dot in the crosshairs, there’s no shadow when you’re actually looking through the lens. It’s just this camera and there is the diet in the circle in the crosshairs. This is the demo setting right is setting green on dim green, bright, green cross here green dot in the circle and green dot.

Well, like I, said, I was skeptical of using this just on a pellet rifle for anything, but after sighting in on that squirrel target at 12 yards. This thing could be absolutely devastating on hunting’s worlds and rabbits out of your garden. Because of your wide field of view, you can it’ll be easy to pick them out and, like you saw on the accuracy test, this thing is amazingly.

Accurate. I was really surprised. How well I did, and it was very, very easy to get a head shot or a body shot on the squirrel target and I was just absolutely amazed at the accuracy. I did better with this and I’ve done with a lot of 4 – in three – named power scopes, it’s very accurate, it’s affordably priced and the person sent me a URL to look it up on Amazon, that’s where they come, I checked it out and it was $35 99 for some reason.

From Amazon and I’ve already opened up and looked at, it turned on it’s made by OTW and I really liked what I saw so I’m gonna show you what you can expect to get get a nice package, its instructions, microfiber cloth, like I, said: I took another bag, it looked at it already itself allen wrench, and this is for attaching it to your Picatinny rail.

So this mounts to a Picatinny rail and it has the standoff. So you can Co witness your iron sight comes with a dust cover pop that off. You have adjustability here or your elevation adjustability for your windage, the caps. Alright, nice there’s an o-ring on the bottom of every cap, so they’re not gonna, vibrate, loose you’re, not gonna, lose them.

That’s important. Do you ever buy something and there’s not an o-ring, keep it from vibrating off you’re gonna lose your caps, so it’s important yeah, a small screwdriver, to make those adjustments. Um battery is a CR one, six three two battery and what I really like about this red dot? Is you have red and green I mean you always have me to pick and choose? When you buy a red dot, am I gonna get red, am I, gonna get green.

So basically, when you get this one, you don’t have to choose and it doesn’t, but um, that’s actually like one to one. So I’m gonna go ahead and turn this puppy on. So that’s the red dot, see if I can’t see this in the camera very bright and you have multiple settings. So it’s as I’m turning it down then off and then you got green and all the brightness settings I know.

So that’s what it looks like fit and finish is very nice. You can remove. You can see the screws there on the riser. If you like, then you have to buy a different height. Riser put. This is honestly the size that I would use because most guns, if you get to find the mount right down on it- and you put your cheek on the buttressed it’s too low, so I like I, like the riser here overall, it’s great product, definitely worth your purchase and I like it.

How’s it going everybody welcome back, not available on Amazon for around $30, so I have it topped currently on it’s not loaded, but we have topped currently on the PRN 180s upper for Brownells, but I just wanted to give you guys a quick little demo of it and then also give you guys my overall thoughts of it since I’ve had it now the last month or so, but um. Basically, here’s what you get with it.

You’re gonna get a lens cover which I don’t currently have on it, but it covers all things like a bikini cover and then right here get your windage and elevation knobs, and it takes a very small screwdriver for your fingernail and it’s very tactile. It’s a little harder to hear out in the outdoors here, but you know I just want to show you guys so there’s that it’s got five settings right there.

You can get up to five right in the settings for both red and a green dot and it’s a four MOA dot. So let’s take a few shots with it. Just so you guys can see you know the gun in action with this and then I’ll give you guys my overall thoughts on this red dot, especially when you consider the price point and everything so just give me a second be right back so right. There is the it being used in action for you guys, but um I just want to give you guys I’ve shot, probably now about 250 300 rounds with this mounted on this AR here and I did the initial zero at 50 yards and it has stayed zero throughout the entire throughout this month.

Basically, so, overall for the money for 30 dollars, it’s a great choice. My I would say that my favorite feature about it is is that it is a four MOA dot, so with that, it’s going to be a much bigger dot, so faster, faster target acquisition. That sort of thing which is good for these sort of pistol bills that we got going on nowadays. So without further ado. Thank you guys. So much for watching and I’ll see you on the next one.

The 83 tactical Rd 50 red dot, micro, red dot with the 2 MOA reticle, a couple quick features: real quick 11 click, brightness settings up to 50, 000 hours, battery life on the lowest setting waterproof from fog, proof, parallax, free design and a lifetime warranty, which is pretty awesome now. This is comparable to the Bushnell TRS 25, very similar, build quality and lens quality as well. So originally I put this on my a our pistol.

Originally I was gonna, put a Romeo 5 on it, but I decided to try this company out. You can go to on Amazon, look up, 83 tactical or go to 83 tactical comm I’m, not sponsored or paid by them. I just think they have pretty good optics for the money. Now you can buy one of these for around 60 to 70 dollars. You know, which is basically half the price of a Romeo 5 now I’m, not necessarily saying this is as good as a Romeo 5, but it’s pretty good.

I would definitely say it’s either on par or better than the Bushnell TRS 25. I would definitely say that so and if you’re worried about durability, there’s lots of other people on YouTube and other channel websites, torture, testing, the Rd 50 by 83 tactical and one youtuber even shot it with the 12-gauge shotgun the optic itself and used it after he shot it, and it still functioned perfectly so you know if we can take a shotgun blast and it still work.

That’s pretty! That’s pretty durable. In my opinion, like I said it has a lifetime. Warranty transferable lifetime warranty, so you can’t really ask for anything better than that. A lot of these other optics that are way more expensive. Have, you know, limited. You know two three five year warranties, but this is lifetime and it just uses a regular CR. There’s watch type batteries, so this object is very easy to use and very easy to zero and I definitely would recommend it.

It is definitely high-quality and it’s definitely worth the money. So please give this.

Hey guys outdoor enthusiasts 88 here again so today, I’m out here, testing this 83 tactical Rd, 50, red dot, sight I have here on my Ruger 10/22 and so far as handled really well. It has 11 brightness settings right now. It’s on 8, which is about what I’ve been keeping it on. It also has a 2 MOA dot, as well as a 50 000 hour battery life.

Now that compares to the primary arms red dot sight that I have reviewed in the past and have it on my er, but at almost half the price. This is going right now for about 75 bucks on Amazon. It is a clone of the Bushnell TRS 25, but I have tested the TRS 25 in the past, and I didn’t really like it that much that one actually has a 3 MOA dot, as well as only a four thousand or three thousand hour battery life, I believe and it is 60 bucks, but for 15 dollars more.

You can get this and I think this technology has really improved on the red dot sights nowadays, and you really don’t need something super expensive, especially on a Ruger 10/22, so be testing. This out took maybe a dozen or so rounds to actually get sighted in I went ahead and decided on that steel target out there.

That’s silhouette, like I, said it took about a dozen rounds or so, but I got it right where I wanted at about 25 yards and the bugs are out, which is always good, but luckily fall is coming. So hopefully it cools down here in North Carolina a little bit, but really I. Think you know beyond the fact that it was almost sighted in the factory is probably a few inches to the left of 25 yards, maybe like two inches down, so it was close.

It would hit steel at that, but I wanted to make it exact and what you do is you take these caps off and it had little adjustments here and I took my little Leatherman and it just made adjustments to it, and now it got right on target. So, like I said, I talked about some of the specs here. I think it compares to the TRS 25 from the Bushnell, but it is a step above it’s almost in between the primary arms and the Bushnell kind of level right there, sig sauer they make some that are in that level too, near the primary arms level and also anything make a budget option as well.

This actually held up really great so far and I’m actually go ahead and test it on a shotgun later, on just kind of see a lot of people who see my other Red Dot site reviews, or we said, throw it on a shotgun. So we will see how it holds up and then try to put it back on here and see if it’s close to zero I mean might wiggle off a little bit just because you’re taking it off putting back on I did actually kind of preset it in which is good, because in on this, rail here is actually a utg see-through rail for the 10/22, and you can only see about half the site with this rail.

But the good news is that it’s a good option and it really holds tight and a hat. You can put some Loctite on there for screws. It really holds in there nice and tight, and this actually of course, stays nice and tight on there. Just in the last few mags that I’ve done through here, and you can only see what like I said about half the iron site.

But the good news is, you can see it a little bit so I kind of presided in a little bit just kind of get close I didn’t really have to do too much adjustment, even looking through I saw, there was really close already the red dot sight itself. I said at level eight for the brightness setting. You know it’s indoors.

It has kind of like some flurries stars around it a little bit and could be my eyes too, but indoors kind of flair. But I tell you outside here. That is a really nice small crisp dot, no flares at all towards the top left, because the emitter emitter is on the bottom right towards the top left. You get a little bit of glare you’re, not going to really see that through the camera, when you’re looking straight down the site, no problems and I’ve actually been using this target grape format.

The 22 long rifle here by federal, just excited in goof-off today, when I complete some of the steel targets, some little clay pigeons there and so far so good. So let’s go ahead and I’ll show you guys what it looks like when it was right in the box. So let’s take a closer look at what comes in the box when this is brand new.

Before you actually install it here, it is 83 tactical, Rd, 50, red dot. You got two mo a red dot: reticle 11, brightness settings up to 50 000 hour battery life, waterproof and fog. Proof it’s pretty simple box kind of just slide off the top right. Here there you go and inside you have some mounting instructions and spelling the battery instructions see.

We got some kind of customer service notes here there you go some just basic instructions there and you got some padding for those of baggy, and this baggie contains your red, dot, sight, nice and wrapped up in their little silica gel here. She is see that little cover on there. You got to twist knob, really tight battery compartment, no battery in there right now, slight adjustment suppose they can either end of a case or maybe the coin you sometimes the caps have little things on them, but this one does not hex screw to adjust.

Putting this on a rail or on a riser is the battery in its own little packaging. Is your hex these little wipe cloth, keep the lens clean all right! So let’s go and get this on. The rifle take a look at how she does so installing this red dot sight is actually pretty straightforward. All right, you have a low-profile mount right here.

You can also go and get a medium. The high riser, depending on what kind of application you want, and what kind of rifle you’re using now with this I, just want to put it on a Ruger 10/22 with a actual special rail that has a deep cut down the middle, where you can actually use backup iron sights. If you need to it’s not great, but you can’t actually see the sights within a actual red dot on top.

So that’s pretty neat to feature there. I put the rail link down below. It’s actually really cheap, but it actually works really well. There’s no problems. I’ve had with these in the past, so with the rail being picatiny like this you’re gonna actually have to loosen up the screw here and I’ll. Show you guys what you need to do, because the rail system is up.

You can’t just slide it on, like maybe like a weaver style. This actually has to be loosened right here and I’ll show you you actually have to loosen it, and the screw is actually on the right side near the knob here for the brightness settings you want to loosen it enough. With almost has this cover fall off now you can it’s not a problem.

If this does come off, it comes off those two springs and the hole for the screw right there no big deal. You can see the springs right there. Those won’t fly out they’re actually attached to the inside of the red dot, but you want to loosen it just enough Whittle slide onto that rail, not too much not too little just enough.

We can slide now choose where you want to put it. You can place it anywhere, you’d, like typically the further away the better. However, if you want to have a little bit closer to see the dot better, you can actually think might be were like right in the middle somewhere right about here now you just go ahead and take your key and just crank it down the key and the screw that come with this actually seem to be pretty good.

It doesn’t seem the strip very easily, which is good a lot of times these cheaper scopes, actually we’re cheaper red dots, actually go and strip out with the screws pretty easily, which is not good for anybody, but this one seems to work really well, alright, and there you have it fully installed there.

You go alright guys so, as promised slap that red dot on the side of a shotgun. This is a 12-gauge Mossberg. 500 I have a variety of mix-matched birdshot here in a bucket that I had shot with some birdshot take about four or five shots at some cans out there, five cans, five shots. What do you think it is on? You know where to tell that.

Obviously, I can’t use it when it’s on the shotgun but go ahead, see how she holds up alright, let’s take it off and put it back on the Ruger 10/22 and see if it’s still on I’m definitely on see. It’s still cited in made a little mark on the 1022 here, just kind of know exactly what slot I had on here.

It’s not a numbered rail, so the screw actually seems to be holding up pretty well, just it’s a little heck. So it’s not a quick-detach. You can put this on a mount and then get the quick attach, but it seems to be a pretty good quality screw itself, which could always be a concern with these budget type, red dots and budget materials, but it seems with the wrench here to get on there just fine, no stripping or anything like that.

Alright, so I put some fresh paint on the target down there. Let’s kind of aim for the center and see if it’s still pretty pretty on or at least close looks pretty good. Let’s take a look, oh yeah. Look at that all 10 rounds right there, center mass, no change so I have really tested out the water proof to this at all.

I have no doubt that it is waterproof. Obviously, the shock resistant with the shotgun going off. You could probably drop this, throw it around and have no problems with it whatsoever. A lot of these sites, including regular scopes, are waterproof just because the way they’re designed with gases and sealed up inside there so I really don’t think you know a problem with that.

All right guys. So wrapping this up I think this little red dot sight has proved it’s worth about 300 rounds through it. So far, it survived a few rounds on the shotgun. Obviously they survived a bunch of rounds on the 22 here and I. Think you know, I might leave it on the proper setting here, either 8 or 9 50 000 hour battery life.

It’s a long time just to leave it on, but it’s not really a home defense rifle, so you could probably just kind of crank it off and speaking of the crank, it is a very positive crank. The only thing I would say is because it is a crank like the Bushnell TRS. It’s not gonna, be as nice as this primary arms md-80s right here with these push buttons.

This is held up really well as well. You can see I kind of beat it up a little bit in last few years or so of testing it last couple years at least and I do leave this one on most of the time I haven’t had any issues with it seems to work really. Well, it’s a simple on/off kind of sit mechanism. Here you can turn on by hitting when the buttons turn off by hitting both the same time, savings at caps, the same I believe the same battery as well, and then also it has a little bit different design.

This one actually seems if you want to compare size, you can see this one seems a little bigger, maybe a little beefier, which is probably where the price comes in there -, especially with the touch technology here on the buttons versus just a regular knob that could kind of have problems, especially if any dirt or grit get in there.

This now might kind of stop start or not working very well. So this is great for, like a 22 that you’re not gonna, really need you know running through sand or something like that, whereas the primary arms of MDS something a little more a little more money that actually still is a good contender for, like home defense or and if you use it every single day on something like an AR.

This is rated this uh this one right here. The our d50 is rated for shotgun rifle all that. So, if you want to put it on anything, you want go ahead. I think it’s a great option. I come to these little lens cover here, which is almost the same as that lens cover, in fact that this one came with. So you can see it fits it.

Just fine such this cheap little lens cover or something. If you want to keep it stored away, nice and safe, you know the lenses, they don’t get scratched up or something in your gun case or something like that, but yeah I think it’s worked really well and I definitely recommend it. All right everybody, so that was the 83 tactical Rd, 50 micro, red dot. Now I’ve had this for a couple of months and to be honest with you, I’ve had some problems: I’ve had some problems, getting red dots to last a good long time on my AAA rifles on the ARS. It doesn’t seem to affect them as much, but on my a case, I seem to have some issues. Now these go for right around 75 bucks there you can find them on Amazon and various websites, but they go for right around 75 bucks, so they’re the the budget option for red dots and so I thought I wanted to try it.

The original red dot I had on here I had on here for two years, they’re like 98 dollars and the front lens popped out of it not too long ago. The second red dot I had on here was a very popular one that- and it looks very similar to this and within two hundred rounds, the rear lens popped out of this. This has been through roughly thousand rounds at this point and I’ve been keeping it in my truck because it’s a hundred degrees out here in the summer right now, you know out here in the desert, which makes it brutally hot in the cab of the truck and I wanted to see.

If I could get the circuitry to melt and wanted to see if I could get lenses to pop out, because glues got softer. So things like that and so far I’ve had a lot of good luck with this red dot. So give you some quick specifications on this. It is made of t6 aluminum nitrogen-filled. They scratch proof lenses or scratch resistant lenses. Here’s your windage and vation! This is your brightness control, a zero to 11 and gaskets. You know you know, glues and gaskets to make sure that it’s it’s nice and watertight.

It’s got a 50 000 hour battery life on its lowest setting that I don’t know that that’s what they they advertise, I’ve, not tested that. Yet it’s three point: six ounces about two and a half inches long. It has a two MOA red dot and you can get it in three risers. This is a zero riser which is necessary for a code witness for an ak-47 if you’re using the railed gas tube. There is a point: eight three riser and a one inch riser as well. Okay, so one of the issues I’ve had in the past with other red dots is dead spots in the brightness selector, so like ten or you know, between ten and eleven, it won’t work or I have to go just off of eleven and it’ll work and or just off a ten it’ll work, and things like that.

One of the things that I’ve noticed about this is that this is much much harder to turn. Then other red dots I’ve had in the past there’s. It’s definitely has a lot of. You need to use a lot of force to turn it now. Some people may not like that, for those people, I say, eat a steak, but I think that’s going to lend to this not jiggling around during the recoil and and and keeping that dead spot from happening. I don’t know, but so far that’s been the case. I haven’t had any dead spots yet and I did contact 83 before I ordered this to make sure because I told him I have I’ve had a problem and a lot of us do to recoil and they said they’ve tested these up to 50 caliber as far as like a shock test, or you know, recoil test to make sure it stayed zero and didn’t fall apart and things like that so again so far that has has lended itself to be true.

So, let’s see if I can get the red dot on and aimed into the camera. Well enough for you to be able to see it, okay, so it doesn’t appear that the camera is gonna pick up the dot. You know that I just have it at a bad angle, but you can see how the 1/3 lower code witness would be what your sight picture would basically look like and that has worked out really well as well, so they do claim that a shockproof or shock-resistant I have dropped it a couple times by complete accident. It’s just falling off.

You know the edge of the table, leaning against table and stuff like that and, as you can see out here, it’s pretty rocky ground. So it’s hit some pretty nasty things and it’s been plenty dirty. So let’s shoot it a little bit more and basically, for the sake of the video and we’ll wrap this up, all right, we’re a shoot. What’s left of this Mac from the beginning of the video and switch mags, do some other things with it and that’s on its held 0 throughout this entire time, all right, let’s turn the red dot off and utilize that 1/3 lower CONUS works out.

Ugd, coming at you with the at3 tactical rd50, been a red dot, the guys this is your range review, these fellas out of minnesota. They got something cooking with this thing. This is an awesome, little red dot, getting the beretta cx4 storm in the nine millimeter ready for a home defense gun or as we call it, the ugd hdg.

Let me give you a quick rundown of this at3 tactical 3 6 ounces. Four ounces with the lens covers on two and a half inches long height on it two and a quarter width one and a quarter. Inches long uses the cr20 32 battery 50 000 hours of battery life on its lowest setting approximately 5 000 hours with typical use, two moa red dot.

Guys I’m going to come back to that, because that is a big deal on this red dot: parallax, free, waterproof fog, proof, nitrogen filled at this price point 704 tactical, on the youtube he proved the at3 is built tough with his scientific testing. This thing has a forever warranty retails for 74 99 with free shipping, and I think this might be the best buy out there.

This thing is priced as a budget red dot, and it is much much better. I get it out of the box. I turn it on. I notice right off the bat that red dot is crazy, sharp guys I mean it is really sharp compared to other budget red dots guys. This is the best I’ve seen and we’ve got a penny pro right now that went side by side guys, it’s not even close.

This at3 tactical is super sharp super crisp super tight, but yeah there’s more guys. We have an awesome, holosun, hs515 solar, and this thing sells for somewhere around 250. I put these two side by side, guys I’m not seeing any difference and you’re talking a third of the price. Now at the range, this thing locked in easy peasy on the beretta rail within just a couple of shots.

Let me just pull that up for you guys yeah get started right here. A couple clicks bam. I am nailing with this thing and we got to work and we were fast on it yeah this. This is a fast, fast sight held zero and I think that that tightness on it. I think that makes it faster, because once we ran the penny on it, I slowed down on this gun yeah, because that that star burst it was really tough to find my target at3 tactile, no problem whatsoever.

The adjustments on it super positive one. Mla click feels great glass super clear, gosh at3 has other red dot options, guys we will be buying them all I mean they make a hell of a sight, the at3 tactical rd50. I think you move into a mid-range red dot the quality I’ve seen when I looked at the romeo 5 from six hour, the holosun.

Hey guys I’m back here again we’ll be purchased a a new red dot on eBay and also hi-rise are here for the ar-15 here the brand is called 83 as well. It looks like it’s your 2 ml, a red dot with the u TG high riser on here, rs10 s3 and I got to sing for about things like extending bucks on eBay and got the high rise for about 8 bucks right here for that. So this is a 1 inch high riser and it’s basically the same thing as I have on my um m16a4 clone here.

I’m gonna try to put it on the m16 a5 right here far for reference points to this. That’s why I got that, because I really would like to have a red dot as oppose iron. So it’s almost like stuff, odd, there’s something because you can, you know, get a better. You know picture sight picture out there for that, and this is what it looks like. It looks: good, a red dots, nice and crisp downside there.

I don’t have any kind of problems with that. So hopefully, if everything goes according to plan put on a gun, I will try that up here and see how it functions on the upper receiver here for that I’m gonna just take off the carrying handle right here and it slap on the red dot and we’ll go from there and see how it forms. If it doesn’t function, I’ll make a video saying it wasn’t any good if it does function.
