Arc’teryx Beta SV Jacket – Women’s

Built for adventurous pursuits where severe weather is imminent, the Arc’teryx Women’s Beta SV Jacket delivers unrelenting protection from the worst conditions imaginable. Think uphill slogs through raging snowstorms, soaking deluges in coastal forests, and battering winds on exposed summits. It’s the most durable jacket in Arc’teryx’s Essentials collection, thanks to its Gore-Tex Pro 3-layer construction and strong face fabric.

Gore-Tex Pro construction acts as impenetrable fortress from driving rains, wind-blasted summits, and heavy snowstorms. This means you’ll stay pleasantly protected from the worst conditions, regardless of whether you’re suffering through a summit quest or pushing through unrelenting rains to the next campsite. Reinforcing the jacket’s most vulnerable points from moisture intrusion, WaterTight zippers along the main closure, exterior pockets, and underarm vents keep the heaviest precipitation from sneaking inside and dampening your body.

Cinching tightly to seal out the elements, the helmet-compatible StormHood features nifty Cohaesive adjusters that tighten with the simple push of a button, and the hood’s laminated brim keeps moisture from dripping inside and obscuring your vision. Taller for additional coverage, the extended collar zips up nicely to keep out the elements, complete with a brushed lining for soft-wearing comfort. Plus, the fully articulated pattern of the jacket’s cut ensures that you can move unrestricted through your most demanding pursuits.

Patagonia Stretch Nano Storm Jacket – Women’s

While sleet, gale force winds, and pretty-darn-cold conditions would give most people a run for their money, the folks over at Patagonia recognize the unpredictable nature of alpine climbing (and consequently its allure), which is they crafted up the Women’s Stretch Nano Storm Jacket. Designed specifically for alpine climbing, the Stretch Nano boasts an amalgam of breathability, stretch, and waterproof protection—which means you’re able to weather the storm, regardless of when and where it happens.

More specifically, the Stretch Nano’s construction starts off with a 2-layer, stretchy, waterproof, and lightweight H2no fabric that fends off precipitation and gusts of wind alike. And to top it all off, the insulation is paired with an incredibly breathable liner that moves excess heat away from your body, without letting the elements in.

Now, the Stretch Nano’s innovative layering system isn’t the only reason why it’s bound to become just about every climber’s BFF. The articulated pattern and seamless shoulder design offer an unimpeded and enhanced range of motion, while the helmet-compatible hood sports an integrated, locking drawcord system for a fully adjustable, fine-tuned fit that’s easy to use with a gloved hand. Not to mention, the underarm ventilation system boasts waterproof, two-way zippers to assure easy, on-the-go body temperature regulation. And of course, the hem is fashioned with the same technology as the hood to keep the elements at bay.

  • Hi I’m maxi novice senior editor at outside magazine now we get a lot of jackets in the santa fe headquarters but this is by far the coolest one we’ve seen a long time this is the patagonia stretch nano storm jacket and to make. This jacket patagonia basically wrapped one of their nano air mid layers of which we’ve covered before and are big fans in really quiet breathable face. Fabric that’s water waterproof breathable so that makes it a really good outer layer for days on the ski. Hill but what’s cool about it is that. The space fabric is super breathable so that makes it a good fat country piece and it’s also really quiet and stretchy. As the name would suggest so it’s really comfortable to wear it’s not like a rain-slicked or a hard shell that is. Really loud there’s a huge range of movement and of course patagonia being. Patagonia they got all the details right with big cuffs and nice cohesion cords. All those cords are nice and tucked away so it’s a really clean jacket so i test. A lot of jackets at outside i tested winter jackets for the winter bios guide and summer jackets for the summer buyer’s guide and this is really the one that I’m most excited to wear this season before it comes out for next fall. And it will go on sale for 4 90.

Everybody shawn so with endearment calm super stoked to tell you about this patagonia stretch nano storm the sauce. Si a 2016 and we are blown away this is. A game-changer so i think this is probably the best insulated waterproof breathable jacket out there one it has. H2 no waterproof breathable membrane and. Some of our key features about this is it stretches really awesome it’s quiet. Because it’s soft fabric and it’s. Waterproof and very breathable now the nano air series is known for. Being the most breathable and slate jackets out there right now featuring the full range insulation so essentially this is a nano air jacket with a. Patagonia h2no waterproof breathable membrane on the outside save a two layer. Waterproof breathable jacket on top of the world’s most breathable insulation so yeah 60 grams insulation you have. Stretch you have waterproof breathable. Fabric and extremely comfortable like. This is really fun to wear if you do get warm you probably will just dump the. Heat with a nice generous pit zips speaking of pockets go to the pulling of. Style pockets up here and two very good. Pockets on the side here and notice they’re a little bit higher than typical straight jacket that way your backpack straps will stay out of the way the pockets you can access them to more. Pockets that i really like the drop pockets a catch-all pockets on the inside they’re very sizable miss stretch you can drop your goggles gloves what. Have you in there and all in all this. This is me a game changer jacket really. Excited with essence how of course will have you full detailed review on to get into actual snow conditions and taurine and skiing and snowboarding stuff but until then this will help you with sizing speaking of sizing this is an extra-large I’m six foot one 200 pounds. Is great fit now this is not a trim deck. This is our regular fit so keep that in mind when buying this for yourself or for others and speaking of buying we’ll have links on aspirin calm on the best. Places and prices to purchases any further questions always drop us a line take care.

Built for high alpine climbs or cold-weather adventures the patagonia men’s stretch nano storm jacket features. A lightweight full range insulation and. A waterproof breathable h2 no shell and. A lot of stretch for freedom of movement in the mountains let’s take a closer. Look at its features this jacket is constructed with a 30 d nylon shell. Material it is 100% nylon stretch nylon. At that and it does have a waterproof breathable barrier it is patagonia’s. H2no technology so it is fully. Waterproof very breathable it’s gonna keep you nice and dry while your outdoors the insulation is patagonia’s. Innovative full range insulation it’s the same insulation found in their revolutionary nano air jackets it’s a. Super stretchy insulation it’s extremely breathable and warm it’s designed so. That you can put it on in the morning and essentially leave it on all day that’s how well that insulation breathes so it’s a really nice blend of materials in the jacket it weighs in. Around 20 and a half ounces so it is fairly lightweight for a waterproof. Insulated she’ll consider that it’ll vary. By size so that weight is gonna vary by size again just something to consider with the piece this jacket is very. Feature-rich it’s got a lot of things going on a lot of things to talk about first thing up at the top of the chest. We’ve got two waterproof zip pockets so. Really easy access pockets at the top are great for storage of smaller items. Whether that needs to be chap sticks or any emergency supplies you can easily store those there and again those are waterproof pockets, so they’re well protected down at the hand level. Sitting a little bit higher, so they are pack compatible you’ve got two zippered hand warmer pockets pretty large pockets. Have a light fleece lining on them so you can easily store some items in those. Pockets as well, and they do have the flap over the top to protect from any moisture so definitely some smart pocket. Designs they’re got full length center. Front zip on the piece so it’s a really easy to use center front zipper and it does have a storm. Flap on the inside of this jacket there. Are two drop-in pockets on either side whether you need extra skins layers for. Your gloves or any other additional items you’ve got drop-in pockets on the jacket just for that and some as we know. Waterproof breathable garments sometimes can’t breathe enough for the energy output so you need some extra of venting the nano storm jacket does have pit zips. So under each arm there are integrated. Pit zips to allow you to open that up dump some of that excess heat in the event that the jacket isn’t quite breathing fast enough for you so a really smart included feature with those. Pit zips this jacket is hooded it does have an. Alpine helmet compatible hood with multiple adjustments so a really sizable. Kind of oversized hood on the piece you’ve got adjustment on the front and the back so right on the front you’ve got kind of draw cords that will allow you to cinch down that hood and you’ve got embedded have mechanisms to loosen. That if you need to that will help you cinch down the whole hood here we do have a shaped brim to add some structure and to deflect some of that moisture and on the back there is another adjustment. Point to pull in the outsides of the hood to give you some extra peripheral vision so a lot of adjustment on that hood it’s a really smart design we do. Have some extra adjustment on the cuffs and hem of the jacket so around the. Wrists there is a hook and loop closure that’s going to allow you to secure that if you have to secure it over gloves or if the gloves are going over the jacket you can easily manipulate that and work. That fabric as needed the hem of the jacket does have a draw cord there are two cords on the outside and those embedded mechanisms so you can easily cinch that down to get a nice snug fit down load to keep any drafts. From coming up underneath the jacket the fit is a pretty regular fit I’m wearing. A medium here and it does fit pretty adequately i don’t have a lot of. Room for layers underneath but as it is an insulated piece it is fairly warm already so just something to consider with the sizing the design of it is really smart you’ve. Got an articulated design a seamless shoulder pattern so the added. Stretch and that seamless design makes it really easy to move around in this jacket i don’t feel restricted at all which is really nice with this piece so. For a really warm waterproof piece for. Those high alpine adventures with a lot. Of innovative technologies and coming in at a very lightweight it’s the patagonia men’s stretch nano storm jacket. You.

All right so recently i got the patagonia men’s stretch fall or storm. Jacket and I’ve been using it for probably about a month my initial for it is that you know what it’s a great jacket it does a great job of keeping warm this is one of my first products. From patagonia and i absolutely love it. They’re very comfortable they do a great job I’d love the color I’ve worn it in. Rain and did a great job repelling the. Water so we’re gonna hopefully i see what it’s like you’re more in the fall as the temperatures change, and we get some more dramatic weather but as a photographer i definitely need a good. Winter jacket to keep me warm and to keep crater so that’s pretty much yeah I’m gonna keep this one very basic but I’ll do a follow-up review in a couple. Months now to let people know how it’s going but so far I’d recommend this jacket.

    Arc’teryx Alpha SV Jacket – Women’s

When Arc’teryx set out to improve upon its already legendary Alpha SV Jacket, the seemingly contradictory concepts of lighter and stronger instantly came to mind, seeing that it’s the go-to choice for 100-day skiers, professional mountain guides, and alpinists scaling the world’s most daunting peaks. The current iteration of the Arc’teryx Women’s Alpha SV Jacket leverages a 100-denier nylon face (what Arc’teryx calls N100p-X) over the previous 80-denier fabric for twice the abrasion-resistance and 50% more strength against tears. It retains the dependable Gore-Tex Pro 3-layer membrane for guaranteed waterproofing and high levels of breathability when you’re making first tracks on waist-deep days or pushing up peaks in the worst conditions imaginable.

Arc’teryx kept the jacket’s weight to a minimum with narrower 8 millimeter Gore seam tape, eliminating zipper garages with the use of WaterTight zippers and RS sliders, as well as custom Cohaesive hem adjusters. This obsessive focus on weight savings makes the Alpha SV a top contender for light-and-fast alpine missions where nasty weather is expected.

Besides saving weight, the Cohaesive hem adjuster offers a snug fit around the hip that’s ideal for pairing with a climbing harness on alpine missions. Zippered underarm vents provide extra breathability without sacrificing protection from oncoming precipitation, while the StormHood accommodates helmets during skiing and alpine climbing. Moreover, there’s a plethora of pockets along the chest and bicep for quickly grabbing and stashing items on the move.

  • Lightweight and rugged jacket for demanding alpine environments
  • 3-layer Gore-Tex Pro guarantees waterproof, breathable protection
  • Durable face fabric reinforces jacket from tears and abrasion
  • Gore seam tape for weight savings and extra breathability
  • Underarm zippers increase active-use ventilation
  • Cohaesive hem adjuster prevents riding up with climbing harness
  • High pockets work with backpack hip belt or harness
  • All external zippers are WaterTight for maximum water-resistance
  • Item #ARC00JP
  • Hi I’m greg grunts key with arc’teryx. Today I’m going to talk about the new alfa sv redesign this is a jacket that’s. Been in our line since 1998 the biggest goals of this piece was improving the. Durability while decreasing the weight and improving some of the user. Ergonomics so starting with the face fabric the goal is to make a more robust face fabric, so we’ve been working with gore for at least a year and a half now testing the face fabric with a lot. Of our athletes a lot of fields testing so it’s what we call a 100px it’s a. A Hundred denier nylon 6-6 yarn previously. We use nadp x which is addenda yarn but the significant improvement is in abrasion resistance so it’s almost twice. As abrasion (resistant) than natt x it’s. Also has a higher tear strength than the previous n 80px starting with. The head we work with cohesive to work. On some custom cohesive parts I’m it’s a really economic really easy to use system instead of tightening simply. Tighten it like you typically do and then to release if you’ve got mittens on your gloves you just press to release it. So starting with the chest pockets for. Reason what we’re calling the rs slider, so we used to have zipper garages, so we. Eliminated the zipper garage it was typically the first wear point to go in a jacket when you have a hard object under a textile we also have a custom. Part that we designed with cohesive so it’s a two-piece design because we. Wanted to aim the excess tail up so when. It’s tucked away you don’t have any excess tail hanging down what you could accidentally clip a carabiner to and you’re climbing so that’s the alpha sv jacket it’s available in fall 16 and it’s going. For 750 euros. You.

Rab Electron Down Jacket – Women’s

The Rab Women’s Electron Down Jacket delivers turbo-charged warmth to keep you going when you’re hiking, climbing, or skiing. Between its lightweight construction and technical features, the Electron ensures that winter doesn’t stand a chance of stopping you from getting after it when temperatures drop.

Pertex Endurance fabric is amazingly durable considering how light it is, and the DWR finish helps it repel light rain and snow. Lightweight and low-profile 800-fill goose down insulation offers surprising warmth, and it has a hydrophobic treatment to prevent it from getting soggy and losing its insulating properties in wet weather. Down also makes the jacket highly compressible so you can comfortably wear it under a technical shell while you ski or embark on alpine expeditions, and the entire jacket packs into its own pocket so you can stash it in your pack when conditions are more forgiving.

The helmet-compatible hood is adjustable so you can get a secure fit whether you’re wearing a helmet or not, and it has a wire brim so it shields your face from the elements without obscuring your field of vision. Elasticated cuffs and an adjustable hem seal out chilly drafts and blowing snow. Zippered pockets secure any essentials you want to keep handy.

  • Pertex Endurance fabric
  • DWR finish
  • Nylon ripstop lining
  • 800-fill hydrophobic European goose down insulation
  • Regular fit
  • Helmet-compatible hood with wire brim
  • Hem drawcord

Features at the bottom it has a draw cord hem and which you can cinch in to keep drafts out and keep your warmth in there are two deep hand warmer pockets that. Are slightly raised so you can wear them with a climbing harness or a rucksack belt and then inside this pocket there’s. A stuff sack so you can keep the jacket in here when you’re not using it in your bag the cuffs have this stretch binding. Which is as well as being really comfortable it’s always sealing the heating and keeping drafts out and on. The top it has a full down hood which is fully adjustable can be cinched in at the back and around the side and has a wide peak to keep out any snow so this. Arc’teryx Beta AR Jacket – Women’s

The ultra-versatile Arc’teryx Women’s Beta AR Jacket is the ultimate outdoor companion, capable of taking on everything from skiing and hiking to alpine expeditions. The streamlined jacket is light and packable making it an easy grab for any adventurous trip. Arc’teryx has a commitment to deliver use specific, function driven products for women and the classic Beta AR showcases this beautifully.

The Beta AR is made with Gore-Tex Pro and sealed with tiny, weight saving Gore-taped seams to shut out rain and snow while still maintaining breathability for high-intensity activities. Laminated zippers are icing on the cake, and in combination with the construction, offer you weather protection from blinding snow, sideways rain storms, and even a toddler throwing apple juice your way. High-wear areas of the jacket, such as the shoulders and forearms, are reinforced with extremely abrasion-resistant N80p-X Gore-Tex Pro for elevated durability without tacking on too much weight.

At under a pound, the Beta AR is light on weight, but it’s also heavy on features that are essential to your active life. Laminated underarm vents open quickly and without hassle, and the underarm gussets with the e3D patterning and articulated elbows give you freedom of movement without any pulling or tugs from the material of the jacket. When zipped fully, the microsuede collar provides draft protection whether the hood is up or down, and the helmet-compatible DropHood provides complete coverage without impacting your peripheral vision. As a bonus, the design of the collar and hood mean you can have the jacket zipped all the way up and still be able to throw the hood on should unexpected conditions hit you in the alpine. If the adventure you have lined up requires a pack or a harness, the hip length secures comfortably underneath and the slightly elevated hand pockets can still be accessed even when you’re all geared up.

  • Function driven jacket to tackle a range of terrain and conditions
  • Gore-Tex Pro shell is durable, waterproof, windproof, and breathable
  • Hybrid mapping places heavier weight fabrics in high-wear areas
  • Fully taped seams and DWR treatment offer maximum weather protection
  • DropHood is helmet compatible, can be pulled on without unzipping
  • WaterTight underarm vents allow for heat dumping on burly ascents
  • Hip length and higher hand pockets are harness or pack compatible
  • e3D patterning and articulated elbows enable free range of motion

Tareq’s doesn’t guarantee the zippers to be waterproof, and they don’t recommend storing items that may be damaged by moisture, but they are extremely water resistant there’s also an internal. Zippered pocket with a laminated zip one. Of my favorite features on this jacket is the collar and the hood the jacket. Has what’s called a drop hood the hood itself is totally helmet compatible and. Has a laminated brim but when you don’t want to wear it lays flat and essentially stays out of the way when you’re not wearing the hood you can still zip the jacket up completely and have a collar that still offers great protection from the wind there’s also a brushed micro suede facing on the collar. To add some comfort waterproof breathable barriers still sometimes have trouble keeping up with how much some of us sweat especially out here on the humid east coast but the bethe ar has. Generously sized pit zips with laminated zippers for easy venting if you begin to. Overheat they can even be left open in a. Light rain and you’ll stay dry some other smart lovely little details that you get with the jacket are these zipper pulls which make the jacket easier to use with gloves you also get a chafe free label on the inside and an. Embroidered logo one of the standout benefits arc’teryx jackets is simply how they fit. There’s a true commitment to building apparel that matches the needs of outdoor athletes while still keeping a. Streamlined and stylish aesthetic they build their gear using economic three-dimensional patterning the beta ar. Has a slightly longer cut to accommodate layers and keep you protected there are die-cut velcro tabs at the wrists to cinch the cuffs if you want to there’s an elastic draw cord hem to cinch down the base of the jacket there are also gussets under the arms to prevent lift when you raise up to swing. Your axe or your pick the fit is generous without giving too much I’m wearing a large and it gives me enough for a decent sized puffy jacket but it’s. Oh yeah no welcome to foreign steel. Today freddy he’s going to talk about. His precious jackets it should be. Precious for the price point well hell yeah the orchid beta a or jacket i have. This for two years. Probably oh yeah actually i have some. Questions about Decker doing some more videos on the collar yeah because it’s a. Colorful yeah olympus blue or. Purple it’s a color yeah so this was. Great yeah. I’m gonna start on top do some specs in. Fact it nice yeah. Voice is measly four hundred and forty. Dollars but the amazon price no is it no. It’s the arctic char first prize i think. I’m a song it was no i could put the first room oh yeah all the chips. Purchase i think amazon had from 592 to 1750 there. You go yeah it’s its very weird anyway we. Found the price $440 somewhere now so. It’s so expensive piece of gear real is. Some physical specs in ways it comes in. Sizes from extra small to extra large. It weighs one pound zero point two. Ounces and it’s made out of gore-tex pro. Who the real name n 80px gore-tex pro 3. L m4 trx gore-tex pro and if anyone is. Really interested in that more disproof one thing they come in a shitload of. Colors they do just not this one in it. Now because these have been in production since 2000 yeah it’s a pretty. Yeah a model and the fact that it’s. Still, around 15 years later use it for. Quality yeah so outside like this you. Have a helmet compatible hood with a. Brim high to bring the brim with a. Tightening cord on the back of your head. So it tightens around your upper scalp. Yeah and stays there it really does. Fastened around your neck head in our. Fasting cord here it’s drives the hood backwards you don’t have it in your eyes. Yeah also extremely handy. You have taken cord around the hood of. Course won’t happen yeah all of these. Are one-handed there is a great feature you could omit space there. Very common style we have some arab. Pockets i call them the underarms all. The air deep it’s super sweet super hit venting it’s very deep. So this for the open up wide this. Cockpit is here pretty far down inside. Almost aligns with the side for good. Now with the chest pocket mmm I’m pretty far on you’re not going to go. Over to the pockets which are pretty. High up they come start here about here. Goes down right above the hip belt actually an entirely new backpack both. Sides they have these over hand. Flaps or some sort keep the rain out. There not waterproof they’re resistant. Zippers very water is just a very watery. Can see it the closest shot with you. They are completely dissolved one of the. Most close super sub c i have cars. Myself only listen does broke yet. Thank you yeah of course. Fighting on the bottom yes the jacket on. The back inside. Both sides. Yeah in your pocket of course one. In the pocket one side i guess this. Isn’t waterproof either look it’s on the inside so just get moist though in the. Orange light box for the cops nothing. Much to say about them they work like hell 3:30 well i mean if this is two. Years on a lot ya know always use them how is open it. Roman wrists so this is a good quality. Belt oh yeah you have to look features. It’s like thing in there on your arms i. Can see that strengthened on spots great. They can wear no so that’s a good thing. Does this for your neck warm yeah so. Because a lot of jackets have this. Material or some materials but aren’t comfortable against your neck will you wear something that’s like a t-shirt and not high thing like it will like each other like me then this stuff to me. Irritate after hours and hours and hours. You can get irritated this is very good at the other. Anything maybe china dude this is. Strengthened yeah maybe covered the. Mostly sad out story. The jacket is support to improve on the water. Yeah in use it is very lightweight. Really lightweight apps and it’s uh it’s. A technical jacket terming worry in this. Talk these so down the street in the. City yeah I’m i always have you seen my. Backpack will announce how i key and if. You pack it together it goes very. Compact and the weight of it is nothing. I actually think it feels lighter than. Or what it says yeah and it’s a great. Addition you just put in your pack hmm. That adapt to bring it along hmm i have. Been using it in all cases a smooth. Downpour always it has always kept me. Dry and it went extremely well. I haven’t owned very many shells. Softshell jackets social jackets but i. Can safely say that this must be better because it keeps the wind out but it. Went your body heat yeah and the fact. That it is author is probably one of the. Top brands the top brands in the world and the. Price point also suggests that it should. But then again as me and frey of talk. You know it’s kind of hard to is it. Worth it is it not but no the conclusion. Is i guess that if you have the money and also if you need it you don’t think. You can get much better no i. Especially like the baseline or it. Doesn’t go too far down on too far off. It never slides up my back when I’m. Bending over to follow in the back yeah. I think it is a bit little bit not much you’ll see some pictures we have to take yeah you’ve worn it in many videos. Anyway and i have trips and all kinds of. Stuff and i have. The very assistant on it is also worth. Noting yeah i want to show this thing darling backpack you know maybe i should. Have thought about the price more than that the stuff but i always roll dough. And saw no but i mean if you look at the. Jacket and it looks not new but it you. Can’t tell that it’s been warned that much for two years no it’s just thirty. Piece of far who is it for everyone. It’s a jacket everyone uses a jacket so. It’s never for ever the logic well i. Would say this is formula for the more. Extreme i say you have to spend some. Time and value a good jacket i think it wouldn’t buy this to walk your car and drive to work every day it wouldn’t make any sense though there are people that do that as well yeah but i would say. This is both to be used. Yeah that’s since it is a soft shell you. Can put layers underneath yeah absolutely makes it good for all year round to be. Honest just put enough there somewhere you can work with that during the winter is no problem no i do and i haven’t died. Yet but he works fine with the yahoo. Power 600 yep very well and that’s a. Pretty big sturdy wool jacket hmm that. Think and you still have good mobility yeah no wind or water can get through it. Works fine yeah it’s for everyone. Should avoid well that depends on your. Economic situation i guess we can say. That it’s an extremely expensive jacket. I bought it on a sale actually i didn’t. Pay foreign $40 for it more like 300 350. Or something i have been looking for our. Software for a while and then an article. Sale well yeah you buy or something yeah. You always do but there are discussions. Between us regarding price and prop. Because them is sitting in now mmm costs. Maybe $100 more only yeah and you get. Pants and a jacket and this is. High-quality this is pretty much. The same as mine my right bus not this. One back the other gonna be in one out no this is high quality stuff really high quality and it’s not the same it’s not a soft shot but so we’re. Gonna if you’re looking for a really good soft shell jacket then yeah you should buy it mmm i mean what the hell you should save up actually and buy it yeah i guess the. Difference is in the details definitely detail stuff so extremely. Well-made yeah don’t have to fear. Your jacket will fall apart any time and. It’ll last you for a long long time yeah so sue divided well i guess so yeah. It’s recommended absolutely recommend it. Sure is or to its beta a or stone its it. They are is all around or something well. Yeah all around the or howard’s means. When you walk around the car so its all-round jacket that’s yeah all. Wrong use it for anything. That is for nothing yep so i guess that’s all the up for you. Your kids better our jacket also comes. To the label sick forgot to mention. Comes in a ladies movie i he wills girls. In their cheaper for some reason. Yeah but that’s top jacket is longer. Isn’t there’s more material didn’t offer. As part of this level yeah they usually. All wrong writing no cover that ass. Comment is also we forgot to mention. That they have reinforced arms and shoulders the jacket but to recap it’s. All in the details with our three so i. Don’t think you can go wrong no with any author its problem to be. Honest i don’t own any arteries and there are reasons for that it’s just but you can’t go wrong yep yeah thank you. For watching, we’ll see you again next time oh. But i make I’m being torn there are more. Do you think now we’re doing the one. Trailer bro be more clipping and beaten. Bad.

  • This is the patagonia women’s nano air light hybrid vest and it’s perfect for. Those highly aerobic activities in chilly temperatures synthetic insulation. Mixed with panels of stretchy breathable. Material make it perfect for those shoulder seasons where your favorite. Base layer underneath of it for winter running or use it as part of a layering. System by putting a shell over top and a base layer underneath it’s so. Comfortable that it’ll become your go-to vest when you anticipate building up a. Sweat in chilly weather up front you. Have a 40 gram synthetic insulation that’s actually sandwiched in between a. Stretchy nylon rip stop shell on the. Outside and then the inside liner is actually a plain weave liner this. Material is constructed in such a way that when it becomes wet with sweat it. Doesn’t stick to the material of your shirt like some other common materials. In this category and then the shell material on the outside will actually. Shed a bit of moisture with a dwr coating when it does become wet this. Mixture of materials actually dries super fast to keep you warm and dry when. Your outdoors all day long now on the. Back and on the sides here you have a. Really airy wicking bubble knit material. This helps you manage all of that suit. On your back so whether you’re on a winter run or hiking with a backpack this is really nice to have all of that. Breeze also on the sides and under your arms. Where you really need it most now all the while on the front it helps your core stay warm so if you’re on a. Bike or hiking the front of you does. Stay warm if it’s really windy now the. Big difference i see with this synthetic. Vest compared to others on the market is just that mechanical stretch of all the. Different materials on the front you. Really have a stretchy material unlike. Some other shell materials that just. Aren’t stretchy at all so this isn’t going to inhibit your range of motion now you do have a full length zipper so. Easy on and off you don’t have to pull it over your head and then the pockets right here on the front have insulation. In front of them, so they’re great for chilly shannon’s the hem in the back is. Actually rounded so it gives you a little bit more coverage which is nice and then the collar on the front is. Really nice to just zip up protect your. Neck especially if it’s windy but because you have that zipper you can unzip it a little bit just to manage your temperature patagonia assumes that. You’ll be sweating in this vest so there’s even a permanent odor control treatment that’s applied to the materials it’s those little things that. Make a big difference the fit is incredible it should fit. Relatively close to your body so it can manage that moisture but it doesn’t feel constricting at all due to that stretch. If your someone who has struggled to. Find a vest that keeps you warm without. Overheating in those chilly temperatures. When you’re moving fast on the trail when you’re running when you’re biking or hiking and chilly temperatures definitely check out the women’s patagonia nano air light hybrid. This is the patagonia women’s nano air light hybrid jacket and it’s a lighter. Weight more breathable version of the. Award-winning nano air synthetic insulation mixed with panels of stretchy. Breathable material makes it perfect for. Those shoulder seasons where your favorite base layer underneath of it for winter running or layer over top of it. With a shell it’s so comfortable that it. Will become your new best friend for aerobic activities in chilly temperatures now up front you have a 40. Gram synthetic insulation that’s sandwiched in between a stretchy nylon. Rip stop shell and a plain weave liner. The liner material in here is actually. Constructed in such a way that when it becomes wet with sweat it doesn’t stick. To the base layer where your shirt like. Some other common materials in this category and then the shell material on the outside will actually shed a little bit of moisture with that bwr coating if. And when it becomes wet this mixture of materials dries super fast to keep you. Warm and dry when you’re out all day long now on the back and under the arms. There’s an airy wicking bubble knit material this helps you manage all of that excess heat so when you’re on a. Winter run or hiking with a backpack it’s really nice to have that breath ability on your back and under. Your arms where you really need it most and all the while the core on your front. Stays really warm now the big difference. I see was this jacket compared to a lot. Of other synthetic jackets on the market is the mechanical stretch of all the. Materials the sleeves on the front. Especially in the back and under your arms is really stretchy and you don’t. See that on a lot of jackets like this jacket is definitely not going to. Inhibit your range of motion now as far as features you have a full length zipper here on the front so it’s easy on. And off you don’t have to pull it over your head you have simple hand level pockets and. For chilly hands you have that insulation right on the front so that’s perfect you also have thumb holes to keep your hand warm so those two mixed together is. Really nice you don’t have any other pockets or zippers on the jacket but you. Do have a drop him so in the back you. Have plenty of coverage which is nice when you’re wearing a backpack or wearing a climbing harness on the top you just have a nice collar that collar. Really keeps your neck warm when it’s really windy but because you have a zip in the front you can really manage that temperature now patagonia assumes that. You’ll be sweating in this jacket so there’s even a permanent odor control treatment it’s the little things that really make a big difference now the fit here is incredible it should. Fit really close to your body so it can manage that moisture but it doesn’t feel. Constricting due to the stretchiness I’m. Wearing a medium right now and it’s actually a little big I’ve got a small here and the small. Actually fits a little bit better if i was going to just wear it over a base. Layer but if i was going to wear it as my outer layer i might go with medium if. You’ve struggled to find a jacket that. Keeps you warm without overheating and chilly temperatures while you’re doing highly aerobic activities look at the. Patagonia women’s nano air light hybrid. Jacket thanks for watching if you have. Additional questions about the gear you just saw please feel free to visit that country edge comm and get in touch with. How’s it going guys your old pal baba ganoush here again so i want to bring. You another gear review here today i want to talk about in fact the very jacket that I’m wearing right now the patagonia nano air light hybrid. Insulated jacket i know it’s a mouthful. But let’s go ahead and get on into it. So okay guys this is again the patagonia. Nano air light hybrid insulated jacket. Like i said i know it’s a mouthful but I’m gonna go ahead and talk about everything why i love it and give you guys the full details really why i chose this item and my. Experiences with it thus far so big reason why i got this i was looking for a new mid weight layer my north face. Thermoball has done a great job for me thus far but i needed something that was. A little bit lighter weight and also something maybe a little bit more versatile not completely insulated all. The way around so i do plan on adding. This to my through hiking gear for. Hiking the appalachian trail 2018 really. Looking forward to it and thus far on my one trip over thanksgiving it performed be ea. Beautifully so a couple quick things. It is a rip stop nylon it is a dwr. Coated rip stop so it does help with some of the water repellency it is not a waterproof jacket however it is a. Moisture wicking very breathable jacket so it will dry very quickly it is a. Synthetic insulation as well so even if. It does get a little bit damp a little bit wet at least i know it’s going to keep me dry regardless and as well i can. Just hang it up and air dry it out and it’ll be completely unaffected so a couple quick things that i really. Like about it number one full-length zipper goes all the way up to give you a. Nice little neck gaiter it is the hood less version i did that specifically because my down hoody is hood less already as well as one of my base layer. Shirts by odlo is also hooded with a. Balaclava type hood so i wanted something that was hood less so that so. That if i was wearing this during the day on a chilly day you know i could. Just do you know the ball and you know i could do my buff over the top or just a little beanie over top and at least allow for you know somebody heat to be released and control things a little bit more another thing that i really love about it is it’s specifically designed with the pockets a little bit taller up so as you can see i do have. Space down below we’re at the bottom of the pocket is they did that specifically. So for backpackers when you have your belt on your pockets are still. Accessible really good part on patagonia. Good looks on good-looking out on their part that’s always those subtle little things that really make the difference really good really key on their. Part it does of course have the thumb holes i really like that part so especially while hiking holding onto my. Trekking poles my sleeves are always gonna be extended it covers the back of. My hand just a little bit keeping them a little bit warmer or having my trekking poles as well I’m so really good. On their part another big reason why i purchased this product so okay as i said. This is the patagonian nano-air light hybrid they have a patagonia nano-air. Light already which is fully insulated. But this is the hybrid model and i want to show you guys why so first and foremost like i said it is a synthetic insulated jacket but it’s only. Insulators in key areas so your main. Torso area over the top and the back of. The shoulders and then over the top of your arms is going to be all that synthetic insulation really keeping your. Core warm the top of your extremities and the more exposed part of your extremities as well where your heat is typically released really nice however. In the parts where you typically perspire and for a way to really control. Your body temperature and to get more versatility out of the jacket they do give you a more ventilated fabric underneath your arms down your sides and. It stretches all the way around the back. So i really like that part number one of. Course like i said I’ll be putting this underneath my down jacket help me keep. Me nice and toasty warm but at least my back wall you know release some of my body heat and control my body temperature but the most important thing. I wanted this for was so for those chilly mornings those chilly days when. I have to hike a little bit with a jacket just to get my body temperature up enough to where i can disrobe a little bit this is something to wear it’s constantly going to keep my core. Warm and I’m moving forward so this is where I’m taking all the winds however. It’ll be releasing my body heat out the. Back a great way for me to you know help. Me control my body temperature a little bit so i don’t sweat in the cold temperatures but i still stay warm enough so this is the medium model it. Comes in at 10.65 ounces i weighed that. On my own kitchen scale comes in three. Colors black obviously comes in a green. And also a slate blue and it retails. Down at your local rei from $1.99 so. Really pretty decent price point only ten point six five ounces so essentially ten to half ounces really nice. And personal piece this enables me to. Get multiple uses out of it in multiple different fashions and still keep me warm enough to keep me safe enough as. Well as putting this underneath my down. Jacket it will give me that extra little edge for those really cold nights so for. Those of you who are looking for that new mid way insulated jacket i. Definitely recommend taking a look into this for those trail runners out there for those backpackers those hikers or even people who just are looking for another good just like spring jacket. That does them really well take a look it is a little bit of a narrow cut i will say even me for a medium but it. Fits really well I’m looking forward to. Test or putting this really through the ringer this worked great on my. Thanksgiving trip and so i decided to. Full-time add it to my pack system this will forever be in my pack system as long as i take care of it properly and i look forward to taking this on the entire appalachian trail so thank you. Guys so much i hope this helped you out a little bit if you’re looking for a new lightweight jacket yourself i know you’re gonna see me wearing this plenty of times in some future videos don’t. Hey what’s up chris here with summer. Coming to clothes recently been in the market for a new lightweight jacket my current go to jacket that i absolutely love is the patagonia nano puff can’t. Say enough good things about this track you absolutely love it one of the main. Limitations though is that when it does get warmer you quickly get hot in this. Jacket so just like a breath ability really stands out when those temperatures do get a little bit warmer so one jacket i kept coming back to is the patagonia their nano air light. Hybrid hoody so wasn’t sure what to. Expect before i purchased this jacket because i just could never find it in a store to look at it I’ve actually looked. At the nano air jacket and really liked that jacket but it was so similar to the. Nano puff i just could not justify. Making that purchase because of the similarities between the two jackets so. Was really interested in looking at this jacket but another thing i can’t face. Him with this jacket was i just could not justify spending the money at the time so it found a really good price on. This jacket especially being the hoodie which i love having a hood on my jacket if at all possible but usually that’s gonna increase the price but failed it was necessary just to show this if you are in the market for number one a lot of weight jacket but this one in particular also if you are familiar with the nano. Air at all from patagonia this is gonna. Be very similar as far as some of the material but what’s unique about this jacket is the fact that it is so breathable so just looking at the jacket. Again the front here for the most part is gonna be insulated but turning this. Jacket around you’re gonna see very quickly that there’s gonna be some knitted top material on the back of the jacket under the arms of the jacket the. Armpits of the jacket and along the bottom of the sleeves here so a lot of those areas that you’re gonna sweat when you’re being active hiking going around. Town or wherever you might be so it’s. Gonna allow hopefully some of that warm. Air that you’re generating to come out of the jacket and keep you somewhat cool and whether that’s not. Totally cold so again what i was trying. To do is kind of find a good in-between. Between say an insulated jacket like the nano puff and that fleece jacket. That we’ve loved for so long the problem. I’ve always had with fleece is just that there’s so bulky and taking up a lot of space when you’re traveling again i like the fact that this is a really gonna be a jacket you can compress or compact. Down really small when you travel though this again in your pack or in a bag i like the fact it’s gonna be very breathable but also I’m hoping that this. Is gonna keep me warm when the weather does dip down or that temperature does dip down say in the evenings we’re at. Nighttime and you’re just out and about whether it’s again you know out in. Middle of nowhere or you know if you’re in the middle of a large city traveling and you just have this handy so it’s. Exactly what i was looking at but a couple things that did stand out that kind of surprised me when i pick this up and got it out of the box again it’s. Just it’s a really lightweight jacket i think it comes in around 10 ounces I’m. So very lightweight but one thing to. That kind of stands out and I’m really interested to see how this is gonna i guess perform when it gets cool is just how thin this back material is so again. I guess I’m kind of hesitant because I’m not sure how warm it’s gonna keep me but i know this isn’t a jacket for really cool weather and thankfully we live in the south so it’s not overall gonna be. Super cold even though we did have a really cold winter last year so. Hopefully i think this is gonna be a good early fall late spring top jacket. And get exactly what I’m looking for. Something when those temperatures do begin to drop that i have handy again if I’m out and about have it in a pack i can quickly grab this out or if I’m traveling again just to have this in my. Bag even if i don’t meet it again very. Lightweight and it’s not gonna take up a lot of space in your pack so again just wanted to show this and let you know again that this material is gonna feel very similar to that nano air top. Material real. Feels kind of stretchy i guess but again. What’s unique is just that the way that this feels and how thin i guess and maybe that’s not a good way to describe this that the material on the back and under the arms and armpits of the jacket is so again this is kind of first look at the jacket this is a large and i will. Throw this on real quick and i believe. This is gonna be more of an athletic fit. And to me it’s actually really comfortable so again I’m about five nine. And actually around 200 pounds and this. Jacket actually because it is a little stretchy fits me pretty well as i was concerned between this and say an extra-large i was afraid an extra-large might be way. Too big if it also comes with some i. Guess the thumb hole here that your. Thumb goes in again to help cover some of your hand and I’ve also read where a lot of people who run this is a good fit. For someone who’s a runner or if you’re. A climber and the weather’s not drip drop too low this is a jacket you could wear all day big and very. Comfortable i love the way this jacket feels and fits and again i love. The fact it has a hood. So yeah I’ve not had a chance to test this because it still is i think in the 90s outside currently so I’m really. Interested to test this over the winter and i will do an updated review on this i just wanted to do a first look at. First take on the jacket my first impressions because i did not know what to expect when i received this so if you do have any questions or comments feel. Free to ask or if you do own the jacket would love to hear your experience with this so again really looking forward to testing this jacket out so as always. Thank you so much for watching please like subscribe again please leave those. Comments would love to hear from you so again thank you so much.
