In this section we’re going to install the crank cocking device not only is it a great tool it makes drawing the bow a lot easier it’s also the most accurate way to draw your crossbow we’re going to. Micro 362 takedown, and they’re going to take a look also to jeff here with the assassin 84 20 the two boats have some. Cool features obviously crank option. Were no crank option here with the new. Easy cranks and those function really great if you’ve got to competitive these new bows you can’t crank this by hand anymore you really need that crank but. This does come in a couple options and lost you know for the context but you can get it with or without the crank as well if I’m not mistaken price points or maybe $12.99 or $14.99 on these. Two bows, so we’ll step over take a shot I’m gonna let jeff demonstrate the new. Quick detach on the take down here in just a second on these two guys I’ll show you the new feature it’s the quick take down feature using our. Quick lock technology all you need to do is push this little lever down and rotate your stirrup forward reach into. You go back to your hunting stand all you need to do is lock it back in and. Pull up your stirrup and you’re back. Hunting and that is never going to change your point of impact your accuracy is always going to stay the same when you take this front end on and off we won’t have to recite in your bow it’s a great way to carry your bow into your stand or go traveling across the country chasing some ass chasing some. You can adjust that and set that so you got a different trigger pool and make that really crisp really easy trigger pull now the other thing that they’ve come up with this year that goes right along with that is if you’ve got an old Excalibur and you want that option to get a better trigger pull and a much softer trigger pool or even that two-stage so you can kind of feel it going through you’ve got the option to drop that into any of the Excalibur bows that have the aluminum frame and so you. Can go back and retrofit some of your older bows if you still got one and put a brand-new trigger in that bow so kind of cool option there something you can. Add on but these new bows are coming with that so here’s the new assassin 420 picked the speed up a. Little bit on this boat obviously had to go back to the bulldog front end so a little wider than the micro however to. Get that speed they had to do that so i still get your built-in crank like the old assassin did and overall just. Hey guys we did it we got it in the brand-new 420 assassin take down from. Excalibur crossbows Well 2019 is here and we just got in the. New Excalibur tim how excited are you oh my gosh it’s amazing this is gonna be. Awesome because for the first time in. History you’re about to see a crossbow that comes apart with one man oeuvre no. Bolts two no screws no bolts nothing to. Do except for the sight but even that didn’t have voltage so I’m gonna actually just screw down by hand tell everybody how this is gonna work so here. It is guys absolutely amazing just unbox on the table this thing no bolts you. Simply snap it together takes the scare up and pull it down and it’s done you want to show them how it’s done let’s do it all rights take the front there so. This is hey guys okay I’m done that easy. To take it apart just as easy just like. That how amazing is that unbelievable with their technology that allows you to. Go from disassembled to assembled without having to touch the scope or recite it in that is just a game changer. Right there absolutely amazing that was one of the biggest aspects of the assassin lineup that we loved last year is the concept that you can leave the. Bow together you never have to really take it apart you don’t want to but to get it in to and back from the field you could take out one bolt with the wrench they gave you and put it in your bag that they provide they have this really cool bag and then that comes apart like this and you could store it easy it’s easy to transport you could put it in the back here a little car you get really get this crossbow anywhere without those huge lumber cases they used to have so Excalibur fix that issue. Then by giving you that option then when you put it back together still bad then this year they took a step further, and they said you know what we don’t really need the bolt we can go without if you want a little bit different design very slightly different but it’s still an assassin platform absolutely um we’re a lot of the same features a lot of scenes has somewhere let me get the ax adjustable butt stock so you can easily go from a kid shooting it up to an adult shooting it and just a couple of quick moves of the screws back in the back here and it’s got the amazing Cochran. Decocking mechanism that they had on there on the original assassin completely silent absolutely in the. Literally unbelievable the way they have it so easy to use and the technology on this crossbow absolutely amazing with the quick lock technology in the front end charger crank on the back end yeah. Yeah i mean so much technology in it and the new sight which i love man this sight like i said it we’re not so easy just two knobs here and i didn’t have to anything else no but, and then they actually left one of these loose on purpose so you can easily adjust it that’s awesome yeah that’s absolutely amazing so good fun into every. Aspect of this crossbow it’s also tim. Roll through the specs this potion 420 feet per second it’s 14 pounds cocking. Just about ready to shoot this thing finished looping up the rail and one of the things that we did notice we did pull up the original assassin just got it did a visual side by side here you will notice it is a little bit wider cocked it’s 23 inches compared to the original assassin which was at 21 inches and also it’s a little bit longer as. Well so i think that speaks more to the speed this bow is us you’re supposed to be shooting at 420 feet per socket the original assassin shooting at 360 feet per second so i want to show you how to cock this thing real quick before we get started alright guys so. Really easy to cock super easy you just want to make sure that it’s in the release mode here then all you’re going to do is push down on the release buttons and then here to slide the mechanism all the way forward so you hear click nice and sturdy into the string make sure that it’s unsafely after you do that next step put your. Hand in the safety strap make sure that’s nice and tight and take the handle into the crank at that point you. Just flip it the crank and you just keep moving with it as you can hear there’s. Nothing complete silence so very. Cool really easy to crank while you’re up in the tree stand you’ll have to walk around with this thing cranked so as you can see is crank it all the way up you’ll hear a nice click and you’re done. Simply take the handle off that point. Put it back in and you’re ready to go. Alright guys so here we go first shot with the assassin take down. So let’s go through the take down procedure one more time so you guys are aware of it so basically what we’re gonna do is i have it here now this is. Very easy and i want to show this but when i push this button that’s what i do I’m gonna push just a slight tad forward. On the one stirrup just to loosen it and get it a little bit loose there goes like that goes back and then simply pop. It off and vice versa i just do a reverse if i want to put it back on just showing you how to do this by myself so without tim here i can put all back. Together so there’s that and I’m gonna. Second that’s number one is probably the fastest 30 things pretty much gone through this chrono but this is right out of the box i mean we just put this together put that we’ve been taking the end off-putting it back on we haven’t done anything to it except set it up and for 24 feet per second it’s not. Often that we beat the rating right out of the box so great job Excalibur alright guys so there you have it a couple shots and man i am impressed with this crossbow 420 feet per second and you can really see that when you’re shooting absolutely and it’s amazing to think I’m a whole one piece of this bow and tim is holding another and within two seconds we can reassemble this thing okay and shoot dead accurate shots yeah. One of the things we’re sitting here testing and kevin one of the other owners brought up and said hey shoot a shot take it apart shoots it again and what happened dead zeros we only count.
