Hey guys michelle here from the house comm and today we're talking about the full tilt plush six boots or I'm here with the full tilt rep john schmoke thanks for being with here with us today thank you for having me in the show so I'm super exciting to talk about these boots um to start i will talk about the liner in these boots, so we have a wraparound intuition liner so what can. You tell me that's kind of just one of the better features of why it's a wraparound and what intuition liner really means well here's another example of it the wraparound intuition liner is. We use more interest intuition on this. Particular liner so it's gonna be the warmer liner that we have our there and because it's more intuition it's gonna be more heat moldable for that customer but intuition liners are the lightest weight liners out there other the warmest liners out there and are totally heated moldable and if i like the. Wraparound feel better because i feel like it covers more different sizes of. Calves and ankles and stuff like that. Super hot which is super important and as super important on the ladies but on the ladies liners that you can see we do have a it's cut out so it's lower so. It's gonna encompass more of their it's gonna be less problem with any kind of ankle or calf pressure and women coming. It's kind of complaining about that a little bit experiencing that with their ski boots, so they look nice a very nice solution to that to jump into the next. Thing is we're gonna talk about this ribbed tongue so it's super different from what any other company is doing what can you tell me about that well the rip tongue that we the reason we put a rib tongue on there is because has a. More consistent flex out of the tongue and it's like ripped straws that you can. Buy at the girls shoe store totally when you flex that straw the diameter stays the same and that's what this the theory behind this is that when you flex it stays the same shape so you're not deforming the boot or anything and then it gives you a progressive flex all the boots so you can always keep your. Ankle engaged and you can engage it more or less or anything like that you know when you're out skiing so it's gonna give you a better performance just because you can keep that ankle engaged and keep all the muscles in the foot working and stuff it's not going to change the shape of the you'd have to deform the boot or anything like that everybody hung on it so it's way more responsive is what you're saying — yes which is super helpful because you know with the warm liner a comfortable liner and a responsive tongue that doesn't make you work harder than you need to you can ski much longer than you would in another ski boot, so we also have some adjustable features on here i know that full tilt boots are super customizable so with this boot here we do have the six flex which is about a 90 mm know kind of average scale there so it's a little bit of a stiffer flex but i know that we can adjust that the tongue is that right yes. The tongues we have a flex four. Tongue we have a flex six we have a flex ate a 10 and a 12, so we'll just. Replace the 12 is a stiffest so if you. Buy this boot and you want a softer flexing tongue maybe for a certain type. Of skiing style you can have that for park riders and i think that and then if you want to upgrade that tongue into a stiffer boot for our free riding you can buy that as another tongue you. Can just replace them very easily and then you can go out and you can have a stiffer feel to the tongue and so you can get more response better power and. Performance all the boot with a different drama tour tongues that we have our there that's awesome i think it's really nice to have that kind of feature that customizable is just. Absolutely amazing — and i know some of the straps and about calls and everything are replaceable as well — yes all the buckles are replaceable they're screw onto stuff, and we use as you can see we use the cables on here the cables. Give it less pressure so the service of. Pressure more evenly out on the boot itself so you don't have all the pressure right over the buckle and the. Buckles have micro adjustments on them so you can micro adjust those so you can get their best custom fit that you want. Out of the boot for whatever kind of. Writing you're gonna do we do it on this particular boot — we do have a stiffer material we put at the bottom of the boot so it's gonna have better edge in side-to-side edge had better control. And then we have a softer drummer. Up in this part of the boot so it rapture on your foot and gives you more comfort yeah super comfortable and then. As you mentioned too if you want to change out the flex um just because if you want to ride park or if you want to do some kind of trick skiing we also have that's a shock absorbing it's a. Foot board everywhere okay and yes this. Foot board in this particular boot is made out of a rubber material so it's gonna if they're doing jumps or anything daft a more freestyle right it's gonna give a better feel and a softer landing. And i know both tilt is really popular because they have an extremely comfortable boot that's really easy to get on and off and i definitely would say that this is a super easy boot for women to get on and off especially i don't lots of my girlfriends when we go skiing they're like be back in 15 minutes i gotta go put my ski boots on it's definitely not one of those boots um so what can you tell me about why this boot is just so easy to get on and off compared to all other brands well. Under full tilt we use a three-piece construction on the full-tilt boot, so we. Have the lord part of the boot where your foot goes into, and then we have the. High back on the back that gives you the support and give you the helps to give that performance, and then we have this tongue and this tongue is separate and actually if the whole tongue will flip open as you unbuckle it so you can see. How it flips open like sol unbuckle the. Food like so and then just lift the. Tongue up and the whole boot opens up so it's very easy to get into and get off. And then once you've gone skiing or you've been skiing for the day you can put that all back in you just flip this back like that and you're basically ready to go and ski and it's easy to go up okay so. Now to talk about a couple of those pieces i know on this one we have a flex four so that's about a flex 70 compared. To the rest of them yes correct yes. Correct yes the flex four tongue is about a 70 flexed out of other boots and. We have our there, and we have this is a flex four but you can also get a flex six so you can get a flex eight you can get a flexed hand you can get a flex 12 so for the customers buying this boot if. You want something that's gonna be maybe higher performance more rigid boot you. Can buy a stiffer tongue or if you want to keep the four where its easy gets. Less shouldn't bay maybe you're gonna do some freestyle skiing and you can use. That also so you can customize the flex you want all of that boot okay and so i know you guys have a ton of customizable parts specifically as we were talking about the tongue which is super awesome what their parts on this are customizable well you can the liner itself is this. Tongue liner like this so it's easy to get on and off yeah it's an intuition liner, so they're very warm is all right. They're a heat moldable they're very warm, and they're very light so you can. Hear well the liner itself and that. Doesn't work for you can also mold the whole shell of the boot is a tpu plastic that we use on it so you. Can heat that up and you can put your foot into it will push out wherever you need to push it out i mean you have to pat it up inside a little bit or something like that but you can push it out so you can customize it or you can just do spot heating so it's just gonna heat up in one spot and if you got a little binding so you can totally. Customize that at any of your ski shops. That's are out there so this is already in one or two but if you need it to be a little bit bigger um you can make it bigger yes however this is also a woman's kind of very specific fit is it not yes it is its lower cut in the back. So it doesn't interfere with their calf. Definitely longer calves that ladies have out there, and we keep it's a one. Or two last, but we keep it a more little bit narrower in the hue pocket i just. So they have a nice tight fit on it and the performance and the comfort that they want all of that boot so it is designed specifically for a woman's last. That we have all in the company okay yeah i would definitely great that i would have to say for myself even i definitely had much smaller ankles and that's kind of the hard part with that too is like when you go up and last oftentimes you know the ankle kind of moves around a little bit more so not a. Lot of companies you know pay super specific attention to that and a couple. Other things about this is i know you guys are really just known for being comfort and i want to kind of touch on. That because i know you know higher comfort is higher performance and maybe. Just talk about kind of your dedication to that within the company oh yes well comfort is performance and that's what we really look at and that's why we have the heat moldable liner we have the heat shall you can heat up from their comfort out there the intuition liners are super comfortable, so we have a lot of comfort out there we also have the ribs tongue. Which gives it a more progressive flex all the bhoots more natural flex your. Ankles always engaged when you're out skiing for sure so you can do that we. Have a for lean mechanism so you can adjust that onto the boot itself that is adjustable yep that is adjustable on the back of it also the straps are. Adjustable or you can get longer straps on it if you need you know in case you have a bigger tank or whatever you can. Make those adjustments on it too so you can customize that whole boot for your. Foot shape and what you want out of the. Boot that's really awesome to that you can adjust the straps as well because we have a lot of women out there too who tend to have you know kind of narrower ankles, but they might have a little bit of a larger calf i know we make a lot of just street boots with a wider calf so to adjust that you're saying is you can just get a longer strap here and you know fix that problem there that's pretty awesome i know a lot of women definitely have that problem so thank. Very warm this is a 102 lasted boot so it's a little bit wider, but they keep the heel pocket mice and narrow makes it very good performance without being. What's unique about this boot is it has a lot of foam in here of fur I've never. Seen so much for in a boot in my life so. It's really just for show it really. Doesn't do much for this shirt sure it feels nice on the skin this happens to. Be a walk ski type of boot so when you. Release this little latch back here I'll. Loosen the buckles it's going there. We go flex back and forth makes it easier to. Get on easy to get off easy to walk through the parking lot and hang out in the bar it also has a traction type of. Sole some softer material through here softer and gummy material in this area. Giving a little bit better traction in the park liner if you want to take it into the back country and that sort of thing to do some hiking it's going to give a little bit better traction on those rocks and it's a thermal moldable. Type boot has some thermal moldable thumbs in there which what's there are multiple phones well what that is we heat the liner up and that foam you put.
