We're going to take a look at the new loophole l RW rings. This is something new from loopholed Burris came up with. Something like this similar a number of years ago but the Leopold decided to make a ring without a detachable rectangular section. And we'll get into that in just a second so just open up the package the. Most rings we'll just kind of take a look at. This prw ring have a detachable rectangular section. That you unscrew the tightening screws. You pull that over. And then on the base. You just simply put. It over and then screw down. And you're good to go that's very typical Weaver did. And try to get this on the camera it's a little hard to see there's an undercut right here.

You could kind of see. That we'll take the recoil pin out might make. It easier and this leg is slightly bent outwards so. That will give you the clearance to put the ring on the base but there's no moving parts so again. Where the other rings would slide over the top. This ring comes in from the front. Or the rear so it just simply slides over the base. And you line up the hole with the slot in the base. And tighten her up, and she's good to go. Now one thing I have found using the Burris basis is. When I mount scopes for guys here in the shop. And I go to bore sight using these types of rings. And notice I use less wind age. And elevation adjustment. And I don't know exactly for sure other. Then perhaps because there's fewer moving parts in other words there's no moving parts really I'm just simply bending this leg in a little bit.

When I'm talking down on the recoil pin. That um everything lines up a little bit better, so they're really good. When it comes to accuracy also just to show. You this is an e GW rail. It happens to both 20 MOA. And this is the front of the rail so. These rings will fit pica tinny rails. And just as a hint now pica tinny rails the slot is wider. Than your average base so there's going to be. Some flay in there so. When you have your ring lined up with a slot. You want you're going to want to put the ring forward again. This being the front of the gun out. It forwards and then tighten. It down that's because. When you fire the rifle. And the rifles recoil comes back the force on the ring is actually applied by the back here of the groove not not the front but it's the back so always torch the ring forward before tightening it down on a Pirating rail so in the nutshell that's the Leopold lr w rings the steel high precision.

Everything you would expect from low pole very nice the advertises nylock. You know my interpretation of nylock is. You actually have nylon. That it's part of a slightly bent circle. If you well that you're screwing into. And that locks it in but. Ibelieve what they're really talking about is simply. They well its kind of hard to see but. You see that little blue speck that's just. Some Loctite that they put on the screws. That hold the top of the ring to the bottom so. They you don't back out so Leopold lr w rings get a set for yourself.
