Hey guys Devin here with back country exposure again. That tagline you gotta love. We are talking about the light to life micro USB quad from gold zero today here in my hands so guys. This is a product I am very excited to share with. You today you a brief introduction in my flip 20 video but what’s exciting about. These lights don’t come out until August 2016. They are not released. And I’m very fortunate to have the ability to get my hands on. It my friends at gold zero were able to share. These with me what’s cool about. They do have the light of life from micro USB already available but. It is a single light. This is a quad so you’ve got four lights. It stretches across a much wider space. It gives you a lot of cool versatility of different lighting options. And such, so we’re gonna we’re gonna string this across in. These trees I’m going to show. It works and we’re gonna go from there. Now the light of life micro USB quad setup strung up in a tree just to simulate but. This is being powered by my flip 20. It plugs in by USB and I’ve got. This strung out it was a little darker but I’ve got. This strung out about probably 10 feet. And the cool thing about. These lights is you’ve got different functionality based off of what type of lighting you want.

You can have it nice and bright it’s on the brightest setting right. And I’ve got it in Lantern mode right. You can push up these silicon globes. You can create the spotlight so. If my memory recalls. These lights put off about a hundred lumens. Each of light which is really cool for the sides. They are super bright LED. And it’s awesome that they’re they’re. All strung together in. One complete unit I really like. And the other thing that’s nice about. Idon’t want that much light for. That entire span of lights. Ican individually turn. These off so that one’s off. Icould turn off one here as well. And then I only have two lights on. And I’ve reduced the amount of light. Ican have all of them on. Ican bunch them together. Ican have them closer really there’s just a lot of versatility. Ilike about that is better for me in my opinion then the single.

Because you’re getting four lights automatically which. You might use more so in like a car camping scenario. Something like that but. You don’t have to chain the lights together like. You do with the single. That is currently available so like. These lights are not. Yet available they will be in August. Idon’t know a price point. This is a really cool offering something I’m excited to use as I’m out car camping with my family. This summer I’ll probably string this up in the trees. Or across my tent something to maybe my kitchen. Ido my cooking for car camping just things like. That I’m really excited about so that’s about. It guys again the light of life micro USB quad light system. Ireally have to say about. It so thanks for watching guys please subscribe to the channel for more videos I’ll keep them coming and leave your comments things.

You like things you probably don’t like. Because I’m not amazing at. This but I’m had a good time. And we’ll catch you later.

If you’re like you like to get the. Most out of your electronic accessories. When you’re throwing them in your pack after. All an ounce is an ounce right the cold zero light house mini rechargeable Lantern is the light source. Even the most ultralight of backpackers should consider. It combines a bright 360 degree light. And the ability to charge your other gadgets. You bring along with its included USB port the main feature of the lighthouse mini is the dual LED light sectioning off the light pattern means. You can select exactly. How much light you need. How long the charge will last try selecting low-power using the easy-to-use dial. And only activating one LED to illuminate a tent on a dark night enough to find your gear. Or twist the dial as far as. You can to the left to engage maximum brightness the battery will drain faster. This was but a full 210 lumens is enough to illuminate your entire campsite the lanterns wire legs feel strong.

And the rubber coating on the feet grabs well onto wet rocks fold them up to access the removable lithium ion battery. This battery is replaceable which is great but the idea here is. That bringing another battery along means. That you’ll never be without the power. You need the feature. That really makes the lighthouse mini indispensable for me is the included front USB port to charge other devices. Each battery holds 3000 milliamp hours which means. It will give you a full charge to. All but the largest of cell phone charging the battery is simple by using the included attached USB cable which can be tethered to a goal zero solar panel which is sold separately to complete the setup with so. Many cool features packed into a compact 8 ounce lanterns. That is bright enough to light an entire campsite. This Lantern is winning over. Even the most space conscious backpackers I’ve brought. It along on all of my adventures. You will — it’s the gold zero lighthouse mini rechargeable lantern hey thanks for watching if.

You have any further questions about the gear. Ijust demonstrated. You can go on to a website at. That country edge comm there. You can talk to one of our gear specialists. And we’ll go through. Anything we may not have shared. You like what we do on YouTube then please subscribe thanks for watching.

Hey guys what’s happening today. Ihave the lighthouse mini from Gold’s here with. That I’m gonna test out so before. It on I’m just gonna show. What this thing consists of it’s got a hook on the top like. You can hang it like a lantern it’s also got a little loop right here so. You can put a lanyard through hang. You can fold up the legs like. And usually just as a table Lantern. And then finally at the bottom right here. It has a little magnet so. You can stick something or. You can use this little guy. It on a tripod so it does have quite a. Few ways you can set. This thing up so let. You the lantern in itself first the way. You charge this guy is. You got a USB cable right here. That folds around and that’s the only way. You can charge this thing I know it’s a goal of zero but there is no solar panel on there so you’re gonna need an outside electrical source but. You can plug this into a wall outlet. You have an adapter. You can hook it up to your computer. Or not to charge it but that’s. How that’s done you may also notice. This guy again that right here there’s a little USB plug. You can actually use. This guy as a power source so let. Ibrought out my uh phone I’m gonna plug in. Now like you can see the blue lights light up. That shows how much battery. You got let left which is pretty cool. And then right here. You can see that my phone is actually charging now. And it’s charging off. This so that’s a pretty neat little feature so as long as.

This charge you’re always gonna have battery power on your phone alright so moving on with the light itself. This knob turns in two different ways okay. And the difference is. You turn this way you’re gonna get the lantern effect out of. This which means that the whole thing is gonna light up which is gonna be a great fluid table setting or tent. Or whatnot but you can also use. You just turn on one side like. This a little bit hard to see in daylight but only. One side is lit and like. You can use it a little bit. More as a flashlight. Because it’s really annoying when. You try to use a lantern in the flashlight as a flashlight. Because you’re getting. That light right back in your face so a really cool feature right here the way. You adjust the brightness is simply just by turning this button right here it’s pretty self-explanatory. And a little bit later tonight. Iam going to apply. This in the dock at the bottom right here. It tells how much run time. You have on and on the flashlight setting if.

You have it on low. You can get plus 500 hours out of. This guy you have it on the highest setting you can get about seven hours. You decide to use the lantern instead you’re gonna have a little bit less have a run time obviously. Because you’re using the whole thing but. You keep it on low you’re gonna have about 400 hours. You keep it on the very highest setting you’re gonna have four hours so that’s kind of what you’re dealing with let. Me go ahead and turn. This guy on more time just like. What I’m gonna do now is I’m gonna wait for it to get dark. And then I’m gonna try. It out here, so I’m in West Virginia which may. Or may not be the darkest place on the planet.

When you’re really out in the middle of nowhere which fortunately is. Where I’m I am it’s amazing so let. Me wait for and I’ll see. You in a couple hours. All right guys so it finally got dark in West Virginia. You can tell it is really dark up here so let. Me step back a couple of feet. And I’m gonna turn this Lantern on. You can see what you think. All right so there you have. It rights this Lantern is on its highest setting on the Lantern mode. And it’s doing a really good job of lighting this place up it’s kind of hard for you guys to see but to the left. Ican see my little cabin up here. Anything else that’s around let. Me go ahead and switch. It on a flashlight function so it’s gonna come off. And here’s the flashlight function. You can tell that it’s only. One side that is lit up there. You can kind of turn. It around so really cool function right here let. Me go ahead this on dim so.

You can kind of tell the difference so dupes there. This is the demo setting on the flashlight in. This there we go like. That’s the demo setting on the lantern. Once again here is the full setting on the lantern so pretty cool. This Lantern seems to be working really well. And so there you have. It guys the mini light house from gold zero. You liked this video go ahead. And click like you want to see. More like it go ahead. That subscribe button. And I’ll see you next time hey.

Hey guys this is McDouble today. Igot a quick overview review of the gold 0 lighthouse mini so it’s not a lot to say about. Ido really like I wanted. This Lantern for camping but. Ididn’t want something too big. Iwant to be able to throw. This in a backpack too so there’s a couple of cool features for one it’s got. These legs so it can stand up but then as well. You can hang this so I’ve used. This camping before. Ilike to hang it on my tent. And it’s light enough. That it’ll hold it is rechargeable so pull. This out plug this into. Any USB port you can recharge. When you’re done just wind. It back up and the bottom is also magnetic. Idon’t know this stuck to. It so that’ll help it holds onto stuff then. We got half-light or full light. This will actually show the charge. You turn it on so that’s as low as it’ll go I’ll show. You in the Turk men and then. You want both sides. This thing gets really bright so. Now let’s take a look at. It in here now with. This low setting when I’m in my tent. Iactually like to put. It on just the lowest setting possible. Because it’s actually bright enough. That will light up your tent so. You can see what you’re doing but uh it’ll last like 400. Some hours I’ll check those numbers later. You turn it up a lot. What I like to do is shine. And then you don’t get. It blind your eyes. This is on all the way. It gets really bright so anyways. Ireally like it the battery life is pretty good.

You can charge a camera with. Or phone whatever you want to charge with. It from Amazon for about $70. Ibelieve provide a link down below. You guys are interested in buying it. If you’re looking for a small mini lantern for a camping or. Even backpacking I think. This is a really great option thanks for watching.

hey guys Anthony here at Sunday August 27th 2017. And today’s video is going to highlight the goal zero USB lantern. And flashlight the name of. This Lantern slash flashlight is called the lighthouse micro flash I’ve been using it for just a couple days. And for under $25 I could tell. This is definitely a well-built light it’s gonna work in an EDC kit it’s gonna work in a bug out bag. It could even work in your pocket. And carry it around with. You wanted to have light that’s rechargeable via. Any USB port and also through solar a solar panel so let’s go over. Some specs of this I’ll show. Some close-ups and will show. It works and that’ll be our video for today but. Iwanted to highlight. Ithink it’s a very good investment for people. Ijust bought two. Isent them as gifts to. Some people some other Peppers. Ithink they’ll be happy with. And it’s one of those things. That in light of hurricane Harvey had. That hit through Texas.

And is still wreaking havoc there people are going to be out of power scrambling for batteries. And like something like. This can be a real plus a real lifesaver in. That situation of life-saving light to see your way around without having to rely on a battery okay we’ll be right back so here are. Some packaging it comes with again it’s a USB lantern. And flashlight so it functions. Both as a lantern like a hanging Lantern. You could put in a tent. It also functions as a flashlight as a flashlight you’re going to get 120 lumens as a lantern you’re going to get 150 lumens. This one last night and the van. We had the van out here last night. We were just hanging out. Ihad the lantern in low mode. It was plenty of light.

Iactually had a dim. It inside the van it’s plenty of light on high. It works really well just on low. And then dimmed all the way down. And I’ll show that works in a minute so again it’s called the micro flash that’s because. It has a micro USB or a USB port again it’s USB rechargeable 170 hours run time guys on the lowest setting which is still a lot of light a hundred. And seventy hours keep. That in mind it is weatherproofed IPS excuse. Me IP x6 so again it’s not waterproof but. It is weatherproofed again it’s goal zero. Another great product from them. And there it is it’s dimmable as. Isaid before, so I’m a highest setting you just simply hold down the button. And then it dims down for you. And different increments. You just take your hand off the button. And the dim or the dimmer will stay. You lift your hand off same for the flashlights as well. And again it’s USB rechargeable. And there’s the USB port which I’ll show. You again you could charge.

It through a solar panel like a nomad 7 watt. And three and a half hours in full Sun. Or in a USB port plugged in for three. And a half hours and get your charge back up to the top-level so let’s take a closer look at. This flashlight and lantern. All right the top of the light. Where the flashlight is here. This is a little fold down handle here. You could hang it with a small carabiner from your tent. Wherever it hang in the van last night. This is your on/off button. And the switch you depress to activate. And to dim it there’s your battery indicator lights that’ll light up blue. That you’ll see here is the lantern portion on the bottom here. These are LEDs inside there. And again when it’s on high power. All the LEDs are on. When it’s on low-power half of the amount of LEDs is on its got like a mirrored finish on. It so it’s kind of hard to see.

It here but again it’s the gold zero flash here is the USB. That sits flush at the bottom so. You can stand you can pull the USB at an angle like. This depending on how you’re going to plug. And again it will stand up on its own like. That I’m so you can shine light up. You could use the lantern portion they’re very well-made. Even dropped it yesterday on the pavement here by mistake. And no marks on nothing like. That still holding up the only thing with. This the buttons alone. Iwouldn’t say difficult. You got to physically get your. You know your the tip of your finger. And your nail kind of on. It to press it down I’ll activate. And there you go you’ve got the flashlight mode which. Iwon’t point but you have a hundred. And twenty lumen flashlights which is plenty of power. And then you can dim. It by holding down the button. And the light will dim to the lowest setting there’s your battery indicator lights right there it’s on full charge right. And then a second depression will activate the lantern portion which is.

Now on high which can be dimmed. And then it again the lantern low goes on which as. Isaid before it’s half the light output of the full charge of the full light. Ihold the button down again it’s going to go into dim. And down to the lowest setting right there. And there you have. And then again the cycle through off so. You got to cycle through the charges flashlight lantern hi lantern low. And then whatever mode you’re in. You will just hold the button down to dim. And then off it’s going to be pretty difficult. You have this in your pocket. Or in your pack to accidentally depressed out. You got a that’s one of the things goal 0 might have had in mind by making this switch.

You got to really you know depress. It to turn it on so it’s not going to turn on accidentally. And burn out your light that’s in your kit again. You can use a small carabiner on the end here. You could tie whatever. You have to do it in your hammock in your tent throw a plenty of light in low mode in a two person tent no problem inside the van I’ll put. It on here in just a moment. And we’ll look through it’s not fully dark. You could see some of the light. These throws off alright guys. It hang in the back of the van here right here. And it’s next to my goal zero original light of life lamp here. Ihave hanging in the van. This is the lantern. Ijust have it hanging on the pole here on.

One of these night eyes bendable holders here I’ll turn on. It turns on the light that’s flashlight mode. Another click there’s Lantern mode okay plenty of light as. You can see this is low mode flash off flashlight lantern knife. Now I’ll dim it down hold. And there’s the lowest dim mode there you’re just waking up. You know looking for something at night. You can keep it in the dim mode. And not blind your eyes out but. This light guys. Ithink is a great investment for twenty-five dollars. You guys are gonna like. Ithink goal zero basically hit. It out of the park with. This light I think it’s gonna work out great. And again I could charge. This off in my solar panel my portable solar panel like the so ku panel here I’ll show. You I’ll set that up in a minute. And I’ll show that would work with the solar panel. Though it’s getting dark out. All right guys it is 7:30 8 pm here at night.

Ihave the soku 20 watt panels here on my van just out here. Whatever daylight is left. And in the pocket of the soku here as. You can see there’s two I’ll pull the leg off there’s two USB ports in. This pocket you guys have seen. This in my bug-out bag review. This is the solar panel. Icarry in my bug-out bag. Ihave in the van with. Me as well again I did a review on. This panel what you would do is. You would just pop out your USB try to do. This on the camera here so. You can see hard to do. It in film at the same time of course. Ihave to simply plug in your USB okay. Once it’s plugged into the panel again. Ihad full sunlight. You would see the front battery indicator lights go on indicating. It was receiving a charge obviously there’s no Sun right.

Now so it’s not able to charge but that’s. You would do it off a solar panel. And again you can put. This right into your computer. Icould put this right into the goal zero Yeti 400 which I’ll do next to show. That works all right guys. Igot the Yeti 400 on as. You can see it’s almost out of charge which. Ishouldn’t let it go down. That low but I did, so I’ll plug the light in there. And again you can see it’s getting a charge off the Yeti right away. It shows what it’s drawing and there. You go that’s you charge. It off the USB and there’s your light will blink until it’s fully charged it’ll come on fully an old show full charge so guys there.

You have it the gold zero lighthouse micro under $25 well worth. It gets yourself warned be ready for emergencies. Something like and a kit. Each member of the family is gonna guarantee. You live in an emergency. And easy to recharge especially off the solar. And the powers down. All off your batteries like your goal zero Yeti batteries. That could be recharged again. And again oh of solar. Icould charge it off my van off my hundred watt panel on the roof hook to my Yeti. And just have a renewable source of light so that’s my video today guys stay ready be prepared especially in light of what’s going on in Texas right. Now with hurricane Harvey. All the people that are suffering there you’re with. Is definitely in our thoughts. And prayers hopefully we’ll be able to contribute. Something to the efforts there coming up. Iknow my church is probably doing something I definitely want to get involved so thanks for watching guys take care.

And stay ready yes you had to. Me here a couple of things. Iforgot to tell you about the goal zero USB lantern flashlight is. And it’s written really small on the box here so. Ihave to use my little magnifier cell chemistry is lithium-ion. And MC the cell capacity is nine point six two watt hours 37 volts 2600 milliamp hour batteries excuse. Me the light output. Iwent on 150 lumens lantern 120 lumens flashlight USB port input five volts up to. One amp five watt max the weight of the light is. Where is it here is two point four ounces. Or 68 grams and the dimensions are three point six inches by 15 inches. Or 93 millimeters by thirty-seven point seven millimeters IPX six adorability okay so those are. Some technical specs for you guys thanks for joining me sorry.

Imissed that in the other in the video but. One of these little magnifying lanterns battery-operated. And plug up operated by Carson. It on Amazon it was like 25 bucks definitely worth. When you’re looking at stuff like. You got to magnify it a little bit great little item to have thanks for joining me guys sorry about. That missed that take care stay ready.

Hey guys its Triton. Igot a little mini review here for you of. One of the new Christmas gifts. Igot got the black diamond orbit lane turned I’m gonna use. This for backpacking car camping. That kind of thing so. Ithought I’d let you know view the specs here it’s a nice really small compact lantern. This part expands out. And then you can push. This button immediately goes to high power. And then from there. You hold it has an adjustable dimmer which is really handy. It goes low then it comes back up high really bright. And in 2010 according dirty eyesight they’ve updated. It not assures exactly. What they did. Some reflector work with the frosted globe. And then made it a little bit lighter. It here on my scale. And I’ve got it coming in at 45 ounces it’s already eyesight’s as four point eight ounces so not fairly close really lightweight lantern it’s also got. This neat little feature here got. These two hook these bend up. And can be used to be hung in your tent. Anything like that very handy comes in green. This bright colored green. Ikind of like bright colors easy to find in the woods. It also comes in a red color as. We can take a look here comes in like.

This red color and also comes in like a black. Or brown color also already eyesight saying when. It on high power that it’s 45 lumens immediately. And then you can dim. It down as low as 10 lumens. You can see it kind of flicker there. And the camera I don’t know. How well you’re going to see. It runs on four triple-a batteries it’s completely plastic. They call it a double power LED is the bulb type. And dimensions 225 by four inches. And then 225 by five closed so yeah. And fold these down right just for comparison here. Ihave my son’s River Rock lantern. Some comparison one here runs on three double a’s. And nice little lantern. He loves it but it’s a bit on the heavy side 45. One comes in around 8 so. This is significantly lighter. And smaller more compact it’s gonna be easier to carry. This does not have the frosted globe so. You get the kind of. That harsh glare and with.

This without a reflective globe. And with this frosted globe. You get the nice illumination without being too harsh in your eyes. They say it’ll illuminate an area about 13 foot around. And yeah I’ve used you know just in a dark room. And definitely easy to play cards by it’ll be a nice little addition to my kit so. This is a black diamond orbit Lantern. And runs 2995 it does have a couple of bigger cousins it’s got a AED lumen older. You know a little bit a bigger model called the Apollo. One comes in at 50 dollars. And then the Titan was caught on. More of the car camping model of. That was 250 lumens. And then run 7995 alls of them can be found at REI. If you’re interested but. Any questions drop me a line thanks for watching.

Hello youtube this is my cheap $2 kerosene lantern. This is zinc plated galvanized zinc plated. Ifound is that like a Dollar Tree store same as a dollar store a Family Dollar. Several years back it’s been hanging up it’s got a little bit of rust pits in. And hanging around there’s. Few little spots on their showing up but. Idusted it off had. It hang up we’re gonna put. Some fuel in here and fire. It up for the first time we’ve never ever used. It so we’re gonna see. This cheapy Lantern works. These are great cheap ones to put citronella oil in ones. You don’t care about cheap ones. And it’ll help keep the mosquitoes away so there’s. One use form we did get. Some fuel took a picture of. We found some paraffin oil with $6 a quart well. This was nine dollars no with six dollars for half a quart correct myself 16 ounce bottle six bucks okay. This is nine dollars for two quarts half a gallon the gallon was like $24 which is kind of ridiculous huh think about. You double the price. Some extra there but a gallon was like $24 would sit an angle sense to. They charge it up much. More money you could just pop two of these anyway that’s. It the store so we did take a picture.

This brand we have an in. And it’s just clear lamp oil. Idid not read paraffin honor anywhere. Iwatched some YouTube videos I’ve been kind of studying up a. Few people say paraffins a little. More City herbs stink here. Ibought the cheap stuff, so we’re gonna play around the tool. And you’ll probably see my old antique. One fired up here in the video here in a. Few days something so we’re gonna fill. This up we’ll do that off camera we’ll come back we’ll light. It up for the first time so like. Isaid we’ve got some pictures of. What it looks like so stay tuned okay we’re gonna like. This thing up what it looks like so let’s just set about 15 minutes so the wick would suck up the fuel no Bernies too high they’ll just sit.

It could crack the globe. If it’s cold out so don’t get. It up there like or it’s such oh. How good that will show up there. You go never let it before it’s not the biggest brightest. Something to what make video too long had. Something shade the light from the window a little. More there we go we’ll try. Itook a picture so just a rubber gasket down the bottom its kind of cheesy. This seals so I only filled. This up about here not. Even quite up here I did not make sure. It did not get near the bottom so it’s below here about a quarter inch. It is just a little cheap rubber gasket. This stuff does kind of smell stinky so. Idon’t quite really like. This in houseless I had to. Ican already smell. It but it’s better than kerosene first. That’s really gonna make. It stinks so don’t do. You crack your globe. If it’s could never turn. It down to put these out blow them out there. You go little cheap $2 kerosene lantern thanks for watching you.

The guys Anthony here Bibles. And barbells we’re gonna do a video tonight feature in a new LED lantern. Ijust received recently it’s by a company called black diamond. You have probably heard of them they’re very famous company in the camping hiking trekking world backpacking world very good products. You know from head lamps to. This type of land lantern lots of different types of products. This LED lantern is really. Something special I think it’s. That I’ve wanted for a. While to add to my lighting collection. Or lighting preps you will. This Lantern just a couple of facts about. And then we’ll look at a little closer. It delivers any lumens on max power. It has a 10 lumens as its minimum power. You could toggle between those light outputs from 80 to 10. And I’ll show I demonstrate the light is collapsible. It has fold out legs non-glare light it’s got a telescoping globe it’s got a charger port which means. This Lantern although. It takes for double a alkaline batteries Black Diamond sells a charger kit for about 25 dollars which. Idon’t have I will be getting shortly. And there you could recharge. That those batteries. And over again so that option that’s. One of the reasons why I like. It’s got dual reflectors. Both at the top and the bottom. When the globe is extended you’ll see.

That it’s got a battery power indicator. That goes from green to yellow to red meaning you have 20% left less. Than 20% left in your batteries it’s got a dimmer switch which makes. It great for inside your tent. Or times you don’t want to a lot throw off a lot of light it’s got a three-year warranty it’ll last 15 hours on max which is the brightest setting and 60 hours on the minimum power setting which is 10 lumens. You know so each night at your campsite. Or in your tent for two hours on minimum power. You got about a month’s worth of light right there so just a great little item to have the light at high power will throw light in a 10-meter area. And on low power 2 meters closed the entire light is 5 inches by 3 inches.

And open all the way it’s nine. And a half inches tall it’s storm proof which means. It can get wet but do not submerge. It so with that why don’t. We off the bat it comes in. This box this is a shot of the back of the box. Some features of. This light there’s the pull down legs which I’ll show. You again black diamond. Any lumens max power there’s your box the light in the palm of my hand right here. This isn’t it’s closed position give. Some shots at the top. And we’ll look at some of the features. One of the first things you’ll find out. You purchase this LED Lantern is its quality it’s really high quality. This is the area where the batteries go. This just screws off. And then you would put the battery pack then. It comes with I’ve got four door cell pro cell batteries in there.

You had the NRG pack you’d replace. That area very well-made rugged light let’s uh open. And take a look what it looks like fully extended. All right to fully extend. What you’re gonna do is. These legs open up they just fold down there’re three legs again. You have real sturdy rubber here which is non-slip which is great. If you’re putting it on a rock. Or a table in this instance. It on a stainless steel table. Some of my demonstrations on at the top of the globe. Or the top of the light you’ll notice two heavy-duty rings. That fold open so you could hang. This up in your tent. And your car from a branch.

Whatever and then by putting the other. You could put a carabiner through here. And also hanging it so it’s got. That options at the top. And then those fold right back into. That recessed area right there so. They don’t flop open. When it’s tipped upside down okay. What you’ll do is you want to activate the light. You just simply pull the globe up okay. It extends that’s as it’s fully extended position which is nine. And a half inches this is your on/off switch. This yellow button here. This little rubber piece would be for your rechargeable batteries that’s. Where you’ll recharge them from that’s the port which. You would plug into to recharge the battery so great options on. And then your LED or low battery indicators are right here so. Iactivate it should register green.

These batteries were just put in. And there you go it’s on the green. It off okay so now turn. It on again you turn. It on it’s at max power so. It on it’ll be at 80 lumens okay. And there you have. Icould from there shut the globe. You have just the little amount of light. Icould fold the legs up just like so. Icould hang that at high power in my tent. Wherever I am in my camper. You want to get it to lower power. Or to dim you simply hold. This button down and by holding it down continuously it’ll it’ll cycle down to the lowest setting and then a little blink. That means it’s at its lowest setting so let’s let’s do.

Now I’ll depress the button. And hold and you’ll watch. It dims down there it blinked real quick. Now it’s at the lowest setting then it’ll. Another touch of the button shuts. It off turn it back on it’s at its highest setting now. It down to the lowest setting and keep the button depressed. It pops back up to the highest setting so there. You go we’ll do it again lowest. And then right back up the highest. And then it blinks again so. Anything in between there that’s about halfway down. Icould toggle that light down well I’ll try to show. What the lights off so. You can get a better idea. How much light this throws off but um that’s your basic overview of. This product I haven’t taken. It out in the field. Iplan on using this in my tent end. Or camper or sitting outside at a campsite eating dinner at night. Or a dusk would make a great little light to have giving you just enough illumination to eat.

And not throwing are very bright blinding light so let’s shut the lights. How much this light throws off here in the garage alright guys we’re back. Ijust got my little pen light out here just so. Icould see what I’m doing but I’m gonna turn my pen light off. And then activate the light the Black Diamond you’ll see. It on high okay that’s the light I’m in my garage. Icould see perfectly in a pretty good circumference of an area. Now I’ll lower the setting that’s. It on low now from there I’ll shut the globe that’s low setting which gives. Me just enough light. Iwas inside my tent there’s your battery indicator lighting up green. Icould pull the globe back open. That double reflectors going so guys that’s the overview of. This light this Lantern very well-built solid good company. This lights around fifty dollars purchased. It on amazon com I plan on getting the recharger pack which would give. More options so let. What you guys think. You have something like.

This particular light on. Any tracks or for any extended amount of time let. Me know send me your questions. And comments appreciate. Everything and have a great weekend anthony signing off remember stay ready.

Iam holding the Black Diamond Apollo open. All of its features. It puts out a lot of light for its size. And its weight it compressed down right. Now but the stand out feature is. These feet that fold down So. You have got three feet It provides a really stable base for the Apollo And. They are really lightweight really easy to use. And very durable And. You can also extend. It out So you have got just a couple of different really simple settings with. This light we are just going to go through. All the features There is just. One button on this light on off And. This is the button that also dims the light So with. One click of the button. It will turn on You have a nice ambient light It is kind of frosted globe here so. It is not going to blind. You turn it on The brightest output is 80 lumens You can also dim. All the way down to 10 lumens So as an emergency light. You just need that 10 lumens to get. You through it is going to last up to 60 hours which is great for. That emergency use And. You want that bright light. You are sitting around the campsite. It is going to all the way up to 80 lumens. That is for 15 hours So definitely going to last. You for a weekend of camping This takes four double A alkaline batteries.

You can get a Black Diamond energy recharger kit to go with. It That is sold separately But in order to change the batteries the battery housing is right here at the bottom And. You have to do is give it. One little twist you can see the battery housing there. This out you can just see. Ihave got my four alkaline batteries in there But. You take that out you can insert the energy recharger kit. You choose to buy that separately There is a battery power indicator on. This light and so right. We are at a full charge. And new batteries If. Icompress that down the green light comes on there So there is a green a yellow. And a red light to just tell. How much battery life there is left in the light Some last quick features The feet on here are really sturdy.

And stable they are covered in a nice rubber so definitely durable When. Everything is kind of compressed down. They really protect the light So. You do have it inside a pack. You are traveling with. You have protection there are two nice metal hooks at the top so. You can hang this from inside of a tent. You want that light above. You to provide light for a campsite. You are traveling So. That is a really great feature there And. This is a really sturdy really great light for emergency use camping and travel It is the Black Diamond Apollo.

hey there fellow outdoor adventures okay tonight let’s get dark. Iwanna talk to you about a little camping lantern. Ipicked up back at the beginning of the year it’s a Black Diamond mojo Ilike my little camp planner so much. And bought one I’ll put. This in my wife’s emergency bag for winter in her car. This way she gets stuck in. Some bad weather like have a light in the car for the kids they’ll have to run the car battery down no kid likes to be stuck in the dark in a scary situation — I’ve had a really good experience with. It’s got these two little flip up little hook handles see. What I do is I run a line over a tree limb. It can’t slip it on here. Ijust host it up ever. Iwanted isn’t it a little bit of light it’ll go from four lumens up to a hundred lives it’s got long battery life the package claims. That for lumens it’ll run 400 hours. And it’ll still run for 10 hours in a hundred lives so. This will get the kids to a sacred night in the car for sure takes three triple A’s its just a simple one-button push. Now to adjust that guy hung up in a tree nice at night your eyes get adjust it’s. That little bit of life. Even burn this bright. Icut down by half lifts.

It up in the tree maybe just enough light to go to see around camp. This small doesn’t take up a lot of room. And pack comparison we’re little stainless yes. We got here with the batteries in. It is four point four ounces which translates to 124 grams yeah screw top lid three batteries I’ve had those batteries in there since early spring by February. Or May had it out on three. Or four trips never had to take the batteries out before. Me a second get hold of. That first one there’s a little notch to put your finger in. And it’s a little bit small for my fingers to get in there. And get a grip on the battery let’s see.

What she weighs in at. When were empty of course. You can buy lighter batteries in. These inner geysers so empty we’re 31 ounces 89 grams yeah screw top lid to get to the battery case tells. You which way the batteries go inside it’s getting a little dark out here it’s kind of hard for you to see. This guy walk out of here tonight. Ibelieve an abroad there. You go black diamond mojo. They come in several colors I’ll say. They retail right around $20 great little backpacking later Thank You MIT. Iwalk the trail aren’t. You come its getting dark. Ididn’t bring anything to sleep out here tonight that’d be a survival situation let’s go come on you.

Hello you tubers fellow backpackers campers rock climbers outdoor enthusiasts today we’re reviewing the Black Diamond de pollo lantern. It is the compact version. One of their compact versions it’s a 200 lemon maximum output LED lantern here’s the back of the box gives. More information at Tutor lumens. You get roughly 13 hours of battery life. And at 10 lumens which is the minimum. You get about a hundred hours burn time of course. This depends on the batteries. That you’re using obviously the cheaper ones you’re not going to get as much life. It does say it doesn’t mitt up to 16 metres of light. And about two on the minimum light setting it weighs in at about 316 grams with the batteries which. They do not include therefore triple-a batteries. You can buy their battery pack. They have a battery pack in here. You can purchase and install. It has a charger for it let’s see. What else this is the black matte color there. You can kind of see through. This there’s the battery light level indicator so let’s get. One packaged and take a look at ok. We got the lantern out of. This package lets’s take a look at. It so the bottom is your battery cap. You have a little rubber gasket around here. This is supposedly waterproof it’s ipx4 so it’s not waterproof. And water resistant to rain. And snow but it’s not submersible. This is the little battery cradle. That comes with it of course. Ijust have REO VAX in there. And then they also sell a battery pack it’s would actually go across those four tabs there.

And plug in right there. That is for your rechargeable batteries. They sell for their lanterns. And then this is the power cord input. You would plug your charger into to recharge your Lincoln. That back okay so you fold the legs down stands up fairly decent. Any iPad me forward right next to. It rights and it’s about the same height with. This lens cover collapsed. You have your hooks up here. These are hanging hooks. You can use I like to insert. One end around a loop. And then stick one around. Iget a double coverage on. You extend it sorry. Ihit the button once fully extended it’s a little bit taller. Than the iPad Mini maybe about an inch. Or two probably an inch. This is very basic you have your on/off switch there’s no swipe like on. One of the other lanterns that’s out there but it’s just a basic on your brightness light setting and off. It does have the dimmable feature which is featured on.

Most of the other black diamond head lamps. And lanterns nowadays so. You can turn you hold. This button down all the way down to the lowest setting and then. You can obviously stop. Any point in that time frame as. You can see here there’s your green battery indicator which means. You still have a really good battery. It illuminates all the way back up so let’s turn off the lights. What it looks like pretty much see the whole room here so not bad. This isn’t a very big room it’s maybe a 15 by 15. Or 15 by 20 so anyway um. Ithink it’s a great little light. You don’t have to use the leg that’s. Or less so you can get. More height out of you can emit. Or have a longer distance. Or longer reach with. That light so um but. It because of its size the weight it’s a little heavy with the batteries but you’re gonna have batteries.

And a knee light you put on so yeah. Ithink it’s it because of the size it’s about the size of a pop can. And it’s fairly light for what it is. You can also take and hang. It by the hook or by the leg with a hook but yeah. Idon’t know they make good products. Ihope to use this throughout the air. All our exhibitions so anyway give. Me a thumbs up thumbs down subscribe leave a comment I’m fairly new to YouTube so in making these videos so give. Some feedback so I can help improve. Another video I reviewed a headlamp. Igot a couple thumbs down. Because of the volume so hopefully the volume is a little better on.

Iappreciate the feedback. And we’ll get more videos out there. Some other products alright have a good. One enjoy be safe and I’ll see.

Hi guys in the Northeast October is a bad month in terms of weather. And since Hurricane sandy have become. More prepared every year in addition to canned food. And water I also have stocked up on lighting because there’s usually power outages. You don’t really have. Any other source of light so. Idecided to review the Coleman twin LED lantern for you today the lantern measure is about 15 inches tall. And eight inches wide. It weighs a little over three pounds the housing is weather resistant plastic. You can use it outdoors. And for camping it has a simple plastic lantern look which. Ireally like it also has a carrying handle which is convenient. It uses 8d cell batteries which are not included to put the batteries in turn the lantern upside down. And just unscrew the power. You don’t have to use a screwdriver to remove things. And there are the 8d cell batteries the positive. And negative are marked inside so it’s easy to know which way to put the batteries in screw the base on just tighten. That was really simple with the batteries in the unit weighs about 5 pounds the unit has a rotating dial switch.

You can turn it from ultra low light too high it’s extremely smooth. And easy to turn there’s no switch to turn on. And the dial makes the lantern very simple. And easy to use the lantern can run for 299 hours on the low setting and 85 hours on the high setting there are two bright LED bulbs in a texture 2. They provide 390 of light on the high setting and a hundred lumens of light on the low setting the beam distance is 32 feet on high. And 19 feet on low the LEDs do not ever need to be replaced lanterns really safe to use. And it’s cool to the touch. While it’s running if. You ever have to clean the lantern just wipe. It down with a damp cloth. And it’s a mild dish washing liquid it’s pitch dark outside on my patio the lanterns on my patio table.

You can see has lit up the entire patio. This is my garage it’s completely dark there are no lights on at. And the lantern is fully lighting up the room the light is also a bright white not yellow like. Some other lights this is between the low. And high setting and the room is still very bright. This is my basement which is pitch-black. It has completely lit up the room. Ican see everything in the basement. And it’s very bright. That the lantern is extremely bright. And lights of any area. You needed to I do feel safer walking with. When it’s dark outside because of how far. Ican see this Coleman is cleaner. And safer it uses LEDs.

Introducing the bio light based Lantern the world’s first flat-pack lantern. That creates your own personal smart grid completely off-grid utilizing advanced edge light technology the base Lantern maximizes brightness. While minimizing space fitting 500 lumens of light into a compact pack able form. And unlike old single function lanterns as a hub. This can extend lighter with the integration of bio light site lights creating easy overhead lighting to light large spaces. Or create multiple it sites with the use of phones. And other digital tools playing more. More of a role in off-grid life. We need energy to keep them going the base lanterns internal rechargeable battery is paired with two USB ports so. You can power your weekend with up to 50 hours of light. Or for phone charges depending on what you need grab the base Lantern XL. More power to your system. When energy is scarce making it easy to monitor. And adjust your usage is critical, so we’re bringing the controls. And analytics right to your pocket turn on/off. If you’ve got site lights hooked up. You can control those too full color spectrum control allows. You to engage night vision calibrate the warmth of your light. Even have a little fun with your surroundings set sleep timers. Or alarms to wrap up your night. Or start an early day without fumbling in the dark enable proximity activation. And the base Lantern will automatically turn itself on. Or off based on your location so. You can find your way back home safely.

And easily oh and the app itself. It barely uses any battery from your phone thanks to low energy bluetooth settings it’s time to re imagine the way. We look at what a lantern can be. It can fit into everyday life from. Us here at bio light thanks for helping us bring energy everywhere.

Everyone sets here and I’m part of the design team. That worked on the base liner the base line comes packed with a ton of features. That transforms it from a traditional camp light into a total off-grid smart grid today I’m going to walk. You through the mobile app do. We design that allows. You to access this functionality in an easy. And intuitive way quick reminder. This is available as a free download for. Both iOS and Android let’s get started. This is home base where the majority of the action is going to take place after. You successfully connect with your base lantern a little. That later what you’ll see here’s a quick rundown of what you can do. All from this screen turn-based Lantern on. Or off dim your lights control the warmth of your white LEDs access a full spectrum of color LEDs turn on Lantern effects like strobe. That matches to the beat of your music view charging status. If you’re powering other gear see real time battery life which changes dynamically based on your power usage. And verified connection status as well as. Any other settings you may have running in the background. If you’re using site lights with your baseline earn a new icon will appear in the bottom right hand corner by default site lights are linked with the base liner meaning on/off. And dimming applies to your entire setup. You want separate control tap on the link icon to unlink.

These two and then. You can select your lights individually tap the top left corner. And a drop down menu appears taking you to additional features like proximity activation. That turns your lantern on. Or off based on your location sleep timers. And alarms if it’s your first time opening the app you’ll be given a quick overview of the apps features then you’ll be taken to the pairing screen. Where your app will begin searching for nearby base lanterns two important things here number. One make sure your device’s bluetooth is on. When you’re repairing for the very first time make sure your base Lantern is on as well. And the pairing stage will have a chance to name your base Lantern. And then the connecting stage you’ll occasionally see software updates. That ensure your base Lantern always has the latest.

And greatest features that’s. You can power your gear. And light your site. All from the palm of your hand thanks for watching and. You have a great time outside with your base liner

All right what up YouTube guess. What time it is its BioLite party time there. We go so this in the mail a couple days ago I’ve been messing with. It for about a week it’s. Another product I am thoroughly impressed with let. Me go through some of the features so. Iam doing this on my iPad today just for the bigger screen so. You guys can see everything this looks a lot better on a 7 plus 6 plus. Or 6s plus I’ll tell. This is actually moved down. This stuff is actually moved up. This ring right here in the middle is actually centered. We can actually see. This thing has exceeded my expectations wonderfully. And actually it’s kind of annoying me right. Though so I’m going to change. It to the bright white light as. You can see I switched over to the white light it’s estimating I’ve got over a hundred hours of use on the lowest setting that’s incredible. This is replacing a huge light.

Idid an unboxing video on. This but you know what first there’s a hundred block unboxing videos on. Ihated the way mine came out so. Iditched that idea I’ve had time to play with. This for a week and it’s been really cool. Icannot wait to go camping so. Ifigured one thing I couldn’t find on YouTube was an in-depth look at the app. And the device so on the app we’ll start there. All your settings are up there proximity control which actually. Idon’t have enough room to. Even test the proximity control. Itried yesterday I could not move far enough away from. It to actually get it to shut off that’s going to be had to be. Something while I’m camping when. Ihave a lot more space the timers default to the current time don’t know why but.

They do at least I try to set them from my phone. Idon’t know if they’re supposed to do. You go back into them. If they’re on until. You go back into them so. You change them what it’s kind of weird thing and. Icould not get them to work not a big deal. Though I’m not using this for. Isure as heck don’t want to be woken up. While I’m out camping that’s the last thing I want. Iwant to wake up when the Sun wakes. Me up so anyways on your regular white light control. You have all the way over here to a bright white hopefully my camera up their picks. Us up really well all the way back over to. More yellow which I might actually have to put. This down in order for you to see. This is still on the lowest light setting I’m not sure. It actually doesn’t look like my camera wants to pick. That up but it does have a softer yellow tone to. You slide that over. That direction under actually before. This thing all the way up.

You can actually see watch the thing right there in just a second drops. All the way down to 6 hours. And 29 minutes on the highest light setting and. That dropped the 5 hours 8 minutes well. Ican get this to go back around here. And of course now it’s giving me trouble but. This is also using this on my iPad so um no. Idon’t want it in the red. Ihaven’t gotten that far. Yet there we go out. It back down to the lowest light setting and you’ll see. It jumps up drastically on here. This there goes back up over 100. Because the camera is picking up. That weird flickering and shut. That off um oh well actually we’re at. That point we’re just about so it’s got two USB ports. Idid charge my phone from. It but my phone is a battery hog. It ate the battery in. This thing it dropped. It to from 100% to 50%. And almost no time at. Iwas using the phone at the time. And the defense of the lantern the on/off buttons right in the middle on. This side you have.

All of your light controls which. It is pretty well full spectrum there is. That weird issue with. This is going to come out really weird. Iapologize but I’m doing this in the darkest room. Ihave so you guys can just get an idea of what all. This can do and the different colors. Ican scroll through here. All the way to the red there. We go into this little button down here. That looks like the little lantern. It gives all of your effects pulse hmm. It disappeared strobe be aware. You have a seizure I’m very sorry single side LED which can strobe apparently at the same time change. That back there we go single side LED. And what’s weird I noticed about the single side LED is actually. If it’s a little bit low. If it’s not 100% you’ll see. That drop it switches. Though to one side for some reason. It seems like more power to only use. One side it does to use. Both not sure why that is but. Idon’t notice because right. Now it’s on the low setting and it’s over hundred so.

Ican get it up to like there. Ican show you guys. What I’m talking about here there. We go so it says 7829. It probably won’t do. This time because I’m doing. That takes a second but. Idon’t know this time. It actually dropped. One thing I noticed on my phone for some reason. It was changing the other direction. It was going up or going down. One side on both sides on so. Whatever weird quirks with the alright so sorry about. Ihave an issue by phone just overheated cut out anyways back to the thing so that’s a fairly in-depth look at the controls for this. You can cycle through the functions on the device directly. You push it quick enough so anyways there’s. This out of the way. We can go on to hardware so your power buttons right on top right there. This side by light logo.

This side your battery meter which does come up for a. Few seconds you go to use. This side we got the two USB ports. And USB C charging port which for some reasons mine doesn’t like to close I’m not sure why. That is on this side you’ve got your two ports for the extensions for the sight lights the various site lights plug in two different site lights at a time there those can be controlled separately from the app but. Idon’t have I can’t show. That right now eventually. Iwill get at least. One of them so I can plug. It in show you guys. That works and there’re other videos on YouTube about. Ihave pretty decent sized hands so. This is yeah it’s not too bad it’s a lot of lighter. Then my previous lantern for camping which so a couple quick things. Iforget to mention. Idid off for the bigger battery the 12000 mAh battery comes in. Ibelieve it’s 7800 mAh battery. What was the other thing there was. One other thing oh I was hoping this had passed through capability so.

Icould plug and then charge my phone directly from. It does not seem like. It does unfortunately. It was still draining the fat the battery faster. It was charging the battery so anyways. Ijust wanted to put those into the video as well. And yeah this will be inserted somewhere in the middle I’m probably good doing all right, so I’m going to try to in. This video pretty quick here. Because my phone has is having some overheating issues. Ican’t keep recording anyways. That is the bio light base lantern. What it’s replacing that’s why I said. Idon’t mind the weight on. Because for camping. That is a previous light. It was a Coleman LED quad light. Ibelieve was what it was called has the four sections.

That come off and it’s got. Some batteries in it but it’s had. Some issues over the years. And the batteries in. It is almost dead but. It takes 8 D batteries. It takes one of those pull out lights takes 3 triple-a rechargeable batteries I’m sick of buying batteries it’s expensive to run. This thing we go through a full set of batteries every time. We go out camping in. That will probably be given away. Something I’m not sure. Idon’t know if I’m going to sell. If I’m going to give it away but that’s what’s replacing it is way brighter lasts way longer. And it’s definitely going to be well worth. What I paid for in the long run considering over the years. Many D batteries I’ve put into. This thing it’s probably been I’ve probably had. It for maybe ten years. Iput probably a set of batteries in. It a month for the first three. Or four probably three. Or four months it then after.

That’s because it during a summer after. We probably put a set in. It every three or four months. One new set of batteries. And about a year and a half ago are just putting batteries in. Even buying batteries for it so. You can see my goal zero light over there. That I’d have a review. That has yet to be posted on. It’ll be posted before. One anyways thank you guys for watching please like. And subscribe and pass the word around about my channel I’ll do. Another quick update video on. Idid start a Facebook page, so I’ll be posting pictures of. All of the bio light equals zero products. You know just some simple things. What I’m doing with them. Whatever and anyways again thanks for watching please subscribe at.

    All catch y’all next time.

We are taking a look at the Black Diamond Voyager This is a dual-purpose lantern. And flashlight And true to the Black Diamond reputation. You have a really durable really good quality light It would be perfect for camping It is small enough for back packing and climbing and. It would be great for emergency use There are three settings There is the regular lantern setting There is a flashlight setting And there is also the combined lantern. And flashlight Right. It is collapsed So in order to turn the lantern on. You have just got one button It is an on/off button but. This switches through. All the modes So I just want to turn the lantern on. Ihave to press the button. Once And this is a nice frosted globe When. You look at it doesn’t blind. It disperses the light So on maximum power. This is right at about 140 lumens You can dim. This down you have to do to dim. It is hold that button in The second setting is the flashlight setting and the flashlight is on the bottom In order to get too there.

You just have to press the button twice It strobes through. You have got the regular flashlight setting You can also dim the flashlight So. These are LED lights At the highest lumens the flashlight is 50 You can dim. It down to 10 lumens. And same thing all you have to do is hold in the button to dim. It In order to get to. Both the flashlight. And the lantern going at the same time. You just have to hit. That button three times. You can see both the flashlight. And the lantern are on You can also dim. This just by holding the button down And. You are dimming each of the lights. You hold the button down. It is at its lowest setting it will give a little blink If. You want to go back up to the highest setting all. You have to do is hold. It in It will go back up. It will blink again. It is at the highest lumens This has a battery power indicator on. When the battery is getting low. It is going to shine red. We are at full battery so. That battery indicator is at green The voyager takes four double A batteries You can.

Either use alkaline batteries. Or rechargeable And. It is really simple to get to. That battery compartment So. Iam doing here is holding on to the body of the light. And twisting the bottom. Ido want to mention. Whatever setting you had. It on last you turn the light off. And turn it back on again. It is going to go right back to. That setting So let’s say. Ionly want to use this as a flashlight. It on the flashlight setting last And. Ihit the button once the flashlight is going to come on. Then the globe And from there. You can cycle through the different settings Some last quick features: This has really nice metal hooks on the top. You can use these just to hang the light.

You want the ambient light of the lantern. You want that concentrated light with the flashlight Down here at the bottom. You have a nice rubber padding So. You are keeping this at your campsite having it outdoors. It is really durable. And just all the materials put into. This is really durable You can tell there was a lot of thought. And a lot of care put into the making of. This light All in this is a really great camp light camping back packing climbing anything you can throw at. It is the Black Diamond Voyager.

Like to talk a little bit about black diamonds lantern technology. This is the Apollo Lantern. This is our first introduction in the lantern market it’s very handy at a campsite on a picnic table. Or on a longer Trek. You could hang it in your tent. You can place it on your picnic table the Apollo is perfect for back country ski touring going to your it’s a great trekking Lantern perfect for group settings generates a lot of light with great burn time second introduction. We have is the orbit Lantern. This one’s specifically designed actually to hang. Then to rest on the table so. We designed this double hook. You can hook you can just open up the hook clip. It to your tent pole. You want more security. You can open up the second hook. You could clip a beaner into. One also opens and closes like. That so it’s quite compact. When it’s folded up so perfect for any backpacking trekking climbing adventure. Where you’re going into the back country so it’s just like the perfect little love reading light cooking light etc there’s really no reason not to bring this guy along. Another great feature of our lanterns of the Apollo. And orbit specifically is. You can well one has a battery power indicator so. You can see how much battery power. You have left it also has a rechargeable battery.

You can get separately called an NRG. You get the energy system. You get for adapter so. You can use this worldwide. You never have to take the battery out to charge. This is our new Titan base camp lantern for s10 the Titans the perfect base camp Lantern it’s super robust super bright it’ll light up a 45 square foot area. You know it’ll really get the party going.

hey there fellow outdoor adventures okay tonight let’s get dark.

Everyone I’m Rick with the Empire sportsman outdoors. And this is the Black Diamond orbit Lantern. This is 47 ounces so it’s lightweight. And not only is it lightweight it’s collapsible so as. You can see here it takes up less space in your pack. When you want to use. It pulls on the top and. It opens right up and. It exposes the power button. You know one thing I really like about. This collapsible design is. It protects the power button so. While it’s in your pack. You don’t accidentally. You know flip it on. And burn out your batteries before. You get to your campsite on the top you’ve got. These two metal hooks here. And so if you have a loop. That you’ve already tied off in the inside of your tent. You know or for instance like in my tent I’ve got. One that was just sewn in. You don’t have to tie. Anything to this you can slide. These hooks in and it’ll hang just fine on the bottom here. You have rubber feet so. If you have to put. It down on some rocks. Or you know doing some reading at night out on the picnic table. Or really anywhere even on the ground it’s not gonna slide around too much. It has a couple different settings there’s a flashlight on the bottom so.

You can use it in the flashlight setting you also have your lantern setting at its highest. Or at its brightest. It is 40 lumens for the flashlight in 60 lumens for the lantern. You can hold in the switch. And it will dim it down to 10 lumens which is a lowest setting. That it has for both the flashlight. And the lantern well the really nice thing about. This Lantern that I like is. You can activate both the lantern. And the flashlight at the same time. What that does is it eliminates the dark spot underneath the lantern in your tent. Or wherever you’re hanging your Lantern so. If I’m in my tent and. You know I want to go through my bag get. Something out of it before. Igo to bed or whatever reason it’s nice to be able to light up the tent floor. More or less and still have the lantern activated to give. Me that all-around illumination so. This has been an outdoor gear review for the Empire sportsman outdoors.

Interesting thing here made by promised aunt the band it’s option B see. How quick we can set. This is your contraption see. If it’s um got your standard port it’s got the top. Ithink there should be a classic mantel. This is standard that comes off the top work your mantel out believe a small hole on the bottom there on the top big ball hole on the bottom see. He can get it through there just like your standard lantern mantel. Ihate Mantle’s by the way. One of the things I try to do is repair old lanterns. And I’m not very good at. Ialways and handle. You manhandle the silk glass here as. You can see supposed to open. This up to a globe it’s got two probes. That will go up through. And the whole yeah it’s a little better so. You can kinda see it spread out like. That a little bit get your favorite bit lighter let. It light and do its work. You will see it smoke quite a bit as. It burns love to do its thing see. It comes sumed turn.

That mantle into glass. All is right in the world not wanting to burn real well their see. What I can do about. That so we’ll try that yes. Iam NOT the best with Mantle’s get your protective cap back on. This is a cable for holding it maybe I’m a Catholic priest yeah I’m hilarious so. You can get this on here. And a reasonable amount on without killing yourself there. You go don’t open up the fuel it’s got a lighter right there. You are good to go let. That burn opened up the fuel. All the way, so I’m gonna turn the light out. And that’s actually. You turn the heat buddy off that’s actually a lot of light. You can turn it off to. Even brighter it’s about three feet behind. And go run off of these again four to seven dollars depending on where. You are mostly you people have. This refutes so you don’t have candles that’s.

Another option you know again that’s made by Primus I’ve got about four of these like. Isaid it’s an expensive option but. Nothing else it also gives off quite a bit of heat so maybe. This is good for snow backpacking maybe it’s good for a cold damp basement see. You could walk along with. This to handle up it’s got a hook on. This end anyway there.
