Classic green color I’m, almost an army, green I, would say pretty neat. It’s definitely 100% stainless steel I think it’s 18, / 8 stainless steel. So it’s not going to rust. There’s no BPA! It’s got a wide mouth, so it’s a little easier to fill and to pour the lanyard is integrated, so you’re not going to lose it. It’s leak. Proof apparently, and it’s got a lifetime- warranty see what it says in the bottom. There it just shows Stanley PMI, calm hand wash only do not microwave made in China that sucks well, it’s eight ounces holds eight ounces, BPA free, of course, because a stainless steel yeah it doesn’t weigh much at all, which is nice.
If you’re, you know, if you’re carrying it around, that’s basically it thoughtfully designed with booze in mind it’s rugged too. It’s got this rugged texture, which is cool and also comes at red. I kind of wish. I got the red, but the army, green is pretty neat I. Think, though, yeah anyways I’m gonna put a link below where I got on Amazon. It was like $14 99. For guys where we talk about stuff for guys talking about flasks, let me take a sip, a beer, real, quick um. So I’ve got a few flasks right here. Some cheaper cheapy ones right here. This one has my name engraved and it’s got a small stout, pretty small spout the stanley 8 ounce, this guy right here with a neat little top right here.
If you can set it up, there’s my hand. Yes, it’s about 6, inches off the ground right there and it’s nice, and it’s got the small small lip like the other one, and then you got a pucker your lips. Now I found the bad boy Stanley with the big spout right here and it Dwarfs the camera there. We go lining up the camera right there, this Dwarfs the regular spout.
It’s awesome. It’s got plenty of a rings and seals for everything. It’s got a nice finish that you can grip. You can open it. I want to make this movie under two minutes. So that’s the Stanley Stanley flask right there.
Greetings from minnesota say I just picked up this um stanley master series flask and if you’re here looking at the video you, you know what it’s all about, I’m not going to really give you the specs other than to say that this thing is like the fort knox right for your uh for your hooch. I mean I’ve, never handled a sturdier flask, this thing’s going to outlast me, but what happened was and the reason I’m making the video is when I got it home.
I felt this cap was sticking like stopping like there was. You know, pressure in there, um kind of a little scratchiness and the cap would literally stop, and I thought, oh god, you know, I got a bum flask. You know the the threads are screwed up or something like that, but that was not the case and I kind of lucked into the cheapest fix imaginable by the way um all of this stuff, the cap and the threading.
That’s all machined, that’s not the problem. This is the lightest pressure imaginable and it just operates super smooth now, uh, because I did this. I was playing around with it and I thought yeah. I wonder I wonder if there’s friction between this keeper ring and the uh cap itself, and then I started turning this and it was catching catch catch and in turn, when I would try to screw it on, I discovered uh.
I thought it was the threading anyway. So here’s the super, easy fix, don’t return this flask! Oh, you know the thread’s bad. You know man, I got a crappy, no, no! No! It’s awesome! Uh! What you’d need to do is see. If I can do this, you see that little there’s a little tiny space between this keeper ring where they come together and the cap itself. Well, what you want to do is find a little bit of uh real thin oil.
Here I’ve got some rem oil out of my gun, kit, cleaning kit, you know viscosity or whatever that word means very thin. Maybe like some sewing machine oil would be the same deal super light. Uh, it’s a lubricant uh prevents rust whatever. So what you do is you you put, I wonder if I can get. In close, I put a tiny little micro drop right where that uh opening is where the bands come together, just a little drop of this and then you’re thinking.
Well, I’m putting oil well, the threading on this thing is on the inside uh. The part that you oil is on the outside of the cap and once you put a drop of oil in there right in there, and you turn this cap, it’s going to just be as smooth as a baby’s bottom. So that’s what I did. I put like a half drop of oil in it, and now it is absolutely uh. Silky smooth to operate feels great.
So there you go. There’s your cheap fix. I’ve read a lot of uh, not a lot, but enough bad reviews. Where people said you know, hey the threads bad. The cap doesn’t screw down all the way. I ended up with an ass full of booze at the you know, at the end of the day and soak my pants and whatever that sounds kind of like a personal problem but um anyway, I experienced the same sort of sensation when I first bought this and then I put a little tiny bit of rem oil between the keeper and the cap, and now she just snugs down and works real smooth.
So there you go, uh got four and a half minutes to tell you to put a little oil between this keeper and the cap. So there you go. That’s my psa for today best flask. Ever it’s just remarkable love. This thing haven’t used it yet live in minnesota. So you know it’s kind of cold 30 40 below zero. You know so guys. Gotta have a little antifreeze with them. Don’t you know? Okay, we’ll see you guys later buy this flats, damn it bye.
What we got here is the stanley pocket overview of it. I just got I’ve been looking for a flask for a while now and I’m gonna found one that I liked. So why I like this one compared to others, gotten unboxit, see here sorry now the reason I like this flask is number one it can fit in your pocket. I, don’t know who designed the traditional flask, but thing is way too wide to put anywhere you tie it around your lady’s leg.
I, don’t know, but it’s way too wide for it to go anywhere this one. You slide it in your pocket. It’s got five animals to the whiskey. So that’s enough for a night out anything else, you’re asking for trouble, um the lids, actually plastic. That’s something I like about it! I think alone, a lot of flask. This part is the weirdest thing ever.
If the metal lids feel flimsy feels like you’re gonna double thread, something this one very smooth, very easy to operate and for all you liberals out there, it’s BPA, free I, think not to be liberal, just ease, but I guess we’ll see what kind of steel it’s 18, 8, stainless, it’ll, never rust great product and I’ll keep you posted it’s guaranteed for life, but I bet you.
The only reason I would send it well, I wouldn’t send it back, but the only reason that I can see this getting damaged. If you ding it on something and you got a ding buzzing that I think you should be good to go until you lose it or for life. Maybe that’s why they guarantee it for life. They figure you’ll, probably lose it before it’ll break all right.
