Bindings and tr2 bindings so that’s a new feature as well what is the same on. This boot is the low profile Pegasus. Buckles really simple easy cam device to use they don’t pop out when you’re using the boot takes a little bit of getting used to using them because they are so innovative but once you get used to using them they’re pretty easy to use. On a day-to-day basis thermo moldable. Easy liner is the same as well and also the 60-degree cuff rotation so a really huge range of motion in walk mode and. What i love about the less marked eva’s in the original version in this version is you don’t have to unbuckle the boot to get that range of motion i keep the boot totally buckled up i might open this one up just to get the blood flow again but in fully buckled mode you can. Get that sixty degrees which is pretty incredible the sole on the 2.0 is a. Vibrant sole it’s got the harder the. Harder sole in the yellow locations and the softer soul in the black location so that you can grip on a rock better and not wear down the tip and toe what is. New is well in the 2.0 version is a roomier toe box the last sport team has always had a really roomy toe box this time it’s even roomier I’ve had to put an insert in to take up some of that room because it was just so much room for me but nice feature because you can. The ho g pro tour boot it started out as a Frankenstein of the Vulcan boot that. Hold you worked on for a bunch of years and the main feature of this boot is the. Ho g lock system so this one lever on the back here this releases when i pull it up push into walk mode but it also releases the top buckle and the ultra. Lock strap so a really innovative design and the cuff here it’s a sliding tongue and groove spine this really supports the shell directly makes it super stiff 120 flex rating and still gives it a nice progressive flex so starts out. Smooth and you don’t hit that wall at the end of the flex it’s a nice smooth start and smooth finish to the flex which is ideal other innovation which is. Not unique to this boot but the speed knows it’s a minimal toe so there is no toe log its saves on weight and it as well. Sets the pivot point back on the boot so. When you’re walking and it’s a much more fluid stride and it also makes stepping into tech bindings a lot easier so this. Is a three buckle boot through buckles on the front and then you’ve also got the ultra lock power strap as well which is all controlled the top two buckles controlled with this hora lock system, so they undo when i go into walk mode, and they tighten back up with these cables here when i go back in a ski mode the. Boot weighs 2,900 grams are 6.4 pounds and it also comes in a pbx version so. This is the gorilla mode version shall cuff and spoiler the pbx version is a little bit heavier but also not as expensive the flex rating is 120 and I’d.
