Hey guys today I wanted to make a video about. How I'm fletching my arrows here for this. Iam using this fletching device here from Boeing this. One here is specially designed to for the two-inch place of vanes. You can get some other models. If you're using longer veins but. One is specially designed for the two-inch blazer vanes. It puts the veins in the free degree angle. Ican really see some improvement in my groupings. And stuff after I started to use. This so I'm very happy with. This a little bit about. It here is in front of. You can see there's an adjustable screw depending on the thickness of your shaft. You can loosen and move. And down so it will fit your shaft. And right up here you can see. You put in the nock. And then there's a turning wheel here so. You flash one main. You just turn one click. And it's ready for the next. This also comes with. This plate here and in the package. You see there is some silver tape. And then it's very important to put.

One on here because the glue can stick on. You don't you end up gluing the vein. This plastic plate you definitely don't want to do. You put too much glue on. It so remember to put. One on guys I have a an arrow here already took off the veins so. Iwanted to show how I'm going to do. You just press it down here. And click this thing up in front of. It then you're going to take yo B. And Gentilly push it down there. And make sure it's this way sit ways need to be sitting and. You take a glue for this I'm just using a normal fletching glue actually think it's just normal super glue but. One I'm using and there's. Many friends out there depending on what you like but. One here works for me so gently gonna put a little glue on. It not is careful not to put too much on. Because then your error gonna be messed up with glue. All over the place and personally. Idon't like that so just a little bit yeah alright then.

Ihold the vein you press. It over there you can move a little bit so. Ijust hold here and just narrow. It down like and then you're just going to hold. It for a little minute alright guys. One has been sitting for about a minute I'm just going to pull. One off here you just turn. It alright like and then it's ready for the next. You just put it down here so. And make sure it's set correctly then you're gonna take your glue. And let's see I can show. You here just a little bit of glue not too much. Some guys still put a lot of glue on. And looks like crap but like massive yeah. And again hold the vein. You just press it down under. Any point and then hold.

It for music alright. One take, and then we don't hook the last ball back make sure. It sits correctly take super glue. And apply a little bit of. You may remember the front on the end of. We press one on here so. All right this should be done not sick. And sip arrow as you can see. This turned out quite well I'm not sure. You can actually see the three degree angle on. It might be difficult but. This works well you can get a lot of devices. You can click three. Or four arrows of the sign bit. Ilike to sit with just. One hand and make every. One count very good. You know because then you're going to get the job done correctly every time. And but there was just a little video. Imade here so you like. Now hit the like button down there. And subscribe and then so. You will stay in tune. Iput on another video thanks for watching guys.

Weston 8000 RPM Arrow Saw

The 8,000 RPM blade speed and heavy-duty 110-volt motor of Weston's Arrow Saw easily power blades to cut through all types of shafts. It features a fixed measuring scale to ensure arrows are cut with accuracy every time.

We just got in the West. And arrow saw it's the 5000 rpm model you're going to have a shield. That comes in the packet — arrow rollers force kind of operation. And then you're going to have a pair to the end for the nock so you'll know. How far you're measuring it also comes with a 34-inch ruler that's adhesive on the back. It also comes with a blade preinstalled. And a screw and thumb screw. You can adjust the depth right there. And that's where your arrow will rest. When you're cutting it the first initial instructions say to measure from the blade back four inches. You make a mark and you'll put your four inch mark right on. That mark I would say probably put. Either lower or up on the top just depending on where your little arrow rest hits so. That way you can use. That edge for precise measurement, so we're going to clean off. This angle iron make sure there're no walls. Or grease and get started on. That so look at that going okay so.

Ijust used 409 all-purpose cleaner. And a dry paper towel. And then we kind of sprayed. Or lightly wiped off nature is really dried. You can see it's dry. And eat till it got a little the shine off so the next thing we're going to do is going to mark 4 inches with our sharpie. And a tape measure from the blade according to their recommendations. And that's about four inches right there okay then we'll go on to the next step okay in Pearl westerns. And destructions you're just going to want to peel the tape up just a little bit so you're not trying to stick the whole thing at. If you've been that part away. It will separate a little easier, so we're just going to come back a couple inches. And kind of fold that under. And we're going to try.

And stay I think right along with. That edge right there that'll give. You a little bit of a straight edge. Idon't know you can see my mark but I've made. It with black magic markers so it's probably kind of hard to see, so we're just going to find four inches which is right there. And do our best to keep. It as straight as possible so. What we'll do is we'll just peel. This back and wipe. It down so we'll finish. That up real quick and show. When we're done okay. And we've got all stuck down. We just try to keep. It just a little below. That little groove there. You can see it may not be perfect but it's going to be pretty darn close but anyway. It comes all the way out to 34 inches so that's. Then plenty so that's probably the. Most difficult part here next. We need to find our little allen wrench set. And put on our shield. It actually comes with tools so. You don't actually have to go dig. That around but anyway just be sure. You follow the label directions in the manual.

And it'll tell everything you need to do. Nothing too difficult there, so we'll get onto the neck pain. This bolt right here after. You take this cover off it's a little wingnut. It just screws loose. And the shield comes off. And then you want to reach in here with your allen wrench. And adjust that's because it's packed. All the way in I'm sure. It makes it easier to ship but you'll want to loosen. And slide back right here so. You don't have quite so much blading it doesn't make a diagonal cut on your arrow. You can see that depth in there that's quite a bit so find the right allen wrench. And adjust it out for you real quick okay of the Allen wrenches.

That came packed with the Weston Harris. All it's the biggest. You just put it in there. You just loosen it up okay we've got. That loosened up you can see. It slides back and forth. You can watch up here the depth. You don't really need to. All the way in there. Because arrows aren't. That thick so really. You need is just a little bit that's maybe quarter of an inch. Something that'd be. Then enough so adjust. It out just a little bit. And then you won't be cutting on an angle. When you're putting your arrows into the blade. It will make a nice straight cut for you. And then just be sure. You tighten that up with. That same allen wrench. And then you're ready to install the shield okay. You get your saw blade adjusted for depth. You do is start the little thumb screw deal just snug. It back up that is just kind of keep.

You from accidentally getting in there. Or sticking your finger under there it's just a nice safety. And then just snug it back up. You can see that's pretty well complete. It depth is adjusted so that'll be. And then we'll get right on. This yield all right. You remove those screws your shield butts up right there like. That start your screw. And considering this is plastic. Iwould not overtighten. And be sure you don't tighten. It too much so you can adjust to make your holes fit, so we'll get the rest of. It bolted on you can see there that's a nice safety feature. You can't get to it except for right through there so. You can put your arrow in there. And swing into it alright we've pretty well gotten.

Everything from the shield to the depth of the blade. And the measuring rule installed. You want to mount it to a binge there are a couple bolt holes right there. And right there you can put on probably about a 3/16 bolt. Something like that through there. And mounted securely Taney bench. This is a really nice feature. It comes with a couple of rollers. They just mount on the back of the L bracket. You can set your arrow on top after. It built with your broad head. Or your fill point you can spin. You can watch the end. You can see if it's got a wobble. Anything so you can make adjustments so. Than have to also got by a separate arrow spinner you've got. One built in so you don't really need to leave. These on here and pointed. When you're cutting arrows but that's a very nice little tool to have with.

This so mounting your knock in its just got a thumb screw. You twist that loose. And it's got a notch. And the knot just slides over the back. And then you just snug. That up you'll have to work. That a little bit to make sure. It doesn't roll on you a little bit but no your. More pressure than you're putting on. And your arrow slides right up in through there like. And your nock fits down in. This receiver like when you're cutting you'll just spin. That to make sure you just pull backwards just a little bit to put pressure. And then your arrow we'll just roll right into the cutter like. When it's on and then. You little cut your shaft pretty simple to. How to measure I would recommend getting a good arrow program. Something so you can double check your lengthy your shaft. Everything and you'll know. Where to cut it for optimum flight. And arrow control for your archery. And so pretty simple.

You just adjust you want. It 28 inches you just move. It up to 28 inches just depending on what your arrow program recommends but. Some people like to cut. It fits in front of their riser to keep the rod head away from your fingers so. You know that measurement is there. You can just put wherever. You want it go out to 34 inches so okay so. If you've already got. Some arrows and you're just building new ones. And they're pretty much the same spine. Everything if you just load your arrow into the receiver. And then you come down here to the blade just adjust. It back till it just hits the back of the insert pretty close like. And then your new arrows will be pretty much the same as your old arrows. And then just be sure. You tighten it up be sure. You hold some downward pressure. That rotates just a little. You don't have to over tighten but here. Now give her a little wiggle passes a whiff test make sure your NOC is.

All the way down there. That moved on us just a little bit so. That would be reasonably close, so we'll just lock. It down right there so. This comes with a long off switch right on the cord it's not a very long cord normally you're probably pretty close to the wall. That you're just going to want to turn. It on make sure everybody's hands. Everything are clear. And we'll try to show the best. We can arrow being cut so. And that's why you use the shield. Because sometimes those ends eject out a little bit anyway there. You go nice and easy a very reasonable price. And a pretty good quality soft so just don't dive in too fast but there. You know makes a nice good cut for a reasonable price so. You want to build your own arrows you're a long way to.

hey everybody. This PJ Riley from Lancaster our tree here on the floor of the Expo Center in Louisville Kentucky were at the NASP national tournament. Iam here at the Easton booth with Nate Pitcher. He is the director of business development for Easton archery products Nate Easton has a big role here in. This tournament tells. That role is we have a. Few things we do with Nass but. One of the major things is. We manufacture the arrow for the NASA tournament. And for all NASA programs in general. And that's the Easton genesis arrow. Now the Easton genesis arrow is an aluminum arrow in 1820 size. It comes in four colors a green a blue. And an orange and a purple. And that's one of the things the kids really like. Ilike having the different colors. Because yeah a bunch of kids shooting in the same target. And so being able to tell the difference of whose arrows whose was a bit really important yeah so with. We also Fletch them in a variety of different colors. And combinations we use a three-inch AAA II plastic Fletch veins.

And then we also have a variety of nock options so. They can really vary the way. That the arrow looks so. They can customize some ways. Some too you know to match their school why is. This a good arrow for what's happening here. What well you know. One of the things that's really important to NASP is having the equipment. You know a level playing field. And so that's why so much of the equipment's standardized including the arrows. Now with an aluminum arrow. One of the good things is inevitably. You know someone's going to miss a target they're going to hit the wall. Something and there's a possibility to damage an arrow with aluminum it's really easy to see. That damage you can say. You know what this arrows are damaged. Ishould continue to shoot.

You know so but it's always important to take a look at your arrow make sure. That it isn't damaged before. You keep shooting it checks the nock. That kind of stuff so that's. One of the really good things about aluminum it's the safety factor. And then also aluminum is very precise. You know and so. And affordable too and that's that's two things. We want to make we want to make sure as. Many kids as possible get to shoot archery. And, and so we work really hard to keep the arrow in a place. They can afford to do so Easton's running a contest here at. This year's tournament to get a fifth color tell. Us about that so originally there was only. One color of arrow that ran into. All kinds of problems with being able to tell the difference.

And then we add in. And then we add in. And then a couple of years ago. We said hey let's let the kids choose which arrow. They want what color. They would like their arrow to be. We ran a campaign and let them vote. And we're doing that again. This year they actually chose purple last time. What we voted for it. This time I'm not gonna give. Any idea on whose in the lead but there's definitely a leader here but. These are the colors over here. What are the what are the color choices. That are up for consideration so. We have a silver a yellow a black a woodland camo. And a cinnamon red color so. And so at the end is. It at the end of this tournament voting is over. How does that work we're gonna continue voting, and we're gonna announce. It at the world tournament. And then and then people should be able to they'll start seeing them coming to stores towards the end of.

This year you mentioned kids probably like having their own colors. They don't want to all be the same exactly yeah so it's a big deal. They love the opportunity to vote. And choose a different color that's been a really exciting thing for them to do that's awesome the Easton genesis arrow. You have any questions. You can check us out at liang starch recom you.

Oh hey welcome to your boning tip of the week. This week we're talking why I shoot our blazer vanes. And a three degree right wing helical. You know we do a lot of hunting in Wyoming Montana Nebraska states. That have a lot of wind but. All my shooting at home up on. This hill you can see right. Now I've got about a 15 mile an hour wind which is just real common sometimes. It gets worse and I've learned. That adding the fourth blazer Bain to. This really stabilizes my flight. You can see it's a good crosswind from left to right but. What I want to show. You about stabilize your arrow flight is. That Glendale full rut is down there 70 yards away. And I'm not saying to shoot an animal at 70 yards. And high winds it's just. Ipractice I like to practice long range, so we're going to take the old new Evo here rigged up 70 yards away from. That full rut down there. And we're gonna demonstrate. Some stable aerial flight right there smack dab in his heart that's 70 yards away in a really good crosswind left to right that's. What I'm talking about with the blazer helical for flat. If you're shooting in a lot of windy conditions. Or you're going on a hunt like caribou hunting or you're going on a hunt into a state. That has a lot of winds. You may have to deal with. That put four blazer vanes on. It grabs them get them helical get ready to rock.

Hey folks today I'm gonna do a video it's a new arrow. Ihad made up down at the bow shot which is actually just 30 second walks from. And I'm just going to show. You guys then and go over to my gear here a little bit. Some shooting I have figured out. What grey archer one has been saying for a. Now bloke the solution. And I'm going to test. That out today for the first time. That changes my accuracy. He swears by it, so I'm gonna give it a shot. You know it worked out but here's the gear. Igot here somebody was asking me in. Another video but this here patch so there's the patch it's a Facebook group. They also sell merchandise I'll probably leave a link to. This group if anybody's interested. This is a white wolf archery quiver. And here're the arrows. Igot six of them the other day. Ihave a 3d tournament next month. Iwanted to get some matching arrows. These are I've used them before in the past. These are Center shot Beeman which is a nice company a brand of East. Ishould say, so they're kind of traditional looking wood grain covering I guess you'd call. It they're made in the USA. These are 500 spines. These really bright yellow. And blue fletching put on them. Igot 125 grain fields points put on they seemed to come loose quite a bit so. Imight be putting some wax on the tread on the tread there my threads there to keep them from coming loose but.

These arrows have a little collar. You know I've shot these before their pretty good arrow. And I'm just gonna show. You guys my very site today Thomas Falcon the website calls for on. This bow anywhere between 6 & 7 which is quite short. Most bows are 7 1/4 8. Iknow my bear was 8 here's the brace. Iknow you're supposed to go market by the deepest part of your handle of your bow right. Now mine's about six-and-a-half brace height which is right in the middle. Where falcon recommends. And ass he's interested serial number forty pounds carbon layer in their okay, so I'm just going to do. Some shooting here thinking about doing a real time solution thing. That I'll show what to do for like three four weeks the pencil. That much is shoe but.

You should get some fifteen sessions at least an hour. Each with the arrow underneath your eye. When you're looking at the shop you'll see. That it's pointing against the target. You go to the next step. You start ignoring just a functional spots but. It just seems to because that's kind of. They need to do your focus. That shaft up Baron so. That it's hardly sideways right of what you're looking when. You want to hit you hit low. Or high does about we just cost. You the first week so getting the side right so your brain with your eyes prevent accustomed to having the arrow underneath. And automatically pointing it straight at the target before. You start ignoring it start focusing on spots so. You get the yardage estimation by automation. You have to shoot the middle but still the oldest estimation.

The upside-down it comes with experience okay. This seems to be working out for me the first time I've tried the solution. These three here that's pretty good for me from 20 yards so quite happy with. Ididn't miss this time. That r2 over here or yeah maybe bad release. Something but like this was my first shot it's. What I did I was aiming for. Ilanded two more insanity so quite happy with. That took it to a different angle here again ten yards there yeah. Iwas like you down here yeah I'm rain just look at. It not best but what it is a couple misses last. Few shots we're not too bad with half an inch apart there so just a matter of practice.
