What is up YouTube welcome to the first stands for Michigan tackle review there's not a lot of. That going on around up here so as far as. What works up here the Upper Midwest things are a little different a lot of colder water boys November already. And I'm having trouble catching any kind of bass tomorrow. We are gonna do some pike fish. Though hopefully some fight for you guys. That on video but I'm gonna start out with about four years ago. Istarted I started fishing hard. Iwas a kid but about four years ago. Iwas sitting around playing video games. All the time I wasn't doing anything and. Idecided hey it's time for me to get a hobby it's time for me to get out. Something so what I want to start with today is probably the best lure. That I've had in those four years the. Most productive lure. And it's not a very expensive lure it's a very cheap lure it's very good starting out lower. What I'm talking about is the rebel crank bait square bill bluegill the rebel blue yo.
This is a great lure for here in Michigan a lot of people will tell. You base don't eat bluegill well they're not from the Upper Midwest. They do I've seen we have a lot of little game around here. These are great all weather condition crank baits I've caught fish on them deep caught fish on them shallow they're really good rattle. Idon't know you can hear. That good it's kind of sunk a little bit it's not it's not real loud but it's just perfect. It works great around here also small hooks which around here a lot of the fish are kind of small. We don't get real big bass here ten pounds is a huge bass around here. You know you go down south that's the norm for them but. Ifind out I finally attract a lot of fish. It comes in a variety colors fairly cheap. You can pick it up at Dick's. He got the regular blue teal color here. It also comes in a pump which also works very well.
Ihaven't caught many fish on the albino there's kind of pale blue color I've had a couple small bass on. This but nothing really big for this color so. You can do without you still got the regular which could be your light color. And then you've got the pumpkin which could go for a dark day. Or cloudy overcast day. That works really good is the fire tiger but let. This one's got a lot of teeth marks in. And I'm gonna tell you guys right. You use the fire tiger use a steel leader Pike love. Idon't know why it's a small lure as far as pike are concerned but. They nail this every time. Ithink it's just a fire tiger color around here works really great. You might want to give. That a try too especially. You got cloudy water murky water that's a great lure right there. These lures are great like.
Isaid getting great hooks never had. Any rust problems they've been in my tackle box for four years. They often used in their wet. Nothing going on with rust no breakage in the hooks. When I've caught several big pike on. Ihaven't had the hooks break off, so they're made really good for a pretty fairly decently cheap price. You can pick them up at Dick's. Or Walmart sometimes has them a lot of people have a hard time finding them dicks for sure. Iknow has them Bass Pro Shops I'm sure those two have a lot of people use rubber lures anymore but. Ithink they're missing out. They really do work. And for the price can't beat. It tomorrow like I said I'm gonna be doing some pike fishing trying out. Some new things hopefully.
Ican get some good video. That for you guys leave a comment like please like the video as much as. You can hit watchdogs subscribe to my channel let. Me know things you would like to see. Me do lures you would like to see. Me review as far as the Upper Midwest goes I'll go out not trying for you guys. We um gotta waste your money on them I'll let. You know how good they work but just uh yeah leave a like. And hopefully we can do. More of these hopefully we'll catch the pike tomorrow we'll get a nice video thanks guys for watching, and we'll see.
Rebel Micro Critters Micro Minnow
Size: 1-1/2", 1/16 oz., 0-2 ft. depth.
Colors: (201)Silver/Black, (248)Tennessee Shad, (271)Rainbow Trout.
What we've done it rebel is we've tried to show leadership in the fishing industry by introducing many different models of barbless fishing lures. That are single hook barbless such as. This rebel micro minnow. One looks like a little baby rainbow trout but it's going to enable fishermen. All over the country to fish. And special regulations areas in national parks. And areas you have to have single hook. Or barbless lures to legally fish so. You don't have to modify your own lures. You got rebel craw fish. And rebel minnows you don't have to pitch the barbs down. You don't have to clip off hook points. You have to do is take. These out of the package. And throw them you can fish. Any special regulations areas. That aren't restricted to fly fishing only. We designed these baits particularly the minnow the micro minnow a lot of design went into. These baits there's a weight ball in the front of. It which makes the lure stand up straight every time so the hook is always going to be pointed up the lure will always float hook up in the water.
And that's going to give. You better hook up so the weight also balances the lure. It gives the action. This minnow has a tight wheel wiggling action it's got a flat bill it's going to cause. It to dive about a foot. And a half two feet deep which is perfect for a lot of these trout streams. Whether it's the Rockies. Or west coast or Mid America. Even under the Appalachians. This is the type of lure fishermen are using for trout so the single hook barbless obviously enables. You to use this in pretty much. All trout waters across the country it's going to perform like a rebel minnow wood it's got a little diving action a specific action type wiggling action. You can actually use. It as a jerk bait you hold your rod tip down. And you'll jerk and forth. And cause the Lord a dark back. And forth like a ninja Meno so the micro Meno has specific design features. You can go out pretty much anywhere. And not only catch trout catch.
Anything well you might be able to use a inch.

When you're using a single hook barbless lure like. This Micro Creek hopper right here be sure to use four. Or six pound test line. You want to use real light fishing line. That way you can make long casts. And the lure will get. All the action it possibly cans with. That real light line. This lure has a little balancing weight. It helps it floats straight up every time. It also balances it makes. That little wiggle that goes back. And forth this lure will dive about a foot. And a half two feet deep we're catching a small mouth today keep your line tight don't give slack. That barbels lure will penetrate faster. Than a barbed lure this little micro Creek hopper is designed to catch fish it's got. That big bite hook on. And it's a great way. You can go out and have a lot of fun. And catch a bunch of fish with a single hook bar balloon you.
