A two and a half layer fabric 50 deniers so you've got durability there but. They're still pretty lightweight they're a hundred percent recycled polyester, and they've got rip stop in that fabric so. You have durability there as well and then you have a durable water repellent coating on the outside so not only is it. A waterproof fabric but you have that water repellent coating there to give some extra durability they are. Breathable so it's gonna let that moist. Warm air escape and it's going to keep. Out the rain so definitely a great barrier who shall here the features are. Really simple, but they're very functional as well you've got a stretchy waistband here at. The top it's just a really nice elastic waistband there's no zipper fly or. Button there at the top, so they're completely full coverage and then you do. Have two hand level pockets here those. Pockets are lined with just a mesh. Fabric so these pockets can actually act. As a vent so you can kind of dump out. That warm heat if you're. Wearing them you can open up those pockets and make them a little bit more breathable so there is kind of storm. Flap in front of that pocket moving down. The pant you do have articulated knees, so they're moved with you and flex with. You there so a small detail but it does make a big difference with this hard. Shall fabric you do have a pretty long. Zipper that goes most of the way up your. Legs so it doesn't go all the way up to the top you're protected there but that zipper is a two-way zipper so if you. Start at the top you can just open that up and vent it a little bit from the top if you need to dump out some extra heat or you can unzip it from the bottom once. You're at camp and you need to kind of take the pants off it makes it really easy to take them off overtop of boots. Over top of your hiking boots or whatever you're wearing there now down at the bottom you have a stretchy elastic hem down at the bottom and. There's a snap there's actually two spots for that snap so you can really cinch it down if you're wearing gaiters over top of them you can cinch that down with that snap and the snap also keeps. All the way around so you can definitely cinch that down you've got a full length. Zipper here and the interesting thing about the zipper is you have two layers. On the outside of protection so water. Isn't gonna sneak its way in through the zipper and then you also have a storm flap behind the zipper so that's. Definitely gonna protect you there if you've got a lot of rain coming down. You've got two hand level pockets and. These pockets are also protected by a flap this flap here also kind of gives. It a clean look so it doesn't look like a super technical jacket again allowing you to wear it anywhere and then moving. Up you do have a nice collar so because. This is a waterproof piece its wind. Proof as well so if you need to zip it. All the way up comes up to a nice collar. In there to protect you and you've got a pretty big hood it's definitely a helmet compatible hood so you can climb with this piece the hood is nice and big but you can. Adjust it with two points of adjust ability there's one there on the. Back that adjusts the volume of the hood. And then you have another adjustment that comes out here and you can cinch. Down around this area and the thing i. Love about this adjustment is it actually comes out of the outside of the jacket and sometimes on waterproof. Pieces with a big hood i need to cinch it down and then it gets kind of bunchy on the inside, so they pulled that cord out to the outside it's a small feature but it makes a big difference to give a little bit more breath ability you do have underarm vents they're really easy. To get to and the vents are pretty big so that's going to dump out a lot of that excess heat so if you are hiking. Backpacking or if it's simply a warmer day you can unzip both of those and have. A lot of ventilation now the fit of this jacket is spot-on to. What i would expect from patagonia it is a regular fit, so they give you a little bit more room to move plenty of room in. The shoulders and in the back so it's not going to constrict movement I'm wearing a small right now and i normally wear smalls and i can definitely layer. Underneath of it if i need to right now. Purchased and received and i just wanted to kind of do a quick review of it show you what it looks like this is a men's medium and i'm kind of a medium build so. That's what it kind of looks like has this little hood thing going on it'll zip all the way up very protected from. The rain the wind especially you can. Wear it like this as well on the inside. Is white so it's pretty shockingly white tom it also has these arm pit zips to. Let out some of the heat while you're hiking and such what i was going to tell. You about it as the classic wrist size. It has this little pulley in the back of. The hood which i've never really seen before which tightens a string around. The top and literally make it sink right onto your head and this little bill will. Act is the same as a little hat and so. It'll literally like tighten up to where it's just like your eyes and your nose and so um if you're really i mean it looks a little funny but if you're really hurting hurting out there that's. Some to enjoy and this tightens the. Standard circle um let's gonna show you. There's a patagonia also the waist size. Will tighten as well and i'm not sure. The exact make all you need to know is. Has an adjustment on the back of the hood it also has two on the collar to. Tighten your hood up make sure it's not flopping around your head it also comes with a laminated visor top so it fits more like a ball cap instead of a traditional hood and the other big.
