Thanks for watching so we’ve done a lot of duck, calling videos and we figured we’d, throw it into goose, because the first thing you started out doing throughout the years. Goose call and we’re just gonna- do a very basic honk and show you new beginners. How to do it. I have a short, read, goose call! It’s an MG rush, I, absolutely love it. So essentially what I’m gonna do is do the honk and the way that you put together a goose note is kind of like the way you put it out for a duck, except there is absolutely no voice inflection in your throat the way I’m going to be doing it is with cold air.
So it’s like you’re blowing out candles on a birthday cake. So it’s a same thing with a duck call to cut off the note. You use the meaty part of your tongue, so you have your tongue anchored against the back part of your teeth, I’m, the blob bottom level and you force out air, so I’m gonna kind of go through the first noise you’re gonna hear, and that is a and you notice how it’s really high-pitched and all that notice how I’m also not putting my hands over the call like you would for a normal goose call.
Just to not confuse you guys, because that really confused me, you should be able to do all your notes without having your hand over the call, so you should be able to do. You should be able to do that without having your hands on the call. The only difference is just for the sake of teaching and for you learning you want to learn how to do it. The right way, I know a lot of guys who can break over the reed, but only with their hands on the call, and that’s not the right way to do it. For me, teaching you how to do this I’m gonna.
Do it in the back of the call so I can show you the kind of air I’m presenting you can hear my tongue cutting off the note, so I’m not just really going I’m, not using the back of my throat I’m just blowing it out like a birthday candle in the front of the calls gonna sound like the last night I did there was a clock and that’s without the moan in front of it. Damn near. Every single note will stem from this. That first part of the call is called the moan. That’s without me, breaking over the Reed, what I’m doing there is I’m having my tongue sitting as low as I can in my mouth.
So this is just the normal here. I was going up and down up and down, but it’s not breaking over the read it doesn’t break over the read til I force the air over my tongue. This is really hard if you’ve never blown a short read, goose call, but once you get that down without your hands over it, every other note will go so much faster. So with my hands, without the call I bring my hand closer to it, am I blowing any different? That’s just my hands are adding it as like a tuning board just like when you’re going like this with a duck call, so the hands are important, but just for the sake of learning, how to do the note properly, don’t use your hands starting out, thanks for watching guys, be sure to like our stuff on Instagram and Facebook and be sure to subscribe to us on YouTube thanks for watching.

Ah, we got our newest book. Abella usko can find it at for sure it vas, Peru or max, or on our website commander. Calm I want to show you a couple things about it. Why we built it, we built it. So it’s easy if you get in the field and they take it apart, you can tell you to park. There’s three parts of this thing you got to read just like that. You’ll put the read on here. If you need to clean this, it’s just so simple, then you put the wedge on top, though shove it home all the way in when you do that, you get something that sounds like this.
You ain’t gonna be for the price that it is and for how easy it is to operate. This call is gonna, be tough to beat so check it out. This fall goose, commander, Bob duck commander, spoke about the goose call.
I know what you’re probably thinking is I’ll bet I. Surprise you there. It is the new goose commander, speckle Belikov. It is a something we’ve been working on for a while. Now it’s going to be available in select retailers, this fall, but what I’m going to do is give ten of you out there a chance to run it for field tested force and, if you’ll do that for us- and you know we’ll send you a free one, all you got to do is tag us and your speckle belly.
Hunting pictures I need to see that you’re actually hunting geese, because I’m gonna do many good if you’re not hunting geese. So tagging Senor speckle by the hunting pictures will pick ten of you to send a call and try out for us, and we certainly appreciate.
This is our speckle bellied goose call necessity, because Louisiana has a lot of speckle by the geese and just so happens. It tastes really good I. Remember the prototype of this call. We actually killed the only speckle belly that has ever been killed in duck commander history. It’ll do all kinds of sounds: it’ll click, it’ll, yodel it’ll, do the high-pitched I call it greeting call.
I’m gonna go through a few of those just to let you know what it sounds like here we go and then, if you want to yo door, you just string it out. That’s your yodel! Here’s a club, that’s when they’re on the ground chasing each other. That’s that’s generally. What finishes off speckle by the geese and your decoys. This is our speckle Belleek I’ll, give it a try.
You’ll, be glad you did.

I, like the call to smoke a better goose, they will decoy they would. They will come to that cost, so they just they just callable they and it’s so neat, because they will respond to what you do they lock in now. They actually call back to you to you call and they will answer well. This is a shave, respect and this read is tulip-shaped and it breaks so easy, but you’ve got to add a touch of back pressure.
You’ve got to add a little bit of back pressure to the back of the call all right Bubba. Let’s do the yodels yodel it one all right over colleges like that. I can press it against my mouth and put my fingers just just make a little V with you index finger on your middle finger, knitting. One thing: I must back pressure, you know what to do in I mean you get you get your different sounds by doing, but the neat thing about the che breeze spec is is that it doesn’t take all of your loans.
You still have to it’s just real rapid. If you do it with no back pressure. It’s just it’s not quiet breaks, but it doesn’t not right. You got just a touch of back pressure and I’m, just barely lifting that finger. One thing people mess up with sometimes is the speckle belly is a to note yodel. That’s it two notes. They’ll do three and that’s even that’s like a distress when you do more than three, so you always want to listen to what they’re doing and then do that alright and the Hale call went way off and you want to get their attention.
It just takes a touch bit of back pressure and give it to a skirt. It’s just to start off high and kind of like the hole and once again you can barely see Kurt’s hanging out. You could probably see mine more, but it’s to tease you gotta lift it. For that second note and you kind of drop your jaw, you kind of drop your jaw on that. Second part: that’s a little bit more air into the car.
Give it to this bow the Hale column, elbow simple to do and then nose.
