There are different rifles available on the market. In your choice, you’re limited with the ammunition and game you will hunt. It means, if you have a 22 rifle, you’re not going to hunt deers. If you have a .308 rifle, you’re not going to be hunting rabbits.

Because of this, we suggest you have more than one rifle depending on what you’re looking to hunt. If you aren’t sure, check out this TOP-list. You can also check out best beginner hunting rifle recommendations available on various sites if that’s what you’re looking to get into.

Hi! People-oriented shooting sports magazine. Welcome to government tv, and we have a new rifle Savage to the semi-auto. So what's so exciting about a semi-auto sporting rifle conversion ar-15 to semi? Not a lot but this is rather nice. I'm in testing this. You've probably seen the review in the mag. I'll be using quite a bit. It's the new Savage A 22 a for automatic.

In the UK the gun comes in tooting magnum wmr and long rifle and I elected for a magnum. Just a little bit difference. I like simple nature ma and I think it's more active than amazing. However — Team Magma carries more weight to bullet and more energy so it's perhaps better for foxes that sort of thing but here it is plastic stock. Does it sound great? It's not a bad stock. The barrel is fully closed it which is quite nice on a center, on a some factory semi-auto into few magnums I do like.

The barrel is 22 inches long so it gets the best out of a cartridge in the long rifle version. It's 6 inches long which again is probably good length for two an hour in the UK so as you've done a fair but work on this gun in terms and make it more user-friendly. The thing i really liked initially is the very large cocking handle. As you can see it's a big rectangular plate. Lots to get hold of. If you need to most semies have a little tiny hook which is a real pain to operate. Savage has also included there a key trigger which is this is the second dubs mark and it's got a blade in the blade configuration. So you can't pull the trigger in to depress enfilade like a glock. And also you can adjust the trigger pull.

There's a hole on the back of the trigger guards. You're going to take the gun out stock. Drop it down and keep and wind it. It gives you a really nice break and also you cannot set it too low. If it goes too low it goes into a fail-safe position which means you just reset the trigger so it's no problem having a really light trigger that's dangerous control wise magazine. Well there and you have a manual hull open button. Reason is you have main holdin buttons because the gun runs on a 10 shot rotary magazine. Not dissimilar to route really intentionally to working magazine and this sort of languaging cannot mechanically allow a automate last round hole open. It's not a big problem but when you finish firing banging away last round.

The bolt comes back and just shuts again. Just be aware of it but if you want to open the bolts. There's a little captain under here. You can see, you just pull it back. Lift up the catch and the gun is locked. So you put the mag in and drop it like that build is a bit different. It's two screws that hold the accent barrel action in there. Front screw comes up from the bottom with the rear screw which is under this plastic dust cover comes down from the top and you have to take the dust cover off to get the bolt out which usually means having to take the scope off because the scout has to come up as angle to come out. So you might have clean from the back then you do have to some take the scope off unless you're incredibly high mount.

I find something like this. As long as you keep it clean a Bore Snake will take the rubbish out of the gun and say I've been using a number different sort of load but the two best ones I've come up with is a CCI Maxi Mag which is a jacketed or coating hollow point and the Workaday 30 Grain V-Max which is their latest high-speed load, actually wise. I've found that generally with the 40 grain load bit CCI winchester or other weights you're getting approximate in each out of it which is not too bad. Not quite of the 17 but with the 30 grain be maxed. You are getting 3/4 inch without a real problem which does then make the gun a lot more interesting in terms of longer range accuracy average velocity on Ammo. Lightness is around about 2,000 feet seconds and on this it's about 2250 so it'll shoot flatter, hit harder, and say read the magazine.

Put them in ten shots. The magazine clips in. I found with this thing. You need to put anything good slap on the base when you put it in because sometimes it latches or I think you think it lacks and it doesn't but it's just a matter of getting used to. It also comes fitted with two Q DS as ever. I've got a Harris bipod. On the front one I saw two other brothers barricade of the MD. He said that boyd's gun stocks I will be offering at a later date. A thumb hole laminate for it which would be my choice but as it is.

Its a surprisingly good gun so let's just put you a few rounds here so that goes then clicks in that's your safety catch there. Let's say bye to get rid of the fire. Just pull back and release and you're ready to go ten rounds make camp well. Wish to catch up and it looks open one of the things I have notice of this because it's semi-auto. The trigger reset as obviously as the bolt cycles and you get a strange kickback feeling off the trigger and obviously good follow-through on a rifle is your fire.

You maintain your position and once the shots gone then you relax so and if you don't do that you get the kickback of the tribune. It can affect the shot but it's absolutely down the technique definitely the gun but these are about roughly 500 pounds. I think the average figure this is nearly one that Edgar said to me hasn't been threaded but guns with a two to long rifle or two to win mag will come threaded half might take you from moderator. I'm more impressed this and I thought I was and it's made me rethink to Magnum to a great degree. I think it could open some a little bit different with good reason firepower and enough clout to properly give a fox from a rim fire. This is not a bad gonna consider.

Ruger introduced its American rifle a little over a year year-and-a-half ago. And it's proven to be as good as anticipated. And the reason it's so popular for one thing is. This suggested retail price is only about four hundred. And fifty dollars that's an inexpensive rifle the other reason. It sells so well is it's proving to shoot much better. Than an inexpensive rifle the first time. They were prototypes. We were down at the FTW ranch in Texas shooting long range steel gongs. This with Workaday factory ammunition think 39 times on targets as far as six hundred yards away before. I missed one folks. That wasn't that was their rifle.

These things are really remarkable. This is a 306 they come in a standard length actions which would be the 36 into 270 Winchester they're probably a. And they've now made. It into a short action so it's. Even shorter and lighter. And that'll be the 308 length of cartridges. Several ins and they're starting even make rim fires. Now the whole idea is to build a rifle. That will shoot well shoot accurately no fancy bells. And whistles but it doesn't sell for a lot of money, so they've simplified. All the manufacturing costs so it's mostly tubes tubes keep. Everything simple and round. Now you've got a full diameter bolt as. You can see the bolt body itself is the same outside diameter as the three locking lugs so the lugs. And the bolt body itself are. All the same diameter so you don't have to have any raceways carved inside there. You've just got the receiver which is a tube.

You may get a nice straight concentric circle. And the bolt slides right into. You don't get a lot of binding on. That bolt because it's the same size. All the way through. And they've got a little groove along the side. That the bolt stops slides in. You can see it's got a plunger system like the model 700. And a lot of others it's a push feed system. And the extractor is a hook with a spring behind. It set inside of one of the recoil lugs. It just seems to really make for an accurate little rifle synthetic stock. This thing is flexible little move a little bit on. You but it's free floated. It seems to always be consistent every time I've checked. This a couple of a couple of bills sliding up. And down that probably enough to keep. That barrel from vibrating against the stock. You shoot now there's. Some special things inside. That bed this to the receiver. And it's kind of unique system.

We're going to open and take a look. It's a couple of metal V-blocks. That the round bottom sits in. That helps maintain a consistent bedding pressure. That helps with the accuracy too let's take a look at those like to put including 45. And 65 inch pounds of pressure on my bedding when. You have a consistent aluminum to aluminum bedding system the way. They do on this rifle. It really helps with your accuracy. And here you can see you've got. These notches on the front of the round receiver bottom. And at the back and those V notches made up to. These aluminum v notches. That are sunk right inside of. That molded plastic stock. And the bolts the screws comes right up through the bottom so as. You can see they're pulling. That action consistently into. That hard metal surface so it's metal the metal every time. And a nice tight fit inside of those grooves. You can see that they're not going to be a lot of slop going on in there and those actually function is your recoil lug.

You'll notice you don't have a separate recoil lug out in front of the barrel. And the receiver like. You do in most rifles nor is there. One built in as an integral part of the receiver which is an expensive proposition the way. You get with say a Mauser. Or a model 70 Winchesters. It seems to really be consistent. I can crank that betting pressure down feel good 60 inch pounds which is just about as hard as. I can crank on it with a screwdriver of. This size I feel no bend in the receiver. I do the rear batting screw which tells. That it's good flattened level I'm not pulling it down I'm not sucking it down. And bending the receiver which can impact your accuracy yeah that's nice and tight the shoots as well as before. I cleaned it should really shoot well. I put about 600 rounds through. This thing and never cleaned. It was consistent the whole time. I didn't do any accuracy tests on paper but boy. I added long range on Gong's.

I was hitting those 9 inch plates out to 600 yards pretty consistently 30 out 6 factory ammunition that's pretty impressive the clip magazines here detachable magazines are made of kind of plastic nylon material they're quite rugged. And durable and it's amazing how consistent. This thing is I have never had a feeding problem I'm going to try for it feels so easy hi. You a lie it takes four not three I'd forgotten that's pretty impressive a small light little magazine. It takes four rounds at mans its easy so simple to load do. That okay two inches low. One inch to the left.

Everyone welcome to a replica arrogance video and it's Michael. I've got a little bit of a different gun here for you. This is the Henry 22 lever action rifle. And kind of zoomed out. All the way here I'm actually holding my tripod up, so I'm going to bring it down a little bit. And we'll continue on with. This not really a review but. More of an overview. You might be asking me why am. Idoing a review of a 22 rim fire rifle well first of. Because it's my youtube channel. Ican review pretty much. Anything I like but. Ido like to focus on the replica guns air guns. And blank guns primarily. Ido have some other videos on here. That aren't necessarily specific to air guns. And blank guns but I really wanted to just quickly do an overview of this Henry 22-caliber lever action rifle. I purchased recently the reason. And the reason why I think a lot of my viewers will like. Because like air guns it's a fairly low cost gun it's inexpensive to operate 22 rim fire rounds are really inexpensive. You compare them to other types of rounds. You can buy a box of 500 rounds for under $20 very inexpensive so it's about a tenth of the price of regular ammunition so that's very appealing to me.

The reason I also like this gun is this particular rifle can take just about any kind of 22 rim fire round so. This particular rifle can take the 22 shorts. When you're shooting these shorts. They literally are about as quiet as an air gun very quiet to shoot. These comparatively. You have your long rifle round. These are obviously a little bit louder but. These are fairly inexpensive. Because they're mass-produced. You can buy these in boatloads for next to. Nothing you also have crazy rounds like. This is a birdshot round. You can put in here. This particular gun will shoot literally. Anything because it's not an auto loader. You don't have to worry about the blow back recoil activating the action. Because it's lever action. Icould shoot anything in. It will function pretty much perfectly, so I'll really like the fact. I can put a bunch of 22 shorts in here. I can actually get I can actually put 21 rounds in the tube-fed magazine so. It has a tube-fed magazine I'll show. That little bit later.

And get 22 rounds in here a lot of fun. This gun is really fun to shoot. Now in Canada you need to pal so. You have to take a course to get your pal then. You have to register. This gun but you can literally walk into a store with your pal. And 10 minutes later. You can walk out with. This gun you have the power. You don't have to wait a long period of time for the permit to go through it's literally instantaneous. If you're loading this particular rifle with 22 long rifle rounds you'll get 15. If you're using the long 22 long you'll get 17 rounds. I said before you can put 21 rounds of the point to two shorts. You can also buy this gun in a 22 Magnum. You can buy it in a point 1 7 HMR varmint Express versions so that's a high-velocity really small caliber round version of. This gun comes in a. Few different models. Some different cosmetic things different barrel lengths there's different lever handles there's a carbine version with a bit larger lever handle on it for larger hands.

This classic look so. This was appealing to. I picked this particular gun up at a local retail store. It was a demo model. And had a few little necks. I don't know you'll be able to see them there's. One right there one right there just from being on the floor. I imagine this gun will get Nicks over time. And things like that but. I touched them up I saved 10% so. I actually picked this particular gun up for 269 dollars. That is a steal as I said it's really fun. All wood stock this guns metal I've heard. Some parts like this particular part here. This little strap here might be plastic could be not a big deal. Most of the gun is metal. And wood now the gun did not come with the scope. Ihave the scope lying around. It fits perfectly believe it's just a three power scope but. It works really well with. This gun I was shooting this gun at about a 45 to 50 foot target.

One inch group with it. With the scope set up the way. Now again this gun has been safety-checked but. Another way to do it is to just that's. One with the safety check. These is just cocking a. Few times make sure. Nothing flies out you can do a visual. And look inside they're very nice gun it's going to be a little bit hard to do here in. This position because I'm kind of in a weird position but it's a full lever action which is nice. Some of these guns will be a 3/4. Whatever and you'll actually be only come to. This position but I like the fact. That it's full lever action mostly true. Now I'm going to try. And decock you also have a semi safety here so that's basically your safety. And the hammer was not resting on the firing pin. You bring it down again. You know you can manually cock. When you're ready to go D cock. It's tube fed really quickly show. You just essentially twist. And then you can pull it.

Your tupid magazines and essentially what this tube Fed magazine is it's basically. It just a big long spring so nothing more you load and I'm not going to load because I'm inside. But you essentially even have. This sort of little feeding shows where the rim goes you just put the rim in there. And just drop them the rounds in. They feed down towards the action of the gun. When you've got all your rounds in. You would put your two feet back in. And there you go you're ready to shoot. This gun I'll show you the other side really quickly show. You around just a beautiful little gun really inexpensive to purchase, really inexpensive to shoot.

You don't need a sight on. Or a scope on you can just use the open sights I'm sure it'd be a lot of fun. Iwas contemplating whether. Iwanted to put a scope on here but at the end of the day. Ithought you know. What this is going to be a really neat gun to target shoot with. And for any you know. I could use it for pest control around the yard essentially to be careful. Because with a 22 round. Even the shorts have fairly decent green to them compared to a pellet gun, so they'd have about double the grain of a regular pellet. Ibelieve they're up into the 20 to 30 grain. Most 22 caliber pellets are going to be. You know 15 to 2 if you're lucky up to 20 sos there's. More mass in a 22 rim fire bullet. Even a 22 caliber pellet. You have to be aware. That it's going to travel a little further. And they're generally going a little faster. This particular gun with a short will shoot around 700. Ithink — 750 feet per second so it's still moving pretty good comparative to a high velocity air gun but again more mass.

You're going to get a little further distances. And is going to penetrate things a little bit. And go through them a little bit. More so to be aware of beyond your target with. This gun for sure especially. When compared to a BB. Or Pelican you get up into. These long rifle versions of these bullets. These are traveling up upwards to twelve. Some of them even go up to about 1600 feet per second. Ibelieve a stinger. Whatever they used to call. Ican't remember I bought. While back not even sure. If they work, but they're lighter pullet moving a lot faster. And so again you have to be aware of beyond your target. When you're shooting these types of rounds so. That pretty many covers. Ijust wanted to quickly do an overview of. This little Henry 22 caliber rifle. This is a gun I plan to keep indefinitely.

I just love these lever-action rifles and the size of this guy. And it's nice and compact. It just means you know. You can literally take. If you're going backpacking or whatever and easily carry it around, and we're coming really useful for small game hunting and pest control for sure thanks again for watching another replica arrogance video. This wasn't exactly an airgun. This time and know it's not for sale in the replica airgun store but. I really wanted to share. One with you so again thanks for watching if. You haven't subscribed please subscribe and until next time we'll see.

We're gonna look at 22s and one of the most requested videos was for the browning semi-automatic 22 John Browning. I'm not misleading you when I tell you I've probably had 20 of these but when the requests all came in I had none so I put out the word. I'm looking for browning 22 and this one arrived and I can tell you that it while it's in the box. I don't think anybody used this gun and this is the Browning 22.

I look this up and I'm sure that all of you have a lot more time for proper research. 1914 was what it was introduced its another John Browning gem. I mean just look how slender and perfect the whole thing is. You know how popular the ruger 10/22 s. Are the take downs well i have to say. This is as smooth as it gets. It's an interrupted thread i don't know. If we can focus on that but those of you who collect Winchester's know interrupted threads. I can talk about this for a second so you can see the threading is what locks the mechanism together. This is an adjustment collar which I'm going to talk about in a second because this gun is interesting and I mean it's interesting overall but it's interesting for a particular reason and that is that for some reason.

At the factory they didn't adjust the threading correctly and as a consequence although the gun assembles okay it's not locked up tight. Oh sorry, I put it in he wrong way. I actually practiced this before filming but what's throwing the office that take a look at the bottom of the action. See this little piece here that's the take don't leave her a button. And it's not in the correct recess so of all this that I've had. This is the only one that actually doesn't go together properly. What I have to do is I have to back off on this collar so that the threads can turn in more but it's still worth making the video even with this fumbling because the gun, it does work. It works fine which is interesting that a gun that's assembled incorrectly.

It still works but it extracts and it checks you wouldn't think that would all line up but it does so we have a fantastic take down system although it has to be adjusted properly. But I think it's meaningful that I can take this gun and adjust it in a few minutes and it'll work fine. That's another thing I should mention in case you haven't seen my other videos.

I've purchased quite a few guns that are virtually new. This was made in 1968 and were nowhere near 1968 so either somebody bought it and put it away because they don't like shooting anymore or they bought it never looked as it then looked at it then it didn't work. They put it away again and here it is so many years later because it didn't work and it's too late to go back for warranty or they thought maybe they're assembling it wrongs kind of like I did a moment ago but it doesn't matter. The reason I mention this is if you find a virtually flat new firearm quiet often there's some small problem with it that resulted in the original owner putting it away and this is easy to resolve. But let's forget all that and I'll go back to the gun itself.

Were commenting on how handy they are. I mean I have a look at this, look at how slender the action is. It ejects from the bottom and again forget about this alignment. Think, it's not a big deal. I checked from the bottom so there's no ejection port on the right and if you load it from the back. Very simple. Turn this tube and drop your rounds in so a lot of you will be familiar with this gun but a lot of you won't especially the young shooters so that's something else I wanted to say.

I think that if the firearms industry wants to move ahead, sorry, I have to figure out what's wrong here there and survive we have to reach out to young shooters and people interested in guns. And based on what I'm reading on my channel it's just a matter of communication. I think firearms are fundamentally interesting and all of us need to like I said reach out and take young people to the range. Take them shooting, introduce them to the whole concept. There's more to life than sitting in front of a computer game. Not that there's anything wrong with computer games. I like them too.

Browning semi-auto bottom eject. Let's see if I can see you pull this back because this extractor kind of interrelates with parts in here, and then we can turn it. Did you see the force that was needed for me to turn? That's normally? Not there. These normally turn easily so I have to make an adjustment in here but can you imagine that John Browning knew that there might be adjustment necessary. So you just take off the four and we can adjust for that so very simple and I mean easily.

One of my favorite 22 is just a beautiful frankly. It's a work of art and I've seen them engraved, you know, with squirrels and acorns and all kinds of things. This one is made in Japan like I said 1968 prior to the 60s was made in Belgium. I wanted to talk about that for a moment. People collect these Belgium-made Browning's and I did too for quiet a while. Actually did really well with that and then I critically and hopefully intelligently looked at the Browning, Belgium Browning rifles shotguns and the Japanese ones and I'll go out on a limb.

Here I can't see any difference quality wise between the Japanese guns and the ones made in Belgium. Some people say the ones made in Japan are better. I don't want to say that because I don't know that's true but the japanese guns are super. The factory just happens to be in Japan. So anyway to the collectors of which I'm one if you like it saying made in Belgium that's fine. These sets made in Japan and I can't notice a difference. This one - it doesn't even line up by the way I said that might be I think I just said it might be assembled wrong at the factory but it could have been that somebody just fiddled around with this call or something else.

You just don't know and you try to always do things like scientifically not concluding stuff and then you know believing stuff and concluding its true. It could be false could be something else anyway wonderful 22 but stock fed and I hope I didn't mislead you can feed it through here you can also feed it. Through the back if I'm not wrong i always fed it through here. Anyhow I always like it by the way when chief when you send me remarks and corrections. That's a good thing you have no idea the presence of mind that you have to have in order to make these videos in one shot. I don't edit. It's its a stream of consciousness and as if I was talking to you in my home which is the way I like operating anyway beautiful little rifle and if you were I think they're gonna discontinue these one of these days. They've only made like a half a million since 1914 which sounds like a lot but it's not that many.

Anyhow, I guess they'll be around for a while folding rear sight, and they handle just like they weigh nothing if you want to buy a gun for your wife or your girlfriend or for a young person. It's just about perfect and I like that tube feeding. We don't always have to have clip magazines and volume of fire. These are wonderful and how often can you buy something anyway that started out in 1914 and it's still being made today and you can tell by how I handle it's just a feather. They set it up for a skull but why bother anyhow so there's that one and then I'm gonna move to another one because I told you I have 25 videos to make it.

This is made in Russia. You know, I love Russian guns because, as I told you, I think the russian guns are like russian people. Kind of indestructible. This is a beautifully made rifle but it's made beautifully in a different way. It's a clip fabric repeater and the reason I put it here is I think my challenge won a few channels where you can see guns together just because I have so many guns or I can get them. So this is the classic Browning and here we have the russian tank. Alright, this thing came with like five magazines and this thing never jams. This thing is tough. The parts are big bold. It's not necessarily heavy springs are robust. Everything is frankly. The way it should be and the design of the stock is excellent and I put everything in this thing.

All kinds of Ammo Remington winchester federal. All kinds a mix and match drop them in here and it digests these like it a 22 AK but I don't know where you get these they're there I'm not even sure how i have this. I think weight of course is threaded for a silencer which I don't have either. Anyways before my cameraman who loses their arms and hands. Oh, I'll stop talking and thanks for watching!

Hello! This is a review for the Ruger 10/22 semi-automatic rifle. This particular one has a chrome effect so I can use it really in wet weather. If the weather is all dump and I'm crawling through muck it's not going to rust like ordinary blue door. You know that the blacky colored guns would have married that chrome effect up with the silver. Silencer does a reasonable job and let you listen how quiet or how noisy it is bear in mind.

This is fire and almost at the camera shot one of my bushes there. Perhaps the best thing about this gun is well apart from the fact that almost every madness dogs got one so the spare parts are readily available yeah is the reliability of it's very rare. You get a misfire. This is the magazine. It's actually a rotary magazine holds ten shots as you fire on the next one. Is pushed up in a rotary fashion as opposed to a straight opened down. Fashion like you would in a have a normal magazine like this one this is a. Normal magazine there's the crazy one it's like 25 shots i know in america can get like 7500 shot marks but really. You'll end up tripping over them you know this one slots in makes it look like a bleeding the ak-47 saw.

I tend not to use that one because it just gets in the way but I just brought it out to show you there are options. I don't use winchester bullets in this gun, winchester subsonics. This spits them out about 1100 feet per second. Reasonably accurate from between 48 yards after that. The bullet tends to drop off a bit and you've got to allow for a little bit of hold over.

This scope I use is Simmons 3.5 to 10 by 50 Whitetail Classic. I just bought it off. A meet who was particularly hard up at the time. It's a nice bright scoop. I've got fairly low mounts on it so it keeps it very closes to the gun that means that it's not sticking way above the gun and it just helps with accuracy. Obviously guns only as accurate as the person holding it but it does help to. Have the scope as close to the barrel as possible when i first got this gun it. Had the most horrendous stock on i just. Bought a secondhand so first of all i. Smooth this stock down and stand it and. So on and put like a little spongy foot. Play it on and it looked quite nice but then i had the opportunity of buying a thumb hole stock. To to incite the world stock made of walnut absolutely lovely stock there was. The last one that a company called south yorkshire shooting supplies had in stock.

We actually do a hell of a lot of good accessories for the 1022 if you search. For them on internet they're called rim fire magic kooky very good shop i. Think this cost me mmm roughly about two. A Hundred and forty quid or something for the stock the gun itself was only 150. Quid secondhand and it's been a very good investment one thing i would probably alter on this. Particular gun is the length of the barrel whilst it has been shortened a. Little bit would possibly if i ever get. The time or can be bothered take it down. A little bit more just allows us to. Swing it around easier in a car if your lumpin it allows you to get it up over walls over gates and so on just that. Little bit easier if it's a bit shorter by one seven has actually been shortened. Down to the legal limit and it's a lot more maneuverable than this gun.

The trigger on this particular 10 22 is a little bit heavy but then again I'm only comparing to my one seven which has an excellent two-stage trigger. The one seven are Harvey's and on shots 1517 just the factory trigger but it's absolutely excellent. This is a wee bit heavy but once you get used to. It's alright. I suppose you could adjust it as well but I tend not to funny on with them just kind of take them as the comb you know i suppose anybody watching a. Shooting or a gun guide video he's most. Likely gripped by blood-lust fever so. They want to see how quickly it fires so. I'll show you. Reasonably fast notice it wasn't any. Charms the marx empty spot them out all. Nice and clean hasn't actually been fired for a while either so I just prove how good and reliable this gun is.

Initially i did fit this particular gun with a bipod which allowed me to lie down and take very still accurate shots. But to be honest I tend not to shoot. Anything over 80 90 yards with this. Anyway hollow obviously will kill roberts you know 140 hundred and 50 yards we won't. Necessarily do accurately unless you some top-notch marksmen but i prefer not to risk wound in the animal that's why i. Tend to shoot it at a realistic range and I took the bipod off because most of. The shots are take with this more or less surprise shots you know you walking along the side of a wood you look over the wall there's a rabbit 15 20 yards we clap down you just take a quick shot and. Drop the target obviously most people. Who were watching this video will probably want to know how accurate this particular gun is and as i said before a. Gun really is only as deadly as the. Person who's holding it since i generally used the 1 7 which is a really. Really accurate gun.

I just hope i don't show myself up with the accuracy demonstration because i haven't used this for a while here we are at the pond. I'm gonna shoot a target just below the skyline. They're busily. I'm just gonna pick a rock out on the bank side and have a shot at that it's roughly 35 yards. We have something which is roughly the distance I would tend to shoot most of the rabbits and squirrels and sue or not. So I have the sights actually set for think about 45-50 yards but 30 yards. Still, accurate you know. That's not bad i got to four or five. Shots there hit the rock again from. Roughly 35 yards away I'm just sitting. On a rock behind me not resting on anything there the stone that i had the. Shot at is approximately i saw the size. So really more or less rapid-fire. It's not too bad certainly if that was a rabbit it would have been 100 percent success head shots.

So, in summary, would I recommend the Ruger 10/22? Yes, absolutely. I actually prefer it semi-auto gun over a board action for short-range shooting. Because played off when you shoot one target you quickly see another target and the noise of rock and a pulled back. You know even if it's well oiled and everything's working as it should it often gives you that split-second delay and also be extra noise that can scare. Your second target away whereas with this you take a shot what you see. Another target whop whop. Especially good for lumpin that's when this gun gets most of its use i tend to use the 1:7 for deer time shooting as. Most of the shots during the day are at a much greater range but i would wholeheartedly recommend the ruger 10/22. One of america's finest.

The best rifle for beginners

Before purchasing a rifle, define your current experience and skills.
If you are beginning shooter, and just want a rifle to learn with, a light caliber is recommended. Consider .22 caliber. It is inexpensive, easy to come by and use. It is probably the best choice for those who learn the basics of shooting.

Firearm for novice hunters

If you are going to hunt with a rifle you should look for reasonably accurate, reliable, and durable one. On the other hand, it must not be too expensive. There are a lot of "price and quality balance" options, and some of them are presented above. Picking the right caliber depends on animals you are going to hunt. Make your own research what caliber is the best. There is an approximate classification according to animal size.  A .22 is a squirrel rifle, .22 magnum is for rabbits, .30 or 7.62 is a deer gun, .300 magnum and more is a bear gun.
