Ortovox Piz Bianco Insulated Jacket – Men’s

Taking its trust in wool outside of the limits of a baselayer, Ortovox implements wool in some way or another into every one of its garments. The Piz Bianco Insulated Jacket utilizes the temperature-regulating benefits of Swiss wool in an insulating layer that can be worn on its own or under a shell. The Swiss Virgin wool insulation helps regulate your body temperature while transporting moisture away from your body, making it ideal for aerobic activities in cold and high environments commonplace to ski mountaineering and alpine touring. Ortovox updated the Piz this season with a merino wool lining to enhance temperature regulation, moisture management, and breathability. The nylon micro ripstop shell readily resists tearing, and it is fitted with a water-resistant membrane to protect from moisture. • Hi this is brad with proline gear and. Today we’ll be talking about the Fitzroy pants for mounting equipment these are a great brand-new piece for them they’re a synthetic insulated trouser with. Elasticized waist and suspenders there. Are 60 grams throughout the entire body the pant they have a full I’ll do it on. This side so the camera can see it full. Hip to ankle zipper with us some nice tape on the inside so it’s kind of anti snag integrated snow gaiters these will. Fit over ski boots these will fit over ski boots or climbing boots very easily great set of belay pants not only do you get the velcro but snaps just in case things get a little snowy and little problematic to use for the like how that system works and mountain equipment with. All their stuff they just don’t seem to skimp on the zippers i hate articles of. Clothing with poor zippers that always stop and snag these pants their jackets. You can move them all over the place that really care, and they never snag which i really like up to the top here. Here and get this in frame they have two. Zippered hand warmer pockets real deep. You could almost fit a pair of skins in there if you need it too definitely getting extra pair of blade gloves or a glove should you want it one on each side waist is elasticized so it’ll pull. In and hug nicely a little bit of a high back and kind of keep snow out zip goes. Down to snap fly and then four places. When you’re moving quickly or on route the zip comes up as well for easy access. The braces three-point system those are. Suspenders for us americans are very. Easy to take on and off just simple little clips. Like that one off without a problem. And a velcro closure in the back these pants weigh a grand total of 27 ounces. For the size large there’s going to be a great piece for man cold days skiing on. Resort goes one or two days a year when it’s definitely below freezing if you’re out there fantastic set of belay pants. Because of the zips you can put them on and off without really taking off any of their clothing taking off your boots or your crampons which is really nice and the weight is in there to where you can use these throughout the whole year the liner is dry light loft, so they’re highly water-resistant highly when i. Completely windproof throughout the whole piece this porch right here is extra tough material as well as the kick. Patch and the seat of the pants great. Little set of pants for mountain equipment if you have any questions about these please give us a call at four zero six five eight two zero five. Zero eight or send us an email at info at pro light gear comm thanks for watching.

Hi this is brad with proline gear and. Today i want to show you the new fire light pants for mountain equipment these are our three layer active she’ll piece very so much they’re firefox pants just. Lighter the size medium and these pair of pants way 7.1 ounces the only real. Difference between the fire lights and the firefox’s the fire lights don’t have the three-quarter zip the fire lights only have the quarter zip so if you are. Wearing crampons you’re going to have to take them off you get into this pair of pants but boots i still think you can. Slip through without annotate after booths during a rainstorm fantastic pair. Of rain pants no thigh venting unlike. The firefox pants which do have the three-quarter zip with the multiple zip so you can do the banting if you need to. Articulated knees you can walk with ease gusseted crotch for unrestricted movement it does have an elasticized. Waste with the draw cord in the front. Still using the very minimal style of. Seam tape very light doesn’t impede the movement of the pair of pants at all at 7.1 alice’s this is one of the lighter. Three-layer construction vortex pieces on the market if you have any questions. Please feel free to call us at 406 5820. 5208 or send us an email at info at. Kroger com thanks for watching.

Hi this is brad with probe leg gear and. Stared be talking about the new three. Layer rain pant and gore-tex active shell from mountain equipment this is the firefox pant eight point eight. Ounces three layer active shell has a. Nice elasticized waist with a draw cord. Comes with a small stuff sack so you put. These in your back very nice they give you that along with it the seam tape on. These pants is incredibly small and very. Lightweight you really don’t notice the tape like you do on some of the thicker pieces and thicker seam tape master you. Can see that in the frames I’ll try it again there’s a little bit thicker piece down the side but the other seam tape they use is just super thin and. Really flexible very lightweight so you don’t feel it now the wider seam right there it’s still very flexible you don’t really feel it either on the cuff of the. Pants and a small amount of elastic just. Gonna hold decently well around a pair. Of boots for backpacking our light skiing this will tuck into boots but not probably go over the top of a ski boot cross-country skiing or snowshoeing over a pair of boots they’d be fine these have a two-way zip three-quarters. Of the way up so the whole pair of pants just opens up so even if hearing crampons you don’t have to take off your crampons to get them on and off is. It fully up and fully down so if you’re. Skinning in doing mountain pursuit something like that they will ventilate very nicely again eight point eight ounces for the firefox pants for. Mountain equipment if you have any questions please feel free to call us at 4:06 five eight two zero five zero eight. Or send us an email at info at pro. Lecture comm thanks for watching.

Hi there it’s Clyde from the outdoor I’m. In gracie couch and just been walking in. The woods in the forest and I’ve been. Wearing mountain equipment ibex soft. Shall trousers so I’m just going to run. Through the details of them with you. Now these are made from an extra light. 210 stretch double weave soft shell. Fabric there are now pine fit with what. They call regular angle. They’ve got pocket here for your hand. Pocket and then also below there was. Another vent flap carrying on down the. Trousers down here there is another vent. So we get hot you can open it up like. That there’s also a draw cord loop there. But there’s no draw cord in it you have to put your own draw cord in but if you want to you can do now well they got what they call a low volume bottom of. The trousers that is to keep them in. Sort of fairly close and i really like that because as you can see you don’t. Get all cat up with mud up here which is. Often happens you know with your trousers normally when you’re out walking but it helps keep them clean stop some gets away and get some muddy. And if we go up a little bit I’m not. Gonna strip naked it’s a bell and then a. Double popper and the felt lining around the top to. Keep it comfortable the only way for. Five grams so that quite like quiet. Stretchy easy to move in comfortable to. Wear what’s not to like maybe the belts a. Little bit fat for you but apart from that they’re very functional very useful. If you’re scrambling climb in hill. Walking anything like that excellent so its mountain equipment i bet soft shell trousers thanks for. Watching hope you liked it oh yeah by. The way i forgot it’s got a zipped back pocket as well there you go that is it. That’s all of it thanks for watching.

Hi I’m paul from hike light and this. Video is going to be about the ibex pants from mountain equipment now the ibex pants are a soft shell stretch pant. At a very affordable price and in my opinion once you try to stretch pant and doing outdoor activities you won’t want to go back and the important thing about the ibex pants is the premium you’re paying for stretch pant is really quite small so in my opinion well worth the money so let’s go through some of the features the pens now the first thing i want to talk about is the fabric now this is a proprietary fabric from mountain equipment which is why its possible thing that is sold at a pretty affordable price now my opinion the inevitable is to compare with shala. Which is a very expensive material and the rolls-royce as far as shell pants are concerned and in my opinion these compare very well firstly the stretch is. Superb and much as you could want they’re very good in terms of breath ability and also water resistance and compared to shoulder actually quiet. A hard outer — these almost like a sort. Of an a face fabric which means that they’re far less inclined to get caught by bran blur than things which is something that Charlotte tends to suffer from so compared to shoulder I’d say. These are considering the price difference superb value for money and really very attractive the cut on. The ibex pants is pretty athletic, so they’re quite figured hugging, but they’re. All like tights and not gonna make you feel like you look like a marathon runners they do look quite sensible on the hill, but they are quite close-fitting these are 32 inch waists. And i would say my waist is 31 inches which means i could choose between a 30. And a 32 in my opinion if anything I’d. Go up a size of these because they aren’t quite a figure hugging if i took the 30-inch waist then i tend to find they’re they’re too tight for me, so they are quite a close count now on each side. Of the pants there are two pockets and up one and a lower one now these pockets. Are reasonable size, but they’re not gigantic you’re not going to get a map in anything but then you probably wouldn’t want to and then on the right-hand side there’s also an additional pocket on the rear but that’s only on that song but. The waist fastening is with two poppers which i think works much better than one and then there’s a sensible belt with a. Good clasp ear and also the belt is. Enclosed most of around the waist so you don’t get the problem riding up which can happen with some belts only have a few loops around the edges finally the legs have zips with an. Extension inside to make it realistic for these to fit over almost any types of walking boots that you might have now. It’s always hard to give an indication of water resistance for what I’m going to show you the extent to which the d dogs are on these trousers means that the water disperses very quickly so you. Can see there no hint of the water and being absorbed into the trouser so that. Then is the mounting equipment ibex pants a soft shell pant stretch at. A very affordable price.

Hello on one of the buyers at a outdoor. And I’m just going to go through one of my personal products highlights we’re going to take a look at the mountain equipment mission plants there a technical pants that are built for kind of cold conditions mountaineering or hill walk for most outdoor products. Price is quite a good indicator of the sort of quality of the product that you’re actually going to be getting for these mission pants they’re currently at 130 pounds which means that there’s a. Lot of construction and design that’s gone into these so let’s just take a look at the fabric first so the main. Fabric technology used in this is exa. Light these are excellet to 75 and it’s as well. Wind stopper as well and the wind stopper is used in the knees to. Reinforce the knees and also reinforce. The seat of the trousers. This is placed that you want it to. Stay warm you want it to be dry if you’re kneeling down in the snow so here mountain equipment are offering three layers of protection there’s the outer layer which is obviously what you can see here and this is a sort of abrasion. Resistant layer with water repellency. Placed on it then inside that is a sort. Of it’s called a membrane which basically means it’s like a selective barrier inside which will repel the wind. But it also let your legs breathe and then on the inside is sort of softer. Fabric sort of comfort next to your. Knees so these two areas are the places. Where you’re going to want the most keep the wind out but also have good breath ability and durability these trousers have diamond cut crotch as well which basically means there’s an extra. Bit of fabric placed into the crotch like an elongated triangle just to give. Extra stretchy stretch nurse when you’re. Moving it is quite popular with climbers. So the inner ankles as you can see here they’ve got extra bracelet kind of. Resistant that they’re basically being tough and a lot and this is to stop your. Crampons or all your skis wearing it down quickly so mount equipment on the place out there just to sort of protect your ankles there’s also an internal gusset into the. Ankles as well which sort of expands it so that means these trousers should. Accommodate like most pretty much all mountain boots i would have thought and. Also that it’s adjustable in the. Hem as well which here there’s a button. That you can sort of press there and you can either tighten it up once you’ve got your boots on the way you can loosen it so you’ve got that protection around and also a clip hidden away there that you can attach to your move if you need to. There’s the two zip sear that will. Vent your legs for the trousers you. Can see so when you’re on the move and you’ve really solved your legs are sweating a lot you can just open them up let you let your legs breathe for a bit. If you need to do that also we have the. Pockets as well, so we’ve got the integrated standard pockets here zip. Pockets we’ve also a smaller pocket here which. Is also you could leave that open it’s got a mesh back in as well so if you really wanted to keep the airflow going and then finally there’s a integrated belt as you can see which is really. Handy too to give you that adjustment and it’s obviously built into the trousers and also it’s got a double stud. Fastener here and also quite handy that. It’s got a zip flies it’s a double zip. Fly so you can either have it up or down depending on what you need to do it just. Gives you that extra kind of options when you’re out and about or on the go just remember to do your fly’s back up. Again i guess finally these are an. Alpine fit trousers, so they’re know exactly loose-fitting, but they should fit most people i. Mean some people have mentioned thighs but the legs are really that skinny and there’s a bit of stretch there so you should find they fit most of people looking to purchase these are my first choice of trousers if. I’m going out and about in the cold weather they’re perfect for trekking above the snow or if you’re alpine climbing great built. Winter season just for reference I’m wearing size 30 waist I’ve gone for a. Short leg I’m about five eight so that. Should help you when it comes to thinking about the fit of you.
