Cool thing about that is when you put your foot into this like really buy it to fit you know like size-wise i take a. Forty three in normal shoes and i take. These and forty-three as well so i don't go down at all my mountain boots are. Size 44 to give me a bit more space for like ice and mix climbing but yeah they. Hey I'm nathan welcome to the scarpa. Booth so i thought maybe you're here you'd like to see the new model of the vapor so vapor is actually one of our. Most popular climbing shoes mainly because they're very balanced they do a little bit of everything and most people haven't got to the stage where they have three four five pairs of climbing shoes, and they want one climbing shoe that does a little bit of everything they're a seven panel design so most people. Think that the intermediate they're not we've actually got just as many pieces as a drago so and the pattern that. Stitches them is very hard to do it's a very small kicker at the front here you can even see the outline on the shoe and that's because the toe position in vapor is a little bit flatter that's because vapor we really wanted to. Make it an aging and smearing shoe that. Had a good balance between either the first version of the vapor was almost all ever and then the next version of. The vapor was a combination of synthetic and other materials and then the last version of the vapor that we got here is. Synthetic on both sides with a leather at the bottom so the version before i. Had suede leather on the inside here, and we exchanged that from microfiber and. That made the upper a little bit softer as well as we reduce the volume of the tongue and tapered it a little bit so that made the whole shoe a little bit softer, so we put a new plastic insert on the inside and previously. Would have heard that we had flex and plastic inserts we use that a lot from the performance models and the new vapor has a tail and plastic insert and the. Tail is just a little bit stiffer we also extended the plastic up and over the heel so it just gave a little bit more structure to the shoe because changing out the leather for the synthetic softened the upper, and we didn't want to change the characteristic of the shoe very much for climbing we just really wanted to make it a little bit more comfortable and a little less of breaking in period but the same performance one of the other things that you'll notice it's got a excess grip to. Here with two layers so that's something that we previously did on the instinct model and a lot of people really liked it, so we put this onto the model it adds a little bit more labor but it gives the heel the ability to. Change shape and obviously it gives the best rubber for heel hooking on the other side so overall we improved. Basically the characteristics so the. Shoe could break in a little bit faster but in the end the shoe remains on the. Same last with the same shape and just a. Color update and a softening of the upper and a stiffening of the mid sole the vapor woman's and the vapor men's. Are on different lasts so they have. Different rubbers so you'll see this sample prototypes got excess edge it's actually excess group two on the women's and it's excess edge on the men's but. That's not really the biggest difference the biggest difference is the total volume of the shoe so especially in the heel the volume is a lot narrower and more sculptured on the female version than it is on the male i mean a. Lot of people are choosing the shoes off the outside looks it's not what we want. We want them to look inside and climb with the shoe but in the end the velcro. Strap looked a little bit nicer with a little bit of 3d print pulling it out the strapless is the same we did insert. A piece of elastic in the middle here just to kind of keep that flat and keep. A real snug fit because we felt the straps just pulled in two points and the middle point didn't get pulled in enough so that's why the velcro versions. Changed slightly on either side we did a lot of changes on it in the hope that we. Would make it more comfortable but changed nothing about the characteristic of the shoe and you know in the end that meant that we changed the whole mid sole the shape and the plastic so it's its. Probably it is yeah it's a totally. Different shoe with the same characteristic when you climb but um i think it shows that you can't just fit all with one layer and not affect the whole shoot so each layer has an. Effect doesn't matter what you do even just changing the material will change the way it comes out at 2019 and. The price is a moderate increase but i. Think it's marginal five bucks ten. Bucks yeah, so we tried as much as we could to keep the same price but obviously there's a little bit more work especially in the heel it's gone from a single layer here or to a dual layer. Excess grip here so it takes a little. But more work to do that most people. Just don't realize how much work goes into the climbing shoes if you put a relative price on the climbing shoes compared to some of the other shoes that the margins are actually pretty small they take a long time to make and. There's a lot of handwork in them, but we're capped by having the most expensive prices on the market i think people just don't understand how long it takes, and we've got you know 38 of our. 39 models are all made in italy, so we haven't got the alternative of cheaper manufacturing or anything like that.

What is up Duroc here you first outdoors. Today i wanna do a quick little review a. Pretty sweet little daebak i like god it's gonna be the deuter a ct trail 30. That's right this little pack is quiet. Impressive actually i was kind of skeptical but i used it on a recent hike. And i was very impressed with it especially if it looks kind of small but. It held everything i needed it to hold. Which was surprising and it is very. Comfortable so I'm gonna go over a couple things with it and pack it out shows you how much it held for me and why. I think it's a good pack for the money alright let's take a good look at this thing first so pack is very light empty pack weighs. Out 2 pounds 10 ounces this is the acp. Trail 30 so it's a 30 liter pack i was a. Little skeptical about the hip belt you know there's no padding or anything like that now you gotta understand this is just add a pack so you can pack. It out really well but this really it did well and the padding here kind of. Leaves a space between your back so some. Air can flow through that and that seemed to work well it was a pretty hot day when we hiked up mount Trumbull. So i was very comfortable got some stuff i already used this pack once this is looking at the back the. Straps are adjustable here and then up. Top but you can't adjust the back like. Port or so that's pretty much you get. What you get flipping this over what i like about. This too is it's got the little rain. Rain fly that will cover back here. Always like that i think that's great in the packs no although i should try and. Put this all in the packs full up see what looks like they will do that to that's cool that stuff back into there. You've got a one strap to lock the top. Down here and you've got some extra. Space on the front here to store some. Things and you can also store some. Things well that's the side. Entrance there so that's kind of windy. And you've got that on one side what you. Also have is the ability to just open. The entire pack from the top like that. So that's kind of handy grab things out. Of there without having to go to the top and then there's also the top pocket. Which you can store some things to get your key holder there and there's also one more pockets isn't there yeah inside. The top there you can cram some stuff in there as well. We've also got a little bit of knowledge. Right here you know alpine emergency by. You know singled aircraft all those things that'll help you out if you get. And a pinch well it's tough this thing. Our real quick alright so what you're. Seeing here is the back fully loaded. Everything i like to carry on a day hike. And it seems to hold on then what i. Don't have i don't have stuff jammed in the top pockets or in this front pocket so those are still empty although I'm. Sure i could find something to put in their i like to pack a view so that's just or lots of stuff that's just how it. Rolls but we're loaded you can see how. Now that holds up. Show you how fitz. Here we have it's pretty good mmm. One thing i really like about this and i was kind of weird when i first put it on is like with the straps it belts I'm. Used to pulling back to tighten this one. They go pull front and it's beautiful it. Looks great I'm you can just type down like that and i just think it's so much easier to pull that away then this way that's brilliant. Actually i think so that's really cool also on the sternum strap it has this. Plastic thing that's clipped on and it. Moves up fairly simple so you can adjust. Sternum strap pretty easy. Looking at this now that could pop off. Just pop out of there it doesn't run. Through so that's gonna happen i mean. It's gonna happen this is gonna pop off. And i presume that you could pop it back on we'll see but a cool little feature. But i think that yeah i know that's. Gonna pop off sometime somewhere it'll grab on something i don't know interesting works well but well we'll. See won't we you already got a loop sewn. In here to hang something sunglasses a. Little camera case something like that's pretty cool okay there's there's. One side pocket here and i generally. Don't carry sticks on day hike just. Depends on what I'm getting into so this will fit in an al jean bottle. And you can run this through the loop at the nalgene top there to keep it from popping out but that works well and you. Can also use to hold your sticks or whatever looking at this is going. To fail in time everything fails but. That's i don't know like i said this is. A new pack I've only used it once I'm hard on things I've run through bushes. And dragged things across it i mean it's. Just we'll see but for the moment it. Works you can just that yeah i mean this. Is gonna pop off or rip out it will i. Now it just cuz it's happened. Everything every time i have things like this they're gonna fail not off the back. But eventually so bearing that in mind. You can still fit an al jean in there. And you could probably rig something up to tie it but that looks pretty secure in there but this thing your miles may. Very i suppose but it's handy and it'll. Work for the moment we will see in time. Heavy usage you know things are gonna fall apart there's another one over here. Also where you can hang something. Through and a nice axe or something i suppose something else but there's no pocket so yeah you know you got some. Little things sewn here you could attach things to so there're options it's cool i. Like what i like it you know i think it's a well-thought-out pack for the most part i think these things could be. A little sturdier and a little more. Heavy-duty but you know things like that. Will increase the cost of the pack so. Yeah we'll see where it takes it rights. You've also got some loops sewn in on. The bottom here and they'll be useful. For some things this is connected here. You'll take unhook that and that's how. You'll access. That's your side wait a minute do you. Notice that huh okay well there's a side pocket right there instead of an outside. Pockets a zipper pocket where you could stash something a map or something would go there wow just now I've seen all kinds of cool stuff so you don't clip these claps here. And this will get you into the top of. The back to get whatever you need out of their back down so now that this thing's. All full up let's try that rain fly. Again see how that holds up sticks out. Of here put these back on so i got a. Full up pack will this fly cover it now. Moment of truth alright so the fly is attached to the. Pack fly out and wind grabs it you'll. Never see it again let's see this. Actually well right look at that. Axe fully loaded and the rain cover just. Covered the entire pack and it covers it. Well that's cool love it and it's even. Got a little drain hole at the bottom like i said this is a this is a pretty thought-out pack a nicely thought out pack all right you've got your slot for. Your camel back hose and then it'll run. Down strap there go right through there. So there's your water system if you will. I don't really like using camelbaks. That's just my preference sometimes i do but a lot of times i don't I'll just stick with no jeans so what I've got in. The pack is I've actually got four. Nalgene bottles in their now one of them. Stuffed with things i may need so in. Theory i could hold a gallon of water just with the nalgene bottles in here and I'm. Gonna dig everything out and show you what i got in their so jackets rain. Jacket also got another now jean this is. Got a bunch of stuff in it. Whistle lighters blah blah blah and I've. Got 20 liter dry bags this just got all. Stuff like compass sunscreen food toilet. Paper all those essential things like that and i don't really carry this is a. Quick dry bag this is more for a canyoning so I've got stuff ready for a canyon I'm doing tomorrow we've got a lighter dry bag which I'll use this to cut down on weight but it's still it's still the same thing 20 litres it's not full of course but you know that'll work. Too and that's everything that was in. There and you've also got your slot of. Course for your camel back in here like that so there you have it all my stuff. That was in there so pack holds quiet. A bit everything you need for sweet long. Day hike and if you have to have or come. Into some inclement weather it's already. Geared like that I'm very impressed with this pack i like it i like it a lot and i think it'll last there's a couple weak. Points i think but you're gonna have that'll anything and if you were to make. Those things more heavy-duty like i said. It's just going to increase the price point of the pack and as far as the. Price point i think was it yeah this went for 130 dollars so. I think it is worth it. To be honest with you so there you have. It the door a ct trail 30 i use this pack. Reviewing the misty mountain turbo harness this was sent to me my misti a couple months ago and I've been enjoying it a lot for the past month got to tell. You guys I'm really psyched about this harness not only is misty a great company they're based out of western north carolina all their stuff is hand-stitched right here in the usa but it's a great harness as well it's not just the fact that they're a great company make great products so this is. The turbo harness when i think of misty. I think of three words really stick out in my head they're comfortable they're. Over built and they're safe misty is. Known to have one of the most comfortable harness lines on the market there Cadillac harness is probably most. Popular most people you see out the crag who have a misty harness on probably i. Mean in my experience I'd say eight times out of ten they're going to have a Cadillac on, so they're very Cadillac are very popular that's their big thick trad harness it has six gear loops it's. Just a big monster multi-pitch harness. But i see it here at the new I'm here at the new river gorge at the junkyard crag and i see them you know people using them for cracking all the time so that doesn't mean that you can't use the Cadillac for fragment but this might be a better option for you if you mostly do single pitch cracking and then sometimes do multi pitch this i think would be a great option and I'm really excited about again this is the turbo harness so I'm going to go through all the features of this harness but first. The so this has fixed leg loops this is. The turbo and the one with the adjustable leg loops is the sonic and. The female version of the sonic is the. Silhouette so the silhouette is female with adjustable leg loops misty doesn't currently have a name for the female version of the turbo but just ask for it. Ask them for a female version of turbo, and they change some of the specs they change the dimensions of the waist belt and the rise to fit females better. So just ask them misty's a great company they also do split sizing where they can. Do different size like this is i believe. A large you check yes this is a large. Size so if you needed like a large waist. Belt and a medium leg loop they can mix. And match sizes for you of waist and leg. Loops so just so you know so don't think. When you go on their website oh you know. This leg size doesn't fit my legs but this waist size fit they do what's called split sizing, and they can mix and match those sizes because these are handmade one at a time so let's go. Through the major points of this harness this has a quick adjust waist belt so. You don't need to double this one back so you just pull it and it stays secure. It's very safe like i said safe and durable and over built and what. I like you know no detail is overlooked. With this misty harness and I'm sure the same goes for all their harnesses I'm sure the line is all the same so you'll notice the end of this waste this. Waist belt is stitched into a point and you know little details like that i really enjoy because that makes it. Easier to thread through these sleeves to keep the waist belt back so there's a sleeve right on the side right next to. The buckle when you tighten it in so. You can slide that through there easily and then the misty patch also doubles as. Another large sleeve to keep it even further out of the way so you just slide that in there. It's out of the way. What else so all the time points are. Heavily reinforced you can see lots of. Bar tack and stitching here but what also is nice about the time points is they cover it in a slippery material. It's kind of it's a nylon that is different from the rest of the nylon. It's very slippery, so they'll add durability because the reduce friction of the rope running through so your tie. In points won't get blown out as easily the belay loop they're known to have one of the largest belay loops in the business this thing is no exception the turbo harness this is a 6,000 pound belay loop so super beefy and durable. And over built very safe so that's you. Know your belay loop in the front turning towards the sides there's four. Gear loops to an aside but again being. Misty who they are if you want to add tool carriers like if you're an ice climber if you want to add tool holsters. Or extra I'm sure maybe not gear luke. But it was a belay loop we doing extra belay loop things like that they can work with you so call them up great company anyway moving to the side for. Big gear loops these things i have a couple other harnesses just I've gone through over the years and these things are large let me tell you no problem putting a ton of cams and nuts and quick draws and slings and things for trad climbing so these are very large on the back what you'll find is. Somewhat rare but is very nice to have. Is a full strength haul loop on a. Cracking harness so this is a very lightweight it definitely competes with all the lightweight all day multi-purpose harnesses out there and not on have full strength haul loop so that's a very nice feature also on. The back is the rise they have a feature called detachable rise this is pretty common so you know nature calls and you. Don't want to take the harness off if you're in a multi pitch situation they have the detachable rise there with the buckle. The inside of the waist belt and the leg. Loops it's like this soft black neoprene. Material but it's very breathable so neoprene isn't breathable so but it. Feels like me brain has like kind of soft spongy feel but it's very. Breathable i mean its kind of warm out today is low 80s high 70s and i don't i. Don't feel hindered or sweaty or you know wet with this harness at all it definitely breezes for you know an all-day harness it's you know it's not like a mesh style harness you know you. Can't see through it so it definitely has a little bit of thickness but that makes it extra comfortable at the same time it breathes. Like i said it has fixed leg loops. Again reinforced high end point extra. Stitching to make it all very durable leg loops are very comfortable I've been. Very impressed a lot of times leg loops there they it kind of seems like. Companies they just don't do research, or they don't test it or something but these leg loops have been surprised it really comfortable so I've just been. Overall really happy with the turbo. Harness again give misty a call if. You're looking for new harness they can work with you on sizing they can work with you on options this one comes in. Weight full functioning harness on the market 224 grams designed really for alpine climbing for gear loops low-profile gear loops for. Ice buffer slots a super thin. Low-profile belay loop fixed legs it's super packable and really lightweight. Like i said 224 grams so having a. Lightweight harness is one thing but having it really packable is another so it takes up less space in your pack not exactly on the comfortable side of the. Scale though a lot of the guys have been wearing this thing sport climbing and it's like totally fine really really minimalistic 149 95 available in january. Of 2018. Pretty sick it's pretty sick what we did. With this was we took our kinetic core construction from our zeno center chaos. And our ethos this is really the guts of that we stripped all the shell and everything off and left the the bare bones basically the skeleton so this is. Vector and fiber super strong doesn't absorb water really packable really lightweight made the width balance. Between comfort and pack ability way more comfortable than you would think but it's alpine rig it's designed for alpine climbing no adjustment on the leg loops you know the only adjustment is the waist belt to get it on and off and this belay loop is super cool it's. Basically one strand of super high-tech. Fiber that's wrapped around like a doughnut and then wrapped in this casing. So it's not like that most belay loops are a piece of webbing that's folded into looping and bar tack so that's how we could get this to be so strong and so small and it's way way way over built we. Could even make it smaller and it would still meet all the requirements but it would get to the point you'd be freaked out we actually played with the diameter. Of this tubing a lot because our other. Have thicker but then it's it's not as. Packable we found this to be a good balance between functionality and pack ability if you put nothing on it then it's really hard especially with gloves and jackets and stuff in packs some ski mountaineer is gonna wear this you go to the tetons you want a real harness that's really light in packs well 224 grams that's insane it's only 5 grams i. Think heavier than the kawar which i would classify as not a full functioning harness you know yes you can wrap it and. Stuff like that but you know it's got the diaper legs and no gear loop you know that kind of thing so this is like got everything you need on it called the. Vision because we thought that these climbers that are looking at these crazy north faces in the mountains like they have the vision to link up these ice smears and stuff this is the kind of harness that they want to wear sadly we. The shop and a good friend of mine so today we're going to be finishing up our review on the Gregory salad 24-day packs. And what we're going to do is go through some of the pros and cons of this pack I'll tell you right up front I'm very few very little wrong with this pack i really liked it well, and we'll start out. By going through what i carry and why and get this done trumped any minute all. Right welcome back guys. Let's talk about what i liked about this pack have you several tax with. The Gregory for a day pack. I found that i can carry anything over. And above what i normally carry which is in excess and so in some people's mind. When it comes with date hiking will. Start by showing you what i carry this. Pack is ready to measure for 24 liters. Which i found to be pretty accurate the. 24 liters is way bigger than you. Really need to day hike but it really allowed me to carry the essentials and what i mean by that is I'm kind of like. Self-preservation if i get out we get out in the back country i like to have things and be prepared for pretty much anything if i get stuck there i want to know that i can survive no matter what. Kind of conditions are there are so hey we'll start by showing you this i carry my fire kit everywhere every time i go. On they would consist with some fire-making materials here i carry a pin or any logbooks i might. Run across on the trail they're lighter that's actually a butane powered jet. Lighter very reliable. And might go to item ferrocerium rod. Found very few situations that i cannot. Start a fire with a ferrocerium run they're very effective chuckle. Atwood if you're familiar with bush crafting type skills this is excellent fire starting material it's a just resin impregnated pine and what. That one is and of course another blade i carry. Believe you don't have a knife here you do at home so anyway that pretty much. Covers my fire starting kit and that's. In the center all right next item I've. Got here very accessible some d all. Right here protein this is nothing more than some turkey jerky great source of. Protein and energy out there on the front of course the amount of food you. Carry is going to be dictated obviously by how far and how long you're going to be gone water filter and bag i use a. 64-ounce sawyer bag with my little mini filter excellent piece of equipment and. Stand by got to have a knife gotta have a good blade in the woods in my opinion. And i never go now that this is a more companion robust made out of 1095. Carbon steel one of the essentials these. Knives are great they're very inexpensive one of my favorites actually. And you guys know I'm talking about here. Gotta have toilet paper well as my cook. Pot this one happens to be a little stanley this one actually came from. Walmart comes on very good piece of. Equipment $14 and my little go-the stove. And watch a review on that stove on a youtube channel as well this has two. Nesting cups which are very thick hard plastic which are lightweight but. Virtually indestructible, so we really like these you can cook in this we make. Hot tea coffee you name it can be dusted and next. First aid kit this one happens to be. Military in nature i have pretty much. Anything in here that short of a combat. Lifesaver yet you know we can treat any basically and kind of cut up into stitches i can't do stitches but any. Minor injuries we can pretty much cover with that's a whole nother review in its own, so we will get into that to be also state i can always carry my you. Know lovino hammock i can't say that our. Camping that but i do have it just in. Case i find a little too big for the. Email to be staying multiple days on the. Trail of course my atlas straps for you know cordage always carry good cordage. With me and that's for sure. Never know when you might need an extra. Flow in case it rains or whatnot and. Along with that express ox i like to. Carry my little small nikon binoculars with me i just like watching wildlife and of course you never know when you might need to see something far away so these are great these are little ten power great for the trail and of course. Flashlights got them a little tack light here I'm. Not really sure what brandi just says j5 tactical light i think i bought it online and one of the essentials to me. And score is having a bush craft type mindset i have my little grants poor's. Brooks mini hatchet it's absolutely one. Of my favorite tools i can pretty much do anything that i think i could do. With a knife with this tool for a. Hatchet this is razor sharp literally will shave you clean which is with a nice tool to be fine carving with it and. Split firewood with it just almost a. Necessity to me and of course i always. Carry a thousand milliliter water bottle at minimal this is the nalgene brand and. I could look at that's it and you can. See on the bottom of the pack this pack has lasting points on the bottom for anything you might need and i just happen to carry by a little flex like a. Chair i need a place to fit anyway. Talking about the pack itself this seems. Excessive i know to most people as far as day hiking but it is my mom said that. With this equipment i can pretty much encounter anything i have the tools i need to build a shelter if i want you i have enough food i have fire making material i have a place to sleep in the hammock if i need to so i go prepare. Water filter you know this is. How i do it this is no right or wrong way to hike it's just my way of doing it. One thing i like about this pack is this. Gregory sack is very lightweight I'm not. Sure what the spec says or we should. Look at but the pack itself is very lightweight it's very well-made you know 24 litres. Is big enough to carry all of this stuff. And if you're not a inclusive type day. Hiker like i am then you could fit. Clothing you can put anything you want to and this is how i do this offer he. Comes with a mesh suspension system that. They call their free span it was very. Nice i found that on the trail it kept. My back nice and cool even when you know. Going up strenuous steep sections of the trail i found it very nice the pack was. Very comfortable it fit well oh I'm 511. I weigh about 220 I'm kind of short. Waisted myself so this particular pack. Fit me very well i believe this one here. This is the men's. Okay i believe it's just a one-size-fits-all in the day pack but i believe that this pack would fit the majority of you know your average guy say which that's kind of what i am. So very nice bit i like how they have on. The waistband they have nice pockets here you can put a phone there if you. Choose anything small knife and on both. Sides which is nice also i like the top pack that pouch. Up there you know i put some of the essentials in it a lot of times i like to carry stuff that i want to get to you really quickly like my knife you know fair socks you know toilet paper is just. A small essential up there and of course. The main pack has had tons of room in. It how obvious if you can expand that you know it works very well it also is. Equipped with a hydro bladder you can. Fit a pretty significant water bladder. In here if you desire which is nice i. Particularly don't carry them a lot of people do guys another thing i want to. Show you is here southern a select amount ors, or he carries a variety of. These packs this is another Gregory also this is a sailboat as well this one's an. A team leader it's a little smaller in volume same features it doesn't have the. Expanded waist belt just because it's. Not as you're not going to carry in here as much weight on this type. This one is world. This is also a solo 24 men's packed. Different color schemes the only difference about that's actually pretty cool anyway either I'd have to say that i. Would give that Gregory packing nine out of ten and i think yes grid dating for. The money i think retail here at the store this is a 115 so good value if you. Look at other different brands you'll find that's very comfortable and actually maybe a little bit less expensive than some of the other brands as well same feature packed item nothing. I want to mention too is versus some of. The other packs that I've used as well this one has the five pouches that are. Actually big enough to fairly easily put. A thousand milliliter water ball in each side without compromising your internal. Space so i found that to be very nice as well yeah anyway this has been andy with. Hey there folks luke here with the. Outdoor good review i hope you're all doing well today for this episode we have the fjällräven Nabisco 55 liter packs. 360 time you guys have seen this pack. Before and our stealth overnight adventure wear is a winter storm coming. In we were just going through the woods like crazy this pack is tough as nails. It's awesome go ahead get comfortable let's take a look at it now so here you. Go guys here is the Nabisco pack this is. The 55 liter version now this is the older version of this pack from what i. Understand the 55 liter male version has. Been discontinued it's no longer available I'm sure you could find it used on ebay and so on but there's a 65. Litre version and now the 55 liter. Version is for women so if you go out. You're looking for one of these packs you come across one right here on the. Back you should be able to see that it says Nabisco 55 right next to it will. Either be an m or a w and that will signify it if it's for the male or for. The woman so with that being said if you get the 55 litre version or the 60 liter either way you're getting an awesome pack we'll go ahead and start by taking a look at it right here at the very top you have a drag handle right below that you have a zippered pocket which gives you access to the lid very good quality zippers these are ykk zippers good quality pull. On them too good action you have some. Bungee cord right here on top so you could put i don't know your sweater whatever you want to your brain jacket out here maybe let something dry you have a draw cord with that so you can cinch it down real tight of course. There's the fox leather very good. Quality the lid is hunkered down to the pack thanks to these two straps. On the inside of the lid you have this large zippered mesh pocket which. Includes the rain cover included it even. Has the fox on it you have this buckle right here with plenty of strap it's so you can cinch down your load or expand it you have a. Drawstring pull right here at the middle. And then this does extend up with another drawstring pool so you can expand your load to fit your gear to fit. Your needs going down in the center you. Do have a pocket very good amount of space you can fill up this entire section right through here flipping the. Pack over to the side compression straps. With strap keepers very nice quality you. Do have water bottle pockets down here at the bottom which are stretchy too so. You can fit anything that you need to in there you have the same features on the other side of the pack so as you can see. Here the pack is now laying completely flat because this is a cool feature on each side you have a zipper and another. Zipper check this out you can zip all. The way down zip all the way down on this side and peel this open and that. Grants you access to all the contents of your bag i love this feature on backpacks fjällräven got it right i. Haven't seen a pack that uses velcro at the top but this really does work well you just simply line it up smash it. Together and you are good to go being. Able to access all of your gear like that is just fantastic it's very. Smart now my friends take a look here at. The bottom of this pack it is nice and flat and it's molded to be that way that. Was your pack will stand up most packs. Are not able to stand up but this one can it's absolutely awesome it's. Definitely different i haven't seen a pack like this before that has that formed bottom it's very cool it works well when it comes to the harness system it's what you expect just terrific quality. Hadded extremely comfortable you have load lifters sternum strap with. Emergency whistle you have a very large padded waist belt with one pocket on the right-hand side ah it's like i left something in it from. My last trip I'll eat that on the way home very good buckle all the typical. Adjustments that you would expect you. Can also pull the load of the pack closer to the hip belt very nice now. There are a couple things i would like to point out that really just show off the type of quality the type of thinking that went into this pack check out this d-ring right here metal very solid very. Sturdy let's fold this back here now check this out you have one of the compression strap buckles and you see this you can take this out and adjust it. You can move it up you can move it down any place that you need to that is. Incredibly smart that is a very good feature having fixed compression straps. Really limit the way that you can load your pack the way that you hunker it down so being able to move those up and. Down really opens up a lot of doors for. The way that you can hunker down your load and get it comfortable for your trip with the water bottle pockets right below you do have this drawstring on each one so you can slide your water bottle in and then pull it nice and. Tight on the inside you have a clip as. You can see for your hydration bladder so you can just lock it into place it. Prevents the whole thing from sagging another great feature below the hydration keeper you have a zipper which gives you access to the. Frame sheet and the aluminum stays i. Showed mentioned below that you have an additional zippered area and this is. Perfect for maps its perfect for keeping extra cash if you're traveling. Around that way if something happens you get robbed you have a spot with extra. Cash hidden away trust me you need to do. It if you're a backpacker if you're a traveler below that you have a hydration. Sleeve which can hold three liters of. Water easily other than that there are no more sleeves there are no more pockets you can shove your sleeping bag down in the very bottom there is no set writer so it's just one big pocket so my. Friends that is the Nabisco 55 packs this. Thing is very impressive i absolutely loved it I've used it numerous times you guys saw it in the overnight adventure that stealth camping one i can't really remember exactly what i called it but it was a ton of fun and. This pack really did perform well and it took a lot of abuse i was really just. Bushwhack and pushing through the brush i was way off trail just using some maps. And some navigation yeah and it just. It's held up so well over the years I'm just so impressed with this pack now this is the black color you could find these in numerous colors there's black there's green there's un blue and this. Runs 270 dollars from the fjällräven dot. Us website for that price i think it's. Fantastic you know it's like with their pants like i have on here they're really expensive you look to pay around $100 a pair and you would think that their backpacks would be much more expensive more on the same level as our tareq's, but they're not two hundred and seventy dollars and you're getting an. Amazing backpack that really does have some cool features 55 litres this comes. In at four pounds eight ounces so it's know it is not super lightweight by any. Means but thanks to this harness it is. Very comfortable that is true so for our look at the pl raven Nabisco 55.
